I actually agree with Sunny and Abby both on Pete v. Bernie, particularly Abby saying just because Bernie is going to repeat it over and over doesn't mean the other candidates have to dance to his tune.

I think it would help show who actually has support and who doesn't and it would also narrow down the primaries as well. Some candidates have big backers, but not that much individual donors so it seems like they are bigger than they really are. Pete is one of those people and the billionaires who are currently there now.

But I think Bernie is against it because, like they said in the show, those that accept big donations can be swayed to vote for the interests of billionaires/corporations more than regular people.

McCain screeching about her barren womb and empty breasts again. I'd rather hear Joy talk since she actually does know something about the topic, but who can get a word in with all her caterwauling.

I think this is the trait I hate most about Missy!!!  If she hasn't experienced it, she won't talk about it.  Instead of shutting up, she yells & screams to prevent the others from discussing the topic at hand.  (I would have liked to hear if AHbay was successful with her breastfeeding problem!!)

I have plenty of thoughts in response to this, but they would be off-topic, so... I'll just leave it at I disagree with you vehemently, other than to say that polls and votes show who has support, not money (whomever it comes from).

Meghan really has a lot of influence in the production of the show, doesn't she?  This is the second clip of her father she's shown in the last month.  Does she think people wouldn't believe what she was saying about him if the clip wasn't shown?  Plus, I wouldn't be surprised if she's the one who makes sure Clay and Reuben are always on the show at Christmastime.

I do agree with her that Nikki Haley is planning to run for president.  That was my first thought when I saw this story on CNN last week.

Oh, no, Joy.  I would say several of the candidates do very well with small donors, not just Bernie.

Boy, Meghan was in a snit about Greta being Time's Person of the Year.  And for all her "I'm not going to criticize a 16 year old", in a roundabout way she ended up kinda doing just that.

Here we go again.  If Meghan doesn't have anything to contribute to a particular topic, instead of listening and learning something, or at least pretending to be interested, she hijacks the discussion, waving her arms, stopping everyone in their tracks, and saying 'Me me me!

Unbelievable!  She did it again!  Joy was a little annoyed the first time, but I think she'd had it after Meghan's second outburst.  It's a good thing there were no more Hot Topics coming up.

It's like at dinner when the adults are having a conversation and a child seeking attentions starts making a fuss.  Pay attention to me!!!!  Look at me!!!!

Why does Meghan have a bone to pick with 16 year old Greta?

Clearly she didn't like that Greta was Time's Person of the Year.

Because Time didn't chose her or her father posthumously.

Or her. You know she has been in politics her whole life and is an expert on all things political.  Just ask her. She will tell  you.

I was kind of enjoying everyone in the first part--even MM.  But as the show went on, she got screechier and louder (even when I agreed with some of what she said, it was annoying because of the vocal tone).  Then the breastfeeding segment blew it all up--she just wouldn't put up, saying the same thing over and over.  We know you don't have kids but that doesn't mean you can't have an opinion  on how the public responds to women breastfeeding, etc.  Or here's a thought--if you don't have an opinion then just don't say anything (that would be a pleasant surprise!).  Is she just protesting too much with the breastfeeding segment and the kids segment.  And I agree that Joy let it ride the first interruption, but was clearly ticked off when MM kept going on and on talking over Joy while saying nothing new--just the same "i don't have kids, i'm not a parent, for all the childless people like me....." ad nauseam.  So, as usual, just when I thought she was fairly pleasant, she had to go and ruin it (and not even over politics this time).  On side notes--I don't think the severely pulled back bun look is a good one for MM--she needs more softness around her face-- and what's  with Sunny's hair these days?  I'm thinking wigs but they aren't really flattering.  I thought Joy was quite good today and I always like Jack Black.

Meghan on breastfeeding, "I have absolutely nothing more to say on this subject. Can I just say......., one more thing....., furthermore......, absolutely nothing to say...., BRIAN!,  not a mother discrimination!....not talking about this subject..." and on and on.   She's gotta be on something.

Or she needs to be on something.

Joy was good today for what control she could wield.  Bitch wouldnt STFU and you know who i mean.  Joy was getting pissed too. AND she even shouted over her supposed bestie! Who just smiled uuuauuuuuuuuuuhhhhhh. Why yes my queen. Blech.  MM is clearly in a manic phase.  Ive had enough to know.  I always handled it by buying a scratch-off that day.  Almost always won little stuff.  Biggest was $50 hah.  But rhe disappointment of losing brought me back down. I dont have them too much anymore.  Anyway i digress.  Gurrrrrrrrrl Pleeeeeeeease...

She probably hired wet-nurses and doesn't want to observe any of that.  She doesn't want to feel guilty that her highly visible, highly paid, and highly important career takes her away from her precious darlings.

Thanks for setting us straight, Meg, that the Confederate flag controversy is about you and your family.

I could not believe it when she said, "This is a very, very deep issue, for my family in particular".  "In particular"?  What about the millions of people for whom the flag is a symbol of hate and oppression?

This statement would have been okay if she had left that part out and added to the sentence "... because at one time my father supported the right to fly the confederate flag.  Later, he came to deeply regret holding that belief".

That would have been a simple, straightforward comment to add to the discussion.  But she had to blow out of proportion the impact the confederate flag had on her family and make a whole production out of it.

I thought she said, the whistleblower  would of been the best choice, I agree. Thr Time person doesn't mean much anymore. I'm not a fan of  Greta or her filmmaking family, she ignited passion in the younger generation,  that's my kudos to her, she's being used, but it doesn't ruin my life

Baron is flung into the mix by Joyless, and that confused me, but then he's a Trump, and Joy has to get that in

They all seemed screech to me..come back soon Whoopi.

I thought i had heard the whistleblower did get some award but i forget what. Can you imagine if the WB had gotten it and our fearful leader did not? Hahahah i say. And i say again hahahahanahan!  Joy didnt jump into the mix.  She was explaining what the brouhaha was to those who didnt know the issue about the kid's name.

I’m just now watching yesterday on my DVR  and when Abby said she was loving the headband on Joy MeAgain said something about it “on the View.” I listened 3 times and have cc on.  What they heck was she saying?  Was it the one MM loaned her for her last trip, then argued about whether she gave it to her to keep on not?   You know she can’t afford to give someone a headband, but everyone wants her to pick them for the family gift exchange because she’s the best.
Would it be too much to ask for once to have her walk out with a pleasant look on her face? Joy and Sunny look so happy to be there are welcoming, Abby has the same plastered smile she has on when she’s rambling her point of view and MeeAgain looks like someone told her not to mention her father ever again. LOL

It is funny that she’s 20 feet in front of everyone and no one wants to sit with her at the lunch table.
Her fake pearl clutching but he’s the governor !!  That just gave Joy an opportunity to prolong the discussion/ teasing.   I can’t figure out how that works that you are loose ,blunt and sex loving then buttoned up and prim and proper, with Erica Jane as one of her many BFFs?  The difference between Joy and MM In how they treat someone with opposing opinions is what a professional does. No-one knows more about polls than she does, she reads them every day she’s obsessed so don’t talk to her about polls.

Oh my god there is truly something WRONG with her. The loud hysterical insane laughing and screaming repeatedly is so uncomfortable.  I’m not that familiar with drugs but what would cause bitchiness, out of control  screaming and the inability to not realize you are embarrassing? Talk about not being able to read  a room. She’s certifiable. Why didn’t she scream because Jack was talking about kids, she doesn’t have any does she? LOL  Think of any talk show host that would refuse or whine about a topic because she doesn’t identify. So self centered

Pretty strange the conversation about the rapper exposing her whole butt saying she’s just being her, and like Joy asks why are people upset that’s why God made breasts.

They did, but the cover would have been better. Like I posted, it meant something  at one time, not so much anymore imho.

Breastfeeding  segment  was funny, but I don't know why some actress needs a photo of a child latched on to her mammary  gland.. lol

The wonderous miracle of Motherhood!  AhhhhhhhAaaaaaaAAAAa!  Not that Im making fun at that. Dot dot dot and can i just add dot dot sot i dont have a children.  The closest i came to unconditional love was my cat Beau, whom i loved dearly, more than my heart expand to.  22 wonderful years. Does that make me a Catdower? Hee..  i miss him so much.  Ok this went way off track.

I'm not upset, I don't see the point, sorry, to me, something's  are private, lovingly  so. It seems like attention getting..zzzz

I haven’t watched today’s episode yet. I’m not a mother, but I’m aware of all the benefits of breastfeeding and would never harass some poor woman discreetly feeding her child. But I totally agree that there are some women out there who are attention seeking about it.

Article on MeAgain says she is not going to attack a 16 year old, but then proceeds to disparage a 16 year old.

Although the article url headline is misleading.

Did you guys comment on this gaffe by Abby yesterday?  She is lucky Whoopi wasn't there to roll her eyes toward the audience and then Whoopi-splain to Abby.

Has anyone mentioned Joy's question to Lupita yesterday?  She was talking about Miss Universe who is from South Africa, and stated her name.  Then she asked Lupita if she pronounced it correctly, and Lupita answered that she didn't know.  It appeared like Joy expected all Black women from Africa to know how to pronounce each other's names.
