Especially when you show up late for it because you needed your friends to sufficiently catcall you in the hotel after you'd thrown all your clothes across the floor instead of rose petals.

Men, don't do this.  Just don't.  Offer to let her take your card into the store and tell her you'll wait for her at Starbucks, FFS.  You have no idea what will make her feel sexy and it's just so ick at any stage in the relationship.

Yeah unfortunately I have to agree- there have been a lot of beautiful women approved for their work visas without being suspected of sex work; something's on poor Julianna's record.

clip_20191101_90day_298251_560x315_16344

He looks unfortunate like this all the time.  Especially when he's waxing poetic about the many things women are good for, ex: sex and afterschool pickups.

Fair warning, I'm gonna fucking hate this guy and not shut up about it.

He looks like one of Fat Albert’s friends.

Juliana is quite elfin and slight.

It got me thinking that Douchie was shocked, SHOCKED! that she was 20... because he thought she was 14.

Also an escort on a yacht... in Croatia... a destitute girl from the depths of Brazil surrounded by rich horny dudes...

It would have to be an international airport.  I wondered about that too.

But why would she leave her minor child with this fool?

Most people don't drive 7 hours to an international airport. They fly in and out of a local airport to an airport that is an international gateway, like Chicago. Sometimes it's cheaper to fly into a gateway rather than changing planes. But any cost savings would be eaten up by gas for a 7 hour x2 trip, plus a hotel room. My guess is that MRSA (sorry I can't help myself) is a simple guy who speaks zero English and she was afraid that he couldn't handle changing planes in Chicago to fly closer to her home. I also think she wanted an excuse to go to a hotel with him. Can you imagine bringing some guy you barely know home to your 3 kids, 2 of which are teen boys and getting it on in the bedroom next to them?

I’m a disturbed that Juliana was asked if she had been working as a prostitute in the last 10 years—since that could potentially mean she was a sex trafficked child.  I wonder if she has an arrest for prostitution on her record? or perhaps got arrested for recruiting other girls?

Lots of rich Russian oligarchs like to party in countries like Croatia.  They like pretty girls and they have yachts.

In any case, I hope Juliana takes wine guy for every penny he has.

I think the prostitution question is standard for immigration interviews.  They also ask if you are or have been involved in terrorism.

I assume these are mainly perjury trap questions.  They don't really expect anyone to answer "Yes", but if they later find proof that they lied, they can be easily deported for lying on forms or in an interview.

And I suspect that they don't simply come out and ask if you are a sex worker. There are probably a set of questions designed to elict information. I bet that when you list "model" as your occupation, and you are 20, from a country known for trafficking, it raises red flags with DHS. Lots of women get trafficked in and out of the country who are supposedly models.

Syngin reminds me of Steve Zahn, both in his looks and goofy demeanor.

Juliana sort of reminds me of Brenda Lowe, from Survivor.

Emily and her sister look like Elizabeth and her sisters.  He sister really looks like Elizabeth.

Mursel looks like an older, much less well groomed, Turkish, Teem.  Huge head, no shoulders.

I am pretty sure they directly ask the question to all applicants.

https://www.boundless.com/immigration-resources/questions-to-expect-in-a-green-card-application/

"The questions asked in this portion of the green card application are too numerous to list in this guide. Briefly, this section asks about your involvement in any organizations or groups that the U.S. government may or may not deem threats to national security. It further asks if you have ever engaged, or plan to engage, in any type of illegal activity (such as human trafficking, money laundering, prostitution, and terrorism). Other questions include those related to your personal conduct, previous acceptance of public assistance benefits, and previous illegal entry to the United States, if applicable."

Apparently they also ask "Have you ever been arrested of convicted for any offense or crime, even through subject of a pardon, amnesty or other similar legal action? Have you ever unlawfully distributed or sold a controlled substance (drug), or been a prostitute or procurer for prostitutes?". So perhaps she has a history.

It amazes me how many of these Americans with minor children have no problem inviting a stranger from another country, in some cases who doesn't speak English, to live with them and their minor children.  I agree that Robert is looking for a surrogate wife for him and a surrogate mother for her son, probably because he can't afford a nanny on an Uber driver's salary.  It also amazes me that they consider themselves to be in a "relationship" when they've only face timed and messaged each other.

Maybe these folks feel that Americans are "tainted" in some way, while foreigners are "pure?"  I don't know.

I've always found this baffling, regardless of whether or not they're searching for an international honey.  RUN A BACKGROUND CHECK, LADIES.  Nothing worse that uprooting your and your kid's life to find out you're new internet hottie is a convicted felon who can't leave his mamma's house after 9PM without pre-arranging it with his PO (yes, I know someone who found herself in this predicament).  Or worse.  Much, much worse.

That is for immigration purposes. It will make it appear as though they’ve spent at least a week together, instead of mere hours.

She complained that his ex allows him to see his son only on holidays.  How often does she think he’s going to see either of his kids when he joins her in the U.S.?  I guess they aren’t that important to him after all.

What struck me was telling the kid to his face that Anny thinks he's a monster.  Way to start out on a good note.  Tell him his "stepmother"(?) doesn't like him before she even gets there while encouraging him to misbehave - what could go wrong here?

At least the beekeeper couple met on a website devoted to a mutual interest - she wasn't out trolling for a foreign man and he wasn't automatically looking for any American woman he could find.  He is also age appropriate - so I have some hope for them.  The communication thing is a problem, but she seems genuinely interested in learning from him - like she won't still be using a translator app a few years from now (looking at YOU Paul).  As for her teenage sons, I would be a LOT more alarmed if they WERE showing wild enthusiasm for this guy.  Though I don't really know a lot about teens I think their general lack of interest, (along with a somewhat juvenile interest in trolling him - offering a Muslim bacon) seems like pretty standard behavior.

The two younger kids look like they would fight you for the last piece of bacon.

I liked the idea of these kids being able to "joke" about Mom's new BF.  Perhaps they think it's a bit crazy of an idea to bring over this Muslim guy she can't communicate with.  That's certainly my view.  For reasons I can't quite imagine, Mom's neediness and lack of foresight trumps all

Btw, my wife hearing the father is out of the picture and abusive...and the general family situation...thinks he's in jail.

The rich dude has some pretty cool kids. It was funny how they were sarcastically digging him about his “fiancés” age and basically saying they weren’t concerned about her like it wasn’t a real relationship. But really - pretentious sports cars are for driving around pretentiously, not toting around children. He is probably that one dumbass that tries to drive a sports car in the snow too.

There’s only one way a young girl without connections or money ends up on a rich dude party yacht, and that is through the sex trade. She’s there to “entertain” the rich dudes, what else would she be there for? Conversation? And yeah rich dude is the one guy that hit it off with her personality... right. Also she had assistance in traveling to Croatia for the purposes of sex... that’s called sex trafficking.

Wine guy said she was 20 when they met 2 years ago. So she could now be 22 or 23.

It sounded like they tried to bring her in on a work visa. I would think it would be pretty difficult to get a work visa for the US for modeling work since it is not a skill that is in high demand vs number of people qualified to perform the skill. An intercompany sponsored work visa requires you to have worked for the company for at least a year. She would have had to find a US modeling agency willing to say she worked for them in Brazil for a year and they needed to relocate her to the States to fill a position.

I don't understand why she didn't just apply for a 90 day visitor visa. She wouldn't be able to work for 90 days on the spousal visa either.

I don't know if it's a myth (never wanted to find out the hard way myself) but don't they say you can become dependent on vibrators and could end up only being able to achieve orgasm with one? And what's with all these sexual enhancements, supplements, toys and what not this girl needs? She's young (under 30, right?) IMO when you're that age and with a new partner and things aren't coming along naturally, maybe you need a different partner or have to educate that partner. Maybe said partner is a dud.

For posterity.

It would have been even better is Omar didn't speak English.

I was thinking he was a friend or relative that Omar brought along to stay with Anna and the bees.    If Omar didn't speak English, Anna might have taken him home, along with Mursel, and he'd be around for days before she figured out he was just a guy Mursel met on the plane.

This is very superficial of me, but I just can't help but snark. I get SUPER judgmental when I see scenes of these folks cooking and they're cookware/pots & pans are old and grimy or stained. The she-shed Mom and Anna had horrible cookware. Like, if I ever were to be featured on tv, I'd would have to plan like a madwoman because I know I'd be dragged to heck and back. But my kitchen would be spot on! It's just a pet peeve of mine when these folks KNOW they'll be on tv and their houses are out of order.

And I most certainly would be embarrassed to be on tv and living in a shed! I just can't imagine not having any shame... I'd at least save for a studio apartment! If I could not even afford that, then I would reconsider marrying altogether.

Super suspicious how a 20 year old from Brazil gets to “party” on a yacht in Croatia almost 6,000 miles away.

As far as the Omar at the airport scenario, I think they were on the same flight from Turkey, both traveling alone and struck up a conversation like people do at the airport or in line at Customs or maybe were even seatmates on the flight. Since both were “fish out of water” he must have been a curious onlooker when Murcel was surrounded by a camera crew and filmed meeting Anna in person. Maybe Murcel motioned him over because Omar spoke more English and could interpret for him
