TobinAlbers December 20, 2021 Share December 20, 2021 Victor's brain injury was the only time I legit liked him and bought a friendship between him and Jack. EB was amazing during that time; and a good actor too since he is on record as hating that story but he totally sold it for me. Has it occurred to Billy and Lily how his 'fake sprialing' will affect her and her taking over Chancellor Industries? Looking at it from the outside I'm seeing Lily Winters Ashby, who was doing a great job of moving on from her prison stint for the accidental death of her former-sister-in-law and her unborn child, to start fresh at ChanceComm working with Billy Abbott only to fall into legal issues due to his war with NewmanMedia which ultimately undermined the integrity of ChanceComm which is now just waiting for a takeover because it's a lame fish in shark infested waters. Lily has publicly stood by her co-worker, a recovering addict whose issues got him tossed from his own family company, Jabot, under rumors of embezzlement and mismanagement and has now failed upward into running Chancellor Industries due to her boy toy's mother handing her the keys to the kingdom. Now, I like Lily and I root for her but outside looking at this mess she's got a tough road to hoe in proving herself to her new peers and the world at large. But on top of this current mess, outsiders are going to see this woman as she's trying to take over this company, be distracted by her partner's very public and worsening spiral into booze, gambling, and very public scenes of confrontation with his former wife and her new husband and his rival, Adam Newman. If she stands by her man you're gonna question her judgement, if she breaks up with him you're gonna wonder how focused she can be to handle Chancellor Industries. Billy's actions are gonna have direct consequence for Lily, Chancellor Industries, and a whole bunch of other people and he doesn't care. Also Billy, anyone paying attention knows Victor and Adam are shady as hell; they don't need you to tell them that they lack morals. Man, please. Jack is right - Billy has loads of opportunities to prove himself and vindicate himself against Victor and Adam. He doesn't want to take them because he wants to continue his vendetta with Victor and Adam. Ask Jack where trying to play tit for tat landed him, Billy? I get it, it's hard to let it go when it comes to Victor and Adam, but unless you put them 6 ft under, it's not gonna end well for you. And even then, they'd have won in breaking you into going that far. They're breaking you NOW. Billy seems like he wants to destroy himself taking down the Newmans and doesn't care who he takes down with him as he sees it as a noble pursuit that everyone around him should be on board with. He's nuts. I do wish Jack had allowed Adam to tell his side; although yeah Adam did go in on this to get back at Billy for the expose. Why shouldn't/wouldn't he? Why is that not seen as an attack on Adam which had the fallout of hurting Sharon and Faith? The 'truth' had been out there for people to know about if they wanted to put the dots together; there was no reason for Billy to stir that pot other than because he wanted to strike out at Adam. Again, makes sense given Delia, but lets know act like that either party is up to anything GOOD with their pissing match. Uh, is Victor laying the groundwork for Chance to claim his birthright and go after Chancellor himself to get it out of Lily and Billy's hands? His nudging him away from police work with the guilt trip is leading to something. If not Chancellor Industries then to what end? And also Jill ain't gonna like Victor using her grandson as a pawn in his battle with Billy. 3 17 Link to comment

peacheslatour December 20, 2021 Share December 20, 2021 Is Nostrils serous with this shit? And Lily sits there with a straight face like she thinks his harebrained idea is perfectly legit. Just when I thought Show couldn't get any stupider. I want Billy to go down in flames, fail so spectacularly that he never opens his mouth again. Joimiaroxeu December 20, 2021 Share December 20, 2021 Are we ever going lay eyes upon Society's new cook, Pamela? Loved the style of Amanda's dress if not the color. Meanwhile, I don't think that skirt was doing Phyllis any favors unless she wanted her hips to look wider. Not everyone can pull off horizontal stripes. Nate and Elena are finally moving in together. Does that mean we'll get see Nate's remodeled house or will they be moving into a suite at the Grungy Pitchfork? 🤔 I will laugh so hard if Dominic calls Devon "Da Da" while Chance and Abby are looking on. It'll serve Abby right for being such a Pollyanna about the situation. Geez, all these feelz between Nick and Phyllis about the Christmas gifts. Wonder what kind of present Phyllis got for Jack, her cooch in a box? 🐟🌮 That's Billy big plan? To fake falling apart and then sue Newman Media when they publish the story of his downfall? Somehow I don't think that'll stand up in court once he has to admit he deliberately set them up by putting on an act. Then NM's next story will be how utterly deranged Billy is. Essence of Nicholas, aka Skunk Piss Eau de Toilet. Ugh. 🤮 So wee Dominic is into ASMR. Ehhhh, he's going to be a special child. I thought Chance looked like a male escort trailing after Abby the cougar, lol. He's so noticeably younger than her now. The show really needs to acknowledge it IMO. Was Devon looking a little wistful when he found out Elena and Nate were going to be shacking up? Hmm. 😐 Guess Jack and Adam aren't buddies anymore. Gee, who will Jack call the next time he needs help with some dead hooker disposal? Okay, I didn't hate Lily's dress though it was in that sparkly fabric I do loathe. She was working it well. 3 14 Link to comment

Waldo13 December 20, 2021 Share December 20, 2021 Nostrils the Weasel your story is so full of holes that Finlandia Swiss Cheese will be proud of. First of all, Adam and Victor are far more of a formidable opponent than Ashland. Second, Nostrils the Weasel has many prior incidents of going off the rails than what he’s planning to do now plus how is Nostrils the Weasel going to explain, in a law suit, that he was just faking when there will be many witnesses to the fact that Nostrils the Weasel was not faking his downfall and it was just Nostrils being Nostrils. Yes Lily and Nostrils the Weasel, you have learned your leases about going up against Ashland but not Adam and Victor well mostly Victor. Let’s see Adam and Victor 10 or so, Nostrils the Weasel 0, nada, nothing, zilch. When you seek revenge, did two graves, but in Nostrils the Weasel’s world, only one is required. Lily thinks that Nostrils the Weasel has a reputation to ruin in the first place. Wasn’t his reputation already ruined with the Ashland article? Not only is Abby being her incentive self but Devon is also being incentive towards Chance 2.0 by gushing how much of a caretaker and maybe a better dad than he can be towards Bowie. No no no Jack, it’s what Nostrils the Weasel does to himself. It just bother me to no end how people are viewed in GC. Adam and Sally can sprout wings and a halo and they are still viewed with horns and a pitchfork. While Rodan the Petty, Nostrils the Weasel, Chloe , and Chelsea have become paragons of virtue. 13 Link to comment

This woman ran down Paul and Christine, left the man impotent, killed her son's baby-sitter among a host of other things. Has she forgotten she aided Adam in his drugging/switching the drugs for Victor a few years ago? That she even quirks her lips to say ANYTHING to him when he could blow her out of the water with Nick and Jack is something else. Chloe and Billy has total rights to hate Adam forever. What they don't have rights to do is repeatedly try to kill him and/or harass him. Chloe actually figured that out after the 5th time and Adam benched her butt for a while; she toned it down; Billy just ramped it back up to eleven and hasn't looked back. And even if Billy is vindicated somehow, he will always feel the need in his mind to 'pro-actively' attack Victor and/or Adam to protect himself from their retaliation. Chelsea apparently benefits from comparison to the black hole that is Adam so that she doesn't seem so bad as everyone is so preoccupied with him, but the show wants us to forget that girlfriend was a pawn of Victor's that set Billy up to go to prison - but not before raping him while he was drunk/drugged and ending up pregnant with Johnny. Chelsea ain't no saint by any means but once she hooked up with Adam she was seen as his victim instead of a woman complicit in the direction of their relationship and wholly of sound mind. I did like that Sharon was giving her the stink eye and wasn't too warm towards her in her accepting her apologies. Emotional affair or not, Chelsea clocked Sharon upside the head and left her for dead once upon a time and most recently broke into her home and stole from her and poisoned her husband. She continues to suck. 1 14 Link to comment

boes December 21, 2021 Share December 21, 2021 (edited) I can't thank Show enough for the gift it gave us today - Essence of Nicholas. Now, distilled for personal use only is the undiluted smell of gym lockers, unwashed board shorts, jars full of toenail clippings sweetened with the overtones of cheap cherry schnapps. It could be a whole line of items, from wines to scented candles to scented kitty litter and bug bombs. It's an idea that will never die. ButtBiscuit thinks that the Ashland article destroyed his reputation as the "promising young CEO"?? He's NEVER HAD that reputation to begin with? First of all, where is this "public" that gives a rats ass about him or his reputation? (Show does this all the time, not just with him - who other than themselves cares about ANY of these people??) Has this mythical public forgotten how he tanked Brash and Sassy, messed up at Jabot and then came back and did it again when he got bounced out of the CEO's chair? How about when he bought Jaboat? That spot of embezzlement? Running around in those skinny jeans and white tennies sure as hell never helped. ButtBiscuit is a legend in his own mind - just as delusional in his self-regard as Victor is. But much less effectual. Even to those dwindling few who might be interested, ButtBiscuit fucking up his life and bringing grief to those around him will not come as either a surprise or a shock. Finding out that even that is a lie won't even register. Billy, you can't destroy a reputation when you already possess none. ACK! The second I hear the name "Dominic" I hit the ff before whoever saying the name can get to the "ic" part. LALALALALALA, fingers in my ears, I can't hear you! I see no babies, no babies here. Sorry Elena - you can't stand the smell of food cooking in the morning?? Begone with you and your color-coordinated closet. Give me bacon or give me ...... sausage?? I bet that by now Chance is really regretting ever being rescued. Every time there's a knock at the door of the Chancellor Mansion, a little more of his soul is excised and destroyed. Oh look, now it's Victor who's come to tell him he has to modify his life to fit Abby's needs and expectations. Hiding out in Majorca never looked so good. I sure hope so he is Phillip Chancellor the IV, and besides living in the Chancellor mansion there is nothing “Chancellor” about him. Instead of carrying on the Chancellor legacy by having Phillip Chancellor V he’s in a depressing tug of war over who’s going to spend the most time with Devon’s bio-kid. Is this supposed to be interesting? I have no desire to watch Chance raise Devon’s child. Chance was just the wrong character to pick to father some else’s bio-child because history tells us it’s HIS DNA that’s the prize not Devon’s. The police department is a dead-end job. So, if Victor laying the groundwork for Chance to get out of GCPD I’m behind him 100%. There’s nothing for Paul or Rey to do, what the heck would adding Chance accomplish? Chance’s bad luck at the GCPD (being shot), and almost being blown to smithereens on his mission should be a turning point in his life. He should welcome a change into business. It will be more exciting than issuing parking tickets and rescuing cats out of trees in Genoa City. Quote And also Jill ain't gonna like Victor using her grandson as a pawn in his battle with Billy. Skarzero December 21, 2021 Share December 21, 2021 I think the reason this Abby/Dominic/Chance/Storyline was shoved down our throat's is obviously TPTB didn't want Abby to be the only one of Victor Newman's children not to have any kids. Which makes it even stupider because between Nick, Adam, and Victoria the Newman clan has more than enough grandkids running around, they didn't have to make Abby contribute. Not every legacy kid has to have a kid. At the very least they could've dialed down Abby's hurriedness and just allowed Chance to regain his fertility in a year or two. Or have an anonymous sperm donor that we would never have to hear from again. Instead of dragging Mariah(one of the few good characters the show had), Abby and Devon through the mud over this crappy storyline. 1 hour ago, Waldo13 said: Nostrils the Weasel acts like Adam killed DD on purpose. But then entered a relationship with Phyllis? Who actually did run someone over on purpose because of her obsession with Danny? Preach! What's also hardly mentioned is Lily getting Hilary and her own unborn niece/nephew killed by being spiteful & petty (maybe we should've seen her relationship with Buttbiscuit coming) over things that Devon had pretty much settled himself. That whole fiasco was way less of an accident, though I accept that it was, than what happened to Delia. As it was in broad daylight and Lily wouldn't stop berating a 8 or so months pregnant woman long enough to focus on driving. Sometimes, I find it a bit irksome that Devon even still talks to her. Noah Noah Noah, Tessa’s album cover still sucks even without the blue splotches. The background is way to busy and the placement of her face makes it look like she’s hooked up to a electrical device. This is Tessa’s first album, simplicity would be the best. Tessa holding her guitar with the brick wall behind her would be much better. Even better would be Tessa sitting on the fire escape holding her guitar. Nostrils the Weasel actually thinks he’s important enough for NM to turn into “The Enquirer” and write a hit piece on him the way he wanted to expose Ashland. Nostrils the Weasel is about 30 rungs on the latter lower than Ashland when it comes to being an important business mogul. Nostrils the Weasel’s meltdown might not bare any fruit. 12 Link to comment
Joimiaroxeu December 22, 2021 Share December 22, 2021 How many times is Sally going to be summoned to the ranch to be given the third degree by TGVN? I'm over his Don Corleone act. Noah working at the coffeehouse so he can use the free wifi, lol. And hope Tessa drops in. 😏 Connor is so emotionally needy to me. I think Chelsea and Adam should get him around other kids more so he isn't so focused on them. Plus, he's kind of old to be still making lists for Santa, no? Lol, Sally thinks she's really good at wearing disguises and spying on Billy. Girl, bye. He made you the very first time you tried it. Jose Feliciano could have seen through your silly spy girl getup. FOH. 😎 Oh Victor, Adam is way past old enough to be choosing his own romantic partners. You warning Sally off him--again--is beyond tiresome to me. And so is everybody's bringing up what Sally did to Summer. Summer is living her best life due to Sally's machinations, and she'd probably still be treading water at Fenmores had Sally not intervened. AFAIC all the Newmans and Abbotts can STFU about it. Phyllis too. The album cover Noah designed for Tessa seems a bit of a reach to me. I doubt the average buyer going to recognize the background as GC's cityscape and be impressed by it. I don't recall, have Lily and Sally met? I'm thinking there's going to need to be a scene at some point where Lily reads Sally like the ISS Flight Control Operations Handbook, translated into ASCII code and printed backwards and upside-down. Chelsea has elf ears. How did I not notice that before today's flashback? 😼 Billy should've had one of his gambling buddies cue up this song on the jukebox after he left the bar: Quote Spider Please to be explaining, who is Spider and why? 🤔 Quote it looks like TGVN has his number. I'm not so sure he does--yet. I think Victor just knows Billy usually has some kind of revenge scheme going on and this may be one of those times. What Victor clearly recognized I think is that Adam and Sally are lying to him. So, he may or may not rescue them should the need arise. 9 Link to comment

Not to mention she has a PRISON record. The public and shareholders love ex-serviceman in positions of power. It's a plus for most people on a resume. Chance's military experience, and his time at the Pentagon, is not nothing. He can be mentored into the job just as much as Lily can. At the very least Jill can produce a division for Chance to start with. If he has connections at the Pentagon, he could bring in some lucrative military contracts. If I remember correctly the character with the most action scenes on Y&R is Victor Newman... CEO of Newman Enterprises. He got more action than all the cops combined. So, dropping down from the air ducts might come in handy as CEO of Chancellor. Wasn't that over 10 years ago? Things have changed quite a bit. When he was working for GCPD, he got shot, which rendered him temporarily sterile, and on his last mission all of his teammates were killed. Those are life changing situations for many. Not to mention he is older and wants to settle down as a family man. Seems like the man is at a turning point in his life. I think almost every character has changed their mind numerous times. How many times was Adam, Victoria or Nick never going to have anything to do with Victor, or Newman again? Devon quit his job at Jabot that Neil set up for him saying the business world was not his thing and not what he wanted in life. Yet he's in it now. Chance is allowed to change too. Everything he said in his early 20s, or even last year, is not his fate for life. Victoria went to art school. Adam is the only one with a Harvard Business degree. Also his alter ego Spider was a [professional poker player. HE won! I will keep saying it until some one listens that there were 3 black SUVs on that dark road Butt left (Illegally) his 8 yr old in a car with an unleashed puppy. A witness told Victor that he saw a blond woman then 'vanished' 1 Adam 2 Drunki - Victor was afraid it was her 3 Kelly (mourning mom who went suspiciously extra cray right after) She is Stiches SIS too. Please do this SL before the show ends (soon?) I want Billy and Clo's heads to explode so bad and it might by them a SL that would offer an extra years worth o drama that even MWTs could write 2 5 Link to comment

Snaporaz December 22, 2021 Share December 22, 2021 (edited) So...Billy is upset that his reputation has been damaged, and to remedy that, he makes a public spectacle of himself in his niece's restaurant. Now I get it! The bartender must be wondering why this asshole is falling over tables after he's had nothing but two gallons of apple juice. Who is sitting up at night fretting over Billy Abbott's reputation? Who even knows about it other than the three people who manage to read page 37 of the Genoa City Business Times? Maybe Billy should pop a piece of Juicy Fruit every time he puts on his acts. Gum Chawin' used to be the way to tell the difference between Jerk Billy and, well, Different-Sort-of-Jerk Billy. Disguises are a Spectra Family specialty, so Original Sally would be so disappointed in Sally's lame attempts. For one thing, you need to switch it up. Don't wear the same disguise four days in a row, and certainly don't wear a Mata Hari disguise when you're, you know, spying on somebody. Original Sally would have dressed like Wayne Newton to spy on Billy's fake poker game. Edited December 22, 2021 by Snaporaz 15 4 Link to comment

JNavarro December 22, 2021 Share December 22, 2021 It irks me a little that Victor of course is the one who has to see something's up and will probably be the only one to get out of the whole thing without any trouble (I'm sure a "badass" Victor moment was about due in EB's contract).....but you know, whatever. If it leads to the sweaty concave mess of a star in this storyline getting his ass kicked, I'll deal. And we're supposed to believe the weak willed addict is going to be able to play act falling into his vices while being perfectly fine? Right. Adam was pulling off some weird DudeBro faces today- serious Harold and Kumar, Jackass level vibes. He and Connor seem like brothers at this point, especially with MG apparently channeling his inner Steve O. I'm sure the answer is because it's a steady job, but I otherwise don't know how Courtney Hope puts up with these storylines. Her character is made to look like an absolute idiot Every.Time. 3 9 Link to comment
Skarzero December 22, 2021 Share December 22, 2021 Adam, Lily is not a saint for putting up with Billy she's a moron. In more ways than either of you know. Buttbiscuit was being manipulative when he told Lily he would stop if she wanted him to. He's trying to sound considerate but he's just washing his hands of the fallout ahead of time in case it blows up in his stupid face (I hope so). He put the responsibility of stopping the ruse in Lily's hands instead of his own. Classic manipulation tactic from that dickhead. He knew she would tell him to keep it up, since she's already demonstrated the level of blind faith she has in him. I don't get what TPTB are trying to do with Sally but I do wish they made her more cunning and savvy. So at the very least she could be a legitimate threat and make Lily and Buttbiscuit sweat a little smh... While I'm at it, If they want Sally to be a "pariah" TIIC should show us and not tell us. Like they used to once upon a time. They're gonna have to do way better than have her send Summer to Milan or get into it with Phyllis, one of the grimiest soap villainess to ever do it, of all people. The "worst" thing she did was fake an illness to keep a worthless, waffling loser from a worthless bitch, who sold her own flesh & blood out for 50K and lied about it for nearly a year. Y&R can't even really take credit for that SL, that was B&B's sin (one of many). Sally is still a good person in comparison so none of what they're doing is working. The vilification of Gabi was awful (not to mention tone deaf) in every sense of the word but at least the DOOL writers understood they had to actually make her do practically OOC evil shit to people, whether they had it coming from her or not. So the audience knows that this character is capable of those things. That way, when the character in question is shat on for their misdeeds viewers aren't left scratching their heads like: "lol what misdeeds?" 17 Link to comment

Everything he said in his early 20s, or even last year, is not his fate for life. Chance needs something more than wearing out his disapointment/guilt at the dead end GCPD. Paul Williams has disappeared and Det. Rey Rey is busy pouting about Sharon's ex-husband/ex-lovers cutting into his action. Chancellor Industries would be a good respite from the Army/Cop Shop dead zone. There's another possibility for Chance to walk into a key position at Chancellor Industries: If Lily is embroiled in NotBilly's revenge plot public failure. It's exactly the one thing Jill wanted Lily not to do. Jill wanted Lily to temper NotBilly's worst behaviors at Chance Dot Com and that failed, but Lily as a supporting cast member in NotBilly's playacting farce could give the new CEO of Chancellor Industries another NotBilly-generated black-eye, and Jill is not going to appreciate more bad press with Lily's bold-face name front and center. Enter Chance to clean up the mess. On 12/21/2021 at 1:28 PM, peacheslatour said: I'm glad Victor warned Sally. I as worried that Nostrils would pull off his little charade but it looks like TGVN has his number. It's odd that Atonal is taking a victory lap on less than reliable evidence NotBilly is circling the drain. He used to be a more circumspect gambler, but it could be TIIC setting him up for a faceplant and Victor stops him from being made a fool by his ego. Atonal should have the Newman Black Ops do some reverse investigating on what has been seen versus what can be proved. Bartenders, wait staff, liquor store cashiers, dumpster diving, secret listening devices, neighbors and poker players questioned, bar glasses tested ... The whole shebang. But Atonal is being written getting ahead of the factual evidence, being carried away by the idea he has crushed Genoa City's Village Idiot -- It's a low bar, but most of Atonal's plots and plans fail because hubris and his ego take the lead. Victor has warned him and Sally not to charge ahead -- he believes NotBilly is up to old tricks or the verasity of the damaging videos. Victor's battled NotBilly and the Abbott's forever and knows of what he speaks when it comes to NotBilly's motivation. NotBilly has exonerated himself of Delia's death by hating Atonal. It is one vice NotBilly won't shake off. Without the Atonal-hate, NotBilly would be left to admit his culpability, and he takes no responsibility for anything he lays waste. Joimiaroxeu December 22, 2021 Share December 22, 2021 (edited) Abby referred to Dominic as her and Chance's miracle baby. Why is he a miracle? It was a pretty straightforward IVF and surrogacy process, except for when Mariah got kidnapped. She did go into labor alone shortly before they found her but that turned out okay. Aw, wee cutie Dominic. Loved his furry booties. Still wearing a hat indoors though. What's up with that? Newsflash, Phyllis: Christian doesn't miss you. He's probably already forgotten your name. And Dominic doesn't want to know you either. He's already got his little hands full with another batty redhead. 🙄 Wow, Kim Dunaway. Way to trigger Chance's PTSD with that overly expressive message on your Christmas card. ¡Mala amiga! Sure hope Dom will be okay after all these people are done breathing their winter germs on him. 🤧 Amanda, are you nuts? If Abby and Chance let Dom have sleepovers at Devon's place, Mariah's going to want that too. Of course Mariah isn't your problem but she could be one for Dom's parents if she feels like Devon's getting special privileges she isn't. You need to stay out of it, Mandy. Phyllis swans in to Abby's house like they're long lost pals and Abby looks at her like WTF? Uncle Jack should've known better. Signature eggnog from the Gloomy Parallelogram. Bet it tastes like aardvark vomit. I wouldn't drink it if you held a sword to my neck. Thanks but no thanks, Phyllis. 🤮 According to Mariah, Dom doesn't have any hair. Is that why he has to wear a hat all the time? 🤔 Whoa buddy, Traci was climbing right up Phyllis' not-so-narrow behind. Or trying to. You go, Traci. It's what savage Dina would do if she were still around. 😏 TPTB will let Tessa and Mariah have a baby but they can't get married? 😐 AYFKMWTS, Phyllis!!!???!!! Your kids are amazing in spite of you, not because of you. Note that neither of them finds it important to be around you and your authentic self. Shut all the way up. 🤨 Dominic was like, "Not more jazz! Noooooo!" He's not a fan, it seems. So the Abbotts are having Christmas Eve dinner. Wonder if we'll get to see it since it'll only be Jack, Traci, and Ashley? (And perhaps the Red Menace too.) They'd better be giving Mrs. Martinez an excellent holiday bonus. Still, six months of putting the screws on the Rachel Berry of Genoa City hasn't been worth the crap of the following three decades. As someone else said upthread (and I cannot find the quote again) I am so throughly sick if Delia being used as an excuse for Billy's bad behavior. That wore real thin with Chloe but I'll give her some credit for finding something else to do in life besides pulling criminal activity in revenge. Given it was Billy's direct actions that put Delia in the position to be killed to begin with, I have even less patience for him. 1 hour ago, peacheslatour said: "Kid" That's how he described himself to Jack. What the hell is up with the one lone blonde highlight on his forelock? Trying to look like a geriatric beach bum? Has it escaped everyone's attention Phyllis dropped Nick because he was always getting hurt by his family, and trying to fix them? Jack is not any different, just more passive aggressive. I thought Jack said the hotel wars are a thing of the past but Rodan the Petty just had to mention that the egg nog was the signature blend of the Grand Albatross HER HOTEL 🙄. Another error by the wardrobe department. Those onesies that Abby were trying to decide which one she was going to put on Bowie looked like they were designed by Chelsea 2.0 🤢. The one that Bowie is wearing now is much much better. I rather have root canal, without an anesthetic than parenting advice from Rodan the Petty. She pulled a muscle from patting herself on the back about being a fantastic mother. Summer and Daniel are head cases just like her. 🎶”Having my Baby”🎶 “What a lovely way of saying how much you love me”. Does Mariah sing this to Tessa or does Tessa sing this to Mariah. It’s a toss up but for now adopting seems to me to be a much better solution. This is a fantastic Holiday Season present with Mariah and Tessa glowing over the prospect of being parents. 10 Link to comment

Skarzero December 23, 2021 Share December 23, 2021 I planned to fast forward Phyllis scenes as usual but something about her being at Abby's house that made me stop, I just had to see that bullshit for myself. Abby showed incredible restraint, and was cordial. Why does Phyllis still talk about her hotel like anyone gives a damn? Everything about that scene was awkward, but like a painful kind of awkward. Abby didn't slam the door in her face out of respect for her uncle Jack and she get's Phyllis' yammering and whack, unrequested parenting advice for her trouble. BTW Phyllis it's a miracle your children aren't wasting away in some psych ward or dead. They don't miss you. They are as far away from you as possible and you still think that you have anything to say on the topic of parenting. FOH On the positive side baby Dominic is the cutest! I laughed a bit harder than I should have when he started crying at the music box Devon gave him. Even the baby knows Devon should've kept that gift lol I wish the writers didn't have Amanda encouraging Devon's baby obsession. Hilary wouldn't have any of this mess from the start. On the off chance she did let it get this far, she would certainly draw the line at Devon being a big part of his life, or a bigger part than he would be if he weren't the bio parent. 12 Link to comment

boes December 23, 2021 Share December 23, 2021 Uncle Jack, you keep dragging Phyllis, uninvited, along to these family functions and they're going to start giving you the wrong dates and addresses. Bringing Phyllis along to Chance and Abby's first Christmas with DA BABY could have only been made worse if you'd had Baby Brother ButtBiscuit tag along. Abby's never going to get those stains out, never. Phyllis is right about her kids - they are a testament to her. Daniel, who was mostly raised by Danny Romalotti with help from Cricket and his sister turned out pretty well, all things considered. His time having Phyllis heavily involved in his life was often disastrous, culminating when she forced him to keep the baby he had with Daisy who he'd originally let ButtBiscuit and Victoria adopt. There's a reason he left town and rarely returned and it's not because of her great mothering. Granddaughter Lucy doesn't seem to be too interested in Grandma Phyllis, either. Dummer, on the other hand, is a testament to what it's like having Phyllis actually raise a child. She's moronic, self-centered, grasping, not-too-bright and inexplicably resembling a near relative of Donald Duck. Or as Jack says, she's "as smart as they get". One thing Dummer did right and that's go live on another continent. Show was so baby heavy today, it was hard to avoid all the talk of life's greatest miracle. Baby Dominic got an obscene number of gifts while behind the scenes Amanda was advocating ways Devon can permanently alienate Abby and Chance under the guise of spending time with the baby while on that other planet spinning out of orbit, Tessa and Mariah were discussing adopting. I hope they consider an older child. Someone to play with baby Dominic. Amanda - just because Devon gave Abby some fuel doesn't mean he gets to keep the car. Devon should know better than to take advice from somebody who considers Phyllis and ButtBiscuit good friends. 1 7 7 Link to comment
