I agree with everyone else that it’s not so much that we are opposed to Quinn having an affair with Carter, but that the way it is being written is cringe inducing. The constant objectification of Carter over the years instead of giving him a real storyline is horrible. I’m happy for the actor that he has had the opportunity to be front and center of storylines as of late, but his relationship with Zoey and now with Quinn has just not been written well. I know Covid has played into some of the issues, but they are capable of more.

I don’t get why Eric allowed Quinn to move back into the house if he wasn’t ready to work on their issues. When he invited her back he acted like he was ready to forgive and forget and now he won’t even cuddle with his wife. Damn you show for trying to make Quinn a sympathetic character.

Hope was complaining that Liam was doing too much by sending all the gifts and calls, etc and now she wants to complain that he stopped. Why is show also acting like he hasn’t been around in forever? I think it’s unbelievable that Liam would give up time with his kids even with everything going on. I also want to complain about the constant jokes about Liam’s masculinity (“it’s probably all the soy he eats”) as if there is only one way to be a man. It’s not a good message to send. 
 

This show is so frustrating with their redemption of Thomas and acting like he’s a great father all of a sudden. This is the same guy who tortured  his kid with nightmares to manipulate Hope.

I can’t take much more of whiny Liam. I wish Bill would smack him up beside his head. He’s so annoying. 
 

They are really pushing LSV as the slab of beef for B&B. He’s been a glorified extra and on call priest for years and now they put him on contract for this. It’s kind of insulting. We all know he’s in awesome shape but now after all these years it’s naked Carter 24x7. I’m just glad he wasn’t giving Zoe the time of day and she will be soon leaving but it’s pretty obvious where the show is going with Quinn & Carter. The worst part of it is that’s being done during COVID where neither will actually be able to touch each other which will be all the more awkward. I guess LSV’s wife will be soon be sporting a Quinn wig.

I'm realizing that I might be more of a fan of the actress herself than the character, but I'm about done with Hope.  She can't possibly have any doubt that Thomas is still aiming for her after today and his lame ass nice guy pickup lines.   I really understood where she was coming from up up until right about now, and that she wasn't so much upset that Liam stopped sending her gifts and crap, but just the extreme and sudden change in his behavior. But now she actually seems just interested in getting attention, if she's gonna put up with Thomas- of all people- like this.  Or at best having some facade of a happy family, but that's not much better.

In a way I feel like I should on some level feel sorry for Liam, because it was in fact an accident through no real fault of his, and Bill put him in a terrible position.  But I can't.  The constant crying and sad facing.  Letting Bill speak for him like he's a little boy.  IT's a bad situation, but by now DO something.  Pick a lane instead of just passively revealing your own guilt.  This is like the zenith of his Waffle personality on display here.

Exactly. I've often compared him with Y&R's Sharon, but even at her lowest points, even she had glimmers of agency, like choosing to date Adam despite everything and hiding the fact that the baby she thought she had with Dylan was (presumed) Nick and Hammertoes' kid (I cannot remember the characters actual name bc she was there for maybe a year). And even for Sharon Case's bug-eyed performances, Sharon Newman kept her cool better than Liam, who is supposed to be a sane person.

Damn, those Logan women get twitchy when their Spencer men don’t return calls. Katie rolls up on Bill to ‘check in’ when he’s MIA for two days and only texts. Hope takes Liam back after he bails on lunch and tucking in the kids one time. Is Flo gonna have Wyatt on a short leash too?

Of course we now get the laying it on thick of Bill’s devotion to Katie and Will now that we know he’s got a whopper of a secret and in danger of going to jail. Meanwhile Liam now has incentive to keep his mouth shut with Hope taking him back - but will that be enough? Liam’s conscience seems like it won’t let him enjoy the reconciliation for long. And you just know one day Thomas will visit and Liam will mistake him for Ghost Vinny and say something incriminating 🙄

Katie being involved means the secret will be out before you know it. Maybe Katie will turn Liam in to save Bill which would be an interesting betrayal to see play out.

I'm with Det. Sanchez. Vinny's having messed with the paternity test doesn't seem to me like a reason for someone to kill him. Everything about the baby has been made right, and Liam's marriage problems started when he got fooled by a mannequin. Liam's not psycho enough to murder someone who wasn't even involved in that. Nah, IMO it must be drug dealing- or some other criming-related, if not an actual accident.

Liam, you'd be better off taking Bill up on his offer to send you away for a while. Hope is relentless and she will get the secret out of you one way or another. Plus, your BFF Tom practically lives there now and you won't be able to complain about it.

Whoa, Liam and Hope actually hugged and kissed! No stand-ins and camera angle trickery involved. Guess AN and SC are both vaccinated now.

Zoe and her “outfit” were quite hideous today. The new designer wardrobe person that Brad Bell hired for the show really outdid herself. That thing was ugly in color and sizing. Hot mess alert. In fact, they (she) are dressing all the younger cast way OTT. All they do is sit around at Forrester all day wearing these clothes. It’s so ridiculous.

My first big dumping (for lack of a better word since we were never a thing to begin with) was my junior year of high school in '02, and I can tell you with certainty than even high schoolers would be embarrassed of the way Zoe acts.

Carter is an E Ride (old Disneyland reference)and Eric is a Zonk. 

I can’t believe why the Death of Vinny is becoming a Strauss Waltz.  Chief Hot Dog still doesn’t ask what Vinny was doing in Bel Air and Bill doesn’t give Liam an alibi for the time of the accident.  Chief Hot Dog just hears The Blue Danube playing in his head as he strolls around Bill’s office and trying to catch Bill off guard.

Quinn lamenting how Brooke always gets a pass, something I totally disagree with. I won't say Quinn was wrong in her accusation that Brooke has hurt those she is supposed to love, because for sure she has, but that is pretty much the sum of Brooke's "crimes". Brooke's type of criminal activity is far easier to overlook and forgive than yours Quinn my girl. I mean, Brooke does have lines she would never cross; kidnapping, attempted murder, rape, and outside of that, Brooke is not really a plotter and a planner. She doesn't orchestrate her criminal activity; she just goes with what her heart is telling her, and her wayward heart has lead her down some very painful and horrible paths. But she has never mapped things out, and she has never worked with someone to break the law and engage in faux marriages. The problem with you Quinn, is you are jealous. You do these absolutely ridiculous things, and expect understanding and forgiveness. In a way, you are just like Stephanie, who lived her live making Brooke's life hell, and always expected everyone to forgive her and understand her motivations. I am glad that Eric is giving you a cold shower. He forgave you for all the shit you pulled before he married you, and he forgave you for your affair with his son after he married you. I think Eric see's the Stephanie pattern starting, and maybe he is just tired of living his married life that way. So, tootaloo sweetheart.

Hope looks like she is dressing for third grade. And what is with the flaring sides of that skirt. And the boots do nothing to help the ensemble. 

I liked Brooke's dress, but that belt looked like it weighed about twenty pounds, and destroyed it. 

I do like Quinn's dress; RS is amazing in red. 

Carter wasn't wearing clothes again. And Eric is out of town. And Quinn is horny.

According to Worn on Tv it's a Balenciaga skirt and top set. Which just goes to prove, IMO, that couture is largely b.s. Eventually fashion designers start getting lazy and resting on their laurels. Plus, I don't think Zoe has enough height to pull that look off. She looks to me like she bought a Tall when she needed a Petite, haha.

Wow!  Liam travels lite. He moves in with his father and moves back home without even needing to transport his clothes.

Despite all his many flaws, Liam has been splitting his time between two families from day one of fatherhood and I'd buy him growing a spine before I buy him pulling away from his kids for any reason. Hope is once again turning into the fickle, selfish toolbar who wants to have her cake and eat it too and I hate it. Switch out Wyatt for Tom-ass and it's basically the same bullshit but with no sex appeal and even less emotional honesty.

Because (1) not true (Stephanie orchestrating Andy's rape of Brooke is but one example) and (2) when has Quinn spent one day in jail for her actual crimes of rape, attempted murder, kidnapping, assault, and some I'm probably forgetting (and she may have actually killed the Hope diamond guy whose name escapes me now)?

As someone explained earlier, Brooke has definitely dealt in her fair share of malarkey but the most 8ntentionally malicious thing I've ever recalled her doing is sending a "congratulatory" drink over to Macy and Deacon after they got the company taken from under her. Not a great thing to do to alcoholics, sure, but it's not illegal and Macy immediately dumped the drink on her head. Which is still more consequences than Quinn faced for kidnapping.

I'm figuring it'll end on a Friday cliffhanger, because it'll be "a shocking event that'll rock daytime." The first time Carter & Quinn had an alone scene together, they were setting the stage, & they were both batting bedroom eyelashes in yesterday's show. 2 weeks is my guess. I'm still saying, I hope it's a steamy, drawn-out, naughty, delicious affair. It's been too long, & no, Steamless rolling on the couch doesn't count. I'm honestly looking forward to this, & it's usually only $Bill that I look forward to watching.

So, I was way off on my date guess, but I'm not mad. I didn't take into account that it's Carter, & he moves fast. He'll probably propose by Tuesday. ;-)

Having said that...damn! That's the hottest scene this show has had in ages. I truly can't remember the last time the show was so saucy, even pre-COVID. Still, maybe? That was like 4 years ago. Wall sex? Shoulder kissing? Carter, I didn't know you had it in you. It was what I was hoping, delicious, naughty, hot, it was an elicit affair, or at least the beginning of one.

Now, Paris is totally going to walk in & catch them. I hope they sneak around for awhile, I'm thinking an affair like the Phlick (on Y&R) original affair. It was what I hope Carter & Quinn turn into.
