Covid is a blessing to Show in that they have an excuse not to have hospital scenes or all-inclusive events that cost major bucks.  Storylines come and go in one week or one episode that Bill Bell would have taken years and decades to resolve.

It's not a good idea to write in real life pregnancies. If anything goes wrong then it is too much to ask of the actress to go on with the story line. That happened on Married With Children. So if she is pregnant then you can expect her to be carrying big things in front of her and standing behind couches.

There was also a rerun of The Bold and The Beautiful day which had Sally at her whimsical best self as an established designer facing off against Forester Creations at a charity fashion show in Monte Carlo.  Sally actually won the fashion show but Bill Spencer declared it a tie because he said there was a computer glitch.  In the episode, Sally was no shrinking violet in standing toe to toe against Bill Spencer about wanting the building that housed Spectra Fashions for his own.

MS/Phyllis should have kept her natural teeth. We had a classic episode today with lots of flashbacks. Several scenes with Phyllis before she got her bluish, extra white veneers. Her teeth looked much better than the do now.

I enjoyed today's episode with the retrospective scenes so much. The actors that play Victor, Jack, Phyllis, and Nikki brought so much energy to their roles then, that in comparison they seem to be just dialling them in now. The sets were also much more detailed and classy. Sad what this show has become.

Why am I just noticing how dark brown Abby's hair is?

Everyone sitting around downstairs fretting. No one being up there with their collective baby, comforting it, or letting it feel their presence. The baby that should be in the hospital. And now they're going to pack it up and ship it to Dickvon's. So why did Dickvon go out with Hilmanda and the world's two most boring doctors? That's really confusing. Did Dickvon leave the baby in the car? And what time of the day is it? Are these people living in a casino?

Recasting Asshat at this point in the story has totally taken the wind out of its sails. Here's this new entirely different Asshat who has no chemistry whatsoever with mop. And mop actually had chemistry with the previous actor, in fact the previous actor was the best thing that ever happened to her. Really stupid move. The story is so meaningless now. New guy, new take on the character, fail as a mate for mop, viewers are left trying to figure him out now, complete interruption in the story. It's like going back and starting at zero again, yet the story is supposed to be coming to a head. Way to sabotage yourself, show.

"Hello? This is Bag, Bag O'Hair. Speedy Gonzales referred you to me. I'd like to make an appointment. Okay, thank you." Who the heck gets a doctor appointment that easily? Certainly not real humans. Nothing on this show is the least bit believable. 

Sharin's hair and Sally's hair  - hideous. Looks like neither one of them has washed it in a few weeks.

Poor Jack, he had to find out through a memorial website that Keemo is dead. Fuck you show for killing Keemo. You should have killed off your epic fail recastAsshat.

It would be better if Keemo is in hiding or some other stupid shit and this is just a rouse, but I have no faith in the MWTs, and making viewers think Keemo died is just being mean to us. If that's the story they were going to go with then they should have showed us that Keemo is alive somewhere first and with an explanation shown through the scene and dialog. Then showing us Jack finding the memorial website would have had more impact, and impact in a good way.

Why are TIIC making Abby talk like she’s an imbecile. Bowie’s first couple days are critical because of infection and complications but Abby has to say that he’s more comfortable at home and in his own crib. No Abby, Bowie is 1000 times better off if he stayed in the hospital where treatment would be immediate if complications do arise. How far is this 🐂💩 going to go. Now Devon has a nursery in his home also to be ready to transfer him back and forth without regard for what contaminants Bowie can pick up during transportation. Bowie should be isolated for at least a week because his immune system will be weakened. Once again I have to ask what the hell is Natey Nate Nate doing there in examining Bowie.  This whole Bowie illness crap is summed up in 24 hours with one quick examination by Natey Nate Nate and Dr Austin. His vital signs are good and there doesn’t seem to be an infection and his enzymes just needs to be tested. Hey Natey Nate Nate and Dr Austin what about tests for Bowie’s red cell count?  The bone marrow transplant takes way more than 24hrs for red blood cells start to increase.  Natey Nate Nate was right about limiting visitors and visitation but he should of recommend 😷. 

In so many ways Sally is a lot better and has more of an incite into Adam than Sharon. Sally’s real world dealings with “elitist” has made her more intuitive and a student of human nature than most.  I bet that Sally could even fix Chance 2.0.  

Amanda, your the one that’s talking? Didn’t you just enter corporate America?  So your advice is really mute. 

Nikki is the ultimate defender of Olive and by proxy, also has to defend Ashland the Neckless. Is it was Adam, Nikki would be bastardizing him to no end.  

Did you see the look in Olive’s face when Ashland the Neckless said that he wants to be equals. It looked like the stick went a little bit deeper up her ass and has now entered her ego; but now the stick slips and ego be damned. Olive capitulations to Ashland the Neckless’ demand.  Still no kiss, just a hug. There is one thing about going to war with Victor. He always brings a gun to a knife fight.  

As I thought, Keemo is dead and it’s a grandchild or great grandchild reaching out to Jack. I also agree that Rodan the Petty’s teeth have a blue tint to them.

I just checked IMDb and found out Keemo (Philip Moon) only appeared in 6 episodes of Y&R and it was back in 1994-1995.  I’ve watched this show forever, and I remember this character and his storyline fairly well but I thought he was on much more.  IMDb HAS to be wrong.  Right?

Yep, IMDB got that very wrong.  He was a pretty consistent presence in the almost two years he was onscreen.

Today was pretty much a FF day again, with the emphasis on Baby Whosit and the Father Knows best groupies.  I'm hoping Amanda is seeing all this with her eyes wide open.  For all his soft-spoken  Uriah Heep impressions, she has to notice that Devon always gets what he wants.  He just stands there, waiting, metaphorically or in reality, until whoever it is folds and give him what he wants.  Ludicrous as his wishes or beliefs may be, he doesn't give ground, no matter how hard he tries to appear laid back and easy.   Does she really want to tie herself to someone so profoundly self-centered?

Show feels overrun with almost middle aged men who have the female inhabitants of Genoa City eager and willing to always fold their wants into whatever wishes these dude bros have, willing to step aside, step away, pave the way, sign, seal and deliver whatever it takes to keep their emotional jock itch in check.

Okay, I think this is a valid interpretation of Devon's behavior but I'm failing to see the problem. If Abby were taking this approach with him it seems to me the Devon haters would be okay with it if it meant Devon didn't get what he wants.

I'd actually like to see Devon and Billy in a poker game because AFAIC Devon is hella good at bluffing and no one ever calls him on it. Abby certainly has the resources to step to Devon so she should do it if she has a problem with the way things are playing out wrt Dominic. Maybe after Chance starts getting therapy he'll be strong enough to back her up.

Otherwise, I'm fine with the current co-parenting arrangement between Abby, Chance, and Devon. I don't at all see Abby or Chance as victims or Devon as a big bad bully. He's just one guy and he's not omnipotent.

I agree.  But why Show has decided to go the route of Abby self-isolating and always giving in makes no sense, especially since this is a new look for her, to say the least.  In doing so, she's not getting any of the support she usually would from her family and friends and Bag of Hair has been no help.  She's become another Genoa City woman stuck in a supporting role in her own life.

I do fault Devon for not checking himself.  He seemed happy to let Amanda or Lily or Chance brush aside his occasional doubts about his actions very easily.  

 Mariah, it seems, has been excised from Team Baby Chancellor, which is all to the good for her character.

If there was a purpose to the storyline, I've failed to see it.  Good storyline it surely hasn't been, IMO.  

I'm hoping da baby is SORASED and in boarding school by next week.

What are Lily, Billy, and Amanda smoking?  They’re talking about this potential merger as a joining together to create a new “family” company.  Lily doesn’t own CI.  She’s employed by CI.  Yes, she’s running the company but she’s running it FOR Jill.  I’m not presently a fan of Devon, because of the Dom fiasco, but I hope he stays away from this merger.

Also, Amanda is pushing him yet again.  First, with encouraging him to get closer to Dom when he was totally unsure and now with this business decision.  What’s up with her?

I think I can claim to be a ButtBiscuit hater with decent cred, but even I can't feel anything other than a little dismayed that Show has once again, for the umpteenth time, decided we veiwers are clamoring for that odiferous, concave-chested, swizzlestick- legged, beady-eyed, slope-nosed twerp with two whale-sized blowholes for nostrils to feature this guy droning on about himself, this time through a podcast.

That's a lawsuit for ear worms just waiting to happen.

Why Lily doesn't just get him a JustFans account and let him monetize his constant need to masturbate in public is beyond me.  The apartment couldn't possibly smell any worse.

She'd better throw in a free magnifying glass with each purchase, though.

I thought Lily's carefully crafted Valley Over-the-Hill Gurl was going to crack into a million pieces when Devon told her no about combining the companies.  I guess all that oxygen Jill has been blowing up her ass really went to her head.  First decision Devon's made since he filled up that cup at Sperms R Us for Team Chancellor that made any sense.  Congrats to the writing staff for at least have the sense to NOT have Devon be the one to anoint the discussion with "Neil would have loved it".  I'm glad it was left to Lily to be the one to frost that tired banana.

Amanda's remark about Devon wanting more time with Dom was within the parameters of their fucked up relationship until she said he'd been "more than generous" not calling in his weekly sleepover.  Good choice, since Abby and Chance weren't taking the little hamburgler to DisneyLand, the kid WAS GETTING A BONE MARROW TRANSPLANT.  Saying he was more than generous not to drag an infant out of a sick bed to have a play date with Devon was ridiculously stupid.

Best person of the day was Imani, who actually sounded like a lawyer, until she got shut down by all the knuckleheads in the room.  She barely got out the only line about this merger that actually made sense before they hushed her silent.  First rule for Imani is, never make sense with this group.

Wasn't that special, the way Lily gushed over a photo of Neil.  Did she forget she also had a mother who would be proud of her, and that mother actually lived long enough to witness and share in the invention of the photograph?  Most people who display photos of parents, especially parents who have died, tend to put up pictures of both of them, unless your late mother was Joan Crawford or Ma Barker.

CBS really won't give Victoria Rowell the time of day EVER, it seems.  

The residuals for using her photograph can't possibly cost more than the stick up Victoria's behind does.
