I agree with Auntie Kern and them. Are Juan and Robyn LEGALLY married? Anyone can have a ceremony performed. The marriage isn't considered legal unless the paperwork if filed.

I hope this doesn't mean that we're going to spend the whole season on this subject because this is the most boring "scandal" ever. Did everyone get a new glam team this year? Or is my HD just tripping? Everyone at that last meeting -- Gizelle, Charrisse, Robyn, and Ashley -- all were casket fresh. Their makeup looked chalky. I was actually distracted and thought I was seeing things. Then they showed old clips from years previous, and I realized I was not seeing things. Phaedra Parks is doing their makeup.

Speaking of ... and a bit off-topic since I keep seeing these commercials. Who here watches Married to Medicine? Is this show worth watching? I almost feel like Phaedra started dating a doctor JUST to get back on TV. Y'all know Kandi is blocking her ass from the ATL.

That intervention with Robyn was painful.  I legit wanna know how nobody asked this:  the lady from Canada - you have a boyfriend who lives here, right that’s the whole reason you came to Maryland, a professional athlete, seven figure income earning boyfriend, but Robyn’s husband paid for the hotel room? Seriously, the level of humiliation and degradation she is willing to go through to try to keep this family together when this man is a chronic infidel who does not give one fuck about her feelings, is wild.  

That man played in Robyn’s face all of season, whatever it was when they were living together and he had a whole girlfriend, played the entire time since, talked to her crazy, and I don’t remember him being on more than one reunion.  Both of them are emotionally no more mature than the age at which they met and it’s heartbreaking to watch.  When 3 women in your immediate friend group, including your best friend, who’ve been cheated on say girl you sound dumber than raisins in potato salad, you really need to listen to not only what they’re saying but what they’re risking by saying it.  Gizelle right.  We too old for this shit. Shoutout Danny Glover.

I watch Married to Medicine. It is a good show, especially for the first few seasons. There is a lot of focus and scenes with the husbands -and a focus on what they actually do in medicine. The last couple of seasons have focused on stupid petty drama (n true Bravo fashion).

Thanks for the info. I never liked Phaedra on RHOA (from the moment she claimed to not know her own due date, I knew she was full of shit) but I will admit to enjoying her short stint on RHUGT. Despite that, I've always seen her as a sneaky, vile hustler.

I think I'll catch highlights on Youtube. I never watched MTM because the idea of watching professionals wrassling on my TV is not appealing. I understand why the chicks on the come-up do it (they're trying to catch a man or finance their wig shop, home goods biz, or clothing store). But people who attended medical school? No ma'am.

Maybe what her friends are trying to tell Robin is that it’s time to get off this show. Since the moment she came in it’s been one cringeworthy issue or another with her. The cheating, the unpaid taxes, the failed businesses. I don’t know what that girl is trying to prove but she just embarrasses herself season after season. Her poor sons. A piece of shit man for a father teaching them how to disrespect women, and a shitty mother teaching them that being a doormat to someone who disrespects you is always the better way to go. At this point I’m convinced that they are so far in the hole financially that they have to stay together because if not their kids will be homeless.

I do not watch but I am familiar with some of the cast just by seeing the commercials, my son and DIL were traveling thru Italy in May and were at a restaurant where the cast were at a big table, he took photos and I recognized some of the husbands.

The beginning with Robin and Juan doing a recap with excuses of his latest (known) cheating scandals was painful to watch.  Not just because they both look like idiots (Juan for his moronic excuses and Robin for accepting them - at least outwardly) but their “acting” was terrible.

J:  ”Oh yeah I’m just too nice.”

What does Gizelle's young'un do besides reality TV? If it's good for her, it's great for me. I just don't want to see her crying on my television again if things don't work out. That shit with Sherman was tragic. I believe her reunion with Jamal was just a storyline. I ain't averse to her finding real love. I'm just not sure it should be on TV. As usual, I loved seeing her lovely daughters.

Ashley and Michael are not divorcing. They've simply agreed to live separate lives so that when we see/read about him stalking a Washington Wizards point guard, or having his pockets run by a pro, or drunkenly grabbing some balls, Ashley can save face.

Hell, the man is probably still licking his wounds regarding the Robyn/Juan nuptials. Mr. Darby and I BOTH swore that wedding would never happen. The Dixons made liars out of us, and I'm just beside myself. I'm still recovering. I know in my heart Michael's soul got snatched.

Marylander here. It seems to me that when we were discussing Juan going to the hotel to pay his hooker last season , we realized that since it was during the pandemic, he wouldn’t have been allowed to just walk into the hotel and pay the bill because of all the restrictions.  Does anyone remember that? I need to do some digging because I’m sure there was a pandemic related reason that his explanation was impossible.

Now I remember part of it - the casinos were not open during the pandemic. Also Juan?  There was a lot more involved in your firing than just losing games.

You need a marriage license which normally expires soon enough (it depends on the state- it's 60 days in Florida) if not used, and paperwork (marriage certificate) has to be filed at a courthouse after a ceremony in order for a marriage to be valid.

Maryland marriage license law states you have to get married where you took out the license. PEOPLE magazine reported they took out a license at the Howard County courthouse in August 2022; they live in Howard County.

But on TV they got married on Frank Sobotka's dock somewhere in Baltimore County (allegedly in September 2022) so unless they had the actual marriage ceremony somewhere in Howard County, the Baltimore County ceremony isn't legal (unless they got married in Howard). Karen openly wondering this makes me wonder if she and other cast members think Robyn has a Brandy style spiritual marriage (and not an actual legal one).

If there was ever a time for Monique and her binder, this would be the time.

Mia going to a 1500 sq ft rental with 3 kids is tragic.  I have more space than that.

Gizelle needs to fix her driveway. It's a hazard.

Sounds like the marriage is open for Juan and not Robyn. By the way Robyn, it’s Juan that stole your joy. Not the woman from Canada, not Coach Brie and not the person who took the photos. Juan is getting caught going out on dates but it’s everyone else’s fault.

Gizelle doesn’t need to make their story about her but I’d rather see that than her dancing around that kid in her kitchen. I know there’s nothing wrong with an older lady and younger man but I found the two of them cringeworthy. Also not seeing each other for weeks but able to find time to connect when the cameras are there was a bit convenient.

I was trying to remember those same things, was the hooker at the Arundel Mills or the downtown casino? Even if he did just pay because he is a nice guy, he did not have to go up to the room. 

Robyn, if it quacks like a duck, looks like a duck, and walks like a duck...it is a duck.

If those two have truly worked out the cheating issues and decided to move past it all then why the hell does she keep bringing it up, she is not over it but it does make for a good story line and keeps Juan relevant.  I doubt their therapist considers them "healed."

I've been wondering in general, why none of the HWs have chosen the tactic of saying "My husband and I have an understanding. It's not up for discussion - next topic." Robyn would at least sound less crazy. But then again, maybe that would just paint a target on ole' Juan. Frankly, I don't understand why, if you are targeting a married dude to be a side piece for, you'd choose a guy who is mediocre at everything in life. Sounds like a good way to proceed in order to maintain some dignity and good mental health. That's what I'd do in a similar situation. Unfortunately, with the Housewives franchise, these women are fighting to maintain position. If the producers (and fans) decide you're not delivering, you'll be tossed out. If they all became eloquent and began shutting down this type of questioning, 75 percent of the show's subject matter would be flushed away....

I think my favorite part of this episode was Robyn trying to convince herself that the Juan hotel story was so nuts that it just had to be true and then they show us the Ashley story that was even more ridiculous with Michael going to the hotel room and just lying down not sleeping with the lady and she took a picture of him in his underwear. But he didn't do anything with her, honest!!! They had a cut of Robyn's face of disbelief after Ashley spouted that web of lies.

Oh, Robyn, this is the same story!!  What a dumb, dumb.

It also made me sad that all 4 of those women had stories so alike. Where are they finding these men?

I think it’s too late for Robin to maintain any sense of dignity.  I would also advise any girls or young ladies to never get involved with her sons in the future because I’m sure they’ve been taught their father’s absolute disrespect for women.  My feeling is that Juan just uses women but doesn’t actually like them at all.  He definitely thinks they’re inferior to men.

The laundromat story is stupid because Robyn has stated on the 2 Broke Girls Podcast (h/t Candiace) that she had to have her laundry room specially wired in the new house to accommodate the multiple washers and dryers because Juan would bring the team's uniforms home to wash. So if you've spent all this money buying multiple washers and dryers for your house, why was Juan taking the team uniforms to the laundromat with Bree?

I had no idea about the washers/dryers in their home...why is Juan bringing home the team uniforms, I would have thought the school would be equipped to wash team uniforms, towels, etc...Also, if Juan was a head coach why is he doing the laundry?

Coppin State is plenty big enough to have student assistants doing laundry on campus. There is absolutely no scenario that explains Juan in a laundromat with an assistant coach doing laundry. None.
