I know some celebrities come on these shows to be relevant again but is it too much to ask they learn the game before they come on? Chris Katan was annoying.

Agreed.  Although, his reaction to "dancing too much" was pretty funny.  Also, their "good friend".  I'm annoyed.  I get this is celebrity feud so the rules are looser since they are playing for charity, but we were going to try out in Boston (had an actual appointment scheduled and everything) but we had to miss it because we didn't have enough family who could or would come with us.  We were short one person and wanted to bring my daughter's fiancee but because they're not married yet we couldn't.  Now we'll never know if we would've won!

I think they are more lenient when it comes to celebrity teams -- but a friend does seem to be stretching the rules a bit too far.  I thought many of the answers on both teams - McCreery and Katan -- were pretty funny.  Scotty's Fried Chicken and Boo Yah responses were the highlights, though.  And Grandma Paquita was adorable.

Question: "Name a way a man's sugar momma is different from his real momma."

Scott McCreery's answer "PDAs, Public Displays of Affection" matches (and wins the round) "French kisser."

Oh well, the Wizards behind the curtain, AKA "the judges," have been making calls like that since the 1970s Match Game so the "winners" will be ratings winners. That's show business.

He seemed so "off" to me that I looked online to see if he might have had some type of brain injury.  His whole demeanor was just weird.

His demeanor was just his schtick (which doesn't mean he couldn't also have ADHD or something), but it's not unusual for the celebrities to seemingly have missed the practice sessions, which seems to understandably annoy Steve.

Totally agree that Kattan was super=annoying.  I'm sure they give the "families" some practice runs before they shoot.

I was shocked when Fried Chicken got 11 points!!!!  "What's the first thing you think of when you hear the word 'boo'?"  "Ya!" was too funny!

Even if they miss practice sessions,  couldn't they watch YouTube on their phones in the dressing room to understand the game?

I was hoping they get to that answer! I wanted to see if it got any points.

Tonight's season finale is "The Kardashians vs. The West Family and Jana Kramer vs. Gary Busey", but it's listed as a new episode. I can't tell if this is just a repeat of the season premiere (cut down to 30 minutes) and then a second half hour that's new, or if they actually had unused footage from the Kardashians vs. Wests episode that they made into a new episode. It's probably the former I'm sure.

I didn't watch the "Kardashians vs. Wests" -- they didn't indicate it was new so I figured that was a repeat and FFed over to the "Buseys vs Kramers", which was fun -- Jana Kramer is a wee bit kinky, based on her answers.  And they got 200 points in 8 answers (despite Jana finishing "Drag _blank_" with "Me"!), so that was nice.

Chrissy Teigen was a drunken fool on the show.  I'm surprised they didn't edit out more of her ridiculous behavior.  And she's not that pretty, IMO.  John, you can do better!!! 😀

I'm always shocked that she's his wife. She acts like a fool everytime I see her. She is embarrassing.  I had to FF.

LVP and Giggy!  WhooHooo!  Boy I was a happy clam last night!  The only thing that would have made that better is Ken playing along as well.

The Vanderpump Rules cast can be fun to watch when they aren't being complete A-holes!

I don't watch Vanderpump Rules but before I started FF I was surprised they were so well behaved lol. I expected them to act like Chrissy Teigen or Brandi what's her name,  she used to be on RHoBH.

That was Puffy, not Giggy.

I was pretty bored by this one.  I spent a time trying to decide if there was a dog breed that is so lazy or so well behaved that you can lay it on a podium with all kinds of strange lights and noises and people and it does nothing.  Its not excited.  Its not shaking in fear.  Its just laying there.

I kind of think, despite LvP's cause de jure being dogs, that she sedated that dog so she could cart it around like an accessory.

I was wondering that too but LVP has all Giggy in front of the camera ALL THE TIME and in restaurant's, shops, etc. so I guess he's used to it *shrug*

This Sunday's episode is "The Chainsmokers vs. 5 Seconds of Summer" and is a replacement for the previously scheduled episode, which was the cast of "Black-ish" vs. the cast of "The Goldbergs". Looks like that episode won't be airing any time soon. I wonder why- maybe they're saving it for closer to when those shows premiere in the fall.

And why did no one tell me that Boris Kodjoe had a brother just as good looking as him?!

I must admit, I had never heard of Boris Kodjoe before tonight...and yes, his brother is a hunk also! I googled them and was surprised to learn that Boris attended the same college as I did, VCU on a tennis scholarship. Of course, this was many, many years after I attended!

Last night was the Bachelors vs the VS Angels and I just came here to say that I was super excited that one of the Angels, shut that annoying Eric down when he went in for a (cheap thrill) hug. Not everybody wants to, or should HAVE to, HUG another human being. It was so ridiculous.

I wondered if that was choreographed ahead of time.

I was impressed that the Angel in the first half of the Quick Round got 198 of 200 points. I've seen it before in the non-Celeb version, but a lot of the Celebs don't seem to bother to prepare, and she likely did take it seriously.

197 but it was super impressive. I believe Jaleel White got around the same number. I know he got all number ones. Always cool when someone nails all the questions.

Are you talking about the mom from the Asian family? I don't know who the celebrity in that family is. She was trying too hard. I had to stop watching as I was cringing so hard from secondhand embarrassment.

Yes. The "celeb" is named Jeannie Mai. Never heard of her. Apparently, she's on Holey Moley (that new mini-golf game show) and The Real

It certainly didn't help that Steve was egging it on and imitating her

I've caught her on The Real when home for lunch; she's a very personable communicator.

When an excited Maria Menounos hugged Steve from behind, and he started chanting "Me too, me too," I was both uncomfortable and amused.

I thought the category of "thick" and models was strange but why didn't they give them points for purse...the answer on the board was wallet but the guy said that he was referring to money...seemed strange to me because they usually give points for something like that.......oh, well....

Right!  There were at least a couple other times when they accepted something that seemed like less of a match.  "Sports coat" for tuxedo, for one.  Can't remember the others now.

It seems that at least every other episode of both current versions of the show something like that happens. On the non-Celebrity version they sometimes have the contestants come back "due to a technical difficulty" (which means the judges didn't rule correctly, but I guess it's legally better to say "technical difficulty," maybe because it implies they couldn't hear the response).

I often have the 45-year-old Match Game on while I'm working on stuff, and yesterday they actually explained the mistake the judges had made, but they never do that now.

I wonder if there are more errors these days because they have to get through a predetermined number of rounds in a finite time? There used to be more flexibility to "see you next time."

I don't like this show and the only time I watch is if there's someone I might mildly like--and usually just the final bit at the end.

That team couldn't think of any two better contestants than those two actresses cuz goodness they were terrible. Completely missing the pork/frog legs options?

So, so bad. Those fucking answers.

There was so much missing the point in general this episode. Hard to watch at times.

I like Dove and Sofia but I was yelling WTF at their idiotic answers for that question I mean seriously Frog legs and Pork/Bacon were so obvious! And at Least Dove said Stick after Lip instead of Injections like Sofia did

There was a question about what a man buys after a bad first date.  When the family gave their response, I heard "corn" and were congratulating themselves on such a good answer.  I was completely perplexed and wondered what the hell, but come to find out the answer was "porn".  Okay that makes sense.  I was wondering, for a minute, what kind of things people were up to these days.

Thank goodness, I wasn't the only one. When Camryn said she was playing with 4 men and they all said, Corn? I thought what the hey. Then I read it on the answer board. Porn was a good answer and I was glad they won because I like both Camryn and Milo!

I heard "porn," but then I had been silently yelling "Porn!" at the TV for 10 minutes by then.

I had never heard of Milo Manheim before. He's definitely every mother's dream: Handsome, smart, talented, personable, etc. If he wasn't born into an acting family, maybe he would've won a Nobel prize or become POTUS, heh.

I hadn't heard of him til he was on DWTS. He was so polite and mature acting and he was only 17 at the time! He should have won not taken second place(don't get me started on Bobby Bones!) Camryn did a great job of raising a kid among all the stuff going on in Hollywood. I loved how she said she wasn't a celebrity anymore, she was Milo's mother!!!
