Shannon L. May 21, 2018 Share May 21, 2018 When I was 16 and Josh Brolin was 17, I was crushing on him after seeing Goonies. As the years went by, I forgot about him except when he starred in an occasional movie that I wanted to see, after which, I appreciated his talent, but that was it. This weekend, after seeing Deadpool, as we each approach 49 and 50 years old, I'm crushing on him again. It really compliments their very similar facial structures. Speaking of James, I thought he looked absolutely fantastic for his age in Sisters. Honestly, the best he looked in years. His character was nuts, but I did find him pretty hot in the original Amityville Horror. He rocked the SHIT out of the beard mixed with Michael Landon hairstyle: That is him at peak attractiveness, I think. He really pulled off that Brawny man look that was so "in" during the late 1970's. Josh didn't get his father's height, but we can't have everything. The rugged, brawny looks that he inherited from his dad didn't really serve him well in terms of getting leads back during the 90's and 2000's when everything was about the pretty boys as romantic leads or boyish manchildren in frat pack comedies, but it's sure as shit allowing him to do great as the heavy in the action hero era. 4 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/4040-movie-star-crushes/page/22/#findComment-4347351

ribboninthesky1 May 22, 2018 Share May 22, 2018 After watching the latest trailer for the upcoming Mission: Impossible film, I'm rooting for Henry Cavill. The trailer implies he will be Tom Cruise's antagonist, and even as someone who has always liked Cruise an actor and enjoyed the M:I films, I don't care. I am rooting for pornstache!Cavill (and Angela Bassett). Truly, I'd be okay with him stepping away from the Superman role permanently, since WB manages to get progressively worse with their films and the character. Alas, I suspect his character will be a one and done with the franchise, which is a shame, because it needs a new lead. 3 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/4040-movie-star-crushes/page/22/#findComment-4348769
