And there was that beyond awkward procedure they did photograph and show.

Can't remember who or why but it was a less than flattering, Open wide!, moment captured forever.

Hope Derrick's been to an orthodontist. Poor guy has got to still be suffering.

That was Smuggar punking Anna when she got her Invisalign.

They just got back a few days ago...they've got far less access to specialists there than there are in Houston or Dallas, per se. Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand, until the kids get back in school, forget getting an eye doctor, dentist, or orthodontist appt anywhere.

Yes, I hope he gets in to an ortho soon.

J'Chelle charting her grown daughter's menstural cycles is disgusting. But it being pregnancy obsessed J'Chelle, I would not put it past her.

My mom no doubt worried like all moms about their daughters getting in trouble.  She NEVER had any interest in tracking my periods or those of my sister's...I usually felt so lousy when I had one that she knew right away what was wrong. Mom always comforted me when I felt terrible...can't imagine Me-Chelle doing that for her girls.

My mom has never been obsessed with the sex lives of me or my 3 siblings. 3 of us are married, and the other one is divorced and happily partnered. These Duggars are truly obsessed with sex beyond what any normal person with healthy urges could ever dream of being. It just boggles the mind.

Even in marriage, those poor girls are still controlled by their parents. I might have to give up this forum since trying to even comprehend these Dim Bulb Duggars can't be very good for my health. I keep smacking my head...

I just read an article that Zika has been found in sperm up to 6 months after infection. I hope they all get tested to see if they have had Zika.

I hope and pray for their sake they have not been exposed to Zika.  That would just be terrible....would Boob and Jeremy tie Derick's hands together for the onanistic gathering of a sperm sample?  Medical necessity must win over their blinkered Philistine ignorance for once.

I think I just earned myself a trip to the prayer closet....

All the young married or almost married males need to be tested don't they?  They've all been in Danger America recently.  Maybe Jeremy's last trip was long enough ago, but Ben was there in the spring wasn't he?

They'd only test the girls carte blanche if they were pregnant and recently traveled.  The men are given a pass unless they need to be treated for symptoms related to Zika in the right time frame.  The Zika testing is pretty tedious (you need blood, urine, and saliva), so they aren't doing it on everyone traveling to CA right now.  I'm currently pregnant, live in Texas, and my OB can't get permission from the CDC to test any of his patients without travel history.

This just in!!!

Dilweed Manbun and Jilly Moonbeam Dullard have seen fit to admonish us all about the perils of sloth.  Since no one in that family has ever held a big boy or big girl job for any length of time outside the compound.and consider grifting and missioncationing as a vocation.

Read on if you dare!

Per capita, NWA has an abundance of orthodentists and oral surgeons. People may forget that Wal-Corporate is there, Tyson Foods to name a couple. NWA has a ton on money and high paid execs that expect exceptional care.

Kind of off topic, but I always tried to do this:  If you are flying in or out of National Airport (the one where the approach and take-off are over the Potomac, and it's kind of a slalom, but also may give you great views), for departure, try to get a starboard window seat and for arrival try for a port window seat.  If taking off to or landing from the north, you will get that view (and all of DC too).  If it's to or from the South, you'll get a good view of Virginia, so look for Mount Vernon.  Have your camera ready!

Any ideas what the Dullards could be doing in DC?

Nooooo, they are here?  Had I known, I'd have been on the alert for sightings. Does anyone know why?  FYI, We were at the zoo today and didn't spot them.

Somehow I don't like that they've co-opted one of my favorite views. I don't want the approach to DC by air associated with Dillards!

I thought the same thing & I'm not a germaphobic person.

I suppose living in Danger America has lowered their standards a bit...barefoot in the airport is not a good idea.  Ever.  I won't even wear flip flops in an airport.  I'm not a germaphobe, either.  Just ew.

Adding germaphobe disclaimer.

That's Jill.

It also appears, from the comments in this post, that more Duggars are in DC. Someone said that they saw other family members at the hotel in which they were all staying. Is there an anti-abortion rally coming up soon? I mean, that is their single-issue voting platform.

eta: The comment (in case it gets buried): "I just met some of your family this morning hopfully I can run into Jill , u, and ur adorable son since we are all staying at the same hotel."

If this is not politically motivated, I wonder if TLC is involved?

One thing for certain, there is NO WAY Smuggar ever returns to DC, so I imagine that he, Anna, and M kids are back home, maybe with Josie and possibly Jenni. Although I don't think Jenni would want to separate herself from Jilly Muffin Buddy, similar to what we see with Michael and Callie Bates' relationship.

I know my parents, when they went fundie-lite (Dutch reformed) were totally against gambling. My husband and I go to the county fair each year (it's around my birthday in mid/late-ish June) and bet on the horse races. We took my dad one year and at first, when we told him we were headed to the track, he was horrified. We assured him that we were only placing one $2 bet per race (okay, we didn't divulge that my husband sometimes bets $5). That seemed to calm him down, especially when I won a jackpot somewhere around $30 and bought him dinner. LOL
