I don’t necessarily want to see Brad and Lucas reunited, but I thought the actors had chemistry together. Despite this being a different Lucas, I bought that they had history together.

I can't help feeling a bit squicky about Brad and Lucas. Lucas told Brad to leave him alone, yet there he is crying in Brad's arms. I get that Brad is someone Lucas has history with, and I didn't mind Brad expressing sympathy. But it feels like the show is trying to put them together again, and with their history, I need a lot more than just "Lucas is sad that his sister died and he's feeling alone." (Gross simplification.) The reasons they broke up in the first place were real and substantial, even if a lot of it was because Brad felt cornered by events and people like Julian.

But Carly? MYOB, you meddler. I had to laugh that she barged into the staff locker room. Of course she has no boundaries.

Me: Jagger would like a word.

I would laugh so hard if along with Sasha's kidnapping, Anna sees that Sonny killed Jagger.

I also remember a lot of scenes beside the lockers for Patrick and his duplicitous med-school friend who was still carrying a torch (Lisa?), and a cutesy scene of some female character (Maxie?) walking in on a naked Griffin. I think they made the choice about the locker room just to facilitate those scenes.

Carly horning into everyone's lives is the real story on page one. But of course she does. I wonder how many oft-married middle-aged moms in the real world are that aggressive on behalf of their surgeon brother. I'll give Laura Wright this: she always plays those types of scenes (with everyone Carly wants to "protect") with the right note. As if it's maybe half real concern and half just relishing the opportunity to get in someone's face.

Perfectly said. I know a lot of people don't like LW's Carly, but she knows exactly who she is and how to play her.

Sean Kanan was the only actor Laura Wright sparked with (IMO) and they would have nailed the “I hate that I love you” soapy dynamic.

She also had chemistry with Roger Hogarth when he was playing Todd.  Other than that Laura just doesn’t have romantic chemistry with anyone imo.

This got me thinking…where does Jason live now?  Have we ever seen his apartment/house?

I always liked Lucas and Brad and while I’m still getting used to NuLucas I wouldn’t mind them getting back together.  I always found Brad more interesting than Lucas anyway.  I was very distracted but the shower running in the background though.  I was like someone needs to shut that off, ha!

She is one of the people Mo always seems to up his game a little for. The bulk of the time I find Sonny tolerable, he's in scenes with NLG.

I actually like Mo when he’s playing a supporting role in stories.  I’ve liked him in his scenes with Dom and Nancy this week. I wish they would transition Sonny to being more of an elderly statesman type role.  He has the empathy to do it and it’s more believable than when he tries to act all tough mobster guy.

Edit:  I meant ELDER not elderly, lmao!

I would love nothing more than a redux of Alan/Monica/Rick where Michael tries to drop a house on the uncle and uncle fucker and ends up under the rubble himself. A pox on all three of them.

I want Micheal putting all the chaos on his backstabbing Uncle and Wife. I've wanted to see it since Willow and Drews first eye bleach needed makeout.

I thought she and Ingo had chemistry, and I, so far, think she and CM have chemistry. But that is probably largely him, since he seems to have chemistry with everyone they've thrown Brennan in scenes with so far.

JE is a treasure and the Tracy/Cody scenes were delightful.. (Does Tracy have a hair stylist come in every morning to do her hair? Those hairstyles are gorgeous but very complicated to do by oneself.)

It's understandable that Alexis and Dante haven't talked about where Danny and Scout will be staying now. Their scene was painful to watch, in a good way.

Now that Jason has rescued Sasha, is she going to sleep with him? Willow tells me that it's the right thing to do.

Brennan promised Anna to keep her informed about what's going on but doesn't call her. He's perfect for Carly.

Ric was right that Anna is too close to mobsters but it falls flat because of the messenger.

Chase and Brook Lynn are pure Zzzzzzz.

She does it for those she deems worthy of her concern (always her kids and grandkids; other people depending on how she feels about them in that particular moment) but the opportunity to get in someones face and yell at them energizes her, like a good workout or a win at work energizes others.

I guess Alexis considers the Penthouse to be Sam's home and expects Dante and Rocco to move out. It was stupid and not Olivia's place to be all, hey Alexis, you could live here too. Dante tears up but doesn't object/protest about her intention to have her grandkids live with her? Or maybe the "we'd stay here for a while" was a delay tactic.

I saw Jason and Sasha running away as the explosion happened and rolled my eyes. Does the Show actually think the audience would think for a moment Jason didn't survive? Sasha gets a few scratches and his t-shirt is a little dirty. This "drama" was a non-event. Why is Robert calling Holly "babe"?

Speaking for the audience: JE's brilliance with Tracy's mouth agape look of shock when Cody revealed the Robert/Sasha connection.

I think that they might be chem testing them, tbh. She has a pretty similar background to Sam's for one.

Did Jason change his shirt between escaping the explosion and arriving at the WSB office. Also Holly didn't get very far. And I cannot say enough how tired of her I am.

The Alexis/Dante scene made me tear up. When they were talking about where Danny and Scout should live, you just really got the sense that this family has imploded and Sam has been dead for like a day.

I think I will enjoy the hell out of Tracy and Cody watching Drew's every move. Too bad Michael already knows that he banged his wife.

Dante, maybe the kids would be relieved to see you fall apart in front of them. Maybe you can all cry together.

LOL at the fake flashback of Dante showing Olivia the engagement ring.

Loved how she said "Wow" when each new fact came out.

I am very tired of impish but deadly Sidwell. I hope he's gone from PC forever. (Sorry Carlo Rota!)

LOL at Jason busting down the door with one foot. The CGI for the explosion was so cheesy. Cheap effects always look like cheap effects—I don't know why they even go there.

Same, and Michael knowing does take a lot of the fun out of it, as does anything regarding Michael. Cody protesting that Drew just waltzed in and assumed he could be bought when Drew was able to pay him off was dumb. At least Tracy scolded him for not holding out for more dough.

What was the evidence Dex showed Anna? I couldn't tell.

Some stories are dragged out over months, and here we have a paternity reveal, kidnapping and recovery all in under two weeks time.  Just when I was gearing up for a good Scorpio adventure.  Sigh.

The embrace between Robert and Sasha would have been more impactful if: a) they had ever spent more than five minutes in a room together; and b) she'd been missing for more than a day.  Not enough relationship established for a good payoff.

The scenes between Alexis and Olivia were well done, with a touch of restraint lain over their grief.  Did we ever see them interacting as members of Dante and Sam's family?  Also, I think we need to see Ned here soon.  He and Alexis were married, after all, and they are connected through their children/stepchildren.

Best of the day for me were Tracy and Cody.  She perfectly embodied my reaction to the Robert paternity revelation, and to Cody letting Drew have it.

That's an ewwww for me. Not just the sister to Robin thing but mostly that SBu has aged badly and looks more than 20 years older than Sofia. I's rather Jason with Anna than Sasha.

A delaying tactic so that he doesn't have to make any decisions right now (he's putting all of the funeral in Alexis' hands) but it also makes sense because it gives the greatest stability to the kids at the moment.Alexis is in no shape to deal with the upheaval of them moving in with her and dealing with their grief and loss as well as her own.

Maybe because he is? I mean, SBu is at least 50, right? And Sasha is in her early 30s. Either way, I don’t want to see them together. Sasha may be as dull as watching paint dry but even she deserves better than Jason!

I'm only up to Wednesday but Drew and Willow suck.  And it's so funny because when they started my first thought was what if Scout has a nightmare and goes looking for Drew.  I must be TV psychic, LOL.  Glad Michael caught them.

And man there's a lot happening at the Q mansion in one night.  Affairs, mourning, kidnappings (that seriously nobody noticed? I understand it's a big house, but come on).  And this is the longest Halloween since Nikolas's murder-filled Bachanalia.

Anyway, Brooklyn for the win. Obviously hot chocolate is not going to take away any grief, but she did what she could instead of running off and having sex with someone inappropriate.

Why is Alexis is such in a rush. Sam's been dead 24 hrs and she's asking where Dante and Dante will live? Give them at least until funeral to start that, one step at a time.

When would Dante have time for plans?

Shouldn't Ric being there for his daughter instead of still going around protecting Ava.

Lol at Tracy's reaction to the cousins.

I half expect Sasha and Jason to sleep together within the next day or so leading to a double who’s the father storyline with either no babies belonging to Michael or one of them having twins with two different fathers. Either way, all babies will end up being Qs.

I'm worried about even the idea of this.  Please no.  He looks way too old for her.  If they are going age difference, then he and Anna look closer in age, let's be honest.  I know there's the whole Robin thing, and I am not a fan of a Jason and Anna pairing, but this?  No please.

Watched most of Friday’s episode. SB is back to “head in the dear lights” acting. I didn’t see a hint of romance there. I don’t think Jason would want to keep Michael’s kid away from him which is where his would lead so I’ll just put it out of my mind.

Too late for the Anna/Jason pairing with the negative uproar of pearl clutching it created. I was fine with them trying because SB can’t do romance anymore anyways and anything to avoid The Carly Show.

Wish we had seen more of Brennan. I always wish we see more Brennan.

I liked than Robert stopped himself from hugging Sasha and that she hugged him instead because she saw he needed it more than her. It was a sweet moment.

I hated that the show put was put in the Qs kitchen and want her out of there with any means necessary.

Now that Tracy has endeared me to Cody, I want him out of the barn too.

I agree, I think she sees herself alone now and wants family members near her who she can take care of, and don’t act like 4-yr olds and argue all the time (looking at you Molly and Kristina). She should stay at the Qs instead of not sleeping in her bed alone.

NLG and DZ were great in their scenes.

Are her nails new? The glamour of them (and paleness) took me out of the mood a bit.

Did anyone think they were gonna kill Sasha right on the heels of Sam’s death? Anyone? Show of hands?

I would really love for this show to have a good entertaining villain, someone like Carlo Hesser comes to mind. The problem with this show is we’ve turned the guys who should be villains into heroes (Robert, the DA, waxing on about how Jason would save Sasha made me want to vomit) so the villains have to be super extra mustache twirly.

I know Alexis is grieving, so I’ll give her a pass, but the decisions on where the kids should live doesn’t have to be made this second and the kids are old enough to have a say in that too.

If we have Sasha, Willow, and BLQ all pregnant at the same time, I’m going to have to watch through my fingers as I fear how this show will have that play out. Two of the characters have already lost babies post-birth and I just don’t find baby switch stories entertaining, especially in an age where a DNA test can quickly be done.

If Sasha does end up pregnant, that's one baby they have to let live and be healthy. I am not up for watching Sasha go through more loss. Let the poor woman have some positivity in her life for once. Of course, I also don't want her to end up with Michael. I'm hoping that, if they do even head that way, she eventually uncovers some evil revenge plot he's been working against Willow and Drew and dumps his ass. (We all know he's going to have some elaborate revenge plot, because it's what he does every time someone displeases him.) I think they very well may go the Sasha/Jason route, though. His only romantic options now are her or Anna.

We're definitely getting a BLQ/Chase fertility issues storyline, aren't we?

I loved the Cody/Tracy scenes. I don't give this regime credit for much, but I do appreciate that they keep Tracy involved in storylines instead of shoving her off to the side to only be seen for holidays, weddings, and funerals. Because Tracy just makes everything better. Also, I really need to know JE's skincare routine.

The only good thing about yesterday’s show were the scenes with Tracy and Cody.

I hate hate hate that Robert is just used as a bystander metaphorically wringing his hands instead of being involved. I know he couldn’t be part of the “action” in saving Sasha as he was for Robin (and that will always be AWESOMESAUCE for me with Robin getting ready to bean him, not knowing it was Robert, and then her “Daddy?” before they hugged), but I wanted him in charge of the operation, his no longer being part of the WSB be damned! It’s not like this show or any other actually follow real life anyway!

Holly can go any time now. Blah, blah, Sasha is the most important, eh? What about your other spawn, Teethan? But it looks like she’s still around and now demanding “you owe me” from someone on Monday.

And no Lucky? So while JJ is supposedly on a longer contract (still not in the credits!) I guess I’ll only get to see him every other week? BAH!

Michael’s elaborate revenge plots usually go the way of my elaborate spaghetti dinner plans when I was in college where I’m planning to simmer a meat and also a vegetarian sauce all day and it’s going to be epic, and by 2pm I’m drunk on the floor asking if the pasghetti is okay and who brought wine? And I hate comparing myself to Michael in any way!

I’m sure they’ll chem test him against nuLulu. Or they’ve been sprinkling a lot of meaningful moments with Elizabeth just in case JJ bails. Carly is always an option too for whenever he’s desperate.

NOOOOOOOO!! On both counts. Sasha deserves better than being saddled with a kid with the giant bag of crap in the shape of a man, and yet it'd be heartless to wish for a tock after all Sasha's been through. And the odds of her surviving a fling with Jason aren't great either (just look at Sam and Britt). Why can't they just forget undo this BS paternity story, like they did with Chase and Finn, and just put her back with Cody? I really liked them together. The writers are great at selective amnesia when it suits them, why can't this be one of those times? Please?

Yay! It’s always nice to find another Brucas fan, especially one who also finds Brad more interesting than Lucas! That is very rare! I’m not alone!! lol

I would love to see Brucas reconcile. I’ve been wanting that since they broke up. I hate that Brad was thrown under the bus because CL quit the show! After Ron C left, the writers had no respect for Brucas or their fans! That Wiley story will forever be crap to me! Anyway, I thought VH and PS had good vibes (until Cujo entered the picture), but I hope we do see them reunite. It’s about time, IMO.

I will never understand why Brad is irredeemable and Brucas should never be together again in some ppl’s eyes when other pairings have reunited after murder attempts, threats to kill, infidelity, baby lies/secrets, etc. Holly and Portia kept whole children from their significant others, and both are with their guys now. What Brad did was dumb, but it wasn’t done maliciously, and he agonized over his actions. I don’t know. Unlike many characters, Brad went to jail for his crime and paid his price. For a soap, I see no reason why Lucas couldn’t give him another chance. And Carly “I’ve remarried my ex 9 million times“ Corinthos can shut up and mind her business. Lucas is a grown man and doesn’t need her input or advice! Hypocritical witch!

Brad is irredeemable in some people's eyes because he went up against Michael. Julian was irredeemable not because he held a knife at Alexis's throat but because he went up against the gummy bears.

This is just how a segment of the fandom swings.

Brad is considered irredeemable both because he kept the baby away from Michael and because he let Lucas get attached to/fall in love with their "son" knowing he wasn't the baby they really adopted, so he inevitably set up his husband for heartbreak. Julian was irredeemable because he (on Cyrus's order, to kill Jason) placed a bomb at a bar knowing a bunch of innocent people could get hurt or killed. Lulu wound up in a coma, Lulu's boyfriend/the teen group's English teacher died, and one of the teenagers (the boy who lived with Sonny and had a crush on Joss) died.

Which was another example of sloppy/ inconsistent writing. Tracy goes looking for Sasha and chats with Cody, complaining about the kids not having food. Meanwhile, Brooklyn tells Dante and Chase that everybody has eaten dinner and there are a ton of leftovers if they want food.

The writers are clearly not reading each other's scripts.

Julian was irredeemable way before this happened. By the time he planted the bomb, we knew he was on his way out.

In the meantime, Laura can sit and have a convo with the guy who helped put her daughter in a coma. People don't love Cyrus. but he isn't persona non grata.

I will always like Brad because he had Britt’s endorsement and that’s enough for me. I’m still not sure about this new Lucas, but if he’s sticking around and needs a love interest, of course it will be Brad because this show can only accommodate so many gay characters at once. Either way, Carly needs to keep her nose out of it because it’s none of her business who Lucas talks to.

I didn’t find anything strange about there being a nanny cam. I have a camera in my living room so I can keep an eye on the dogs when I’m out of the house. For a busy parent, it’s an easy way to check in your kid when you’re at work, not necessarily to monitor the nanny. I did enjoy Michael’s expression when he saw the video— maybe the only good acting I’ve ever seen from CD. I’m in the drop-a-crane camp— or at least hoping for some good adversarial action. Millow Vanillow has always been boring, but Millow vs Vanillow? There could be something there.

I agree with everyone about the great acting from NLG, and I appreciate the attention given to Sam as a long-term character, but I hope they wrap up the grief scenes soon. Real life has been depressing enough, I just need a little more joy in my shows. Or at least some vengeful crane dropping to satisfy my darker impulses.

I don’t know which pairing is less appealing: Jason and Anna or Jason and Sasha. I have a feeling the show is heading for the latter, with maybe a little Anna jealousy thrown in just to further destroy her character. Not looking forward to it.

He kind of is, but his embrace of that ol' time religion has tempered things somewhat. And anyway, there's Heather (who will no doubt return to bore us further), and Ava is rapidly climbing the ladder of Who PC Hates the Most Right Now.

That would be two. Blaze was conveniently sent on tour, and with Kristina grieving, so we don't have to deal with her outside of that.
