REPENT! Let us not forget her BFF status with Carly AND the fact that she along with Nik inflicted Spencer upon the masses!

I agree with all of this.  My issue with Lulu is that she is not very smart in how she deals with Valentin.  Behaving like a hysterical harpy every time she sees Valentin is not going to help her get custody of Charlotte.

Only the crack GH "writers" could come up with a story where all the sympathy should lie with one character, then write said character so badly that the bulk of the audience roots for the villain.

They have done a great job crafting Valentin's viewpoint in their support of a killer/traitor getting custody in favor of its mother (who hasn't been in jail, institutionalized, or portrayed as evil).  That's what happens when the largest portion of the cast and resultant camera time is centered around a violent crime family and their assorted hangers-on - (lookin at you spinelli).  There are still only TWO doctors on contract (and one nurse) on a show called General Hospital.   There are another two doctors languishing in jail while the writers go out of their way to make a violent thug less violent.

What is the reason they havent show BM Jason's face since he was going into surgery weeks ago? Why are they only showing his hand? Has BM been on vacation or hiaitus or something? Are they trying to save $ by not having him be in the bedside scenes? Maybe, just maybe, I wouldn't ff thru all Sam's scenes if I actually SAW that she was crying over a real person. Or do TIIC think that by not showing his face, that when SB shows up we are all gonna go "theres Jason" and totally forget what BM looks like and that HE HAS BEEN JASON for like 3 years?

This. I get it, actually. Why have the actor there and have to pay him when he has no lines? Though I'd rather we not see anyone by Jason's bedside if this is how they want to handle it. Sam can cry anywhere. It doesn't have to be at Jason's literal bedside.

FFS, do Curtis and Jordan ever stop talking about whether or not to have a relationship?! I am so sick of hearing the same damn conversation from them. On Friday, they were on the docks, Jordan starts saying that she really wants a relationship, Curtis asks if she really means it...then Jordan's pager goes off, and she says we have to hear about this dead horse AGAIN when they meet up at Kelly's later? Before she jogs off, she cheekily tells Curtis that she's enjoying playing this game with him. I AM NOT ENJOYING IT. And this storyline can jog on. (Along with...maybe all of the other storylines too?)

And not to be outdone, we had to hear about Morgan some more. At the hospital, on the docks, haunting our dreams...

And another broken record --- the professions of love between Nina and Valentin.

Yet another --- if I have to look at that blasted picture of two (contemporary-looking) boys that Franco keeps whipping out, I swear!!

Sam's crazy-eyed protests about sending Jason to a nursing facility are so irritating.

The common thread among all of these storylines is that the writing lacks any sort of depth and creativity. There was a bit of effort made for Monica and Bobbie's conversation earlier in the week, but I guess that sapped the writers' energies for anything else. Episodes like last week's make me glad that I watch other soaps for my soap fix.

Because Kleenex is so expensive? Instead we'd rather see her wipe her snot on her sleeves.

I loved Monica's truth telling to Sonny. Too bad it was walked back so soon.

Jason: Not Sonny's fault, because he chose it.

Sam: Totally not her fault, even if she was under the influence of KittyPoop Syndrome. It's totally Julian's fault, because he's a lying liar who lies even when he doesn't say anything and it was Olivia who kidnapped Sam. Oh, it's also totally Ava's fault, even though she didn't know Olivia was alive.

Alexis: Totally Julian's fault for being the lying liar who lies.

Morgan: Totally Julian's fault and totally Ava's fault, has nothing to do with Morgan's choices, and we made it painstakingly clear by connecting the dots that it was never Morgan's fault.

I KNOW. He's so random and inappropriately involved with Lauren. Also, a gift basket with booze in it wasn't the smartest thing to send Lauren at the hospital, but it's not as if she ripped off the wrapper and started slugging down tequila from the bottle. Dial it back, Creeper.

The whole thing is so bizarre.  After an epic bout of joblessness, this young woman finds herself a calling/a direction...and the show immediately undercuts it by making us wonder if this guy is going to assault her?

And everything with Dr. Bensch has been so mishandled.  He premieres as part of Sam's storyline, but then not only doesn't factor into it again, the show pretty much pretends he never was part of it in the first place.  Then there was the random hitting on Jordan.  And now this whatever with Kiki.

I'm going to keep my eye to see if Dr. Bensch starts to pressure her into "self"-restricting her social life, first with Dylan, and then with her mother, and have her life "just" studying to be a doctor. Does Lauren have any other connections which Dr. Svengali* could sever?

* - "Berrrrrwyyyyyyynnnn!" No, I said 'Svengali'.....

Seriously. And it's not just Curtis and Jordan having the same damn conversation over and over, it's like the whole damn show is one continuous loop of the same bullshit over and over with no results, no furthering of any plotline, nothing moves on this show except for when anyone travels somewhere, then it's like they stepped in a portal in Port Charles and got out in Russia 10 minutes later.

Also, what the hell is going on with Anna and her Valentine obsession? Weren't we just here recently? I don't know why she's all over Finn, either I'm missing something or the writers have zero clue as to where any of this is meant to go, except for all Jason(s) and Sonny and Carly and the constant sobbing by Sam.

I've been watching this damn show for more than 40 years when I'd skip school and watch my triple play, All My Children, One Life To Live and General Hospital. In all that time, TFGH has never, to the best of my recollection, been this bad, this boring, this nonsensical, and just plain stupid. The only reason I'm hanging on is to witness the total destruction of my once (kinda) favorite show.

Are we supposed to think Jordan is being an unreasonable bitch?  Sure, her concern is a little ridiculous when you remember Sonny's son is her lead detective and is constantly the one investigating crimes his father is linked to, but her not wanting to date Curtis if he's going to be Sonny's new lackey makes sense to me.

Relatedly, Anna has proof via her blackmail of Dr. Michael Easton that Sonny facilitated the import of illegal drugs and she's supes cool with that?  Oh girl.

What's with the stock establishing shots? First we had Marrakesh, now we have St. Petersburg. It doesn't make me think those scenes are shot on location.

The new actor playing Franco's mom isn't any better in the role than James Franco's RL mom.

I don't want to hear Jordan whining about Curtis being involved with Sonny when she was the one who spoke in glowing terms about Sonny's relationship with TJ. Sonny is on the wrong side of the law, any association with him looks bad. She can't pick and choose what's acceptable and what's not.

This obnoxious, smug version of Anna is the worst. Blackmailing a guy who has been through some extremely rough life stuff recently and using his addiction against him is lower than low, especially since she's only using Finn to get to fucking Valentin. I've said this before, but she needs a hobby or a man and some fresh air far away from Valentin's orbit.

After being raised by weird ass Betsy and inheriting Heather's dysfunctional DNA, it's no wonder Franco is the way he is. LOL that Liz described Jason's reservations about Franco as "challenges." Yeah, Jason disputing a crazy serial killer's involvement with his son sure challenges Liz's delusion that her BF is a wonderful, upstanding man.

Shut up, Sam, and stop insisting you know better than the doctors. I should be able to feel some sympathy for her, but we've been so overexposed to her crying that all I feel is weary.

Anna's stories have gotten verrry repetitive.  A somewhat shady dude comes to town - Sloane, Paul, Valentin - who maybe is toying with Anna, maybe wants to sex her up, and Anna throws herself into investigating them.  It's tired.

Liz, Franco's mom kept baby Aidan from you. She is not "sweet."

It's beyond aggravating that the show doesn't have a doctor tell Sam that the reason they're tell her to move Jason is because GH is not a long-term care facility. Monica sort of did, but she framed it as needing the bed, not that GH isn't set up to deal with Jason's current condition. Of course it's critical care specialist Sonny Corinthos, MD, who gets through to Sam.

Why didn't stupid Franco just tell Liz and Scotty he was taking his mom home/checking on his mom?

Why is stupid Ava up mask guy's butt? She ask no reason to be curious about this man at all.

The actor playing that doctor was terrible.

Putting Dangerous Wheelchair Patient in the lounge where Ava practically trips over him so she can get warned how dangerous he is and how rich his family is an other example of how lazy the writing for the show is.  All I could think of was "if he's catatonic, how did he get to the lounge?"

It's like Anna getting these ridiculous and repetitive storylines and Sonny being the one to get through to Anna and everyone kissing his ring.  Is there no one on the writing staff who has the brains or the energy to actually write a story?

I kept hoping he'd grab her as everyone warned her he would, and he'd yell at her to stop staring. For someone who's so self-conscious about her mask, you'd think Ava would be a teeny bit more sensitive to others.

Bye, Finn, your butt should have left town with not needed non Hardy/Webber, HateChel.

Why is Anna or is this Alex up Valentine's butt, again?  Sheesh.  Anna needs something to do that does NOT require her to be sniffing around Valentine like a jealous ex.

Bwhahahaa.  Sonny and Sam should have grief sex!  Yeah.  I would go there in a heartbeat!

Elizabeth will never be able to get the stench of old man Franco off her skin.  Blech.

Loved Scotty and Elizabeth scenes, if only they were talking about Tommy Jr and Serena and not that stank Franco.

Sorry, but RoHo looks more like BH's father than her love interest!

It would be funny AF if the masked man in the chair was BM!....

Are we sure that's an extra playing Jakeson in the hospital bed? Not only do I not see a head, I don't see a torso either. I just see the bed and some arms. I figured they were mannequin arms until the fingers moved and then I started weeping about how the mannequin arms are coming back to us.

My mom's been in the hospital, so please forgive me if this has already been covered in length - I haven't been keeping up with this thread or even the show.  Has Billy Miller been fired, or is the show just too cheap to pay for him to lay in a hospital bed?

Is Franco going to be Jason's twin again?  And if so, which Jason - the "real" Jason or whoever the Billy Miller Jason is?  Since Monica has had Jason since he was a toddler, how in the world would he be playing with Franco as a pre-schooler?  Makes more sense if that's the Billy Jason.  Or even better - it's actually Franco with AJ.

Is Michael Myers Nicholas or Morgan?  What a mess if/when Jason, Morgan, and Nikolas all return from the dead.  It seems like they're hinting the creature in the wheelchair is Nikolas, but this stupid show would surely have Spencer be the one to figure this out.

If Nik returns, it'll be a recast since Tyler Christopher now has a job at Days. But I don't see that, anyway.

The doctor guy at The Boronsky Institute for Hunchbacks, Battered Wives and Burn Victims is badly acted indeed. I dread every one of these soap "foreign adventure" stories, because the day players always are instructed to talk with an accent, and it's always terrible. I had barely managed to wipe my mind of Tracy and Laura in Tofurkey.

I think we're supposed to get caught up in speculating that The Dangerous Psychotic is Morgan or Nikolas, because Ava has connections to those two (even though she and the writers are desperately overselling the brief, late one to Nikolas). But really it's going to be Jason. I mean, Steve Burton. He'll eventually take the mask off and that silent, inexpressive presence will...remain a silent, inexpressive presence, but with blinking.

How much more of the weeping, watering pot, blubbering Sam are we going to have to endure?  I have never been a fan of the character but now I have moved to the point that I cannot stand to see or hear her AT ALL.  When the character first came on the show she was an independent young woman of dubious character and ethics, then she fell in bed with Sonny and she turned into this groveling, whispering, self-righteous little piece of garbage.  I can't even begin to imagine how many snot filled tears she is going to shed when she Jason's face on someone else.

I'm torn between rolling my eyes and laughing hysterically at Sam's wailing about sending Jason "away to a PERMANENT FACILITY."  As if a. anyone said anything about it being permanent and b. shut up Sam.  I did laugh at the total 'huh?' look on her face when Sonny pointed out the kids would be living with Coma Man.  I guess she figured they could bunk at Monica's for the forseeable future.  Fahhhh-mily to Sam clearly means her, Jason and visits from Sonny, Carly and Spinelli.

Another boring episode:

Random plastic surgeon:  If they have a new method, why haven't they publicized it?   (No dear, if it was legit the question would be "Why haven't they published it?"  Also, if it's now possible to replace faces, conventional surgery should find those burn marks on Ava a piece of cake.)

How did the presumably Russian Boronski get his wandering French/German accent? Why is Blonde Handler walking around wit Ava's cell phone?  "Patient Six is Dangerous" -- so we leave him in the middle of the common room where anyone can set him off.

Sam has passed beyond "Obsessing" and into "Too Stupid To Care About".

Speaking of stupid -- Curtis.  He knows Sonny does illegal stuff and the fact that he offered to take Jason's place with the illegal stuff (including the hitman work?) doesn't excuse that he would be supporting the illegal stuff by helping Sonny at all.

I"m actually in favour of Anna blackmailing Finn into helping her.  At least it distracts him from walking around crying over Hayden all the time so yay.

Of course Franco's mother didn't tell him the backstory after they teased it on Friday. Those painting of Franco are really ugly.  No wonder everyone is talking about the mirror painting, it's the only one that doesn't look like it was done by a child with an Etch-A-Slktch.  Having Scotty agree to it being sold was so stupid and unnecessary.  I'm still not feeling sorry for Franco.

Why isn't he asking Monica?????

Are we supposed to think this sister of one of Franco's SERIAL KILLING victims was being a miserable shrew?  The man who murdered her sister is free and having fancy art openings and trying to profit off of work he made during that time period, her response makes total sense to me.  And of course, Sonny et. al continue to walk free, but the cops were Johnny-on-the-spot to arrest her.  This fuckin' show!

And Liz having no sympathy for the sister of a murder victim and instead declaring that she said "awful things" and rushing to comfort Franco's wubbies?  I really can't stand her anymore.
