He sounds insane. I saw the interview with him on tv and he said his porn addiction started cause his dad left out a playboy. Does he get who he’s married to and their family? Like good luck with his own kids then. I feel bad for the kids having these 2 crazies as parents. He is mega delusional too. I think he actually thinks he’s some sort of Jesus figure.

ITA and IIRC he said he saw that first Playboy when he was 5 years old.

Adults walk around in each other's world at similar heights. Even with height differences you generally see people from their shoulders up. His kids are all so small that they are constantly seeing their maternal grandmother, mother and aunts at vulva and ass crack height.

They've posted so many kid-centric videos where K/J moms and their friends are undulating and slow motion twerking throughout the scene while the kids are running around. It's not like they keep that shit under wraps until the nannies take the kids away. All their yammering about baptisms and such is the height of hypocrisy.

They normalize a heinous category of abuse: creating prurient interest and desire in a child before it can even be verbalized.

He's raising his kids in a hypersexualized, visually intrusive environment but red lipstick is the hill he wants to die on? Let's revisit this in a few years and see how it worked out, shall we?

There is a more detailed interview with Kim where she said he's no longer allowing crop tops on North as well.

I hate defending Kanye but the truth is when you become ultra religious late in life you do start making drastic changes especially the way your kids are raised. You see life differently. Ive seen it with friends (both in a positive light but also not so great like they have sounded nutty and preachy). A year ago Kanye was singing "youre such a fucking hoe". Now he uses no bad language. When Kanye got with Kim he probably saw nothing wrong with the sexual nature the whole family believes in. I rather see some strict parenting come in to play while the kids are still young enough to learn.  Kourtney lets Mason take pics of her in a bikini with her legs spread open. I hope eventually those kids too gain some discipline.

He was at this stage in his delusions when he was packed off for treatment in 2016. Same time of the year also. That tour began in November and screeched to a halt in December.

Sometimes delusions trigger, incubate and hatch according to an inner calendar which repeats and repeats, without successful intervention. (Seasons, holidays, anniversaries of life events, etc. Among the mentally ill, Christianity is the sect with the highest occurance of religious delusions).

Wonder if he’ll start celebrating Christmas as his birthday.

No crop tops on North but Kim walks around nearly naked?  How’s that going to fly? I can’t see Kim going along with this.

Didn't you watch the episode with the Met Gala? It's already a problem, he complained about her corset, & she basically said she isn't going through the same journey as him & to lay off. With him laying down the law about North & makeup, & wearing skimpy outfits, I'm surprised Kim is going along with it. I found this quote from the interview interesting

Quote

A smart man has the ability to pivot to say i think something different now. I don't think this because it's the culture. I don't think North should wear crop tops just because I had her wearing a slip dress when she was 2-years-old. I think and feel differently now, now that I'm Christian, now that I'm founder of a 3 billion dollar organization and married for five years.

Do you think he realizes how stupid a two year old looks in a slip dress?

This kind of quote always cracks me up.  If you have to tell people how smart you are...then you probably aren't as smart as you think!    I mean, most people form their own opinions about others intelligence from words and deeds and don't need to be told, you know? 😀

Streams are the more popular venue of music today and physical sales are dwindling, but Kanye definitely has a hardcore group of fans who have supported him for years buying any shit he puts out whether it be ugly sneakers or like now - a gospel album

Kanye West's 'Jesus Is King' Album Aiming for No. 1 Debut on Billboard 200 Chart

The reviews for the album have been mixed.

Variety

Quote

The album is his first since he experienced a well-publicized Christian awakening, began holding gospel-themed “Sunday Services,” and promised to have forsaken secular music for good. The album is West’s second-shortest, his least percussive, and his first to feature absolutely no swearing. It’s also not very good.

this verse-quoting, all-loving Kanye will take some time to get used to, even when his curse words have been cast away.

I finally saw this episode. He did not look happy storming off. He was dressed like an jail inmate at the Gala.
Interesting that she wanted pics taken with him and solo. I guess for her future scrapbook.

Where did this come from?

(I've been sick and haven't posted for awhile). You asked, because on 10/25 I said:

Among the mentally ill, Christianity is the sect with the highest occurrence of religious delusions.

If you're asking where I heard of it, a long time ago I took a class in Comparative Religion. There were lengthy discussions about how mentally ill Christian men usually think they are God - or leaders like Moses and Abraham - and mentally ill Christian women tend to think they are saints or messengers, like Joan of Arc.

There are many articles online discussing this concept, here is a link to one of them:

Quote

Religious Factors in Bipolar Disorder

Interestingly, one meta-analysis reported on studies that appear to show a higher incidence of religious delusions among schizophrenia patients in predominantly Christian countries than in other populations. For example:

The rate of religious delusions in Germany was 21.3% vs. 6.8% in Japan.

The rate in Austria was 21% vs. 6% in Pakistan.

That culture has a strong impact on this was supported by the finding that "[i]n Egypt, the fluctuations in the frequency of religious delusions over a period of 20 years have been linked to changing patterns of religious emphasis." The same analysis reported, "A rate of 36% of religious delusions was observed among inpatients with schizophrenia in the USA." In addition, research found that "in the case of paranoid delusion, the persecutors were more often supernatural beings among Christians than among Muslims and Buddhists."

As long as he doesn't take his kids down with him.  They didn't sign up for this.

I'll also be laughing & enjoying every minute of it. I also hope that he takes Kim, Mama Kris, Khloe, Kylie, Kendall, & the rest of that stupid family down with him. Except for the kids, they all deserve to crash & burn.

Even knowing how Kanye has tons of fans who buy literally anything with his name on it Im still shocked by these numbers. The article has the breakdown of the massive stream numbers as well. I wonder if its also because of the Sunday Service hype that contributed

His crazy fans spending tons of money for his ugly clothes & shoes & buying his album even though it didn't get good reviews, all just because it's from Kanye isn't the scariest part. The scariest part is he keeps saying he's going to run for President, & a lot of his fans are of voting age. Think about that for a while.

I’ve already thought about that, and the thought is nightmare-inducing.  When Trump decided to run I literally LOL, thinking there was no way in hell that he would ever be elected.  I wouldn’t dare LOL if Kanye ran for POTUS, because, like Trump, it might come back and bite me.

I have definitely thought about it. These people would surely vote for him. And Kanye being president isn't even the scariest, imagine Kim as the first lady?

I was coming here to post that there's a lot he'd have to go through to even get to the point where he would receive a party nomination so we're likely safe from this but I said the same about the current occupant, so it is -- scarily and unfortunately -- not completely out of the realm of possibility. Nothing is with these reality tv people. . . .

re: surrogacy

I happened to watch an episode of Independent Lens (documentary) yesterday on the booming surrogacy business of Idaho. Apparently surrogates in Idaho average about $120k whereas its $200K in California.   And as countries around the world have banned financial compensation for surrogacy, the number of people seeking surrogates in Idaho has increased dramatically. You can watch it on their website free through 11/11

I was actually trying to catch up on some of this seasons episodes yesterday and I was on the one with the Met gala and the surrogate appointments.  Looks like they used a white surrogate (again). It crossed my mind wondering why wouldn’t they have used an African American this time around?  Is there any bearing or impact between the race of the surrogate and the carriage of the fetus?  This is an honest and sincere question that never occurred to me before yesterday.  I just figure why not mix it up and use one of Kanye’s race the 2nd time around?

Why is it really anyone’s business what race their elected surrogate is? Is there some sort of social quota they have to meet?

Sadly, pregnant women of color do not receive the same care as white women do.  Google if you want, specifically Serena Williams' story.  Maybe this was part of their decision.

I think he’s punking everybody.  He’s trying to see just how stupid the public is by designing these horribly ugly clothes/shoes and sticking a high-dollar price tag on them and people STILL buy them.
