Robyn's response was, "Yes, she looks like me".

The Darby kids on the counter brought out the nurse in me and I was horrified at all the potential fractures & dislocations. Yes to the John C. Riley reference, especially with the oldest.
My husband came in room and said “No! Not Potomac! This is the worst one!” I said “I didn’t know you were keeping score but Potomac is number 3 for me after Miami with Bev Hills & Salt lake neck and neck for #2, with the OC and Atlanta running last!” Husband : “ I want real money. Robin has been disrespected from Juan since 1865. This is clearly her jam & would we please stop taking away her joy? Putting those photos in the frames and the staged discussion was given 4th grade poorly acted play vibes. 

Mia in the 1500 sq foot house is exactly where she should be. Clearly her huzzbin was dipping his hand in the cookie jar to support their lifestyle and his partner/brother wasn’t having it. Mia will always remain a stripper/escort and is now scoping out her next mark/lap dance victim to front her bills and need to floss wealth that doesn’t belong to her. 
 

Giselle’s jig saw puzzle tacky house will always be janky. Girlfriend isn’t spending the money to get it right. We’ve always known she’s a weird awkward dancer, so her buzzing around the boy toy dancing was particularly cringe. Jason, when not tapping dusty booty is also a chef. She got lucky there. He also got Lindsey from Summer House preggers (she miscarried) He’s a cutie pie reality fuq boi….and Giz channeling Stella getting her groove back is a far better storyline than her back with her ex or chasing Sherman. 
 

Charisse lost some weight but continues to be deadweight. Wendy found the weight, her face was quite bloated. 
 

Candiace with the ridiculous headband has me cracking up at her insistence on being an artist. Six figures to perform at City Wineries? I’ve been to one near me in Boston, it’s a very small venue with D-Z list performers. Why doesn’t she use her two masters degrees? She suffers from mediocrity and her bored husband just has more opportunities to cheat with her on the road. (New scandal of his locked and loaded and coming down the pike!)

No wonder she seems depressed and moves around at the speed of a sloth.

The truth of the matter is if Juan leaves, he will quickly acquire all the things he had with Robyn and perhaps more depending on where he hangs his hat. But statistically speaking, Robyn will not be able to do the same, at least not with a partner. Studies and real life has shown time and time again that black women, no matter how beautiful, smart and successful have the hardest time finding life partners of equal or greater value after a certain age. Of course there will be the I before E except after C exceptions. It's just the way it is. From personal experience, I find that older black women tend to "hang on" longer than is probably healthy.  

Looks aside, Robyn is middle aged, 2 minor children, her cornbread is not done in the middle and her personality is fresh out the dryer on the 60 minute cycle for 2 small towels - DRY AF. She is not a catch and neither is Juan. HOWEVER COMMA, Juan won't have a problem finding another roommate. Probably ever.

My friend was married for 30 years when her husband met a woman at the gym. He is now gone with nary a care in the world. And life is shoving a pineapple up her butt. She knows her chances of finding someone else are slim and it's sad but it's reality. 

Everyone should just let Robyn be Lois Lane and pretend she doesn't know her husband is Superman because Superman wears glasses. Just leave her alone. The idea of being alone and or being without Juan is just not something she is ready for. They need to back off. She probably already feel stupid so getting in her face and constantly telling her she is stupid is not going to move the train along any faster.

On the earlier episodes of the podcast, Robyn said the county school system was good.  They just moved to a new location in the same county the townhouse was in.  The kids go to private school now, though.

State of Maryland says otherwise. I really liked the last scene with the intervention. Although Robin just was not allowing herself to accept the truths the women were speaking, it was all done in such a calm, direct manner. Gizelle got right to the point of the get together, they all let each other speak without interrupting, and kept the focus on Robin and concern for her feelings. Refreshing change from the usual screech-fests of these housewives shows.

Juan must still want to sleep with Coach Bree,if he's calling her beautiful twice in one scene. Staying together is only hurting the kids in the long run. Ashley is better than me. I wouldn't hire no young nanny. Put the kids in day care. I felt bad for Charisse.

When the episode started, I didn't remember anything about the season before! I'd totally forgotten that what's her face accused Karen of bathroom sex. Also didn't remember the other GEB getting married to Juan - and the laundromat pics and hotel receipts that came after. As they would say in Wire, 'Shiiiiiiii-it'.

 

I'm super annoyed by Gizelle and super tired of Robyn. I can't believe I used to like them. Robyn was once my favorite.

 

I'd also forgotten about the thing about Chris and Gizelle! Holy crap. Chris didn't deserve any of it. I'm team Chris and Candiace. Fukk you Gizelle. And it was an innocent reply, Ashley. Get off your high horse. 

 

I don't know about you guys, but I'm loving Candiace doing her music and getting recognition. Good on her. 

 

The minute I see and hear Gizelle, I sigh! I'm so over her not being authentic. She's bringing nothing to the show. 

 

Gizelle is ride or die with Robyn. She's always defended her. So why now is she arranging this intervention on her, on camera. Unless she's come up with this plotline with Robyn. Oh I would love it if Gizelle thought of this on her own and alienated Robyn! That would be priceless.

I think it might start to get problematic. The nanny is around often and very close. You have to be careful who you trust.

These people are 45 years old and they're not going to change.  Robyn's parents know this and while they probably would prefer if she found a beige dude whose family belongs to the same organizations they belong to, they know Robyn isn't leaving Juan especially since the boys are underage.  So they will support their daughter and hope for the best.

Nah.  Robyn’s parents saved his ass.  Who knows where he would have ended up without them.  He’d probably still be the prick he is today, just an anonymous prick.  Unfortunately, their daughter fell in love with him while he was busy loving himself.  I feel confident that once Robyn is done raising his kids, he’ll be outta there.

These people are 45 years old and they're not going to change.  Robyn's parents know this and while they probably would prefer if she found a beige dude whose family belongs to the same organizations they belong to, they know Robyn isn't leaving Juan especially since the boys are underage.  So they will support their daughter and hope for the best.

I think Robyn's parents have always seen Juan as a woe is me, down on his luck charity case*. He had the potential to make a lot of money in the NBA so sure, go for it. But they didn't need him to get on and they weren't plotting a love match between the two for benefits or clout.  They had the benefits and clout.

(They probably feel the same about Juan the way Candiace's mother feels about Chris)

If they were digging for gold they would've told Robyn after Juan lost all his money and got put out of professional basketball for injuries and substances to charge Juan to the game and find somebody else.  You know Lori Harvey, Kris Jenner and Kate of England's mother would've told them to drop that zero and get with a hero.  Instead they were smiling on the docks of Baltimore watching their daughter tie the knot with an unemployed* cheater ... again.

*The Mall in Columbia is hiring...Arundel Mills is hiring...Maryland Live is hiring...I'm just saying.

My take on it was Robyn's parents saw a kid that needed a family structure and support, the fact that there could be a romance was a bonus, I don't think Robyn or her parents knew Juan would go on to the NBA and they probably had no idea that his career as a cheater would last longer than his basketball career.

Cut to current times...it is all on Robyn for putting up with Juan and his Juandering dick.  We teach people how to treat us, Juan knows he can have sex with the Canadian girl on the dining room table during dinner and Robyn will ask him to pass the salt.
