It was interesting seeing various fundies. The highlight might have been the Swanson family, who was there and sitting towards the front. Too many shows & participants since those days for there to be a shred of meat left on the bones of protecting minors on television. That's so 2009, and all the big firms got things locked down. And newbie lawyers do the grunt work for partners, document review and fact-finding for the first couple of years. Deertick won't be going anywhere near any groundbreaking legislation or landmark cases for years, if ever. Those types of cases may occasionally come from small, rural markets, but they never stay there. They get bumped up to the big firms. He's not going anywhere significant, even with a J.D.
