Yes Summer 2.0, Jack will be careful with Rodan’s heart but will Rodan be careful with Jack’s heart. Not only has Rodan stabbed Jack in the heart but his back also.  Give me a break Rodan. Your a new woman now?  I still see the manipulative calculation self centered jealous monster that you have always been.  From the way Rodan talks about Diane, it’s evident to me that the only difference between Rodan and Diane is that Diane is trying to change and Rodan has not even tried.  Hey Rodan, now that you know about Poppin Fresh, when are you going to send him packing?  Buy the way Rodan, you don’t even have one iota of sympathy for Olive.

Speaking of Tara, shouldn’t she be out of jail by now?  First of all it’s a trumped up charge and second she has no prior criminal record.  But it seems that Tara is not coming back because they don’t want a storyline concerning a custody fight. It’s funny how the monkeys with keyboards work were Lily gets only a year for causing the death of Hillary and her unborn child and Tara gets probably more for taking funds from the company she owns.

Hey Poppin Fresh, I thought that Harrison was the best thing that ever happened to you. Now I know that you are being disingenuous to Victor saying Olive was the best thing that ever happened to him.

Nikki calls Diane a professional gold digger but Diane should have quoted Pee-wee Herman and told Nikki, “I know you are but what am I”.  I guess Nikki came from a very wealthy family and was only being a stripper to protest the family wealth.  At the time Victor was only a multimillionaire, so she didn’t think she was a gold digger.  Now we know why Nikki really hates Adam. It’s because Adam is not part of her family and thinks he’s taking money away from Olive and Banana Breath.

I said this before and I will keep saying this until I’m blue in the face but in what world do the monkeys with a keyboard think that Rodan should be in over 75% of every storyline.  Is Rodan a fan favorite?  I don’t think she is but what do I know?  Rodan is nothing more than a boil on your ass or a vaginal wart.

For me … Michelle Stafford is a dripping faucet (constant irritant) and a caricature at this point. Her whispery-histrionics-emoting to Summer today was cringeworthy. She does this to every actor/actress she shares a screen with. It seems an almost deliberate attempt to steal every scene. And she is ruining Jack for me. (actually most of the blame for that goes to the writers)

Her long, face-dragging hair, the what-looks-to-be fake tan. That serves to highlight her super-white teeth. I know, I am at the shallow end of the pool here. I am sure she is very different in real life. And I can’t blame her for the inappropriate clothing choices - that is almost every actress (except Diane) on this show.

Traci, loose lips sink ships! Stop spilling all the beans about Harrison to Diane. That's Kyle's job.

Tee, Nikki and Esther must shop at the same place, the Fuschia Sheath Dress Store. 🤡

So Tara has been reduced to Harrison's "biological mother." They can't even say her name anymore?

Phyllis: I'm a new woman now. I'm the kind of woman who's good for Jack.
Summer: as opposed to the kind of woman who puts her affair with his brother in Jack's face?
Phyllis: well, yes, and also as opposed to the kind of woman who sleeps with her mother's boyfriend. You really wanna do this right now, because I have time.
Summer: oh please, Billy's like the town bike. Every woman gets a ride.
Phyllis: can't argue with that. What did I ever see in him?
The World: Delusion, thy name is Phyllis.

Jack, I can assure you: where this latest thing between you & Phyllis is going is straight into the toilet. Low flow.

And then there's Ashland trying to ply Victor with a big display of contrition. Heh, that's probably the one way that never gets anywhere with TGVN. Victor generally doesn't believe in apologies, giving or getting.

Phyllis is flipping completely out over Diane. And she's scared her cooch won't be a strong enough weapon. Mature adult NuSummer zeroed right in on it.

Ashland trying to say he and Victor are just alike. Pshht. Ashland, you and Victor were never billionaire bros and never will be. Get over yourself.

Wait, what? Nikki thinks Diane is after Kyle's $$$. Didn't see that coming. I mean, Kyle's probably doing okay financially. However, I don't see him as having the kind of "fcuk you" money where he can live a life of leisure indefinitely.

Daaannnggg, Nikki put her whole body into that slap! 🥳🥳🥳 Diane better be careful because Nikki could go Hulk smash! and snap her like a dried out twig.

"My little boy"? Does Summer think Tara is dead? Harrison is her little boy unless going to prison for white collar crime takes away your parental rights.

Oh look, Diane! If you thought Nikki swinging on you was bad, here comes Victor batting clean up. Next time, hon, go to Starbucks.

I missed the slap because Phyllis was in the description of today’s show. Does Phyllis need to be in every single Diane episode? I also can’t with the whole will Jack and Phyllis get back together. Why? There’s no romantic feel left. Same with Nick and Sharon or Nick and Phyllis. I’d rather see Jack meet someone on Match.com. “Successful distinguished gentleman seeks a lady that is feisty, successful and likes to mind her own business”

I am watching "The Lincoln Lawyer" on Neflix; and the ADA (Prosecuting Attorney?) at the trial resembles the actor who played Phyllis' son, Daniel. I think that was his name.  Does anyone know his real name?

I thought MTS looked pretty in that pink dress Nikki was wearing. She's always been able to pull of colors like that which not all people would look good in. It made me think of the 90's when the storylines were better in some ways.

He’s welcome to take the rest of HW/CI with him, and that includes Amanda and Imani. I’ve had it with the whole lot of them.

I'd rather see just Devon leave than Amanda or Imani. Lily I could take or leave but she's gonna have to unload the middle-aged baby sooner or later if I'm to ever find some respect for her. Imani's characterization is getting on my last nerve. Why are they making her thirst for a dude she hardly knows, isn't anything spectacular and most of all isn't single? They have negative 100 chemistry together. Why couldn't they put Imani with Jack? That would have better story potential in Amanda having mediate between her best friend & sister plus Jack wouldn't look so pathetic for getting with Phyllis again. Or with Nick so he'd stay out Sharon's unmoving face, and we wouldn't endure more cringe moments with him being a "cool" superdad  superdud. So many other possibilities than shoehorning a forced love triangle/crush.

I don't believe it either, with that said, MS over the top portrayal of Phyllis almost makes Diane's certain nefarious agenda hard to be mad at. Add in the hypocrisy & righteous indignation from the Newmans  and you've got a small army of #TeamDiane(and Ashland) in the making. This is why they should've never brought her back if the goal was to make Phyllis and the Newman family rootable again. That would take years of decent, consistent writing, but the writers seem to want to take the easy way out.

I should be weirded out that Summer called Harrison her little boy but then I remember the kid's actual mom is glorified lines on a paper and hardly a real character. So meh...Summer will probably be corrected when mini bag of hair gets SORAed to a teen and starts giving her & Kyle crap.

Diane trying to compliment Victoria while the latter was breaking up the fight looked awkward and silly. At least Nikki got her round in before the big spa trip, I can only imagine the holier-than-thou BS Victor has in store for Diane.

Dickvon the auntie-fucker should move to Milan. Or Mars. Or another solar system. In the delta quadrant. They completely destroyed an already craptastic character when they wrote the story line of him stealing Abby's baby. Even if the baby was a cheese log in a knit cap. And now? Where is the spawn? Do they even mention it anymore?

Hilary 2.0 should never have been written into existence. The actress is good, yes, but the character is a flat zero. And that family story they wrote for her - a complicated mess of strangers - who could follow it or possibly care? They have yet to even be integrated into the show. And having her be besties with SyPhyllis is doing her no favors. It's like they have nothing for her to do so she's just taking up space.

And regarding ButtBiscuit... You hit the nail on the head. He's just around them. He's not involved or part of the story, whatever the story is supposed to be. He's more of a wooden nickel than a token.

Little Nate has been a dud since day one. His first incarnation was too sanctimonious. This version is such a boring do-gooder, but he's also coming across as not being very bright. And now he's not even a doctor anymore? AYFKM? I am so disappointed with what they have done with this legacy character. He should be a major player, not a boring reactor. He should have his own story lines and be a romantic lead, for which they would need another recast.

And that woman who ping-ponged back and forth between Dickvon and Little Nate, whatshername, is about as interesting as nothing. Isn't she past due to hop on Dickvon again?

The actress playing Imani is bringing fire, but to what? What is her character even doing here other than being a sounding board to another sounding board? When they all get together and talk, well, I don't know what they are talking about because I just zone out. Then I come-to when the commercials are on and wonder if I missed anything.

Lily. Lily getting out of jail had so much story potential. And an opening for new characters as she could have headed up a reform program and they could have brought in at least one really good bad-girl character. Shades of her mother, Dru's beginnings on the show. It would have been a full circle in a sense. Lily as the mentor, Lily being a wiser and strong woman. Instead, they've written drab crap for Lily and stuck her with ButtBiscuit. Which only makes me wish for that lying pasty-faced Cane to return. I would love to see him return and kick ButtBiscuit to the curb. To be bested by Cane - how low can you go? More fodder for his wee-wee podcast.

Oh for pete's sakes. Three minor points that bug:

1. Chancellor-Winters-Hamilton is supposed to be a huge global(?) corporation. There is no way the co-CEOs, the COO and whatever Nate is supposed to be would be spending this much time planning a party. It would be delegated to the Marketing or whatever team, who would do the actual legwork, then check in with the latest details and make adjustments.

2. The way everyone continues to be impressed by Nate's business ideas, which are hardly cutting edge.

3. Bowie, or whatever his name is, is too old in real time to be constantly in a bassinet or a carriage-style stroller. I get that they don't want to have a baby on set, but they way that they peer at him like he's four weeks old is weird.

Right? Someone his age should be able to sit upright at the very least. And yes, it is strange that they just peer at it instead of interacting. I have to wonder what it looked like to see the stage hand throwing popcorn (or whatever they feed that baby that can't even sit up yet) at Hair Bag's face. Does the baby have teeth yet? I don't think I'd feed popcorn to someone without teeth who is always flat on his back.

Are they going to go somewhere with him and Imani? Why? Will it be out of his desperation? I wish they had cast an actor with a handsome face in the role. I don't care what happens to this frumpy-faced guy. He stupidly stopped being an amazing doctor/surgeon/faith-healer saving lives and the world for a cushy job that involves nothing but meetings on couches and at coffee shops and pulling ideas out of his ass. He is really full of himself. And regarding his great idea, if I was going to attend this gala or whatever, I would want to hear big name performers that were accomplished, not your current crop of nobodies who do songs that no one knows yet and may or may not make it. I can go to a local bar for that.

Believe me when I’m not saying this out of malice but when Devon said Bowie was looking kind of pale, I had a little chuckle as to what Devon actually meant by that.

What I don’t get is how in the world is Diane going to be a worse influence on Harrison than Rodan. Rodan is far far from being loving and naturing.  Victor will teach Harrison how to be a chess master while Rodan will teach Harrison how to be a narcissist.

Abby Abby Abby, please tell me what athletic ability does Devon have?  Is there sports Devon played that we know nothing about?

Yes Rodan, kick out Diane but allow Poppin Fresh to stay. I’m sure it’s because Diane directly affects her and Poppin Fresh affects Olive. But does Rodan know that Poppin Fresh also affects her via Kyle and Summer?  I’m quite sure Rodan knows  that Summer and Kyle doesn’t want Poppin Fresh to see Harrison so why isn’t he sent packing?

The GCAC still exists and it’s even more expensive than the Grand Albatross.  Of course it is because it’s a 5 star hotel while the Grand Albatross is only a 2 star hotel because the ownership brings it down 2 stars.

It actually warms the cockles of my heart when Rodan becomes more and more unhinged. Bravo Kyle bravo for keeping Diane in town. There is a song by the Peaches called “Fuck the Pain Away”. I’m quite sure that’s what that jealous green eyed monster, Rodan,  is going to do. Jack will have to keep a major supply of Viagra on hand.

Anyone got an estimate on how many more times we're going to have to watch people tell Diane about herself? It's getting old to me, and not in a good way.

Devon doesn't know what sunscreen looks like on baby skin. Ehhhh. 🙄

That's what happens when you show up unannounced where you're not wanted, Mr. Locke. You think you're gonna throw down with the Abbotts over Harrison? Good luck with that.

First Noah, now Chance. All these impressionable young men listening to Billy's podcast and taking counsel from it. Oy. Smells like the makings of an emo baby-man cult, with Billy serving the tainted kool-aid. 😵

Nate had on a gray tie today. Wow, were all his purple ones dirty? Meanwhile, I loved the way he was looking at Imani like, "Are you dense? I have a girlfriend. Stop trying."

PhantomDominic was giggling up a storm at Chance. Adorable.

Looked like Abby and Chance were on the verge of having a discussion about nature vs. nuture wrt wee Dom. The kid can't even walk yet. This is the sound of my head exploding.

Lily said she's going to San Diego to meet with Jill. Not sure whether I want that to be on camera since Jill's been virtually drinking Lily's bath water of late. 🤨

Imani was eavesdropping on the small C-W turf battle between Devon and Nate. She's probably going to try to work it to her advantage but how?

Now what, Phyllis? Kyle wants Diane to stay in town. Guess you'll have to nag Summer and Jack even more than you already have. Or you could just mind your own business.

Nate: Devon, you need my help as COO on the accounting matter you mentioned?
Devon: nah, cuz. Fcuk off. Oops, what I meant to say was, "have a nice day." As COO.
Nate: <gulp>

This budding internecine warfare between the Winters crew et al over their respective responsibilities at C-W may bring the company to its knees. Or at least undo the merger if Devon decides to take his ball and go home. <fingers crossed>

Jabot has corporate suites at GCAC, doesn't it? If Diane's going to be staying there, I wonder whether we'll get to see that set again or if it'll just be another generic hotel room.

Okay, Imani's working the family rivalry angle with Nate. But I don't think she realizes how deep and far back the boundary and envy issues among the Barbers, Winters, and Hamiltons go.

Trouble in paradise for Billy & Lily? Hah hah hah! IMO Billy should tell Lily to take her legacy fantasy, squeeze it into a tiny ball, dip it in Sriracha sauce, and shove it up where the sun don't shine. And then he should remind her who actually owns the company. 😈

Sigh, I've had about all I can take of Phyllis' banshee shrieking over Diane, especially since it seems to be turning into weird foreplay between her and Jack. 🤮

For example:  Victor wooed Diane away from Jack and married her himself.  Nikki was shot by her current/late husband's ex wife (the ex wife shot and killed him) and was in critical condition.  Victor thought the only way for Nikki to die happy was for him to remarry her.  He convinced Diane to give him a quickie divorce so he could remarry Nikki.  He promised to remarry Diane once Nikki kicked the bucket.  That obviously didn't happen and Diane was kicked to the curb.

How could Jack NOT be both intrigued and a bit turned on?  This is the CHANGED Phyllis, the one we keep hearing about.

I know I'm a believer.

Though, as Waldo13 has said, she might, just might, frighten Harrison so much with that fixed stare from those unblinking eyes, the oversized, shiny teeth and that "I could eat you up - literally" creepy grin, his hair could fall out.  So, all in all, not a bad thing.

Devon pulled a classic dick move on Nate Natey Nate Nate Businessman Nate with his pissy comments about how he should have been approached before Lily, and then, when Nate asked - respectfully, IMO, to know why, as he apologized, Devon says "Don't have the time right now".  First of all, Devon, chastise your guy one on one, not in front of someone else: to do otherwise is a prickish thing to do.  Secondly, don't tell someone they did something wrong unless or until you have the time to tell them WHY.

Don't be an asshole boss.  The egos masquerading as heads floating around the Chancellor/Winters executive team are like hydrogen bombs ready to go off.

Take a cue from you sister, Devon, and rip Nate a new one behind closed doors the way Lily did with ButtBiscuit!  That was fun for the whole family, though it was also fun to see Lily's "I OWN THE WORLD" attitude get a reality check.  It's about time she realized that bad smell in the air around her is emanating from the skid mark she's living with.

The first 10 minutes were lost due to the press conference. I don’t know what happened in those first 10 minutes to put Chelsea in Rodan territory of being unhinged.  With that said, Sally has more talent and more creativeness than Chelsea could wish for in her dream of dreams.

Rodan the Unhinged now wants Summer to influence Kyle in having nothing to do with Diane.  I think it’s Summer who should try to deal with less of her mother. So far it seems that Summer is putting Rodan the Unhinged in her place and supporting Kyle’s decision to give Diane a chance. Rodan the Unhinged is such an in you face talker, I was waiting for Summer to have to wipe her face from her mothers venom.

Rodan the Unhinged, Dina couldn’t hurt Jack more because she was at the end of her life?  Rodan the Unhinged couldn’t be more wrong. For Jack to watch his mom waste away from Alzheimer’s and die in home actually devastated Jack. Once again Rodan the Unhinged is being her self centered self. Wow!  Kudos Summer for calling your mother out. Rodan the Unhinged your the one who’s playing the emotion card. Your the one playing on Summer’s emotions between her mother and her husband and she is doing a pretty good job on Jack.  For now, Jack is more concerned with Kyle’s feelings than Rodan the Unhinged’s feelings. Let’s see how long that lasts but according to coming attractions, Victor is now putting pressure on Summer to undermine Kyle.

It was so great to see a suite at the GCAC. As classy as ever and worth every bit of the higher cost of a Grand Albatross room. The Ritz vs Motel 6.

Huh, I don't remember Summer and Chloe being all that chummy before either. They really are taking the Summer character in a different direction.

Adam was actually smiling. What sorcery is this?

Lol, Summer sees through her mommy's act like she's made of Saran wrap. Phyllis'  attempts at deflection always end up back on OH NOES DIANE! and can be detected from Mars.

Good grief, someone must've peed in crazypants Chelsea's corn flakes his morning. Anyone seen that brat Connor lately?

Look at how cocky Diane is now that she's made significant inroads with Kyle and gained access to Harrison. Hmmm. Two Abbott males down, one to go. The oldest one. 😐

Phyllis needs to tone down her shrillness. I think she's pretty much becoming the Cassandra of the Diane situation and eventually everyone will stop listening to her.

"Dee-Dee"? Oh, Diane. 🙄 That move reminded me of when All My Chldren's perpetual MILF turned GILF, Miriam Colby, insisted her granddaughter call her "Mimi" instead instead of Grandma. Of course Harrison should be consistent and call his step-grandmother "Pee-Pee."

Phyllis, lowkey shading Summer's husband is definitely not the way you want to go. And BTW, did you get your forehead lowered...again?

Countdown to when Jack is showing up at Diane's GCAC suite for a tryst. She's been working him like a pro. Rabid Red will wish she'd kept Diane at the Gloomy Parfait where she could monitor her better.

Word to Diane: If you kidnap HairySon be sure he get's a haircut. That way when the Amber Alert goes out, he'll be unrecognizable for sure.

Ugh MWT, no one was wishing for a Kyle and Chelsea chem test. Just let it go already.

I wasn't even aware they knew each other.  When has Kyle had anything to do with Chelsea, other than "oh right, my wife caused your miscarriage when she crashed her car into yours during one of her temper tantrums and she was punished with a brand new car"?  I guess Chelsea is going to be Marchetti's new lead designer, pushing this show even further into science-fiction territory.  Is that word you all use..."shmotta" an actual word or a Preverted invention?  Either way, it cracks me up every time I see it and Mrs. Roper pops in my mind.

I can't believe that I'm actually feeling a little bad for Summer.  All of these people worried that Diane is manipulating Kyle are pressuring Summer to intervene by...manipulating Kyle.  I'm glad that she sees through it and is deciding just to support her husband.  For now, anyway.  This Summer is pretty tolerable.  Shocking, but true!

So, a Milan fashion house is going to move operations to...Wisconsin?  That will do wonders for the brand, really.

How the Abbotts- never mind supposedly brilliant, scheming Phyllis- didn't see Diane's plan a mile away I don't get.  They're giving her exactly what she wants by playing hardball with Kyle and making her seem like the victim.

Since pretty much everyone else involved are assholes, I've been pretty sympathetic to Diane thus far.  The scene with her referencing Harrison at the end was super creepy, though.  I wouldn't mind her going full heel except that it'll have Phyllis and Victor in the right yet again.

Speaking of, are they overstating the rivalry Phyllis and Diane used to have?  Because I never really heard much reference of Diane as Phyllis's great enemy or anything like that, but she's seriously shook right now.

A few random toughts:

Sally looked great with her long hair pulled back. Best I've ever seen her.

While I thought Chelsea looked good in the brown outfit, it was way too winter for this time of year.

I am liking that they are dressing Ashland casually. Not many people go around in suits 24/7 not even executives.

I like the direction they have taken the new Summer. Could not stand the sight of old Summer.

Isn't Ashland still the legal father of Harrison?

Yeah, it's seeming more and more to me that the main reason Diane was brought back was to give Phyllis a storyline. Scene after scene of Phyllis going batsh!t over Diane is starting to look like a shameless Emmy grab IMO.

IKR? My immediate reaction was to wonder whether she forgot it's spring instead of fall. Most of the other women have been dressing like it's summer for months now. Bare arms and shoulders even when there should be low temperatures if not snow in WI.

Meh. Apparently someone told him his butt looks great in those dad jeans because we repeatedly get treated to his posing to show the side and rear view. I keep thinking though that denim is not particularly tasty served on pancakes. Yeah I said it Ashland, come at me. 😉

I had to read about the past history of Diane to find out why everyone hates her especially Rodan the Unhinged. As I thought, Rodan was the initial aggressor in their relationship mainly because of her jealousy of Diane’s relationship with Jack.  Rodan the Unhinged and Jack and Rodan the Unhinged sued for custody of Kyle but didn’t get it and I’m quite sure that pissed Rodan the Unhinged off to no end but not as much when she and Jack finally got custody, of Kyle, but Jack gave Kyle back to Diane and they went to Chicago to live. In a way Jack sort of abandoned Kyle by not keeping him close in GC.

As I said before, from back in the day until the present, Rodan the Unhinged is  motivated by jealousy which causes her to be very spiteful.

Victor and Jack are complicit in the way Diane retaliated to their nefarious acts and played quite a bit with her emotions.

Nikki was jealous of Diane’s and Victor’s relationship which led to their contentious relationship.

Diane stood up to the snobs of GC and that’s why they hate her so much. They tell a one sided story to make Diane into a raging lunatic but the only real raging lunatic, in GC, is Rodan the Unhinged.

Same here. When they were talking like friends, I was wracking my brain trying to remember if they EVER had a conversation with each other. Then he's all Aunt Jack or Mrs. Butterworth with her, honey tell me what's really bothering you. And I swear, they're not friends.

As I have previously said, I like long hair on dudes but he could stand a little styling.

Let's see if this link works. I happened across a tutorial for jailhouse make-up. And of course I had to think of our dear Lily when she was in the slammer and using glitter off her greeting cards for her jailhouse make-up. Perhaps the company Lily presides over could add this line to their portfolio and start competing with Jabot. Katherine and Neil would be so proud. It's what they would have wanted.

I think the bigger point is, now that Rey Rey is dead TIIC figures that poor little put upon Chelsea will need somebody's husband to fuck. So why not have Kyle cheat on Summer with that narratively overrated con artist, just as Summer's been recast to a likeable, decent human being? Damn it show.....

It's just a theory but I'm calling it now.

Yep! And thing is if he was really worried about something like denting his ego then why'd he agree to the merger at all? His shitty attitude/behavior toward Amanda for not telling him about her sick mother as she had just found out herself made me cringe but I saw it coming, and he can honestly jump off a bridge. I also called Dickvon becoming even more an asshole once he got his way with stealing Abby and Chance's baby. This is how he treats people that had his back during that deplorable crusade of his? Amanda in particular, because in hindsight she got way more shit than she deserved in that situation IMO. It was Dickvon's choice at the end of the day. As we've seen since this merger, he has no problem, telling people off, voicing his own opinion & sticking to it. He's only going to become more insufferable, or at least I hope so because this dumbass merger can't fall apart soon enough.

A couple of weeks ago Victor was explaining why everyone hated Diane to someone who didn't know Diane or her history, but failed to mention that he had married Diane and raised Kyle until he was ~10, thinking he was Kyle's faaather.  🙄
