Aaaaaaaaaaaaaand, until the kids get back in school, forget getting an eye doctor, dentist, or orthodontist appt anywhere. The men are given a pass unless they need to be treated for symptoms related to Zika in the right time frame. The Zika testing is pretty tedious (you need blood, urine, and saliva), so they aren't doing it on everyone traveling to CA right now. If taking off to or landing from the north, you will get that view (and all of DC too). If it's to or from the South, you'll get a good view of Virginia, so look for Mount Vernon. My husband and I go to the county fair each year (it's around my birthday in mid/late-ish June) and bet on the horse races. We took my dad one year and at first, when we told him we were headed to the track, he was horrified. We assured him that we were only placing one $2 bet per race (okay, we didn't divulge that my husband sometimes bets $5). That seemed to calm him down, especially when I won a jackpot somewhere around $30 and bought him dinner.
