I'm not sure if she's still involved in some MLM business but she seems to have a large following on Instagram and calls herself an influencer. And that tends to go hand in hand with promoting or shilling crap.

Can't find anything about college though.

Where on instagram does she state she’s an influencer?

Ysabel was shilling (or trying to) bedding. I don't know if she still does.

This is Ysabel's verified Instagram account. Although she did post a story (which expires) to mark Garrison's passing, she's not that active on the platform (at least publicly). The most recent post is a picture of her with her boyfriend, at Christine's wedding, last October. I haven't seen anything like her shilling bedding or calling herself an "influencer."

Do you have a link to the posts you're talking about? (Could it be one of the other kids?)

It was definitely Ysabel who was shilling bedding, but that was a while ago. I think it was when she left NC to live in Utah and I saw it on Ysabel's Instastories. IIRC it was talked about here too.

I found it. It looks like Ysabel did sponsored posts for Cozy Earth (which I don't think is an MLM) at some point.

The reason I don't think it's an MLM is that they sell the brand on Amazon, at at Nordstrom, etc.

Ah ok. 🙂Since some members of this family have to do with MLMs, especially her mother, I automatically assumed that Cozy Earth/ Realm would also be MLM. Talk about prejudices.

I agree with @Orcinus orca. That assumption is reasonable. I'd also never heard of the brand before (and it kind of sounds like an MLM name).

Yikes! I just for a hoot searched Cozy Earth/ Realm on Amazon. A queen set, flat, fitted, 2 pillow cases $310!!! Wonder if she was making a commission or what the arrangement was with the company? That's got to be bucks for sales people??

Companies pay people with active social media accounts and big followings to post about their products. It's a form of advertising. My guess is that Ysabel just got paid for posting about it.

It doesn't seem like she does it any more. She no longer seems active enough on (public) social media accounts to make it worth a company's while.

"Influencers" which actually makes me LESS likely to buy something. I don't need some vapid airhead telling me what I should buy.

Yes, it looks like she was paid as an influencer, rather than an MLM sales slave. I agree about influencers not having a BUY NOW effect on me, but I'd probably take the paycheck in a minute. That is, for instance, if I liked Olay Retinol, mentioned it, and had a big Twitter following, and Olay reached out to me and said, "Tweet about this and we'll pay you," I'd probably do it in a heartbeat. (I'd have a harder time if I thought the product was crap, but I am old.)

Ysabel would have been 18 when she did this sponsored posting, I blame her zero iotas.

I don't know if she has finished college. I don't know what she is doing for work since she left and/or finished college, but the sponsored post I can find evidence for was from 2021. Ysabel was born in 2003, so she was 18. I don't think we can decide from one sponsored post (from a company that is NOT an MLM) that she has forsaken whatever education, and is an MLM shill (since this wasn't an MLM thing).

Does anyone know when Sister Wives season 19 will premiere? I noticed TLC is rerunning episodes again, which usually indicates it is on the way. I haven't had any luck searching on Google.

I didn't really know where else to ask this question. I searched for a Ratings/Scheduling thread, but couldn't find one. I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place.

Kody once again, on air, shows just what an a$$ he is!! Talk about delusional!

And yes, @Elizzikra I don't want any to see any focus put on the suicide. Maybe a brief comment from the family about their sadness and a screen with Suicide Help lines info. either at the beginning of the first show or the end. Nothing drawn out, no "story line" etc., to gain $$ from Garrison's death is so disrespectful of him.

This is a hard no for me. I don’t want to see anything related to the suicide and everything else is more of same…

Right there with you.  The whole thing is vomit inducing and it's disgusting to think the family would actually want any of this aired.  If they all went along with it then shame on every one of them.

What got me:

Kody: “Blame yourself if I don’t love you.”

This arrogant, odious turd needs to be ignored and forgotten. Let this be the final season with everyone else moving on without him. He’s caused so much grief and pain already and he won’t admit to any wrongdoing.

I feel especially bad for Meri, who I’ve previously been critical of. She made mistakes but she doesn’t deserve more of that crap from Kody.

I just watched the trailer too, and my goodness - why don't I ever learn?  I keep thinking that Kody Brown could not possibly be any more of an odious POS, and yet - my man rises to the occasion time and time again.  It's impressive.

And Robyn, just sittin' there alone on her red bench, overlooking the barren dustbowl formerly known as Coyote Pass, wonderin' where it all went wrong....

Thanks for sharing that. It looks like the season 19 premiere date is September 15th.

I think I must have missed mention of Garrison's passing in the video. To me, it looked like stuff that was all prior -- David meeting the Browns (which would have been at ...

Spoiler

Gwendlyn and Bea's engagement party

And the fallout from Meri and Kody's split.

Has anyone seen the whole trailer from TLC (rather than a E! report on the trailer)?

Edit...

Here's the full trailer:

The best part of the trailer .., watching those rings fall off!

He’s so delusional, and doesn’t know Janelle at all.  She would have never told him that she wanted to remain separated unless she was DONE.  Hounding her about it isn’t going to change her mind because she is DONE.

I think they will handle Garrison’s death in a respectful manner because Janelle and the kids will require it.  I also think the production team already respected  Janelle.  My guess is that they will show what has already been made public:  the 911 call, the memorial service,  the cat room provided by donations  - along with a public service announcement  about suicide. Maybe clips of his cats settling in with the family.  If the kids want to say something ….

Interesting that the trailer didn’t make any mention of Garrison’s death, which the press release said will be included in the season.

Perhaps they realize it would incense and anger anyone with any sense of propriety.  I'm sure there are those just salivating at seeing how tasteless they can make it.

I read the trailer is for the first half of the season. Maybe Garrison's death will be included in the second half of the season.

I just do not want to see Robyn and Kody spending 'married' time together. And did anyone else think Robyn looked uncomfortable on the horse and that the horse looked uncomfortable carrying the weight of Kody and Robyn?

Personally, I would like to see this handled at the very beginning of the first episode.  I don't need to hear anyone in the family talk about it (especially Kody or Robyn).  Maybe just a montage of Garrison through the years, while music plays in the background.  I don't feel like they should draw this out in the hopes that people will tune in every week, simply to see how they are going to handle it.  I really hope TLC and the Browns handle this with the utmost respect that Garrison deserves.  Please don't draw it out for ratings.

Wait, I'm confused.  This trailer shows Christine's early dating (and family meeting the fella) and didn't last season end with their wedding?  I definitely remember the wedding.

Meri comes across very positively this time around.  I agree with everything she said in this trailer.

And Kody, if anyone even hinted at "what you did wrong", would you listen to or believe them????

I'm pretty excited to see Meri be done with Kody. She's never been my favorite wife, but she's suffered enough at the hands of him. I'll watch just to see her. And if the season covers Garrison, I'm interested in seeing Janelle's strength. I'd love to see Janelle, Meri and Christine take a girls trip, then pan to Robyn and Kody, the tenders and DaytunAuroraBriana sitting around Robyn's McMansion.

If they have to show anything about Garrison I only want the 3 OG moms to speak. I really don't want Garrison's name spoken by Kody. We have watched him for longer than I care to admit and know that everything Kody says will only be about Kody and poor Robyn.

Kody is not getting worse, he's just on constant repeat and can't sink any lower than he already did. He continuously spits out the same messages/opinions, just with different words.

As for Garrison... In my opinion, completely ignoring what happened would be disrespectful; as if he never existed. He was, and will always be, part of the family. I'm just hoping they'll keep it simple and respectful, like finishing an episode with a short clip of him that ends with "In loving memory of Robert Garrison Brown"

I really hate it when people say they wish they had never met/married their exes when the relationship produced a child or children. Have the decency not to wish away one of your kids who SHOULD be precious to you.

I second that.  My sister divorced her husband, their dad continued to be a part of their lives, and she never spoke ill of him.  Kody is totally wrong to say that, especially publicly!  He & Robyn basically trashed her ex, again publicly.  They are very low class people.

I'll third that!! When I divorced my first husband, neither of us ever spoke ill of the other to our kids. It was pretty much an amicable divorce, we both had the same lawyer!!
