Apostrophe abuse!  It's not that hard--conjunctions and possessives. It's so common you can see this mistake on menus and even storefront signage. People paid for that mistake.

Well, I know she had a sister who died from cancer but something tells me she's only counting the full sibs and not any from other wives her dad might have had. 

Isn't it strange that Meri's mom never references the other wives that her husband had?  Also, do you wonder if Kody's mom and Janelle's mom still live together?

I love to garden so if it were me, I'd be growing all sorts of flowers and probably some veggies as well - heirloom tomatoes, lettuce, herbs, etc.  A chef's garden, like at the venerated MacCallum House in Mendocino. 

(Highly recommend this place btw - the free breakfast is amazing and Mendocino is lovely)

I totally agree about the yard being very blah, but to me it actually looks quite small.  The unsightly gazebo/patio area has to be right behind her, which just leaves this grassy area that isn't even made completely private by the hedge.  (Hi, neighbor's car!)  And that's not to say that small and intimate spaces can't be lovely, but this is just drab, drab, drab.

Lots of people in Arizona have second (summer) houses up in the mountains.  So that's what "getaway" house means here.  Just a place to get away.

Personally, I think the smartest move Meri could make would be to REALLY use it in the manner you suggest.  She needs to leave Flagstaff.  All of her happy pictures are when she's away from the "fambly."

That seems pretty expensive for a 4 day cruise - I just looked on the cruise website and rates start at 279 for an inside cabin per person and 359 for ocean view -cruise only rates . Is Royal Caribbean the official cruise line of D list celebrities like Meri and Whitney Thore ?

I wonder if a non-LLN person were to go on this cruise, would they spend 24/7 trying to get away from all the MLM crazies trying to get them to sign up?  Because that would be a living nightmare.

Also, if one is prone to seasickness, I'd imagine the plethora of headache-inducing patterns and prints swishing past on the Lido deck would make one feel much, much worse.

I'll pass, I have to rearrange my sock drawer (and if you know the movie this line came from, you are my spirit sister). 🙂

As a cruise veteran, I can vouch for the fact that Galveston is a good port.  Not as hectic as some of the larger ports, with good parking nearby.  We cruised out of there to Cozumel, Roatan, and somewhere else I can't remember.

Those are fine as well.  Living in Arizona,  we have to travel in some direction.  It just depends on where you want to go.  I doubt we'll be going out of Galveston again,  as we don't particularly want to go on the western Caribbean route again.  North to Alaska!
