I feel sad for Jacob and Haley.  He's a nice guy but she's definitely repulsed by him.  If she had a mate she was attracted to, I doubt she'd be going on and on about being independent.

I dunno ... she says she’s cut men off for dumb superficial reasons, and I’ve known people to make those kind of excuses when they really just want to be single, or when they want to pick the wrong person (e.g. blows off the nice stable guy who treats her well but is two inches shorter than she is in favor of the dude who is tall but treats her like shit).

She wouldn’t be the first person to find fault with every dude she meets because she just would rather not commit to anyone, is all I’m saying. I don’t think she likes Jacob at all, but I do wonder if maybe she just wants to stay single.

I think that’s primarily what Chris was reacting to, and I get it. And I have to say, as a woman, I would not want a man who was all “don’t speak to my wife at all, speak to me.” I’m grown; I’ll speak with who I please, and I have no issue with saying “don’t speak to me that way” myself.

This.  I don’t think he would have done that if his wife wasn’t so much younger than he is, which, in itself, is problematic for me.

Agreed, and I think a more mature (not even necessarily older - Virginia is really immature) woman wouldn’t stand for it, so maybe they are a match.

Someone mentioned that she wanted to get married because her friends were, and I think that's her issue.   Maybe she really does want to stay single, but I still think there's the chance that if the right guy flipped her switch, she'd want to get married.

Paige . . . girl.  No.  No, no, no.  Chris is lucky that she’s who she is.  He would have been ended by now if he had been matched with anyone else.  At this point, he’s just being cruel and I think he knows it.  It’s honestly disgusting to watch.

Yeah the others too - sounds like this is a fucking juvenile group of assholes.

I’m genuinely curious as to how that went down because I can’t imagine ALL of them doing that. Jake’s perception is that they saw him and hurried out of there but what if it just looked like that to him. What if Haley glanced back at him and rushed everybody out?

Maybe she told them he chose to stay behind that day?

Chris is the worst of the bunch and I wish he'd pack up his shit and leave the show.  Paige, Erik and Virginia too.  Sadly, the three remaining couples wouldn't be of enough interest to carry the show, especially Haley and Jacob who make me sad.

Chris is being an extra special douchebag so Paige will leave, & he doesn't have to end it himself.

Yes. Oldest trick in the book.

Really, if he were a man of God, it might occur to him to step away. "This situation with my ex is unfair to you. You deserve someone who can commit to you fully, and with all the things going on in my life, I can't be that person for you. I'm sorry I hurt you." That would be the honorable thing. He's not going to do that because he's a punk, so he's going to act like a dick so she'll dump him and let him off the hook

Petty and childish. Surprised that Ryan would be a part of that, TBH.

Okay, so it’s all Erik and VA’s fault now?!?! Boy, Conman Chris is good; he turned all the attention off of his hideously ridiculous behavior and attitude from day one and particularly that day, and managed to turn everyone against someone else. He’s a real piece of work. I can’t believe these young people don’t see all the abuser warning signs from Chris.

Chris reminds me of the way teenagers act and talk, and why did he need an escort out of the place.  I just forgot the guys name.  The one with the beard.  High school shenannigans.  We all know Virginia is an alcoholic, but we wouldn’t say it to her face,”lol.  Oh, here comes Haley drinking that bottled water yet again.  I think she uses that bottle like a “ blankey.”  Here comes another confrontation with Jake.

Chris & Paige are an insult to the audience.

Still why then would they scamper off like stupid little bugs?

Jake & Hailey should be done too at this point.

This show is very sad.

Can’t believe that Vincent was siding with Chris about the dinner debacle. Even though things might have been a little different if Erik and VA had heard Chris’ (IMO insincere) apology, I do think Erik was within his rights to let Chris know that the way he talked to VA was out of line

So Chris wanted to stop talking but intentionally waited until they were in the van to bring it up again. That was admittedly premeditated.

Okay so Chris is trash, but I have to agree with his point ( to a degree). Eric and Virginia were slushed up most of their honeymoon and they were definitely doing a poke-the-bear as a result.  This does not ultimately help Paige (which is Virginia and Clara's rationale).  I do not understand why Virginia (and Eric) were putting themselves in the situation so much. This whole Chris and baby mama reveal has ruined the dynamic of this season of MAFS. In order to get any type of screen time,  you have to be in his storyline.

Those previews tho...I’m not having a lot of hope for any of these couples now. This might turn into a Jerry Springer-ish show.

I think the previews of Brianna/Vincent and maybe Ryan/Clara are made up drama.

I have a perverse curiosity to know exactly what grossed Haley out...and if Jake thought their premier experience was par the course or even enjoyable.

THs from both please....

I'm wondering too.  Jake looks like he'd have caveman sex with a woman.  Haley did look seriously repulsed and even a bit scared.

This season is becoming sad to watch.

The more Chris says, ya know what I’m sayin, the less I know what he’s sayin. Paige is willing to die on the hill of honoring her vows, but everything else slides.  Chris needs to just leave god out of this mess.
I think Haley thinks she’s better than Jake AND repulsed by him, but I’m not sure she’d be happy with anyone no matter how perfect they were. I don’t think Jake is attractive and I’d be telling him to put a damn shirt on.
I would be perfectly fine if my husband told a man not to speak to me that way, if he was disrespecting me. I love that about him.

I'm starting to feel like truth bombs won't be coming out on these two until the season is over.

I've had some drama going on trying to get a vaccine appointment with IM's, etc.   I missed the part about Haley having sex.  I did hear the conversation towards the end and I agree with him.   She needs to be honest.   He seems like a decent guy.   He's got that Liam Neeson type of look, not really good looking, but manly.

More Rant: I WISH my man would tell someone “Don’t talk to my wife”. My husband wouldn’t finish the sentence before I buried him. And
if I were Virginia and Erik after that comment, I would not speak to Paige again at all. The fact that Paige did not correct Chris when he said that tells me everything I need to know about her. She’s trash. I cannot believe she let Chris say that to someone. Like she’s a piece of property. And the bitch is just gonna sit there and keep eating the shit he shovels her and falling for his bull. She deserves everything she gets with that asshole. Zero sympathy.

Paige and Chris are both laughable. They’re ruining the whole season IMO and I don’t think the other couples should be subjected to them. Chris is volatile and scary.

Chris is an ass, everyone knows that, but Virginia and Erik were out of line because the situation with Chris and Paige was absolutely none of their business.  I think even Clara said as much.

And Erik wouldn't have had to "defend his wife" if she'd kept her drunk mouth shut in the first place.  Put the liquor down and go take a damn bath.  Both of them.

Hailey acts like she out right detests him after the big eff.  My thought is, something did or didn’t happen that she never wants repeating in her life.  He seems oblivious of the fact that it was the sex that killed it for her.

So instead of Erik stabilizing Virginia, Virginia is regressing Erik to the point of drugs, alcohol and confronting people when both of them should STFU.  I think he's scared because he's in too deep with her already and knows that she's a wild child and they are too different to be a really good match.  But dude, you shouldn't be "If I can't beat 'em, join 'em" already!!  Man, he is not as mature as he makes himself out to be.  He is trying to impress her by "defending her honor" from douchebag Chris but the two of them really had no business getting all up into Chris' business like that.  At least take him aside away from the others.  Why spoil their time?  I was trying to remain hopeful about them but now I wish they'd split on decision day.  Even if they say "yes" I don't think they will last unless both of them grows up and that doesn't look too possible to me right now after what I've seen from them in this episode.
