Carly didn’t even have to suffer any consequences for since Drew took the fall.

Of course she did! She had to find $5 million to pay a sec Fine, which meant she couldn’t buy back the metro court. And she refused to take the money that Joss offered from her trust fund (which is likely considerably more than $5 million) or let Sonny help her. I’m still not sure where she got the money since no one would let her sell the house and she was whining about how it would wipe out her savings. 🙄

She wiped out her savings, I believe. But she still landed on her feet, since she had the diner.

And she still didn't suffer, since everyone immediately started falling all over themselves to help her. Such a pointless story, as usual.

They are being so heavy handed with the Jason mentions. Danny mouthing off to his mother and drinking in a park with his friends is the most garden variety form of teenage rebellion. For the vast majority of people, it doesn’t mean they’re headed down a bad path or on their way to becoming a career criminal. And we’re talking RL teens, for a soap teen, he’s still boring as hell Sam. You can stop worrying.

Good lord, Sam - you've only ever known brain damaged Jason who made Sonny and the fam his #1 priority in life. Danny is not "hard-wired" to do dangerous things like a guy with brain damage. Jason was a studious kid in boarding school when he was Danny's age. Danny is a normal teenager who snuck out, end of story.  Alexis is an intelligent attorney who knew Jason and the rest of the Q Family a long time before Sam did - and was even once engaged to Jason's cousin. Why didn't she point out the glaring fact that 14-year-old Jason was a good kid, not a juvenile delinquent. This heavy-handed built up for Jason's return is ridiculous!!

I need multiple vomit emojis that Dex would rather have Sonny shoot him dead than to live without Joss. I will never, ever buy that Joss and Dex really love each other. She still barely knows him. Esme had more character development and relationships on the show than Dex has had. I did like, though, how Sonny was utterly unmoved by Joss's tears and that she will never forgive him for Dex leaving. lol.

I love Laura's facial reactions to Cyrus, so very much.

I'm feeling really sorry for Eden McCoy. She returned to work after her mother's death only to have her character grieve Spencer's death and now Dex's departure. I guess the only good thing is that she didn't return earlier and have to play Joss grieving her grandmother Bobbi as well. I think the girl needs some cheery and happy scenes right now.

The show feels out of sync. Why didn’t Sonny just tell Dex to leave after trying to kill him the first time? He didn’t want Carly to interfere?

Why is Cyrus on the radio instead of a podcast? I’m with Laura though, guy is super creepy and unhinged with his “flock”.

We’re back to mobspital and I’m bored silly.

It's ridiculous especially when Sam says that Jason was in and out of Danny's life. The writing omits that Sam is an adrenaline junky herself.

I’m guessing that’s why they had Sam add in the line about it being part of his DNA, which makes even less sense considering before the accident, Jason was a goody goody who never did anything wrong. He was the only Q who wasn’t messy.

Sonny has never really cared about Joss aside from her being safe for Carly's sake. I like that about him. Joss's anger is so stupid. Dex worked for Sonny. WTF did she expect would happen? This is not an unforeseen consequence.

Okay maybe the feds would be more interested in working with you if Anna and Jordan hadn’t pursued the case after being told not to when they were not law enforcement and then withheld information.

Me too -- it so neatly demonstrates his priorities.

And, FWIW, today in his confrontation with Dex, he sounded more like a petulant 15-year old than a powerful godfather. Maybe the new writers will move him to a back burner.

I'm pretty sure I wasn't hallucinating when just the other day I heard Joss tell Dex to run -- for her. Why does she now hate Sonny for convincing him to do the same thing?

Nitpick... No east coast radio station would have call letters starting with K... It would be W... K is a West of the Mississippi thing

It bugs me when they can't get even the little things right.

Because before it was her choice and she was going to run with him. Now he’s chosen to leave town and live, but without her. Sorry not sorry 🤣

I wonder if Joss will "hate" Sonny longer than she hates Nina? I would think that this is a much deeper wound than whatever Nina supposedly did to other people. I can imagine in a different medium that this would fuel Joss's desire for revenge, and she might pursue a career in law so she could prosecute Sonny herself.

Joss should be happy that her mobbed up bf wasn’t killed. Any other snitch would have. I think some self reflection is required there because maybe don’t get involved with someone in that business if you can’t handle the consequences.

The funny thing is I doubt this would have all come out had Dex stopped working for Sonny when he had the chance to go but he didn’t want to because he had no education or other skills and thought he was above working a job like opening the door at the MC. He chose that life over a normal one with Joss so I don’t get why either of them are acting so dramatic today.

Missed the first 40 minutes due to news, but sounds like it was mostly a lot of pointless blathering, so I won't bother. Joss is so entitled, she thinks her mob boyfriend should be allowed to mob and turn traitor without consequences. Guess what Joss, Dex is a criminal too! 😱🙄 I wonder if he told her he almost killed a man for Sonny. And before you get too pouty, don't forget how very much you worshipped Jason, who would not hesitate to make Dex permanently disappear.

Pretty sure the GH basement morgue would not get portable AM radio reception. 📻 🤣

Doesn't have to be Ingo, but this might be a nice time for Jax to come for a visit.

Olivia Jerome had such a tangled history with the residents of Port Charles, they might need a recap episode to remind us of all of it.

Given that we seem to be worried about mobsters, has anyone seen Selena Wu lately?

Jax's absence from Josslyn's life for more than a year - never a mention - has been glaring because he has a history of being a very involved, doting dad. A revenge porn recording of Joss goes public, Joss and Cam are interviewed by Jax's best friend for a media story, but Mr. International Corporate Raider apparently does not have anything to do with media, the Internet, or his daughter anymore since he left town for an undefined period of time. You would think Jax died off-screen. Ugh, this show.

The show has done this before, though, with a devoted parent. Brooklyn's throat gets slashed, Ned is afraid she won't live/recover ... but Lois doesn't show up. Brooklyn is "pregnant" and then she and Chase are together "raising our baby" ... but Lois doesn't show up. Brooklyn has some business-family problems with Tracy that get so-called media attention, and then Lois comes running (since RS became available) because she's "so worried" about what big bad Tracy has done to her daughter.

I don't understand why dex was willing to die but then he argues with Sonny about leaving Joss?

And how can dex and joss be so much in love? They spent the whole time talking about Sonny and having sex.

Yeah, the only thing Danny is “hard wired” to do is wear a reindeer sweater. Later, Sam did switch to talk of Danny emulating Jason, which makes more sense and made me wonder if the writers know what “hard wired” means.

So is the actor who plays Dex being written out?

I’m not up on casting news, but I fully expect Dex to return, possibly just in time to save Sonny from Jason’s* next attack and be redeemed in Sonny’s eyes. But if he is leaving, even temporarily, why for the love of all that is good and holy couldn’t he take Joss with him?

Particularly when it's backed up with white whiskers whenever MB doesn't have time to shave. He should take a page from silver fox MEK's book. He makes grey look distinguished and sexy.

The same can be said about Drewfus. Went from a doting and devoted father, his whole reason for surviving his kidnapping and imprisonment by Victor was the daughter he wanted to get back to because she was his everything, to abandoning said daughter to go jail for his girlfriend and wanting sell daughter's birthright to pay for his g/f's debt.

I can't help but laugh at how anti-mob Joss is now, considering how she almost cut Cam out of her life for daring to call Jason a criminal.

Jeff Kober continues to be a bright spot in every episode he's in.

JK and GF had such great chemistry on screen. I love the way she arches her one eyebrow at him when he is sermonizing. They each have a knack for saying something without speaking a word just by the use of facial expressions.

Someone was watching old GH Black Hills shows, where the drummer was tapping out Morse Code onstage to signal the baddies.  "Dusty" (Shaun Cassidy) and "Terry Brock" Robyn Bernard were the singers.

Same. It was good to see Joss on the floor crying because Dex left her behind, after how she treated Cam for his very understandable perspective about Jason, and then cheated on him with Dex. Joss crying over Dex truly highlighted that she never deserved to be Cam's girlfriend, or even his friend really.

I’m sure Joss will forget about all of the ranting she’s done about the mob and criminals being bad in the last 2 years once “uncle” Jason comes back since we know that man is never leaving the mob and worshipping Jason is ingrained in her. Very well since it was OOC to begin with considering she used to gloat about Sonny being in the mob and getting away with everything and frequently used his name to threaten people.

Wow, they sprung for a photo of Tonja Walker.

I love the relationship between Alexis and Valentin. I'm so glad they made it mostly warm instead of adversarial.

Joss is acting like a colossal  infant. Not that I'm surprised.

I did not like Nina's outfit today. The blue color looks great on CW, but the style is so ugly.

This whole Carly produced a high quality magazine is such bullshit. That monthly Crimson magazine was handled by Nina from start to end. All Carly did was send it out to the printer. It doesn't take a week to put a magazine together.

I hope Joss will be off screen as she searches for her boring boyfriend.

I skipped the Trina scenes. Knowing that Spencer will eventually be back takes me out of any mourning scenes, tbh. In any case, the way they wrote Spencer as basically a socialite made me feel like he was dragging Trina down.

So Nina is going to work at The Invader and Alexis thinks she and Valentin are up to something when they're really not up to anything. And Nina is going after Drew and Carly via the magazine. I hate it when characters have nothing going on, so they just keep running in circles chasing their tails.

I wish Lois would go back to Brooklyn.

Ask Nina. She got him the show so that he would drop the charges against Sonny for beating him up.

So now Carly can be shielded from things by being above revenge plotting leaving Drew and Nina to go at each other while Carly somehow is the only one repeating any benefits and not suffering. I think we’re getting another setup of poor, poor Carly just in time for her to cut ties with Drew for her own peace of mind as soon as Jason comes back. Things are lining up perfectly so she coincidently won’t get called out for the fact that she never gave a damn about Drew outside of a Jason replacement and she and her mini mes will go right back to forgetting that Drew exists.

When Nina bounced into Alexis' office with that big bun on her head it made me laugh, but she looked good.

I can't believe we wasted 15 minutes on a wedding invitation mistake. What a waste of Tracy. And do rich people really make only some of their invitations "plus one?"  And does Tracey really need to be sent an invitation?

Sorry, but totally bored with Trina's grief and Hatman's, um, very existence. 🤣😇

If Lois secretly sets up Tracy with someone I will be enraged. And Lois's judginess about Tracy not being nice enough to have an escort was gross. Shut up, Lois.

Tracy doesn't "need" an actual invitation, but maybe she wants one as a keepsake. And I think it's also a way to keep the general guest numbers accounted for. You sent out x number; so far you've received y; then you get down to who specifically replied.

Same. Marshall's story has dragged. He's been in PC for three years, and we're only now getting some sort of resolution? At least he decided he wasn't going to dwell on the inaccurate diagnosis and will live for today. I can't take more moping.

Did anyone else notice that today was kind of a Black History Month shout-out? Multiple Shawn Butler references, Stella's cringe-worthy "You is free" proclamation and Marshall's angry "I don't feel free" retort, it hurt my feelings as a Black man. Hey morons-in-charge, why didn't you just bring back Brian and Claudia while you're at it? And end with clips of Justus and Mary Mae Ward? For Fuck's sake!
