bet cash money (and I'm not a betting woman) that Dorinda has never cooked for the group at BSM.

She cooks on her IG a fair amount. She’s acknowledged when it was catered multiple times.

Dorinda’s Twitter response to someone last night:

This tells me she sees Tinsley as her personal punching bag and she's not about to let go of it.  Too bad there's not a vomit icon I can give to Dorinda.

We all go through awful things, but at no time does that give any of us the right to behave as Dorinda has been this season.  She's projecting her pain on Tinsley and probably the other women by the end of the season.  She needs to get away from all of these (as does Tinsley for different reasons) women and fix her life, before she starts criticizing someone else's.

What’s her problem?  She doesn’t have the life she had?  During checkups last October, my two daughters were diagnosed, both in the same week.  One had surgery, the other is being watched.  Good progonises.  I thought I would die.  I didn’t whine, didn’t drink, didn’t take pills, but I cried with my husband everyday and every night.  She is an insult to people who have real problems like so many of us on this board.

Disgusting.  I mean her, not the vomit bag.  She should be ashamed of herself.  I’ve never seen a person so determined to be mean.

I can't find the story on the townhouse now but I remember either reading or maybe Dorinda said that the townhouse was left to Richard's son. This is why she and Hannah moved out.

Thank you for this!! I enjoyed this guy when he was spontaneous with Tins.  This looks too rehearsed and his enunciation is too good.  I liked him better when he was calling Tinsley Dinsdale.

Hopefully Richard and Mean girl had a discussion about wills and property when they were planning to get married. I can't imagine someone like Richard not doing that so it shouldn't have been a surprise that he left property he owned before marriage to his own children and she shouldn't have expected to have been left that property. Of course mean girl doesn't seem the brightest bulb so she might have expected he would change his mind.

So, all she got was Bluestone Manor as a wedding present?  I wonder if she was a drinker in those days.  Probably so, but careful.  I’m surprised he didn’t let her have the townhouse also, being she was living there with a child already.  I don’t think she would be truthful if there was some discord there when he died.  Interesting.

Isn’t there such a thing as suing Dorinda for harassment?  If all this is true, and not for the camera, why is Tinsley taking this crap from a bully?  Somebody has to step up.  I wonder if John knows all about how she is behaving?  And what about Bravo?  I’m getting real mad.  This isn’t right.  I swear, it looked like she was having a breakdown at the farm table when she was fake crying, then laughing at Tinsley. Then, they were comforting HER !  Bunch of phonies too.

I'm sure he left her well off financially.  I think one mansion should be enough for Dorinda.

Dorinda’s hatefulness tonight was so over the top. She can’t effectively  argue she has to  slaughter with denigrating  insults.  She attacks the person not the issue and in fact she Manufactures an issue to attack.  I can’t get over what I saw tonight.

I feel the same. Dorinda had been on thin ice with me for some time because of her tendency to be a mean drunk every season, but I always thought that underneath it all her instincts were (mostly) to be a sensitive, kind, and thoughtful sort of person who cares about the way she effects other people.

As I was watching the episode I thought---how many times do I have to see this mean-drunk bullying side of her before I accept the likelihood that this is the real Dorinda? She has been absolutely horrible in the past and seems to be getting worse each season.

She made my skin crawl during the scene at the table with Tinsley. I was so full of righteous indignation on Tinsley's behalf that I could barely deal. I so want social media to rip Dorinda a new one over this because she's more than earned it.

I think what really burns my biscuits with her is that she seems to genuinely think that Tinsley is beneath her. She doesn't feel that Tinsely's feelings or life experiences are valid and that somehow makes it okay for her to attack and belittle her.

Sonja isn't much better. The way she talked about how Tinsley would be willing to put up with a small dick if she could get some jewelry out of it? That just made Sonja sound like a bitchy hater. She so wishes she could get another guy to buy jewelry for her. It couldn't be more obvious. Nobody should try to shame a 'friend' like that.

Leah is right that as friends/coworkers they should be supportive and build each other up. I don't see what Tinsley has done to warrant these over the top comments and behavior.

Dorinda and Richard met when she was a real estate agent and sold him a property. Given the short amount of time they were actually together, there is a good chance that the townhouse is the property he bought at the time he met Dorinda. In any case her name obviously was not on title. Richard's children were teenagers when he died, not much older than Hannah. I think it would have been strange for Richard to leave two properties to his relatively new wife, when he had two underage children to provide for.

I couldn't help but wonder if this information is backward.  It seems like Susan-Sharon's husband must be the one who was modeled after Dorinda - short tempered, screaming angry, and verbally abusive.

Perhaps it was her years with Mr. Lynch that schooled her in the way to really incinerate whomever she elects to go off on.  Were they a couple where both had hair triggers?  If so, it must have been brutal for Hannah to have to live with them.  It could explain why Hannah felt such an attachment to a step-father.

I would hope so. Richard was a wealthy man and probably had a large estate. I would imagine the townhouse was sold when his estate was in the process of being settled. Surely he would have provided for his children's future. And I am sure Dorinda was left well off. She owns 2 apartments in the city and the taxes and upkeep on BSM must be pretty steep. Maybe the reason that she is feeling so stressed and unable to sleep is because of money woes.

Does she have actual money woes, or is it just speculation on our part? I mean, as opposed to Sonja, whose financial situation probably isn't in the best shape these days...

There wouldn’t have ever been a middle income Richard.  If John was a “Richard”, she would be all over him like a snake and married by now.  He doesn’t meet her expectations.  I just hope he was the one who broke off with her.  Now she can go and hang with Sonja and be a drunken tramp.  High class my ass.  I only hope John finds a woman who appreciates him, a successful businessman with a good heart who took care of Dorinda’s ass when she was plastered and couldn’t even get home by herself.  She just might wind up in the clinker yet, like the rest of them.  Now, she had to go get her car from Queens and park it in the City.  Good.  Pay thru the nose now.  PLEASE John, don’t cave.  I’m going to go to his store and tell him myself, hahahaha.  Sorry for the rant .. I’m just so disgusted with this weeks episode.  It’s my #1 favorite show.

I think he must have caved.  A Page Six story came out in September, and at that time, this was Dorinda's position on the matter:  https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-8312431/Dorinda-Medley-reveals-love-John-exclusive-look-new-episode-RHONY.html

But on the show, presumably filmed months later, Dorinda insists she and John "are fine", that there never was a breakup, and the Page Six story was a plant by someone (Dorinda speculated it was Ramona).

The fact that she wouldn't admit that they were broken up for at least a little while makes me think Dorinda would rather engage in cover-up at this point than admit that lately, she and John haven't always been solid as a rock.

I doubt that she is Sonja broke but her reaction to the repairs on BSM and saying  that she was stressed out and unable to sleep leads me to believe that something is going on. Also maybe she decided that John was not so bad after all. You know the old saying about a bird in the hand. He is probably pretty well off and provides her with a lot of extra perks cars, dresses left at his establishment and her date for various events. What other man in his right mind would want to escort her to a society event and have to drag her drunk ass home?

I have been re-watching season six (which is amazing btw, I’m probably going to post about it in Memory Lane, because it’s so much better than I remember it being), and I think I realized the problem with this season and why everyone is so weary, aside from the obvious, which is rampant drunkenness and horrible behavior.

  • This cast is way too old.  I don’t mean their ages, I mean how long they have been on the show.  Right now, we are basically in the fourth year of the same cast.  Yes, we lost a Bethenny and a Carole and we gained a Leah, but it is really the same main group of women for four freaking seasons now.  It is like Real Housewives of Atlanta. Their stories have kind of been told.  I think this show needs a big cast overhaul.  Season six is so interesting, in part, because only two of the cast have been there for more than one prior season.  And we get to see new sides of the two who have been around—Sonja and Ramona—because they’re interacting with new people.  I feel like this garbage that is going on between Dorinda and Tinsley, and Sonja being a drunken mess and Ramona and Luann playing the same tit for tat games that they’ve been doing for the last ten years is just because they haven’t had anyone new to play with in awhile.  It reminds me of my parents’ dog—it’s a good dog, but it’ll chase the cats more when it doesn’t have a chance to go out for a walk and see new things.  I think Dorinda is toying with Tinsley partially because she’s sick with jealousy, but also partly because she’s bored.  There’s nothing going on.
  • They’re all unmarried.  No one even has a boyfriend.  None of them have kids that pop onscreen, so that renders them less interesting.  In season six, four of the six Housewives had husbands and kids that could be filmed, so there was so much more ability for organic storylines to occur.
  • Everyone seems either older, drunker, poorer (or all of the above) than they were six seasons ago.  I think this is the oldest cast across the franchises.  Back in the day, Heather and Aviva were in their early forties.  If Tinsley now were transported back to season six, she wouldn’t be “the young one.”  There would be three women older than her and three women younger than her if my math is correct.  That’s quite the demographic shift.

I am not going to give up on this show anytime soon—I think it’s still worth watching for sure, but they really need to make changes.  I think it’s high time for Sonja and Dorinda to sit out a season, and not just because of their recent awful behavior, but because they are not bringing anything new to the show, nor have they in some time.  I could honestly take or leave Ramona and Luann.  With Tamra and Vicki being demoted on RHOC, it’s a new era.

Tinsley and Leah don’t quite do it for me, but objectively I might see where they could stay, although I prefer married women.  I think a cast made up primarily of married women in their forties with teenaged children, like early seasons RHOC, is the perfect combination, and I think that is this show’s future if they don’t want to continue to disappoint the viewers.

I think your are right about the cast aging out. OC is now 14 years old. All of the kids from the original cast have grown up. Some are married with kids of thier own. On NYC the kids are all grown. All of the women are divorced or widowed and no boyfriends. If they do have boyfriends they want no part of this circus. So you have a bunch of women who drink too much, fight too much and have no interest outside of drinking, fighting, and taking a trip. once a season. Only the new girl works. Not counting Sonja's fake fashion line. They don't attend charity events. There are no family scenes to watch.  As much as I long for the good old days of th original cast I think Bravo must either replace Sonja, Dorinda and Tinsley or let this show die a natural death.

Can we have their daughters?  I mean it would be interesting to have Victoria, Sonja's daughter (can't remember her name!), Hannah and Avery be the new youngsters and then their mom's can make a "friend's of" type of appearances!

The only men you will see are service people who will run in the opposite direction as soon as possible.

The NY Housewives, particularly Dorinda, need to learn the art of shade. Their arguments are noise contests that frequently hit below the belt in ways that are not fun to watch. The NY Housewives' could take some lessons from the ATL Housewives in how to have a funny confrontation.  Even though they often choose not to, the ATL ladies are experts in elegant insults. I could see a number of them batting their lashes, smiling big, and congratulating Sonja on picking the very best Alibaba knockoffs for her fashion thing.

I admit I'm hatewatching this rerun because I now despise Dorinda. And for someone who thinks that Tinsdale doesn't matter, she spends a whole lot of time screaming about her. Hmmm and now she lies about breaking up with John? Which time were you lying Dorinda, when you filmed or now that you say you never broke up with him?

I read that too.  I found it very strange at the time because you would think that he would have wanted Dorinda to have the property they had in the city.  Certainly he could have compensated his son and daughter monetarily.  Dorinda and Hannah seemed miserable in Dorinda’s old place.  It would have been depressing to be in her old place after living in the brownstone.

As for Dorinda’s behavior, she just won’t back down and admit the bullying.  On forums, Reddit, Instagram and twitter, people are appalled.  Thousands of them.  Her tag line says a lot!

I’ve been a Dorinda fan forever, but lately it is like she’s lost her mind. She went off a season or so ago at the Bethany charity pre-trip dinner, but, she was VERY drunk and I think that was the cause of it then, but, NOW.....it’s too calculated. Too intentional....it seems very scripted to me.  I suspect they had to have some sure fire drama with Bethenny leaving the mix. What I wonder though is about Tinsley....her hurt is real! I think Bravo forgot to let her in on it...not good.

Re: Richard and Dorinda’s townhouse, it’s possible it was left to the son, but Richard’s daughter is the older child, now 30, and the son is now 25. He would have been 16 when Richard died, and the daughter 21. It has been on and off the market once or twice in the last 9 years. They all lived there together as a family of 5. I think it was probably a stipulation of the will that the townhouse would be sold and Dorinda/Hannah would get their own place, and the two older children would have a permanent home with their mother. Dorinda does appear to have a loving relationship with her step-children (and Hannah).

So, who knows what people think when it comes to wills.  You would think he would let Dorinda and Hannah stay in the townhouse, and his two kids go with their Mother, wherever she lived.  Maybe he figured he gave her Bluestone Manor, but I doubt Dorinda and Hannah Would make it their only home.  They are city girls.  She would have loved the Brownstone uptown.  I’ll bet that was a blow to her, unless I’m getting the wrong reading from this.  Who knows what he was thinking at the time.  My Father left his house to one sister and me, and left the other one out.  I told the lawyer I would probably give the left out sister a share, but he told me “ no” my Father was very firm with that.  I think he may have been giving her money all along.  People have their reasons.  My sister never said anything, so I guess she did get over the years.

Completely agree about the way Dorinda speaks to Tinsley. Also 100% agree about Sonjia, which disappoints me as I enjoyed her so much for years. She always seemed sweet even if she could get sloppy and inappropriate. Why do these women talk to Tinsley like that?

I heard a lot of negativity about Leah before I started this season, but honestly, so far she comes across as a more decent person than a lot of the cast. Ramona has said cruel things many times. Dorinda can be really aggressive for no reason. Sonja constantly puts down her own "friend." I am a huge RHONY fan, I really am. But the jealousy and bulling, not fun to watch.

Being a widow sounds like one of the most heartbreaking things to go through in life. It's one reason I prefer to date around my own age. But Dorinda has SO much, and your trauma isn't a pass. Some people never get to experience the kind of love she had with Richard. Dorinda also has her heath, beautiful on the outside, lots of money, a daughter, a boyfriend, more than many women.

I think one reason I like LuAnn is because despite any flaws, she never viciously puts down anyone.
