She lives in a pretty cheap area and has a pretty plain and small home and then it's right off a pretty busy interstate it seemed. Maci is hung up on Ryan. It's just odd, she definitely doesn't seem to be in the right state of mind to be having another child with someone. The T&C and B&T showdown is just dumb, they obviously have some regret over giving up Carly. Unfortunately it's not B&T's fault. Notice that there are few pictures around, very little decor or window treatments...I don't know. I remember thinking in the first episode this season that it seemed like a cheap rental used to keep the locale of her home a secret. It does seem to be right off a very busy road and maybe beside some kind of gas station. Brandon seems like a very nice, normal guy. Teresa seems like she has a LOT of anger and sadness still pent up, understandably...I don't know. I have to say, Tyler did kind of have a point about B&T involving themselves in the media without the show or C&T dragging them into it. Tyler was very cute with Carly. I know he can be abrasive and fame-whorey, but considering the shit life he's had, I still think he's a rather decent dude. To be sure, these two are going to be trapped in the past without hope for freedom from their younger lives and choices as long as they stay linked with the show. It's sad. I frankly never thought of Gary as smart enough to be so purposefully cruel but that scene was so horrid. The glee he has in inflicting emotional anguish on his girlfriend, who is carrying his child is just sick. I didn't watch all previous seasons - if this is how he treated Amber I'm starting to understand why she goes from 0 - 60 with him . Not condoning it, but I think even sober Amber's not capable of using her words to describe the impact of his particular brand of mindfuckery. Poor leah - here's hoping he limits this behavior to his beavy of low self-esteem, emotionally stunted admirers and doesn't turn it onto his child. 20 Link to comment

All verbal communication would be done through them and he can sit there and be pretty all he wants, but I'm in it for Jen and Larry! They are hilarious. Died at Ryan's "Good luck" and his handshake. He knows what Taylor is in for. Tyler....just Tyler. What can we say about this entitled man child that hasn't been said before? Brandon and Theresa's classy "bitch, please" faces gave me life. They were too kind to him during his mini temper tantrum. I understand what he's saying about them putting her in magazines but he can't post a picture on twitter and their reasoning falls short, but I think it all comes back to the fact that it's their kid. Their choices. They can share and control what they want about their kid. They want a Carly billboard? Fine. Their kid, their decision. Tyler wants one? Not this kid or his decision. Also very kind of them to let the cameras be present but not show Carly's face. Nice compromise, because that's what adults do, Tyler. Take note. I liked that they gave them Carly's old things. They seem like good people who got caught up in this show and have to make the best of it. Carly's little voice is adorable. Is there a reason we aren't hearing the actual conversations that Amber is talking about? I thought they were required to put all calls on speaker phone but we never hear the gross things she claims Gary has been saying. I hope Kristina promptly packs up Gary's crap and throws it on the lawn after this episode. "I never said I didn't want the kid, I just said it was an accident and I wasn't ready!!" I mean it makes sense, they are Bentley's "other parent" since all Ryan seems to do is drop Bentley off with his parents and leave when it's his turn to have him. It's Ryan's parents that are instilling morals, values, enforcing rules, feeding/bathing etc. I thought it was cute that she was nervous to tell them bc she knew they'd be a bit disappointed at her having another kid without being married and that she felt bad that this kid wouldn't be any blood relation to them. I thought Larry's congratulations to her and Taylor was very real. I thing it's good for Bentley too to see his grandparents -- who provide stability for him -- think of his brother or sister as being a good thing, even if it isn't their real grandkid; I think it'll help Bentley accept the child that much more easily. Not sure what Ryan stormed off about -- I guess it was about not being with Shelby anymore -- but his parents seem so over it. Seeing B&T versus C&T -- you see how mature/ready B&T were/are to be parents in comparison to Catelynn and Tyler. When Tyler was throwing his hissy fit about social media, Brandon was totally calm and steady and while Teresa reacted a bit facially when he said -- when you don't explain why I can't post pics, I do it out of retaliation -- I think Teresa didn't say anything bad. It was good that Brandon pointed out that they have NEVER threatened to close the adoption and Teresa said -- well, we're here. I think Catelynn is 95% of the reason that B&T haven't closed the adoption. You can see Teresa and Brandon even can "feel" a little bit of the mom's pain in giving up her child and they don't want to "punish" her for giving them a child by totally cutting her out. I though the scene where Teresa hugged Catelynn and said she would love her child so much seemed pretty real. Part of me wonders if B&T are a bit relieved that C&T are "moving on" with another child because maybe they'll be a bit too "busy" with their own kid to be posting videos about Carly. I mean they haven't made themselves busy with anything in the last 6 yrs -- school, work etc. -- so they have all the time in the world to be thinking about their social media profile and every so often Tyler realizes that they are probably slipping in the public's awareness, and out comes a new Carly video. Maybe with their own family, they won't have the time or even if they have time -- they can opt to post pics of their own kid. 6 Link to comment

When Brandon mentioned that they have never threatened to close the adoption and Theresa said something like well that's why we are here, it made me think that maybe off camera more was said about what will happen if Tyler can't control himself. Also I don't agree at all with his point about their decision to do a magazine article. He keeps mentioning that to everyone like that's his big amazing solid point but like others said here, it's not the same because it is Brandon and Theresa's child and they can do WHATEVER THE FUCK they want with her. It doesn't mean Tyler can do it because they did it first. How does he not understand that?? Tyler is just so dumb and immature. I really really hate how he calls Carly "my kid." He really needs to stop doing that. What does Catelyn even see in him? He's a horrible person. Gary also is an absolute bag of shit. Who says to their current girlfriend "well it's true, no one knows what is going to happen!!!!!" Well yes technically that's true. Anything can happen that might ruin even the strongest relationship. But it's still nice to be confident in your love for someone or express that you love someone enough that you want to be with only them. hes acting like oh well no one can predict the future so since none of us are psychic that means anything could happen!!! ghoulina April 21, 2015 Share April 21, 2015 Surprise, surprise is right! I was surprised that Gary actually knocked Tyler off the top of the douche pyramid last night. I mean, I wasn't surprised that Gary was douchey, just surprised that Tyler wasn't MORE douchey. But yea, Gary with his sexual harassment of Amber and utter dismissal of the woman who takes care of his child daily, just made me ill. Who does he think he is? He is such a disgusting, nasty pig. I cannot see how he could get one girl to cry over him, let alone two. Kristina, run for the hills, girl! But yea, the meeting between C&T and B&T went SO much better than I thought it would. I was actually kind of let down, because I wanted to see Tyler get taken to task. But Teresa (who did most of the talking) was very gracious, while still being firm about the pictures. It did annoy me when Tyler brought up them doing their own interviews and putting pictures out there, almost as if he was calling them hypocrites. I just can't see it that way. They're the parents, they choose what pictures to share and with whom. Period. But other than that, Tyler really toned it down, and I'm glad they can keep things going....mostly for Catelynn's sake. Oh, the other thing that annoyed me, was before the meeting took place, Tyler kept saying, "I can't wait to see my kid". MY kid. I don't know....maybe that is how parents that gave up a child think of them, but it just sounded off to me. It gave me the impression that Tyler really thinks Carly is HIS, and they just outsourced the raising of her to B&T, like she's at boarding school or something. Not much to say about Maci's segment, other than I kind of love her relationship with Jen and Larry. Like others, I wonder where Maci's parents are, why they aren't being shown. Do they just not want to be on TV? Or have they become estranged for some reason? Maci mentioned telling her Grandma about the pregnancy, but has said nothing about her own parents or how they took it. But I like that she thinks of Ryan's folks as second parents. Since Ryan is such a prick, it's nice that she can have a good relationship with Bentley's grandparents, outside of him. And Larry was just so cute with his, "Why would we be disappointed?" He seems like such a nice dude. And I loved when he told Ryan, "You argue with everybody!" Exactly! He has some serious issues, because he really can't get along with anyone - parents, girlfriends, ex-girlfriends. He even pitches a fit when his 5-year-old says something unflattering. It's not them, it's you, buddy. And speaking of nasty - the return of Farrah! Wow, she was such a jerk to the crew. I mean, I guess I can understand her being hurt about how things went down. But if your pride was wounded that badly, why acquiesce? What I would have done would be NOT come back on the show. Stick it to them, and watch their ratings suffer. The way she looked at Tyler when he was saying if he was told no posting of pics without a reason, he was gonna do it anyway was so sad. Hes a petulant child. I almost expected him to cross his arms and hold his breath. Cate knows that if he doesn't get his bullshit in check she is going to lose Carly again. She really doesn't have the self esteem to stand up to him. What is so terrifying to these girls about standing on their own two feet? All of the eir worth is wrapped up in having a man. Well, boy. Why won't Tyler see that he doesn't have to understand or agree with B&T? It does not matter if he thinks it's unfair that he can't post pictures. It doesn't matter if B&T tell him not to do something and don't tell him why. An open adoption does not mean this is ongoing transaction open to negotiation between the parties, with either party deciding to change the terms at any given time. Brandon and Teresa need to feel comfortable, that they have control over how much is out there about their child, and where. The way Tyler goes about it is also very self-serving, IMO. He's trying to garner likes, whereas Teresa shared that when she does press it's because she wants to have a platform to speak about adoption. I think they probably don't mind a few shots of Carly being out there (as they choose), but they don't want her to become overexposed, on some fan site for instance. He always appeared to be the victim of Amber's physical and verbal abuse but what they showed from him was straight up emotional abuse towards both Amber and Kristina. There is no excuse for Amber's reaction but he is not without blame. He has no business blowing up her phone messing with her head while he has a girlfriend who is carrying his child. She has a bad temper and just flips out at the slightest provocation. Gary is more of a measured, controlled asshole. He strikes me as one of those people who knows how to push someone else's buttons, get them to attack him, and make himself look like the victim. I love how Ryan's mom outted the real reason they broke up Comment on Gary and Amber, tonight's episode showed a side of Gary that they haven't shown us before. He always appeared to be the victim of Amber's physical and verbal abuse but what they showed from him was straight up emotional abuse towards both Amber and Kristina. There is no excuse for Amber's reaction but he is not without blame. He has no business blowing up her phone messing with her head while he has a girlfriend who is carrying his child. I can't say that I wouldn't lose my cool if someone was intentionally messing with my emotions.
