I need to see those because they do have a great rapport in Civil War.

Oh you need to. They are the cutest thing. It makes me want a Falcon/and whatever Bucky is now movie so bad. Throw Natasha in there and I'm in heaven.

Milos Forman's passing reminded me of how I had such crush on Tom Hulce in Amadeus.  Just the way he conducted in those opera sequences...so passionate.

I just saw the new trailer for Bohemian Rhapsody, the biopic about Queen frontman Freddie Mercury & Rami Malek, who plays Freddie, looks good

I remember my best friend and I went to see Amadeus only because she had failed a test and her teacher told her if she saw it he'd give her an A. We both walked out of there in love. It's weird but we were just talking about this last night out on our walk when we were discussing how we were going to have to go see Bohemian Rhapsody. We are both big Queen/Freddie Mercury fans.

When I was 16 and Josh Brolin was 17, I was crushing on him after seeing Goonies.  As the years went by, I forgot about him except when he starred in an occasional movie that I wanted to see, after which, I appreciated his talent, but that was it.  This weekend, after seeing Deadpool, as we each approach 49 and 50 years old, I'm crushing on him again.  The man is hot as Cable.

He needs to stick with the grey hair like his dad did. It really compliments their very similar facial structures.

Speaking of James, I thought he looked absolutely fantastic for his age in Sisters. Honestly, the best he looked in years.

His character was nuts, but I did find him pretty hot in the original Amityville Horror. He rocked the SHIT out of the beard mixed with Michael Landon hairstyle:

That is him at peak attractiveness, I think. He really pulled off that Brawny man look that was so "in" during the late 1970's.

James Brolin is a very gorgeous man and his son, whom I’ve loved since his days on Young Riders, the short-lived series on CBS, is just as good looking.

Josh didn't get his father's height, but we can't have everything.

The rugged, brawny looks that he inherited from his dad didn't really serve him well in terms of getting leads back during the 90's and 2000's when everything was about the pretty boys as romantic leads or boyish manchildren in frat pack comedies, but it's sure as shit allowing him to do great as the heavy in the action hero era.

After watching the latest trailer for the upcoming Mission: Impossible film, I'm rooting for Henry Cavill.  The trailer implies he will be Tom Cruise's antagonist, and even as someone who has always liked Cruise an actor and enjoyed the M:I films, I don't care.  I am rooting for pornstache!Cavill (and Angela Bassett). Truly, I'd be okay with him stepping away from the Superman role permanently, since WB manages to get progressively worse with their films and the character. Alas, I suspect his character will be a one and done with the franchise, which is a shame, because it needs a new lead.

They have a new lead--Rebecca Ferguson!  (Okay, not really. It's my dream. Isla is my girl crush.)  I suspect Cavil and Basset will start out against Cruise....et. al. but by the end, they work together.

Spoiler

Kind of like the way Isla was in the first movie.

I haven't seen Henry Cavill in a lot of movies, but while watching the MI trailer, I thought he looked even more muscular than he did as Superman.  I'm definitely interested in MI for him and Tom Cruise, who, like you, I've always enjoyed as an actor.

I watched a double feature of Captain America: The First Avenger and Captain America: The Winter Soldier last night and fell in love with Chris Evans all over again, AND Steve Rogers. And I watched Avengers the night before that. Two of my favorite lines that always make me laugh and howl respectively:

Steve to Hulk: "Hulk...Smash." ??And that grin of anticipation by Hulk before he goes and finds Loki, and we get the next one:

Hulk smashing Loki around like a rag doll..Loki whimpering, and Hulk walking away, muttering: "Puny God."????????"????

I'm kind of girl-crushing on Cate Blanchett right now.  I've always thought she was an excellent actress, but never found her particularly attractive.  However, after seeing Ocean's 8 ?  She is hot in that movie and I love her characters calm, cool manner.  Everyone who has asked me how the movie was gets  "it was fun" as a response, but in my mind, I follow it up with "And Cate Blanchett was hot!"

I thought Awkwafina was hot.

I feel like this is more of a "he is not that articulate" vs. "he is a terrible person" kind of thing but still... why can't we just have nice things?

God damn it, the world is terrible. Just let me have this one thing. Maybe just no one ask him about metoo ever again.

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with Cavill but daaaaaamn... no one can argue he ain't pretty.

Also, Angela Bassett with Diana Ross hair is doing something to me....

I'm not sure where to put this because I'm not really crushing on the guy, but I also have no idea if it's an UO.  I don't find Adam Driver all that attractive, but there's something appealing about him as an actor (at least for me).  Maybe it's a sense of calm that I get from him?  A laid back, easy way?   I don't now, but there's something.  I'm finding myself more and more interested in whatever movies he's in.

So I've been low key crushing on Anthony Mackie since CA: The Winter Soldier but since Infinity War has come out I've fallen down the rabbit hole of press on youtube and I've come out of it with hard core crushes on Mackie and Sebastian Stan. I'm a goner now. They should do all of their press together till the end of time, even if they're not in the same movie. I ship that bromance hard.

They are probably not well known enough, but I would love for them to co-host SNL together to promote Avengers 4.
"Which way is the beach, Sea Bass?" I've been trying to find the complete interview of that one. Also the one with Seb, Sharon Stone, and Zach Woods. I've found most of it, but I really need to see it in its entirety.

I don't know, Tumblr seems well acquainted with them. ;)

Also, if you're interested in Sebastian Stan please do yourself a favour and watch The Bronze where he has the single most hilarious/awkward sex scene in the history of cinema.

was watching the the 1994 western Bad Girls last night, and it's an utterly ridiculous, shoddily made movie... but, wow, why do I always forget how impossibly gorgeous Madeleine Stowe is?? She definitely falls under the category of "Too Pretty to be Real".

Yeah, it's a shame Madeline Stowe botoxed the fuck out of her face during the time she was filming the Revenge t.v. series. I get that she was having to have scenes where she was playing 20 years younger, but still. I wonder what she would've looked like if she had been more natural with her aging.

I watched Halloween H20 again and it reminded me of how hot Josh Hartnett was in that 1990's stoner skater boy way. He doesn't really do it for me now, but back at the turn of the century? Man.

Colin Farrell. Still Colin Farrell. I’ve recently started watching some of his Irish films, and he is hilarious as a comedic actor. His performances are much better than when than when he plays a brooding American detective/soldier etc. And his Irish accent is hot.

I like him more after this conversation he had with Hugh Grant they did for Variety's "Actors on Actors" last year. He's more articulate and grounded than I thought he'd be:

In some way, he reminds me of some (slower? sleepier? stoner?) version of Eric Balfour, who I first saw in Six Feet Under (and HE was totally crushable).

I just watched "With Honors" again-came out in 1994, which was the year of my sister's senior year and I was super young but I remember those years well!

Anyways, goodness Brendan Fraser is super adorable/cute in that film. It's a great homage to the 1990's and college life. And Patrick Dempsey is in it!

But I'm really here to speak to Brendan Fraser, because dang he's got the whole studious/crush on roommate thing going on!
