Feeds were my background noise tonight, as I tried to catch up on some work… There was not a lot of strategy talk, most just chit chat.

Alyssa and Christian giggled about how they really should talk to other people instead of cuddling up alone all the time. Later, Brent quizzed Alyssa about her swimsuits: which one she likes best, what’s her favorite color swimsuit, etc. and while he didn’t say anything specifically sexual, it still somehow came across creepy.

Xavier and Whitney hung out in the hammock, and the more he flirts with her the less respect I have for him.

Whitney told the group she has 20,000 Instagram followers, then did a whole “aw shucks, that’s no big deal” thing. Deref fanboyed over how famous she is, as she explained it’s mostly people who follow her makeup business. Across the nation, there are thousands of shiny, plastic-faced women who would sing her praises if they could only move their mouths.

Britini popped in and out of various groups, shouting all the way.

Claire and Hannah spent a lot of time gossiping and talking about guys, including who they would have a showmance with if they were going to do that, but they definitely are not. (I think they both settled on Derex.) It seemed like they really bonded.

Later, Tiffany and Hannah strategized and said they would like to work together. They both want to protect Claire, who they believe is in trouble. Hannah said her team is gunning for Claire. She said Brent is the biggest threat in the house, and she wants him out even though he’s on her team. She thinks Brent, Whitney, Alyssa and Christian are working together, but Tiff thinks Frenchie pretty much put an end to that.

In the HaveNot room, Hannah tried to gently pump Brent for info and suggested they should have a nightly team meeting, but he was not forthcoming.

Then the feeds switched to the Jokers bedroom, where Frenchie was moping about leaving and Deref started to wail about the unfairness of it all, and I had to agree with Azah that it was time for everyone to be quiet and get some sleep.

Good morning! All quiet and snoozy in the BB house. Camera 1 shows Alyssa lying at an angle in her bed, no one else there despite all the showmance talk from yesterday.  But this could also be Hannah or Whitney, the dim lighting makes it harder to distinguish who is who. The pillows are tossed around.

Camera 2 shows the wave (or swirly) room. I cannot tell who anyone is. Maybe the one in the corner with knees bent is Christian, maybe French Dressing. One bed is empty.

Camera 3 shows another bedroom. The camera is centered on who I think is French Dressing. (Note: my phone suggested Poodle or Braid to follow French.)

Camera 4 shows same bedroom, different angle. Derek F is in the coffin bed. I think Tiffani is the one closest to the camera. This night vision cam distorts everything.  What I'm sure is a human head looks like a stuffed bulldog head.

The thought of Claire, Tiff, and Hannah being a real trio is too beautiful. The 3 of them, Azah, SB, and Derex teaming up would be perfection. I guess they can bring Ky along as a number lol.

Yesterday while I was driving home I was ranking the women and the men by who I want to stay the most.

Women: 1) Claire; 2) Tiffani, 3) Sarah Beth; 4) Azah; 5) Hannah; 6) Britini; 7) Alyssa; 8) Whitney

Men: 1) Derek X; 2) Kyland; 3) Xavier; 4) Christian; 5)  Derek F; 6) French Dressing; 7) Brent.

If I combined the two lists, Derek X would be #5, then Kyland #7, so I think the quality of women overall is better than the quality of men. But I think that's the way it usually is, at least for the seasons I've watched.

These are pretty much my rankings too, though I think Tiffany is impressing me slightly more as a gameplayer.

I like Xavier still, but he's starting to drop a bit. And I don't know if I *like* Christian, but he has done well to make himself a bit less of a threat after week 1. I could be wrong, but it seems like Brent is higher on the list of targets, which I'm completely fine with.

I'm a little sad to think that Deref (who I really wanted to like pre-season, but is a complete and utter disappointment) is going to stay around for awhile, considering he's not really presenting as a threat. Ugh. He's going to be dragged to the F2, isn't he?

9Caught the end of a conversation with Derek and I think Sarah Beth. He said his team was going to vote for Britini.

Everyone's up now. Derek F's outside with his cigarette, wishing for a shot of.adrenaline. he asks Britini how she has all that energy in the morning. She says she has to for her job.

In the wave bedroom we have Xavier and Brent, I think, talking about batteries. No, it's Christian. It's hard to tell just seeing their backs. Alyssa's in there, still in bed.

Derek F is a math genius. He says if 5 people go before jury, that's 10 left, then 2 people in the finals, so there's 8 people in the jury.

Lol.  Already forgot about Travissa, did he?  Sounds about right from Deref - outta sight, outta mind.  Let's see how long he remembers Frenchie once he's shown the door on Thursday.

Sarah Beth is growing on me.  I liked Claire from her pre-show info, but I'm not seeing much from her to know if she's got follow-through.  Tiffani is my #1 right now, she's playing the game for sure.  I like Azah, but I think she's a little too loyal to the Frenchster, but she's under Tiffani's wing so there is hope.  Alyssa momentarily was up in my ratings due to her snark, but now that she's showmancing it up, she is dead to me.  Britini....I have no idea.  We don't see much of her on the broadcast episodes, and what y'all are describing of her behavior in the house, she's not really a contender.  Whitney is another one who is just there to be there, so she'll probably go to jury then get cut.  I'm predisposed to dislike her for her Sandy Hook comments alone.  Apparently there is someone named Hannah in the house?  She's invisible on the broadcast episodes, and I don't hear much about her here.

I have no opinion on the guys, or real favorites for gameplay.  Except for Xavier, who is nummy, but seems to be going for Whitney, which drops him down considerably in my estimation.

Smart of Hannah; she and Brent aren’t always going to be on a team together, and right now is the best time to gather intelligence to use against him.

In the kitchen they are t asking about French Dressing and Derek F going on their first date. Derek F says he can't go on a date because he has multiple ho's? Or hose? Or hoes?

In the living toom Brent says he can trust X but he can't trust Christian. Also someone keeps saying every day Brent betrayed French Dressing. BUBBLES.

Edited by Lamb18

Brent says in the real world he would be attracted to Alyssa and she would like him, and they would go out together and physical attraction would grow. She is the closest to his type in the house. Now he is giving shade about Christian in an Iagoesque way. He says Christian is stealing his jokes and telling them to Alyssa. Also that Christian is telling her what she wants to hear. Planting seeds of doubt in Alyssa's mind.

Brent is now flirting with Hannah. She says no one in her real life calls her Hannah. Brent says what do they call you? Hannah says Chaddah (last name) or Han. Brent: does anyone call you Banana? Or High Potassium? She says he can call her Banana. It's cute. He says look at my shorts. They have bananas on them. Then he has to leave because he has to use the bathroom.

In the meantime Chef Birkenburger is still fixing eggs in the kitchen.  Then Bubbles!

There are other circumstances where you would want to be her dry cleaner?   Because....yeah, no.

Dry cleaning is a lucrative business! :) I used to work next to a dry cleaner years ago and they made SO MUCH MONEY.

But probably not enough money to clean up Grodner happy juice. ;)

I've forgotten how much I hated the dead time between the Veto Ceremony (and this time was even longer, because no way was Derek X going to use it) and the votes.  I mean, I get it, it's all about the TV show, and they hope the more time these people have to stew, the more likely it is they switch the votes, but when there's almost no chance of it....damn.  SO boring.

Yes, to all of this, but especially the schedule. I'm sure in the past I've been thrilled a favorite who was nominated had a few days to change minds on the votes, but it seems like that uncertainty happens less and less, even in this season with some decent personalities. People know who they're voting out right after noms, and waiting almost a full week until the next eviction is way too damn long.

And, I don't know who all interviews people when they leave and are not jury, but is there anyone doing interviews who would know how much BULLSHIT the talking point Frenchie keeps making is? About his goal was to not get out a woman/minority?  Because I want the questions to go like this:

Frenchie: I just knew I did not want to get out a woman or a minority the first week, and I accomplished that goal.

Interviewer: So why did you nominate 2 minorities, one of who was a woman?

Frenchie: I just....wanted to do a backdoor. That was always my plan.

Interviewer: Your backdoor plan was Derek X.  Who is a minority.

Frenchie: But I SAVED him.

Interviewer: HE WON VETO! He saved himself.

Frenchie: It was always my plan to backdoor Travis.

Interviewer: It was your plan F, and at several points you wanted Derek X to use it on Alyssa or not use it at all, because you wanted Ky to leave.

Frenchie: But I hated the Bro alliance.

Interviewer:  You HAD an alliance with all the bros!

Frenchie:  Yeah...but....Christian and the Wildcard...and Brent is so genuine, except for when he's a fake backstabber....and....I got out TRAVIS!

Interviewer: I think we're done here.  Go away.

I'm bored, y'all.

Sadly, no one ever really challenges these HGs on anything in these interviews, but yes, it is SO hilariously easy to tear apart all of his BS.

By the way, did Travis do interviews? Is he officially out of sequester?

Travis did the usual podcast rounds. And they filled him in on alliances and stuff that happened in the house, plus there were photos of him at the airport flying back to Hawaii wearing a hoodie from Julie Chen's new "Monetizing God to the Masses" capsule collection. As a parting gift, it blows.

Out of all the things that COVID has denied us, a buyback is one that I'm not mad about.

I guess we have a potential Azah versus Brent moment happening in the future because she corrected him on the difference between floaters and coasters (fuck you very much for that, Rachel Reilly) and he was telling others about how she snapped at him and now she needs to go but that's okay because they need to get a woman out next anyway - for the record, he said that with three women in the room - and blah blah blah NO ONE CARES, YOU FUCKING LITTLE MAN CHILD. GO VISIT THE JACK SHACK, NO ONE WANTS YOUR DICK.

It suuucks, too, because I kinda think that next week will also be a boring, predictable week if the Aces don't win safety via HoH or the Wildcard comp but I also want Brent thrown out like the stank-ass bag of trash that he is.

  • Love 16

Sarah Beth whispering to the camera: She doesn’t want to win HoH this time, after all. Sorry brother, get a different birthday present. She doesn’t think she’s in danger, and would prefer to let someone else do the dirty work. Her Kings team had been aligned with the Aces, but now they’re working with the Queens. She hopes someone from her team wins and takes out Brent or Whitney.  Kyland is her ride or die, and the only one she fully trusts.

Hannah is reconsidering… She sees Alyssa as the bridge between Brent and Whitney and the rest of the house. So getting rid of Alyssa now would put those two on an island.

Claire joins the brainstorming session. They agree that Alyssa has a lot of influence, and is dangerous in many ways. They try to figure out who could go up next to Alyssa to make sure she’s the one to go. Christian? Brent?

Hannah thinks Britini would definitely vote Alyssa out, because she has a little thing for Christian. Tiff snort-laughs over this. They think they can get Azah and Deref too.

I am loving this power trio.

8 minutes is a record. Tiffany and Claire just got an info dump from Alyssa and now they're looking at Hannah all sketch. This is all your fault.

Yep, Azah is on Brent’s list. She got passionate about the correct use of floater, which means she’s floating, which means she has to go. Throw her a life raft!

Brent tells Derex that the next two evictees need to be women. He is after Frenchie’s Kisses— just not like Deref.  He tries to get Derex on his side by hinting if not a woman, it might be Derex because he’s a comp beast.

  • LOL 1

I mean, Hannah could play it off as bad information - it sounds like Hannah was leading Claire to target Alyssa and Alyssa isn't targeting Claire but instead just handing out information to Claire and Tiffany like it's Hallowe'en and she wants to be the neighbourhood hero with the full size chocolate bars. So it might be early to say that they think Hannah is sketch but yeah, they're gonna think Hannah is sketch.

Houseguest alliances always try and play too many moves ahead.

First:  Read the room, pick the boot this week

Second:  Win HoH

Third:  Lay low, read the room, get your gang together and pick a target.

You have 3 days to decide, along with the veto options.

Ky nominating a French Fry ally was smart.
