  1. Tom Ellis is nominated for Lucifer Lucifer is a Comedy?
  2. I have no problems with Pen outing Marina - it is a dirty trick Marina was going to play on Colin. However, I do have problems with some of the things Lady W (aka Pen) said about Daphne. There were innuendoes about Daphne's virtue and character. Book Penelope is not as mean or cruel to the Bridgertons. Show Penelope is more vicious, just my opinion.
  3. Penelope is Lady W in the books - revealed in 'Romancing Mister Bridgerton". However, she is not as vindictive in the books as she is in the show. In the books, she did not target the Bridgertons as she did in the show. Show made her to be a two-faced friend and a cat.
  4. Of all the characters from book to show, I am most disappointed with Colin. Book Colin is charming, witty, and a hoot. Show Colin, so far, is very dull. Maybe it is the writer's fault. Maybe it is the actor's. I was really looking forward to seeing Colin on show and quite disappointed. Benedict, boring in books, is more charming and witty in the show. The Viscount Who Loved Me was my favorite of the books, so hopefully we can have S2 so I can see it alive - providing that they will not deviate much from the book.
  5. Stumbled on an old movie with Meghan Markle in it -- Dater's Handbook or something like that. She had a dog named "Duke". Somehow, I thought that was funny now that she is married to a Duke 🙂
  6. Don't understand the appeal of Chrissy Teigen. She was terrible on the game last night - drunk, talked over other people, and acted like a silly goose.
  7. Ding dong.. the jerk is out! I am so glad Adam is leaving the show. He is toxic to his contestants - it showed this season, even with the Cross Battles. People do have long memories of what he did last season. Not excited about Gwen but we will see how it goes. Don't want it to turn into the "Blake and Gwen Show", though
  8. Me, too. I was hoping Andrew would finish second. His voice is more unique than Gyth's or Dexter's. I was never Gyth's big fan and he totally lost me after his pandering. Glad Maelyn won, though.
  9. I actually like this ending - you should have been the writer for this last season. Make more sense that what D&D came up with.
  10. So, the showrunners rather have a man who hasn't done much be a ruler than a woman who has fought her ways through blood, fire, and tears. The way they destroyed all the strong female characters horrible. Oh.. and Brienne still mooning over Jaime? Seriously? Girl, he ran back to his first and only love - his sister... Urgh
  11. I am surprised Drogon didn't burn the whole scheming group of them for killing his mother - Jon, Tyrion, Bran, Sansa, etc. He could have burned them all.
  12. WORD!! D&D were determined to make Dany a villain so they force-fed us that narrative. Heck, by their standards, every single one of the surviving players of this "Game of Thrones" is crazy and ruthless.
  13. The way they assassinated Dany's character is unparalleled. I have never seen a TV character took a downward spiral that fast. Seriously, it has been insulting. I like Dany for all of her faults but to turn her completely insane like this is INSANE - on the writers' parts.
  14. Seems like all signs pointing to Dany not being the winner of the IT. The writers are setting her up to be killed, either by Jon, Arya, or Drogon.
  15. That's what irritated me about this - for the writers to make Dany suddenly so incompetent. This is the woman who has conquered nations! To make her forgetting one of the greatest threats to her army is laughable and insulting to us viewers. Also, made her flying Drogon straight to the fleet after Rhaegal was down? Seriously? And they couldn't see the fleet while flying high up in the sky? So many things upset me about the whole thing.
