I thought Whitney driving Miss Patricia to the local farmers market was absolutely hilarious.  Seriously.  I hope Patricia had a 401k plan or something so that Michael has some $$ to spend on himself.  I'm so sorry that happened to him.  What an adorable guy.

Yes, Shep was going around telling the bros how they'd had a scare because she'd been late one time and they don't use anything. Then he went on and on about not wanting kids or monogamy. If you really don't want kids, you use some form of birth control. 

I wonder if he wants to see if she accidentally gets pregnant, because then he can blame everything that goes wrong in future on the fact that it was all "forced" on him and his being a "gentleman" about it. Also, at this point, after all 18 of his cousins or whatever have had kids, he may feel he needs to prove he can, in some manly sense. I imagine that at every family gathering they all tease him. Cousin Marcie said they were a judgmental bunch.

I didn't like the leggings outfit, either. She looked like a Barbie doll.

I heard that Michael had been left a large sum of money by his previous employers, so he's set for life and is living in a nice facility. He is sorely missed, though.

The previous episode was ridiculous with everyone weighing in.  Why would it be any of their business if they're true friends?

But reality TV friends get to be nosey and then act hurt because dull white guy #1 didn't tell dull white guy #3 all the details.

Now their make-believe friendship "could" end because Craig wasn't all gossipy about his supposed personal life with the guys?

Venita is like this season's version of what's her name, always in scenes to let some other character vent.

Well at least they gave a role to a POC.  They actually have two now, appearing in all the episodes of the season so far.  Guess after 7 seasons of mostly white cast, they have to catch up a bit.

But Caleb looks like he may be bouncing soon.

Kathryn’s face looks like it was done by a child who just opened her first set of Hollywood Glam Girl Makeup. Gives her the look of one of those unstable women in a novel or film from some past era - and makes her seem out of touch with reality. (Which matches her words and behavior.)

The word that pops into my head watching Kathryn is tragic.

I love that Craig is doing well with his businesses after being being maligned for years as ambition-less. I also thought he did well in his discussion with Austen. It makes sense to me why Craig pulled back from their friendship and after seeing Austen's reaction to it, gossiping & trying to blow up Craig's life, I think he was right to do so.  Both Austen (& Shep) have issues being happy for their friends success. It's pretty sad.

Kathryn looks so much better in her talking heads. She should never deviate from the red hair. While I initially liked Chleb, I found it interesting that both in his conversation with her and even more so with the guys, he alluded to the kids being foisted on him and that it was an issue. I was curious what Kathryn made for dinner.  I thought Spaghetti and meatballs but maybe it was meatball risotto?  Either way I would've thrown it out.  I also didn't understand what was Chleb's point in his discussion with Kathryn.  He didn't even apologize for ghosting her for 5 days.  He can't handle her situation?  Did he ever meet Kathryn?  The whole damn town talks about her so he can't say he wasn't aware.

Looks like Shep is getting tired of playing house.  I knew it.  I’m shocked Taylor hasn’t become pregnant by now.  My first child took us five months, the second and third, first shot, lol.  Who doesn’t use something?  She’s a dingbat.  He’s a baby.  I too loved seeing Patricia and Whitney in the car.  Guess it’s hard to find a loyal butler these days.  Maybe they could get Austin to fill in.  He’s got nothing to do, plus he can gossip with Patricia.

That sauce looked vile.  Did she not have marinara so she used like grape jelly or something?  I'm very picky about my marinara and pizza sauce.  And then by the time it was being scraped into the garbage it had turned brown.

I liked the various shots of egrets and marshes and stuff!  

I don't care much about Venita as an actual show character one way or another but I do think her style is interesting. Not that I'm going to go follow her Instagram or anything.  And yes, as observed by Venita's assistant, moving that TV and squatting to put it down WAS pretty impressive!  I'd have fallen on my rear with the TV on top of me.  

I think Olivia sometimes has facial expressions like Madison.  Like she is a Barbie-doll recreation of Madison with the face less scrunched down.  

Craig + Austen:  Let's make up and be BFFs again!

Craig, not much later:  Oh, hmm, what in the world is Madison announcing on Amazon Live?  let me put it on!  I can't iMAgine what she would be saying!  

I know the general tenor on this board is Shep and Austin are worse than Craig, but that was pretty mean.

I did feel for Whitney with the loss of his dad.  I thought it was going to be COVID but no matter what, it sounds like a rough few final weeks.

It seems like a pretty deliberate thing. At least, unlike Thomas and Kathryn, they have an actual relationship and Taylor does not appear to be a total train wreck. So, if she is not using Birth Control, she is making a choice.

Do phones not play thru cars' systems in Charleston?  Talking on hand held phones is illegal where I live. Kathryn using her leg to steer while driving in the rain was giving me major anxiety! It was the strongest feeling generated by the whole show.

She could have gotten all kinds of make-up advice from the women who worked at that department store Kathryn worked at for a few minutes.  It's amazing that in 10 years, she still has learned NOTHING about make-up.  Her face has always been a disaster.

It's idiotic of them to act surprised over a "scare" though since they both mentioned that they aren't using anything to prevent pregnancy. Although, if they've been together two years and haven't yet become pregnant, it's possible that Shep's sperm is pickled from his massive alcohol intake. 

  Chleb apparently only wants to be on tv. Katherine is looking rough. Her need for constant drama and upheaval is so very unhealthy. I actually felt a little bad for her this episode, even though she's created a lot of this from the choices she's made.

What in the heck was that pasta sauce? It was runny and gross! Did she mix ketchup and water and added some purple food coloring? 

 I know Whitney is an ass, and Patricia can be too, but I enjoyed him catering to her, and playing chauffeur and escort for the farmer's market, and her ordering him around like he was her new butler. He's my age and acts like an 80 year old man! Patricia must feel lost without Michael. She seems a lot more frail than last time this show was on.

Some cars may not have bluetooth built in.

Or maybe Kathryn hasn't bothered to pair her phone to the car.

I have bluetooth but I much prefer wearing an AirPod when I drive, so the other ear can still hear road noise.

But AirPods wouldn't work for TV show because they want you to hear both sides of the conversation.

I would like to know if Craig assisted Kathryn in her custody dispute with Thomas? Craig and the Bravo network rarely mentions his law practice on this show. I’m betting Craig’s fellow attorneys don’t want to be affiliated with this drama. 
That’s a wise decision and I don’t blame them.

Katherine was so pretty in the beginning.  Why do they all do this to their faces?  Because they have the money?  Why would a woman under thirty do this?  I can definitely see a nose job if needed, but for no reason?  It only makes them worse.  Plus, they are too young to go under the knife and anesthesia just for no good reason.

In the first season of the show, Shep told us he always uses condoms.  That was when Kathryn had her first pregnancy scare after having sex with both Shep and Thomas (separately!).  Shep was clear that there was no way he was the father becasue he and Kathryn used condoms, and he always does.

If he's not using them anymore, I guess he's losing his mind in his old age.

I don't know what his problem with commitment is anyway.  What exactly is he doing with his much-vaunted freedom?  Like he can't booze it up at the country club with other husbands who are boozing it up and flirting with the waitresses?  I think he's too lazy to pull his weight in a relationship, requires the woman to do all the heavy lifting, and is far too lazy to be a parent.

That was really cruel of Shep to discount wasting the best years of womens' lives with the whole "well, you had fun, didn't you" argument. Shep doesn't realize that many women don't see life as simply to have fun. Some women want to do their life's work, which involves having children. And if it's all about fun and not fertility, why don't we ever see Shep dating an older woman?

When I became single in my mid 50's, I was shocked to find out how many "Shep's" are out there.

Men who have either never married, or who are "Shepping" it up after divorce.

Men who are on into their 70's, 80's, and yes, beyond, living their best "Shep" life.
