I don't like this arrangement Eric has set up; if it had been handled appropriately, and Eric had treated Quinn and Carter like adults who should be able to make their own choices, I might be able to accept it. As bad as that is, this stuff with Eric wanted a blow by blow accounting of "how things went" is beyond gross and off putting. The only thing saving it is Rena's layered performance, and her clear conflict about what is going on. 

I do have to wonder where we are going with this. I have no doubt that Quinn loves Eric, but she also loves Carter, and that is a passionate love, where her feelings for Eric border more on respect and appreciation for all that he has done for, and given her. They are muddying up the waters with Donna's continued love and desire for Eric, and I hope not, but they may have been chem testing Katie and Eric again. At some point though, Carter and Quinn are going to reach a point of no return, and Eric is going to be alone. Maybe that is what he really wants; maybe he just can't say goodbye to Quinn, and is hoping her feelings for Carter will eventually supersede her feelings for him. 

What they need to do is let Eric seek help for his disorder, and make that effort on his own. I just don't see how watching Quinn coming home freshly fucked and glowing is going to assist in raising the cannon.

If that’s what Eric wants then he made a huge, selfish mistake in bringing Quinn home and calling off the divorce. Why go through all this if he believes she’ll eventually leave him anyway? He was wrong for not sharing his medical status as soon as he realized there was a problem and began seeing doctors. She should have been allowed to be there for him and allowed to be part of these decisions.

Brooke once again fails to see in herself what she sees in Quinn as far as what Quinn needs and what Quinn wants. Katie of all people knows that in Brooke. Brooke needed Bill and wanted Bill so she took him away from Katie even if Katie instigated it. 

Why are Quinn and Shanna talking about Eric and Carter in the office?  Didn’t they learn that the wall has ears?

Eric summoning Carter to the mansion was some shit. 

Straight out of some antebellum novel.

Telling Carter he knows he slept with Quinn the previous night. Like he's some king or all-knowing god. Or a "master." His tone dissecting the details and taking away anything special or beautiful about it and just making it about pure lust, like two animals rutting because nature has called.

Then this comment: "Despite the feelings you have for her, you must never consider Quinn to be yours."

Well, first of all, Quinn is not a possession. That he would even say that shows their marriage has become completely toxic. And not that Quinn didn't contribute in that regard, but just because her infidelity with Carter wasn't a deal-breaker, apparently, for Eric, doesn't mean it can't be for her now. 

And second, how fucking dare you? 

It's all about control with Eric. 

And third, Carter is a person. A MAN. A human being with feelings. He is not a penis for Eric to use vicariously in some sort of cuckhold fantasy.  

Carter just standing there and taking it like a whipped animal. When I think the optics cannot possibly get any worse, TIIC manage to sink to a whole other level.

Since it apparently needs saying - TIIC - we are not on a fucking plantation and this isn't 1821.

Ive never seen such universal backlash to a story. At least with Beth's kidnapping there was a light at the end of that tunnel that came relatively quick for that type of story but where's the ending here?

I now think that the writers are indeed chem testing Katie and Eric again. Katie is all of a sudden being very protective and kind of possessive of Eric. Like out of nowhere. Another indicator was Brooke giving Katie the third degree about going over to Eric's house the previous evening. WTH business is it of Brooke's? She seems to have forgotten that Katie and Eric are neighbors. Brooke seemed almost jealous and at first I thought maybe it was because of Donna. But I think Brooke has appointed herself as lead meddler in Eric's life and there is no room for Katie!

A Katie/Donna/Eric triangle sounds even more problematic than what we have going on right now.

I can't shake the feeling that Eric is playing some kind of long game here. That's the only reason I can come up with for why this hackneyed SL manifested. I am actually happy that Carter didn't dignify Eric's words with any kind of response. It was either keep quiet or laugh in the old man's face. And I think Carter's going to have the last laugh here. (Fingers crossed!)

That is a conversation Eric should have had with Carter and Quinn before entering into this arrangement. So no Eric, you don't get to dictate how Carter can feel about "your wife." The fact that Eric waited until after they had sex to lay these new ground rules on Carter spells out a whole different scenario. Making sure he let Carter know he has feelings for Quinn makes it smack of revenge and payback. Here boy, you can fuck my wife till the sun sets, but don't you dare think you can have her. Like Quinn is nothing more than a possession, and Carter is some sex machine. OMFG! So repulsive. I just cannot understand why they would want to take Eric in this direction. For me it is destroying the character. 

They are also destroying Brooke, the only other remaining core character. Once so dynamic, and compelling, and exciting, now the character has been reduced to a hand wringing, nosey nelly, bossy britches, bullying nag, whose sole purpose in life is to be Ridge's doormat. 

I am crushed and I am heartbroken. I hate all of it. 

Katie needs to butt out too. To answer your question about "am I missing something?" Yeah, Katie, you are, you're missing that Eric and Quinn's marriage is none yo business. 

Quinn is out and Eric is home alone! Holy cow, let's call in the Wet Bandits for some fun or something. I mean, let us make something out of nothing. Listening to Brooke and Katie carry on about that was mind numbingly annoying. Maybe Quinn was out to dinner with Shauna. Maybe she was over with her son and his worthless fiance. Maybe she was doing a late night munchie raid at the local convenience store. 

And there is another thing. Why is Eric wanting to keep it all a big secret. He didn't care that anyone knew about his issues when married to Donna. It is almost like he is deliberately stoking Brooke and Katie's fires, by letting them know that he is all alone and Quinn is out, but he is good with that. He knows how they are, and that they will draw all the wrong conclusions. So he is purposefully egging them on. 

Disgusting. All of it. I hope Carter and Quinn give Eric their respective middle fingers and take their hot asses off into the sunset.

I have been watching B&B since the late 1970s. There's been some bizarre, weird, and flat out ridiculous story lines on this soap.  But this Carter, Eric & Quinn is nasty.  The Eric Forrester character being a Cuckold is a new low for the producers of B&B. If they want to do a PSA - stoyline about erectile dysfunction do it in a respectful way.  The Carter Stud service for Quinn is not fitting for a daytime soap.  There's a lot of under 18 year old children watching TV while doing the "distance learning" thing.

Just waiting for Donna to come over to Eric's mason with a truck load of honey.  That will get the honey bear's paw back into Donna's hive.

and . . . . Paris told Carter how shady Zoe was liking Zende. Now Paris kind of doing the same shady going after Finn. Paris knows he's Steffy's man. smh

Quinn and Carter lock the door to the design office which is worse than leaving it open, Katie breaks the land speed record in getting from FC to Eric’s house, and Katie asks where is Quinn when she was basically within feet of Quinn at the office. 

Katie doesn’t understand the concept of a working day. Katie thinks that Quinn should be home, with Eric, is more important then working. I guess that’s the concept all the Logans have. It’s better to sit around and gossip, even at the office, and pass judgment than actually do work.  

Oh I can’t wait for all those budinskies to find out it was Eric’s idea and have to eat 4 and 20 blackbirds baked in to pie and than those blackbirds will eat off their nosy noses.

I'm not too worried about the children tuning in. I was a teen in the 2000s and my generation found the stories dated even then. Apparently, kiddos thought it was ridiculous that two wealthy teen boys in LA would be fighting to be daddy to a little boy that neither had a claim too. Who knew? xD

Hayes can walk and run already?  Stuffy did say chasing after the kids not kid right?  Who else beside Kelly and Hayes?  Both Douglas and Beth where with their fathers.
