Would TLC have the nerve to bring back Jason and Kylen for another season? Because Jason certainly thinks that he’s the main attraction (and thanks, Dad, because now we know for sure why your son turned out to be such a psychopath, as in apple—->falling——>tree). I’m not sure I’d want to watch Kylen continuing to be controlled, bullied and gaslighted, while her father dies a long, slow, sad death.

Lilly and Lawrence did look a lot better tonight. Honestly I cant throw stones about their sleeping arrangements. When the 4 Knights were really little, we slept all over the house. They are all older and in their own rooms now lol.

I'm still on Emerson's parents' side. I don't think it's judgemental in a bad way to be concerned about a drug user in the home with their daughter and grandson. Even if Mason's mom is a lovely person  - not saying she is but let's give her the benefit of the doubt  - she was a drug user in the recent past. And the drugs came from somewhere,  a dealer of some sort. Dealers are not lovely people. This seems very dangerous to me, to allow a naive new mother with her newborn to live in that house.

I can see your point on potential issues with Mason's mom, but Mason's dad seems to have kept his children safe throughout their lives so I suspect he doesn't allow his wife too much freedom around their children...or at least I hope not.  Perhaps Emersyn will learn a lesson from seeing the issues in that home that will teach her a lesson for years to come because she looked like she was heading down that long, rebellious road that usually doesn't lead to a good place prior to her getting pregnant (if I remember early episodes).  Between the two sets of parents hopefully she will learn what not to do to raise your children. in a toxic environment.

Yes, I would like to know what Mason's mother did to violate her parole also because I'm kind of nosy that way.

As far as Jason and Kylen...my only hope is that the local branch of child protective services has been put on alert and stays so far up their butts that Xavier will not be allowed so much as a bruise.

Say negative what you want about the Kentucky girls but their children appear to be happy and thriving and well cared for.  Dee and Tiarra do not live nearby so their children may actually grow up in an environment where they might accidentally learn that you don't necessarily have to get pregnant before you are old enough to legally drive.  And family is more important than how you decorate your nursery.

I wish Jenna nothing but the best but that girl needs therapy for a long time before she gets into another relationship or else she will just be falling the same pattern over and over again.  She has a lot going for her so she has potential to break the cycle of her parents' toxic relationship but she will need professional help.

The "closing statement" the loser/bully demanded...and had everyone set up and waiting around for. Then he couldn't put a sentence together.

Why does Erica have her underwear in a knot about Emerson riding in a car 'one and a half weeks postpartum'?  She makes it sound like Mason's dad threw a pillowcase over Emerson' head, hog-tied her, and threw he in the back of a van.  She literally just rode in a car.  Ridiculous.

Is there a part 3?  Because I swear I saw a teaser that the Kentucky cousins bf got someone else pregnant.   Not Alex, Noah maybe?  Did I mis-hear that?

It occurred to me that he knows the term "closing statement," but doesn't actually know what it means.  Because really, what could a closing statement in this situation consist of?

Me too, but it's not just being nosy.  Emersyn's mom said Mason's mom went back to jail, and said it was public record.

I don't know what constitutes parole violations, but assuming she did go back to jail, I think it would be important to know whether it was for failing to submit some paperwork or for failing a drug test or cutting off an ankle monitor.

Remember when Emersyn's mom said Mason's mom couldn't leave the county, and Mason's mom quickly and smugly corrected her?  Where was that reaction when Emersyn's mom said Mason's mom had gone back to jail?  She didn't respond, "It was an administrative thing--I mailed my Form 4026-B on time but delivery was delayed.  It's all been fixed now."  Nope.  She didn't address the facts at all, and instead accused Emersyn's mom of being judgmental.  Who cares if she's judgmental?  What are the facts?

Thank you!  I saw that teaser, and I'm pretty sure it was Noah.  Yet the episode ended  without any mention of it.  And it was a big part of why I watched the episode at all.

That's a really good point.

We just don't know any of the particulars. It could be anything from she was smoking marijuana in a state where it's still not legal to doctor-shopping for pain killers she'd needed to doing coke to cooking meth. (I somehow don't see the last one, though. 😀)

I just can't stand Emerson's mom. I find her smug and passive-aggressive. I think her hugging Kylen on camera was to make her look good.

Why did Emersyn's mom bring it up in the first place, though? She pretty craftily said in her passive-aggressive fashion that Mason's mom couldn't come to their house because it would violate parole. And she always addresses Sandy (is that right? Mason's mom?) very haughtily. The kids are the focus of the show, not Mason's mom. And if Mason's mom were a danger to kids (I think they have a younger daughter at home, too), the state wouldn't let her around them.

Jason's interpretation of "closing statement" was wanting the last word, because he always has to have the last word. When given the chance to talk, he had no clue what to say, because he wasn't arguing with anyone right at that moment. Then, he had his last word when he told the crew he was pissed because he supposedly didn't have the opportunity to have the last word. He's a piece of work.

His dad appears to be the same, and now he doesn't know how to handle his own kid because the kid turned out just like him.

The thing is, she didn't even try to lie.  She just mumbled something about "facts" and changed the issue right back on Emersyn's mom being judgmental.  Whether she's judgmental or not--did Mason's mom have to go back to jail or not?  If not, say so, and Mason's mom has nothing to be judgmental about.  And if she did go back to jail, why?  Maybe Mason's mom does have something to be judgmental about.

I have to say watching some of these girls makes me want to have the talk with my daughter, and she's only 9 months old. That 15 year old seems like an especially young 15. I cringe at the thought of her trying to raise a kid with that boy who is so clearly not ready for this.

Also, fun fact, I became a first time mother last year, and I'm older than the 15 year old girl's mother.

I watched this last night. wow. What a train wreck. I think the fifteen year old got pregnant thinking the guy would stick around. And the fifteen year old's mom said she hooked up with her husband, a 37 year old divorcee, when she was only 18! Oh, and they are from Kentucky too. Same as the family with all the T names.

Ayden is still a jerk. So, Jenna goes and gets pregnant by someone else in SC? Didn't she learn the first time?

And, later this season we get treated to more fun with Lily and Lawrence.

I mean...no? If she did learn anything after being on this show, she'd be the only one. Even Tyra had another kid before too long.

I just learned that about kiwis this year! I don't know why this is so much more upsetting to me than eating a fuzzy peach. Maybe because it's brown?

I eat the skin because it's a good source of fiber. Although I didn't learn this until I was about 50. I wouldn't expect a teen to know about this benefit. 😁

The fuzz on a peach is so fine I don’t notice it, but kiwi is like fur!

I see Aiden still has that charming personality.

I cannot wrap my head around having a kid and just not giving a shit enough to support him or her or see him or her. (Sure seems to be common enough, though!) Even though his personality is terrible, it did seem that Aiden was willing to work to financially support his son. I guess that was short-lived.

Mom?  Just kidding but mine would always say the same thing.

And they instilled real respect not this BS on every show where someone gets their fillins (TM Sisterwives) hurt and says that they’ve been disrespected.  They don’t know from respect.

I've noticed that men and women view "disrespect " differently.  If a female partner argues, or doesn't agree with her mate's idea, he'll become suddenly angry, stating she's "disrespecting him". Yet women use that statement if they're ridiculed or mocked by their mate.

I don't understand the mens' definition.

Aidan was just an odd guy. I question if he truly wants a partner. He definitely resented and despised his baby mama. Thank goodness she tapped out. Not that I think she is without fault, God knows the both of them have serious issues with emotional Immaturity.

The men's definition makes sense once you get that they really mean "insubordination." The women are viewing the two partners as equals. The men are viewing themselves as authority figures. You don't argue back to your grandpa/boss/drill sergeant; you obey, or else you're showing disrespect.

Of course, I have zero interest in dating a man who thinks he's my grandpa/boss/drill sergeant. I also have zero interest in forming lifelong families with people before I know if we share fundamental values. But the pickings are obviously slim for these girls.

What I would like to know is how is Jenna paying for anything? An entire summer in myrtyl Beach, then moving to live alone on the beach? She has no job and now no child support? Who is paying for this?

I was a produce manager for 15 years back in the UK & I have always eaten the skin on a kiwi fruit. Fiona says it's weird but there you go, you do you.

I actually have something positive to say: Dakwon is super handsome. If I were his age, I'd be giving my birth control a workout, too -- AFTER A FULL MONTH of taking it correctly.

Parents of teens, LARCs are the way to go!

I was gonna say the money for Kayleigh's car should have gone in someone's college fund, but let's not get crazy! No one in these families is going to college.

I wish that this show would spend more time showing their lives after the baby is born rather than all the stuff before the baby is born. I mean, show them actually having to get up in the middle of the night to feed the child and changing and the day to day grind that really hits them after the baby is born. They all have the fantasies about how easy and fun it's gonna be once the child arrives, they have no idea how their lives are gonna change and isn't  that what the show is supposed to be about? Less talk and pregnancy photo shoots and more showing how hard parenting can be so maybe they think twice b4 having baby #2 in a year or so.

You're at the beginning of the season.  As they move through the season, the deliveries are given a lot of attention, primarily because they are all brutally hard for these children.  We are seeing a little bit of the after effects with the second or third season girl that now has two and wants to throw a huge wedding, where her baby daddy is saying no way.  It will come - patience.

The random use of seatbelts on the drive to Myrtle Beach. Annoying and illegal.

Why buy a car for someone who has apparently never been behind the wheel?

Are any of these kids parents still together?

I actually empathize with the mother of... (Sorry, brain fog made me forgot her name) the mom of LJ.

Watching him spit, push, scream etc is hard for anyone to passively watch, and her mom can'thelp but try to discipline. I don't have that same patience, but at least as a grandma, she can walk away.

Experience has also taught me that some of these former "toddler hellions" actually mature into responsible adults, so what do I know?

JJ: "We've never used any protection."

Mother JJ: "Don't say that!"

IvySpice: "The problem isn't saying it! The problem is he's DOING IT! And he's clearly planning to get Jenna pregnant and lock this family down, so Grandma time is coming whether you like it or not."

I wonder what JJ's backstory is that's got him in such a hurry to be married with two kids at 19. Maybe they moved to Myrtle and away from JJ's dad so Andrea could party, and he's trying to go all Leave it to Beaver to make up for what he lost.

I agree with Mother JJ that I don't like being around undisciplined kids (looking at you, LILLY), but we haven't seen anything from Luca that raised my hackles. He got cranky on Thanksgiving with his nap time interrupted and a bunch of strangers in his house. And his fingers are sticky. These aren't even misdemeanors for a 2-year-old. Much as it pains me to praise Jenna, she seems really connected to him in a healthy way.

It's so crazy rude to show up to your own party 2+ hours late, it almost made me forget that they wasted all that money on an event they practically missed!
