Did you watch?  Because she wasn't pulling a Holly, she was righting a wrong because the guy cheated a woman selling ornaments.  She took the money to pay the woman and gave the wallet back to a cop saying she found it.

Really enjoyed Alexis/Ric today.  RH really is a silver fox and never shies away from leaning into being a jerk and he and NLG played that bickering exes thing to perfection.

JFC, Lulu, lovely to abandon Rocco on the first Christmas he's had with you in years.  You kinda suck.  I was surprised at the Charlotte cameo (or return, whatever), but I LOL'd at "I'll come get you" like she was at the movies on the other side of town.

Carly: "You're not the boss of me."

Me: "So you really are still stuck in middle school.  Everything makes sense now."

Lois's ZOINKS face at Ned talking about a first grandchild.  Girl, how have you kept this secret for 20 years?

I don't know if they can do this without making Lois a monster or Brook a moron. So if Lois told Brook her baby died she's horrendous. But if she told Brook she gave him up for adoption Brook seems idiotic for not even suspecting.

If Lulu told Charlotte sorry I can't come get you immediately it would also be sketchy.

We agree about Carly. Woo! That line was so dumb.

I know Genie isn't really Jonathan's mother, but she has known him since he was, what, ten years old? Ma'am, drag him by the ear to a shower or at least a hair stylist's sink.

She did but looked like a youngin herself lol. When I watch GH clips in the 90s it's crazy how they tried to make Genie seem older with oversized sweaters but they absolutely failed.

The girl playing Emma seems solid, if slightly old for the part. I guess she'd work as a contemporary of Nicholas Chavez and probably William Lipton. It is hilarious the lengths they will go to to avoid ever pairing Trina with anyone white again, though. Gio gets a few more unexpectedly well-liked scenes with her and boom! New white girl hits the scene!

I like Gio and I have nothing against NuEmma so far (Brooklyn Silzer was adorable but could not handle dramatic acting as an adult, a recast was inevitable) but I don't care about them together. You're not gonna put over a very new guy like Gio and an all-new recast that easily. It just feels like something to cement him (and keep him away from Trina), and I'd rather see both parties tested around with others as the new girl seems promising. I also said years ago Emma should be a secret vixen/antiheroine - no one would expect that of her - so I hope this edge isn't all Robin Hood good deeds.

Alexa has really brought the spunk back to Lulu, without the hardness that JMB had to go with it. No, I don't love her relentless quest to retrieve her mutant hellspawn but the scenes with her breaking into Wyndemere, etc. really had spark and good chemistry with DZ.

It's not just Trina.  Curtis has never had a white love interest even though he had chem with Sam and a lot of chem with Cynthia's Nina.  Portia and Jordan the same.  TJ and Molly originated way back in the day, and they're split up now anyway.  I don't know what their reason is but they don't seem to want it.  I always wanted Nina and Curtis to get together so I've noticed it.

If they wanted to bring Emma back, I'm glad it's a recast, because the other one was not very good. Glad she found her passion, though, with nursing and all.

NuEmma does look a whole lot like Finola.

I'm under the impression that Brooklyn has no idea that Gio might be her son. And if she does, then her listening to him go on about how much he misses his mother because she died, is really cruel. Not that telling him that she is his mother would make things better for him.

In any case, this storyline is impressively stupid, even for this show.

So Rocco loses Sam who was his surrogate mother. He gets his mother back for Christmas, but his mother then takes off on him to places unknown after swearing him to secrecy. Merry Christmas, Rocco!!

As much as the adults talk about not splitting up Danny, Rocco and Scout, all three are spending Christmas in different places.

I felt really sorry for Danny when he was standing there outside wondering where his mother was.

Carly talking about Drew's smugness like smug isn't her first, middle and last name.

I love Brennan. Please show, don't Carlify him.

Love Laura getting her kids back but her being so happy to be with her “two” kids pinged hard. Poor Nik.

I would mind less about Lulu abandoning Rocco on Christmas for Charlotte if she told him she was afraid Valentine might move them at any minute.

But the way it played it just felt like “see ya less important kid”.

Also if Lucky, Liz, Lulu, Dante and Rocco had felt it was important to support Laura at the tree lighting shouldn’t Kevin too?

Oh, I agree with this. Even in her first appearance as a teenager, she was very wooden, but not everyone can be a Kimberly McCullough, Jonathan Jackson, or Amber Tamblyn. My issue is with her introduction and lacking Emma's...essence, for the lack of a better word, for me.

And I'd rather they found someone who looked more like Kimberly/Robin, than dishrag Anna.

Kevin is probably working day and night trying to deal with all the Port Charles citizens with weird psychological problems. This is a town that needs more than one psychiatrist.

Why isn't there one? We need some outright bad people, and an unethical therapist would be a gold mine of drama. (It's not as if any medical professional cares about HIPAA unless the plot demands it.) Carlo Rota popping in every so often to growl about his diamonds doesn't cut it.

The timing at least is insanely stupid. There is so much going on with Lulu awake, Lucky back, mysterious deaths at GH, newfound Scorpios, double adultery at the Q mansion - all stories that could use some layers and longer scenes.

Instead we get yet another retcon shoehorned in. I'd ask why but we all know why. They want to keep Gio and the most boring couple in daytime needs some drama that doesn't require them to actually do anything dramatic.

Eta: I'm truly glad that GH is pretty watchable right now. If Gio is the price, it isn't the worst thing this show has ever done.

Yes actually. That’s exactly what he expected. And he’s probably not wrong, considering the way she’s been acting toward him ever since. The whole ‘oh noes you and scout will be all alone for Christmas! Come to Nina’s’ and ‘golly gee, how could Michael do such a terrible thing to such a wonderful man?’when she discovered Michael took Aurora away from him. 🤮

honestly I wish someone would suggest therapy to her because she really needs to understand why she keeps falling for men who will ‘save her.’ The woman has no agency.

I wanted to yell at Willow over that stupid as hell remark" Bitch, Micheal did that cause of you his fake always has to be the victim lying backstabbing wife fucking his Creepy  backstabbing Uncle.  What a great guy Drew is. Thing is Willow seems not one bit remorseful for lusting after her uncle in law for months before fucking him while Micheals had gulit over his and Sashas drunken tryst after finding out about her infidelity and still wants the marriage to last. I wish Willow would drop the act.

Willow isn’t remorseful. I don’t know how much of this is the actress or the direction, but she was the same way with Chase. When Willow was done with Chase, she stopped showing any feelings for him. It was like she didn’t even like him as a friend anymore. She flipped a switch and turned off all feeling for him. When he was seizing, she just looked at him and then gave googly/sad eyes to Michael. There was no nuance or layers to her performance. She was done with Chase.

I get the same vibes now. She’s done with Michael. Taking CM at his word, the show believes Drillow is a love story. If that’s what Katey’s been told, then she’s likely turned off her feelings for Michael and is focused on Drew now. I don’t think the actress can do nuance or layers. It’s rather shocking how much Willow doesn’t seem to care at all about Michael but not surprising given her treatment of Chase.

The bad writing coupled with the weak performances has made this entire story a massive disappointment. We could have seen Michael release the same anger and passion he had for his dad here but we’ve gotten weak, simp Michael who just wants his marriage to work. Even his takedown of Drew was done in a passive, uninteresting way. Curtis shined more! It’s no wonder Chad quit! SMH! Willow could be feeling guilt AND lust for Drew but we’ve just gotten her lusting for Drew with no concern at all for Michael! Millow have yet to talk!! Willow didn’t even text him that her mom sent the papers, not her. She doesn’t care what Michael thinks or does! It’s ridiculous! I don’t even know what they’re doing with Drew in this story. He’s just awful and so far from even the Drew CM used to be. It’s so weird. Also, there’s no real reason Nina wouldn’t have told Willow she and Drew slept together multiple times. Willow can’t be mad at her, and screw her if she is! This story is just a mess and not in a good, soapy way, IMO.

I noticed the country code, 420, on Charlotte's call - looked it up and it is the Czech Republic.  I'm sure Port Charles Int'l Airport has direct flights.  And Lulu has the money and a current passport.  And the language skills....   and her anti-rejection meds and whatever else she should be on.   @@

I don't know how they are getting rid of Michael, but I hope they don't kill him off.  I can't handle the many months of Carly's and Sonny's PAAAINNN that would follow.  I know they said they aren't recasting, but I hope they do; that guy who fills in occasionally is pretty good, and I'm sure there are plenty of other actors who could do the part justice.

The passport is the least problematic - for adults they are issued for 10 years, so she very well could have a current one. But everything else, yeah. They don't have to be realistic but a line here or there would help a lot. How hard would it be to have Lulu tell Laura thanks and she'll pay her back? Or even have a pill bottle in her purse?

But what about the picture in the passport? What about the picture!!

I haven't been in a coma for 4 years (or any years) and it always takes me forever to find my passport.  How did she even begin to know where it is?

I was really hoping Dante would be able to catch that plane.  It would be the only saving grace to Lulu's quest.  But at least she has a quest, which reflects more thought going into her return than that which has gone into her brother's.

Jack waxing philosophic was a pleasant surprise.  Liking the character more and more.

I'm not really a fan of the changes in Emma, but I am very much a fan of the kind of relaxed family interaction we saw among the Scorpio women.  Anna found her personality again, and I enjoyed she and Felicia silently communicating about something being up with Emma.  This is a big part of what I have been missing in the show.

Go, Lucas, to speak truth to the weak-willed.  I'm glad he's in this now.  Of all of the pseudo-adults involved, he is the only one who has actually ever put the child's needs above his own.

Interesting conversation between Jason and Michael, where Jason could be both encouraging and a realist.  Similarly, a nice, non-mobster moment between Sonny and Kristina.  It was a genuine father/daughter exchange, no revenge-planning activities involved.  And then the heart clutch.  Hmm.  Where is this going?

AS remembered to change Brooklyn's facial expression when Chase said she'd never been pregnant, so I guess we are going there.  Wait until they find out that an elevated body temperature can contribute to infertility.

I am 99% sure thatSonny's next story is going to end with him needing a new heart and with Isaiah working at GH, that will be the next organ donation story. And I am only 75% sure that Drew gets murdered and Sonny gets his heart and Jason gets Scout.

BLQ should tell Chase that she was a teen mom that gave up her child for adoption. Something is definitely going to show up now that they are both being tested and Chase is not going to think less of her. She can even keep Dante's name out of it.

I think Jack is going to recruit Joss for the WSB.

Rocco says he is okay with Lulu getting back Charlotte because he misses his sister but both his parents are going to miss Christmas with him just because Lulu could not wait one more day to fly out to Prague. I imagine is going to use her Girl Reporter skills for this mission but is completely oblivious that she is being tailed by the female WSB agent.

Nina if you want Willow to get custody of the kids, tell her about your sexy times with Drew.

Drew if you want to support Willow getting custody of the kids, stay away from her until the issue has been resolved.

Willow? How are you not uncomfortable with the desperate, cloying ways that Nina and Drew are offering their support for you.

I missed a good chunk of the episode (including the Lucas yelling) but Nina, Drew, and Willow make me #TeamMichaelWhoCoveredAMurder which I hate.

And as much as love Jack, suffering through him having a long chat with Joss was too much for me. I was hoping for a mistletoe kiss with Carly though.

Nululu’s storyline doesn’t show her in the best light. (Dumb, dumb, stubborn, careless with other people’s feelings).

The Sonny heart clutching was unexpected and interesting, but I’m lowering my expectations because - gesturing widely at this whole year.

I suppose Show is trying to say she learned her lesson from accepting Heinrich right away, so Sasha must be suspect? That is NOT Emma's personality.

I'll watch in just a few minutes to see if this is how it's coming across.

I'm fine with Emma so far.  As far as her changing?  We've only seen her sparingly since she hit her teens, so as far as I'm concerned, she's somewhat of a blank slate.  I'm interested to see where this goes.

I also really like the continued bonding between Lucas and Ava.  And loved the hard truths he gave Willow.  Drew acting self-righteous was laughable.  He's such a snake.

Lulu continues to kind of suck.

I see BL inherited her mother's poker face.  Chase truly has no detective skills if he couldn't see her 'oh, shit' expression when he said she had never been pregnant before.

Jack is super charming and I have to admit this is the most chemistry I think I've ever seen LW have with another actor.

Oh, great, Sonny's getting a health scare.  GO INTO THE LIGHT!!!

Rocco's "Zoinks!" face was pretty funny when Dante and Laura were comparing notes about Lulu. It was good of Laura to make sure Rocco was okay with Lulu running off.

I'm okay waiting to see where this goes, but all of her questions to Sasha were rude, and she's old enough to know that.

"Don't you use my sister's death to justify sleeping with our nephew's wife." Do the writers read what they write? If this doesn't indicate too many people are related, nothing will.

Does no one understand the idea of joint custody? Willow, Michael, and Sonny are all hell-bent on making sure the other parent won't have their kids. So much for them being the most important thing in their lives.

Not only were they rude, but since when does Emma also make cracks about the Quartermaines?! Robin had a good relationship with them. As did she when she was a kid. It hasn’t been that long since she was last in Port  Charles, and all the sweetness is gone.  And “over the west coast” comment? Really? She’s spent more of her life in California than she has in PC.

So I’ll sit at my table of one, unhappy at the changes made to the character.

If there ever was a case when the parents should get joint custody, it is with Michael and Willow. They have previously been shown to be loving, attentive parents if a bit delusional about their precious Wylie. Despite their cheating on one another, they had previously respected and trusted each other as parents.

Rather than not talking to each other, they need to start making arrangements with how they should move forward to parent the kids. Willow should move back to the Gatehouse as that has been the kids home for most of their lives and they should not be stuck in the two extra rooms at Nina's condo with a brand new nanny.

How is Brooklyn going to get pregnant wearing sweats and a hoodie to bed? Asking for a friend.

CM is a little long in the tooth if he thinks Drew & Willow are the next Luke and Laura. Just sayin…..That said, he looks great with his scruff and is a good looking guy but he ain’t any Billy Miller. I’m guessing the Drew & Willow love story was sped up because Chad Duell is leaving the show. Either way, I’m not buying what they are selling.

Sonny either has bad indigestion or is the the potential murder victim (it will never happen) at GH. Of course, Sonny will save the day and find out who the killer is. How else will Sonny get his key to the city of Port Charles. Laura the Mayor (is she still Mayor?) and Sonny (the murdering thug) hugging in the town square. It just screams Christmas. Oh, brother!!!!

I'm behind a day or two, and it took me way too long to figure out who fit the profile to be saying "my sister's death/our nephew's wife." I'm sitting here thinking "no, neither Kristina nor Molly is Michael's aunt... Oh, yeah, right, Lucas!"

The bank of Tracy.

As much as I wanted Dante to catch the plane, And I did, it is just another parent leaving him on Christmas. If the plane goes down he’ll have lost 3.

Does the bank of Tracy extend to Dante if he’s trying to help Lulu?

Do the Qs have a jet?

This is the first time I’ve connected with Lucas since the recast.

Too early for me to pass judgement on Emma. Yes she’s hiding something but she’s a young adult. She’s not who she was as a kid but who is at that age?

I am absolutely struggling to figure out how or why Lucas gives a shit about Willow and Drew, and I have watched this show for over 30 fucking years. Yes, I know Lucas is Carly's brother but let's not pretend he and Michael have a deep relationship. (Outside of that one time Fluke tried to get what R&B hitmakers Next would call "Too Close" to Michael and Ryan Carnes' Lucas back in the Carlivati era.)
