I would love it if it turns out that Paige is Eve and Frankie's daughter. Frankie's daughter dating Jennifer's son? Priceless.

Marlena: I am going to go talk to my patients who don't run away from their problems even though I am, quite obviously, running away from what you said to me about your feelings and issues with me.

Hello, Marlena, it's the pot, you're black.

Marlena is such an idiot and made no sense with that comment about patients running away from their problems. Yet she was a mother running away from her own daughter, which I found to be a lot worse. Whatever Mar.

WTF Sami, saying out loud that you will kill Kate? STFU Sami.

Dannifer just end it now and forever, I just can't with their boring drama and their boring angst to try and make this couple work but it just doesn't. Hate to say it but Jenn did have a point on Dan covering for Nicole, all he did was threaten Nicole with telling Eric and he would have kept giving her chance after chance and he gets all pissy and says Jenn doesn't know him. Not so nice when you're called out on your own shit is it Dan the 2nd Coming. Get over yourself.

T is so cute and Gabi was an idiot to not go on a date with him, in favor of hanging out with Nick. Dumbass. Things may have turned out a little differently if she had dated T, yea Nick would be there stalking and all that but whatever I'm sure T can hold his own against Nick.

Jordan continues to be a boring twat, her relationship with Rafe is just beyond boring.

It wouldn't score her any maternal points, but I really wish Marlena would tell Sami to get the hell over it. So she saw John and Marlena getting it on...Nicole's dad forced her into porn, Adrienne's father raped her, Jack's was a god damned serial killer. Relatively speaking, Sami had it easy. Boo freaking hoo, her mom is cold and uncaring and cheated on her dad. You live in Salem, Sami....it should take a lot more than seeing your mom banging John Black to set you on that path of self destruction you've blazed for yourself.

Yeah that would be totally out of character for everyone and anyone in Salem. Plus, Eve was always a great bad girl. Why ruin that???....Oh wait, the current writers don't know how to write good villains so they probably will ruin that.

Yeah that would be total bad writing. So it will probably happen. I think Shane at least needs to make a cameo when Eve returns.

Very strange about TruePaige since JJ seems to have known about her since he came back. So TruePaige has only been in town briefly or her mother hasn't had contact with her daughter for how long?

It would be great if Eve returned as a good mom but not necessarily all that good of a person to those outside of her circle.  Let her be a conniver, let her be a bit of a badass, but let her be a decent mom and a decent friend or sister when it comes right down to it.  The show definitely does NOT need another total bad girl like Theresa is presently, and the show doesn't need anything like a Jenn or an Abigail.  How refreshing it would be if she's the kind of character, if she is Paige's mother, to call Jenn out on her hypocrisy and maybe not think her kid is good enough for one of Jenn's.

There are good possibilities, and with Kassie dePavia in the role, well, she's pretty fantastic and could do whatever they lay out for her.  Now what I'd like, while I'm daydreaming, is for her to team up with Victor in some scheme or another.....

Paige being new to town is new to me.  Considering that she has established both friends and enemies she seems like we were supposed to see her as a longterm Salem resident.  Oh well, that's changed.

I actually think that the broken relationship between Sami and Marlena is as close to the show has come in yeeeeeeeeaaaaars to protraying a realistically screwed up family dynamic. I'm disappointed that everything for Sami seems to come back to her mother's relationship with John (but I can see how she might find that traumatic). Sami has tried to have a different sort of relationship with her own children, with varying degrees of success -- and not insignificant but unintended repetitions of her mother's mistakes with her. I do think Marlena is too close to her own tangle of disappointed hopes, failings, guilt and recriminations to respond with any real insight into their dynamic. Does that make her a hypocrite? Maybe; or maybe it just means there's a reason why therapists don't see family members in any professional capacity. In any event, it's a more realistic story, for all its frustrations, than the norm for this show -- by which I mean things like amnesia via head-bonk, recidivist rapists marrying their true-love-slash-targets, and long-form studies of the moral and ethical implications of sex-dart poison delivery systems.

That doesn't mean, however, that I'm not giggling like a maniac at the "It was for SCIENCE!" outbursts. Because I am. Obviously.

So I see Dandesun has gotten into your head too, huh?  And isn't it great?  I now can't see Marlena in any interaction without picturing her dicating her thoughts or scribbling notes.  All that botox probably helps.

I agree with you assessment on Sami and Marlena's relationship, and I'm glad that TPTB didn't decide to gloss over the obvious differences they have with each other and pretend everything was now okay.  Either the writers are smart enough to know that the audience knows that Marlena has flaws and knows we appreciate seeing them, or we're just getting lucky.  I've really liked it when we've seen Sami and Marlena go toe to toe and actually discuss the problems they've had, and I'm glad that Marlena isn't let off the hook.

But it's also clear to me that if she is the best Salem has to offer in mental health, then Nick or anyone else with problems doesn't stand a chance.

And lastly, the ever and everlastingly annoying PicklePuss.  She stands there with her goiter hair, smiling through the pain as she tells Dirty Dan that he lacks her moral character and lies and all I want to see happen is for him to pull out a custard pie and smash it in her face.  Jenn forgets that among all of the horrible lies Dan told, he also told a lie to KEEP HER KID OUT OF PRISON.  And she did the same.  I don't see her racing to Roman to tell him that JJ was with Theresa when she overdosed, or any of the other things he did when he was in his right mind and hated his mother.  Nope, that lie seems to be just fine with her.

And all this b.s. about Eric is just that.  She doesn't give a crap about him, but nothing gives her more pleasure than playing the morality card.  Running to tell Eric, someone she knows casually at best is almost nuts.  Telling her boyfriend that he's got the backbone of a snail and expecting him to thank her for it is even crazier.

I hope JJ goes and lives with Dan.  And worst of all, Jenn is making me sympathetic to HIM and that is just wrong.

Ugh, stupidest break-up ever. And the thing is... Jennifer was totally right about everything, which hurts me to say. But she was! And there's stupid ass, unsanitary Daniel getting all high and mighty about all of it and I didn't feel sorry for him a bit. And I didn't feel sorry for Jennifer even though she was right because she was so freaking mealy mouthed about it. And of course he walks out just as Eve is about to hit town.

I weep copious tears over that one.

Are we fucking done with Gabi yet? Or are they waiting for Kristen and Eve to show up so they can go visit her, too? Good LORD! Off with ye!!

Dan knows damn well he was never going to expose Nicole. How many times did she give him some bullshit about eventually telling Eric the truth but never did it? How many times has he lied for her before? If she had opened her stupid mouth his precious Jen wouldn't have been put in danger and he wouldn't have been shot yet he STILL gave her chance after chance. Yes, Jen needs to be murdered, and yes she probably had ulterior motives, but I'm just glad SOMEONE finally had the decency to tell Eric the truth.

I forgot to also add that Nicole will forever be on my shit list for saying God made her not tell Eric. When did God put a gun to her head and make her stop trying to tell him the truth? How I wish God would have morphed Eric into a woman temporarily so he could slap the shit out of Nicole for that statement. How dare she say something like that, nobody can blame God for their choices.

That struck me too. So now she’s suddenly the new girl in town?  Whatever writers!   And this is what bugs me about the writing these days. Paige hasn’t been on the show that long. Did they not know where they were going with her character??? Is this another Jordan where they hire the actress and then figure out what to do with her later?   I don’t understand why they don’t plot these things out better rather than making it up as they go along.

As for Eve’s return, I’ll freely admit I’m not crazy about them brining her back when the original actress wasn’t available. Yes, Theresa is in town but no one else in that family is so it’s not like the character was critical to a storyline.  Without CR on board, I would have rather seen them finally cast Andrew Donovan, who has never been shown as an adult and would help fill in that 20-30 age group.

I also don’t get the choice of Kassie dePavia. She’s like 53 in real life and for the most part looks it (or close to it). Has Shane Donovan now been SORASed to the age of 73???  Even when Charlotte Ross played the part their real age didn’t add up (CR is only 13 years younger than CS in real life and Shane was clearly over 18 when he had Eve) but CR looked younger, and still does so they were able to pull off Eve being a few years younger than CR’s real age and CS being a few years older than his real age.

Just when I think Nicole has sunk as low as she can, something like this happens.  I find Nicole completely revolting - there's nothing redeemable for her in this storyline and frankly, she needs to be killed off unless the plan is to make her into the town pariah (which she already kinda is).  AZ can be brought back as someone new.  The "God's Will" BS she came up with was beyond offensive for a man of faith (which Eric presumably still is).  And then she guilts Eric into saying he forgives her - I'm sorry, but what he did to her doesn't even compare to what she did to him.  She basically ruined any chance he had of returning to the priesthood, she destroyed his reputation, all because she "loved" him.  Gross.

When I compare Nicole to Kate, I realize the reason I love Kate is that she completely owns her bad stuff.  When she does something reprehensible and gets backed into a corner, she doesn't cry and play victim - she admits it - "yeah, I did it.  So what? "  Kate's got some big ol' balls and Nicole lives to play the victim.  I can't feel sorry for someone who creates her own mess and then tries to blame everyone else for the outcome.  What a dumbass.

Even if Jen exposed Nicole just to get back at her I wouldn't blame her. The whack job walked around with a dead baby inside her and tried to frame Jen for murder.

I cannot stand Jennifer so I'm automatically inclined to take the side of anyone she's fighting with.  I don't care if she was right, she overheard a conversation that wasn't meant for her and should've kept her big fucking mouth shut.  And her holier than thou attitude with Daniel was exhausting.  Yes, Jennifer, the paragon of truth who cheated on her fiancee when she fell for Jack.  Tell me again all about being manipulated by someone you love....*cough*Peter*cough*

And for the love of God can someone put MR in a jewel tone with some makeup that doesn't make her look like she's dead?  Someone pointed out a few days ago how much her neck strains when she's trying to be emotional and now I can't unsee it.

Yeah, she's not at all rootable here. <shallow> If she had better hair I might feel a wee bit sorry for her <shallow>.   I don't know what they're doing to her character, but Nicole has been pathetic for a long time now.  Hopefully this is rock bottom.  Perhaps her actions and God-is-responsible rationalizations will circle back to her never getting over the loss of her baby?  It's sad that she has no family in town, that Dan and Rafe are her only friends, that so many people can't stand her, and that she never, ever learns from her mistakes.

IDK.  Maybe it would be better to just kill off Nicole and have AZ come back as someone new.

I cannot stand Jennifer so I'm automatically inclined to take the side of anyone she's fighting with.

I agree with this as well.  Jennifer is a prissy little princess who is no stranger to manipulating people, either.  She needs to go far, far away, along with her daughter.

Why didn't Jennifer just go to Nicole and tell her to go tell Eric? Did she present that as an option to Nicole? Although I'm inclined to think Nicole wouldn't have told anyway. I'm torn....once she brought God into the conversation, I went uh-oh. What the....Nicole?

Maybe this storyline is a little too stupid for words, but I felt AZ's crying with Daniel was a bit funny....or maybe even bad? Not necessarily bad in execution, but the overall acting of the scene seemed.....well, I didn't like it that much.

I'm a little annoyed at Jennifer that I had to ponder Daniel's words and think he had a point. Maybe those who use less conditioner on this show have better verbal reasoning skills? I felt he articulated his point well. Who knows if he would have actually followed through, but once he said his piece, I did wonder why Jennifer didn't go to Daniel and see if he would play out his point instead of jumping the gun.

I'm inclined to think Jennifer did the right thing in telling Eric, but once she started talking about Daniel and Nicole and got shrieky, I wondered for what reason she did it. And I'm not of one of those people who generally finds Jennifer particularly manipulative in anyway. Nonetheless, the shrieking about Daniel and Nicole's relationship struck me as odd.

I think I'm ready for Paige to be recast. All of Abby's boyfriends get recast. Why not JJ's?

Finally something decent to come out of this Nick murder storyline -- EJ throwing major shade on Rafe when talking about how he doesn't believe a parent should be separated from their child.

Jordan is still boring.

The conversation between Sami and Marlena went by too fast for me to figure out who was right or wrong, if there is anybody like that in this debate -- all I remember Marlena saying was something about patients who have problems, and then I wondered if Marlena would be a tad nicer to Sami if she actually were a patient. (Not saying Marlena has to be super-nice considering what Sami has done, but since Gabi actually did the same things and then some, I figure Marlena could spare some of that same bedside  manner for Sami).

The best thing about Nicole blaming God for her actions was Eric's utterly gob-smacked expression at it. It really was just 'Are you seriously playing this card?!' Nicole was so unbelievably desperate that it rounded into farce. "God made me do it! No! Food poisoning! I ate a bad clam! I was on my period! I had skipped my period! Dark wizards forced me to repeatedly not tell you the truth! I swear!! It was Voldemort!!"

Here's the thing about the Daniel/Jennifer fight... I honestly could not care less who was in the right. Daniel's an idiot because he kept giving Nicole chances and his insistence that he would have told Eric doesn't mean much when he never actually did AND Nicole was all set to avoid and run away again when she went and found Eric after Jennifer spilled it. She had run to Eric all 'Daniel has gone insane!!' and got the handy-dandy soap opera trope of 'tickets leaving right now out of this tiny regional city that has an international airport... what?' They were out of there because Daniel couldn't stand by and monitor the situation due to the convenient 12 car pile up (that involved absolutely no one in Salem - how is that even possible? I'm convinced it was Matchbox cars.) that required him to save lives..

Jennifer whining about how Nicole's lies were hurting Daniel was abhorrent but, you know what, she told Eric the truth and Eric deserved to know the truth. Sure, this is now more about Daniel feeling like his woman thinks he's amoral (he is) or easily manipulated (he is) than anything to do with Eric or what happened to him but I'm just happy that Eric knows the truth about what Kirsten did and has that proof. I know it's way too much to expect to see him go to Brady with said proof to clear his name so Brady will, maybe, stop hating him but I live to dream.

While I don't care if Daniel/Jennifer are together, it just grieves me that it so obviously happened so that Eve can get shot immediately at Daniel's junk. I mean, God forbid they maybe let her find some footing in Salem before Dr. Inappropriate starts sniffing around her lady garden.

I despise Jennifer with all my heart and more than anyone else, I wish they would kick her vanilla cookie self off the show.  BUT I don't blame her for yapping to Eric.  I think she probably heard the Eric Secret and thought "that bitch who accused me of killing her baby - there she goes again with her lying, manipulative ways" and she was absolutely right that Nicole wouldn't have ever said anything to Eric because that's the kind of gal she is.  I think Daniel should be rightly pissed off that his beige girlfriend went behind his back and then had to gall to say he would continue to lie about The Secret but I don't feel sorry for Nicole AT ALL.  She's a dumbass that reaped what she sowed.  But honestly the best thing about all of this is that it might finally FINALLY end the nightmare that is Dannifer.

I really think it would do Dr Dan some good to spend some alone time reflecting on his poor choices.  I really don't mind Daniel when he's on his own, but I'm kinda tired of him as the Town Stud.

I am absolutely certain that if she thought it would work, she would do it.  Which means it will happen while she's crying and sobbing and pleading and acting with zero self-respect and zero self-control.  And I hate watching Nicole cry too - I hate that Sad Trombone face she makes when she thinks everyone's out to get her and really, the only one trying to destroy Nicole is Nicole.  She is her own worst enemy.

And now I'm flashing back to Kristen hanging on to Brady's leg while pleading and sobbing for him NOT TO LEAVE HER!

That's pretty much why she didn't go to her.  She knew Nicole wouldn't say a word even if she'd gone to her.  She's known Nicole for ten years longer than Daniel.  She knows how she operates.  Daniel, despite claiming otherwise, does not.  Nicole would've kept lying.  Yes, Jennifer is annoying, but I don't think she did the wrong thing here at all.

I think Jennifer did the right thing, but maybe if I were I would have given Nicole the option to tell Eric himself just to cover myself. However, after the necessary time had elapsed (5 minutes?), I would have told Eric.

I do think Jennifer's shriekiness over Daniel's friendship with Nicole is kind of weird though. Maybe because I don't think he really has feelings for Nicole that way? Of course, now that Jennifer and Daniel are breaking up, she's given Nicole an 'in' with Daniel, which I really didn't think she had before. I really, really didn't think that Daniel sees Nicole as more than a friend. In that sense I do find Jennifer's reaction to his desire to keep the secret for however long a bit odd. I assumed Daniel was simply keeping the secret because he was in that weird moral dilemma that hits people when you find out something that could land your friend in trouble (even if logically you know they deserve it), and destroy the world of the other friend (like when you find out your friend is having an affair with your other best friend who is also the husband or wife of said best friend, and you're caught in the middle of weird couple drama).

I wonder if Abigail will yell at Nicole.

Today’s episode is Jennifer, Daniel, and Abigail free. It does contain Julie though. Even Hope looked like Julie was trying her patience today, and she wished she wasn’t related to her.  Brady sports a giant temp tattoo. Victor pops up for several scenes to hunt down Brady, insult Theresa’s mother, and give Kate advice on her love life.  Gabby says her final good-byes.

Man that would be sweet.  No doubt Little Miss Hagitha will whip her with her hair bun and scold her for not being Horton Holy.  I know Nicole is pathetic and completely in the wrong but to have to hear it from those Deveraux Harpies just dilutes her badness IMO.

I'm a little annoyed at Jennifer that I had to ponder Daniel's words and think he had a point.

This.  You'd think Jenn - who has had major experience in putting herself in the right and others in the wrong - would have covered all her bases by telling Dirty Dan first, or going to Nicole first (Nicole would not have been able to escape that harpy unless there was a staircase handy) and drag her ass over to Eric.  If she'd done that then Dan wouldn't have had a leg to stand on.  Instead, Jenn was unable to resist even for a moment the chance to interfere.  Like  a fly to dead meat, that woman.  Which might explain her hair....

No doubt that Nicole would never have told Eric unless she was literally forced to, but Jenn gets no points from me because it had little or nothing to do with Eric and all about Jenn's wierd need to always be right and her unnatural delight at interfering.

And this too.  Jenn is just the worst for me, bar none.  I'll take out and out villians any day over this two-faced hypocrite - and her daughter, too.

I'm a little embarrassed by how much I enjoyed today's episode. I mean, first of all, no Dannifer! Not even a single mention of either them, unless I conveniently blocked that out. That alone would elevate it above most other episodes, but then we get the indescribable awesomeness that was Victor. As others have said, half the show---hell, the WHOLE show---needs to consist of Victor stalking around from one Salem locale to the other, hilariously (and all too accurately) calling everyone and anyone out on their ridiculousness. I would watch that on constant loop. We get the merciful end of the drawn out Goodbye to Gabi stuff, and parts of her scenes with Rafe (who I like more than I should) actually kind of touched my charcoal black heart. I even like Hope, though the woman is looking cringe-inducingly thin. I picked the show up again a couple of weeks ago after a hiatus, and while this definitely wasn't the first episode that I liked (I think I have awesomely low standards when it comes to Days!), it's the first that I'll probably rewatch a few scenes from again.

Folks!  A very special fake spoiler!  The Gabi Goodbye Tour has been postponed indefinitely!  Due to the overwhelming public response to seeing Gabi weep like a statue of the Madonna at a Texas roadside taco stand, the entire town will REPEAT their goodbye to Gabi, and special guests will drop in to say buh-BYE too!  We can expect to see Oprah, Joy Behar, the entire cast of "The Talk", Carla from whateverthehellshowthatisthattookovertheOLTLspotonABCDAMNTHEM, along Daffy and Donald Duck, Huey and Louey (but not Dewey), with FogHorn Leghorn performing the Aria from Carmen in her honor.  Yep, it's NOT over!

But thankfully, it is.  And as has already been noted, this was a Dannifer-free day, with the extra added bonus of no Nicole or Tears of A Clown Eric.  The majesty that is Victor made this episode soar, and having him and Kate together......more, please.

Snark aside, today was a great example of why I like DOOL the best of what remains.  Instead of one-dimensional cartoon crap (GH), dull and dishonest emotion (Y&R), or the WTF that my very occasional sneakpeaks of B&B have brought on, DOOL actually still embraces feelings and relationships as the heart of their story.  I liked today a lot.  And I'll like it a whole lot better in hindsight if this is really the last of Gabi.

Good riddance Gabi, I didn't feel sorry for her at all because she was just a total dumbass right up until the end. Get out and bye bye.

Jordan, you want to sit down because she knows she's nowhere near ready to take on Kate, let alone Sami. Kate would poison her ass and tell everyone she did it and even tell Ben to his face that she did it.

I'm so sick of seeing Julie and all her shrieky screeching. STFU.

I loved Victor drilling into Theresa, he doesn't give a damn walked in and disrespected her in her own home. LMAO. I'm not always one to go around shrieking "What about the children!?!" but I caught myself feeling all ragey at both Gabi and Will today. Gabi because it's not as if she's going to jail and being separated from her daughter because of circumstances beyond her control---no one forced her to kill Nick. I was totally unmoved at her goodbyes with the baby. You love your kid and want to see her grow up? Don't shoot someone dead. And when Victor told Will how honorable it would have been to take the fall for Sonny, all I could think of was that Will put Sonny ahead of his child's needs/best interest.  Did Sonny ever tell Will how stupid that would have been? He's the smart one, and a general voice of reason, so I'd have expected him to do so.

I hope this isn't becoming a pattern, but I was mildly interested in Jordan yesterday. I still could not care less about her multiple ids, but I did like her calling Sami and Kate out over their very loud and public spat. Speaking of which, I never bought the idea that Kate and Sami are planning something, but that argument, at least on Sami's side, sounded so staged. Bad acting by AS or maybe this conspiracy theory has legs?

I feel Kate and Sami are up to something. Their acting makes me think so. When they're fighting nowadays, I don't sense that underlying hostility they used to have. They seem to have some sort of respect for each other.

I don't know if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but I like Sami's eyeliner with the straight hair. Makes her look  something fierce. Anyway somebody needs to be fierce in her family, since it seems like everyone else is out to lunch. Has Marlena forgotten about Brady? Has she not noticed that Brady has problems? She was all up in his grill about Kristen, but suddenly seems to have no concerns about his drug addiction.

I hope JS gets his looks back when he leaves the show. Oh my. My sympathies to his girlfriend for having to deal with his current state of hair.

I think I'm ready for Paige to be recast. All of Abby's boyfriends get recast. Why not JJ's?

Heh. Does that mean you want Paige to be recast as a Page Boy? That would certainly be new!

If Nicole is at near-Kristen levels of whining and begging, I don't want to watch it. I also don't want to watch Julie and her histrionic orchestra. (What the hell does "our justice" mean, anyway? Cram it, Julie.)

Sad cause Brady & Theresa had potential but not anymore.

Yeah, what is up with that? I agree they had potential but where is their story going? Does Theresa have an end-game? She just wants him drunk or high but to what purpose in the long run? And for a girl that likes to party, why does Theresa always look bright eyed and bushy tailed sober in the morning but Brady looks totally trashed?  It's one thing when the characters are in the dark about each other but this show has far too many plots where the audience is too.

I really want Kate and Sami to be scheming with each other.  The writers have missed so many opportunities with these two, and they completely missed the boat when Sami, EJ, Brady, Kristen, and Stefano were all living in the Dimera House of Horrors.  I want some kind of decent SL for Sami before AS leaves.

Theresa is another character with so many possibilities (and I like the actress) who is stuck in the same repetitive scenes going nowhere.  These writers suck.  I would love some scenes of Sami, Theresa, and Ciara.  They could be past, present, and future if Corday and the writers had any actual talent.

This is how I feel.  I'm supposed to believe that Gabi would do anything for her daughter, yet she makes the stupid choice to kill Nick and then get put away for murder.  Yeah, ok, lucky Arianna!  She gets to grow up without her mother and for everyone to know that her mom is murderess.  I know everyone's high-fiving each other now over Nick's demise, but Arianna is the one who pays the price.  It really bugs me. It also irritates me that everyone acts like Gabi's some kind of saint for killing Nick.  I know he was annoying, but was murder the only answer?

She is feeding off of Brady's soul - what there is of it.  I love Theresa.  I agree that they need to figure out something more to do with her.

Brady's soul would make a meagre meal, indeed.

I agree that there's a major failure in the writing if we're meant to understand that Gabi had no other choice than murder, even though Nick was reduced to a one-dimensional (or less) caricature of a villain.  Even if Gabi's self-justifications are meant to be seen as paper-thin, the writing isn't really selling it. The fact that Gabi wasn't nearly as cornered as we're meant to think, however, doesn't make Julie any less a self-centred harpy.

Oh yes, I completely agree.  Julie's histrionics don't help anything at all and I eye-rolled at her reaction.  It's classic drama queen for the sake of drama rather than genuine grief over Nick's death.  Poor Nick - we had a glimpse of the human behind the cartoon and then the writers took him right back to caricature.  I will miss BB.  What a waste of a good actor.

I confess I FF'd the never-ending good-bye scenes with Gabi yesterday. I have no real investment in her relationship with her daughter so I didn't feel any need to watch her weep at the kid since she's leaving and it really doesn't matter to me. Once Julie got her last parting shot in it was all FF from there for the Goodbye Gabi - Don't Take So Long to Leave Tour. At least it's finally over. Right?

Unless they spend the next month or so having Will and Sonny talk about what a tragedy it is for Gabi to be gone and they'll do everything they can to keep her in Arianna's present or whatever.

ANYWAY...

I have to agree about Theresa and Brady at this point. I, too, think it's bizarre (and kind of hilarious) that Brady is constantly looking worn out and wrecked after all of this alleged partying while Theresa looks like she's had a good night's sleep and a healthy breakfast. And really, what was the point of that ridiculous, colored on "tattoo"? Was it just so Victor could spit out "I'm not the one with the tacky tattoo" because, if so, I'm sort of okay with it. Despite it's appearance of having been colored on with Tarte lip crayons.

Is there a point to any of this? What's more, I don't understand Theresa's situation. She gave a decent enough monologue about her usage of drugs to keep her going 'smooth as glass' -- maintaining an even keel, if I understand it right. So does she have so little self-esteem that she uses drugs as a means of keeping men addicted and with her? What IS her goal with Brady? Hell, what was her goal with JJ? Is it power? Need? A combination? I don't understand the purpose of it all. At this point, it's clear that Brady is going to get his act together and leave which will make Theresa more desperate to keep him, which is kind of too bad because it seems they get along fine without the drugs.

I just feel I'm missing a huge chunk of the story and motivation here.

Victor wandering around town telling various people off was delightful. Just delightful.

So say we all about almost every single SL and character.

Not only, did I not get the impression that Gabi had no other choice she just couldn’t handle Nick anymore.  I NEVER believed that EJ or Kate wouldn’t kill or have Nick killed in cold blood.  Sami would kill Nick in a fit of anger.  Hell, Kate could have set this up nicely.  “Sami, take this gun, and keep it with you at all times.”  If Nick had threatened Sami at the wrong time, it would have been game over.  To top it all off, Victor telling Sonny, “The next time you need someone murdered, you come to me,” summed it up nicely.

Oh geez, now Ben is singing the Horton family praises today. And here I was starting to like him.

I wanted to stand up and clap for Sami when she told Marlena how it is. Everything Sami said about the Nick fiasco was spot on. I love when characters own their “badness” and don’t cater to people like Marlena and their perceived “holiness.”

Can I just say that I so don’t care about the whole Andrew/Melanie kidnapping thing. The story was 2 years ago, Melanie is gone (and hopefully stays gone), Gabby is now gone—why waste time on it??? It’s like reading a month old newspaper.
