I suspect that 95% of that came from him and whoever was playing Maria on phone or text was just "mmm hmm'ing" him.

Is Anastasia date or whatever this site is a webcam site?  I don't want Google thinking I'm into that sort of thing so I won't look it up, but I got the impression it was geared towards guys like ceasar looking for the "girlfriend experience" with a woman who they think is going to be their life mate or whatever.

I agree that Maria probably is not above....escorting?  But for rich dudes in Dubai, not poor men doing nails.

Yes I think this is the most likely scenario. Guys like Caesar are a dime a dozen and she probably has quite a few on a string, who each cough up a few hundred a month, for her day to day expenses, hair, makeup, clothes, whatever. If a certain well off gentleman would like to take a lovely, educated woman on vacation to an exotic spot, Maria will play the part of devoted wife/girlfriend. I'm sure she's looking to land a big fish, for matrimony, a good life, and a ticket out of Ukraine.

I thought the Jesse segment was hilarious. All I could think of was Harlan Pepper from Best in Show doing his lasso show at the VFW.

I mentioned this on the first page of this thread, LOL. And then other people brought up the Office episode where they went to a nursing home and someone else Better Call Saul went to sell to a bunch of geriatrics, It's a standard trope, It was so hard to believe it was real, as he is saying "I'm talking on big stages", they pan to these 95 year old deaf people! It;s been done countless times in comedies, but this was real.

Maria and Ceasar: It sounds like he paid her thru the website for 3 years. When they took it off site, they made some kind of financial agreement. I don't think she is allowed to take the business off site. But it was probably an arangement where he paid a bit less (minus agencies fees) and she earned a bit more (minus ageny's cut). I'm sure she said if we talk off site you need to compensate me.

Then the trip to Mexico- if she HAD gone (had went as Cesar says) she would have been on the show and paid by TLC Therefore she had to have been in negotiations with the show. I think she was considering it. I think she was halfway thinking about going to Mexico and being on the show, but she was not fully committed. Once she saw the flight had been cancelled, it made up her mind and she was like fuck that. This is why  Cesar was certain she was going to show, because he was privy to her negotiations with TLC. He realized HE fucked up and she changed her mind about the show.

Cesar got  on the show as a way to promote his acting, make extra money for her, so he contacted the show about his "girlfriend". Eventually she did agree to appear on the show but her side is like Cesar you KNOW what we both agreed to.

Like someone up-thread said, many European prostitutes (as well as American actresses and models) will go to Dubai to have all sorts of degrading things done to them by some Arab prince.  They'll do anything for the right price; that's just the kind of women they are.

But lots of ppl go there just to vacation, too. My bff went and said it was spectacular. I'd love to go one day.🍾

This show could save a lot of time if they dispensed with the scenes of people arriving in their cars, and walking to the stage (so many walks to the stage!). That annoyed the hell out of me.

No, TLC, don't cut that part! I love seeing how they're dressed and if they change to go on set.👗👘👠

I could suggest that TLC has asked her not to, in order to continue on the show.  There might even be something in the contract between Avery (and the others) and TLC that they can't sue for something like that.  The Bachelor franchise contracts have similar language.

They may not be able to sue TLC but they surely cannot be stopped from pressing charges, right? And suing her personally in a civil court? ⛓️👩‍⚖️

I've noticed they're on a slippery slope in regard to their faces. Drinking and weight gain are moving things around, not in a good way

I'm sure the two inappropriate gowns they wore were from the Goodwill, I've seen plenty of similar one-event dresses there. Also explains the ill-fit and Stacey's surprise about how far the split reached when she sat down. I agree with the above poster who mentioned their worn out hair extensions, and how some simple changes would improve their overall appearance.

Did anyone see the bonus clip of Tom taking Darcey to a prospective house he might buy as an investment? It was priced at 4 million pounds! As usual, Darcey was over the moon. She wore white pants in the scene, but had major VPL.  It was linked to a YT review by ebird online.

Angela really doesn't have the requisite temperament to work with children or the elderly. She also doesn't appear to possess the greatest decision making skills. A rather toxic combination for a person in a position that's supposed to care of the well-being of people who can't care for themselves. I doubt she's physically abusive with anyone but Michael and her kids, but there's very little doubt in my mind that she's verbally abusive in her daily life. She's a real piece of work.

Found on  my dvr a PT where we meet Maria for the first time (plus it covered pt1 of the tell all).

Anyway, I did some Maria sleuthing, around Kiev:

The opening shot (2nd actually) is an aerial view over part of Independence Square.  We see part of a low silver dome.  You can google that if interested.

The store that Maria walks into is at:

https://www.google.com/maps/place/Всі+Свої+Магазин/@50.4480828,30.5148836,15z/data=!4m8!1m2!2m1!1z0JLRgdGWLiDQodCy0L7RlyAga2lldg!3m4!1s0x0:0xfe79db6338206e2c!8m2!3d50.4441075!4d30.5218112

There is a streetview available, and you can see the actual steps and door that she and her friends go through.  So no matter how messed up this storyline is, the producers actually did some local filming.  Yay!

My mom was in assisted living until she died at 96, and the CNAs (Cert Nursing Asst) were involved in quite a lot of one-on-one care, like bathing and other personal things someone immobile can't handle. I assume Angela is a CNA. My mom was clever and wily, but when you're all alone there and your family is 3,000 miles away -- you know not to complain too much even if you've got your wits intact. My blood curdles to think what she did to people.

Something doesn’t make sense  to me. I keep reading that the other participants refused to film with Angela. However, when she disappeared, they were all wondering where she was. Even Avery. Who when told that she had left seemed puzzled. If they had asked for her to be removed, wouldn’t they know that she was gone?

The funniest part for me was when Angela asked Ben if he said anything to Jesse. He got so scared, he looked  like he wanted to pass out.  Poor guy.

Add to that her nicotine addiction- remember the scene in the car when she goes to light up, Michael gives her a look and she goes off on him? Something like "I'M GONNA SMOKE, MAHKUL!!"

I'm adding prescription pain pills, legit or black-market, to the cocktail. A lot of people working in nursing do heavy lifting and mess up their backs. Maybe you initially got an opioid (in the old days) and you moved on to ...something else... Then there are the emotions of dealing with dying people. It brings back my late Mom and Dad's last chapters...in facilities (won't explain...just call in the Kevorkian Squad if I ever end up like that).

Re: Jesse asking for coffee

While Jesse is a sanctimonious douche, I think it's likely that production told him he couldn't leave the room because they didn't want him inadvertently running into Darcy/Stacy....which would have ruined TLCs chance to capture that sweet drama on camera.

They probably also didn't want him talking to the other participants unless camera was rolling.

I'm rewatching (yeah, I know; I'm insane) and I laughed at loud at Jesse's "where is he now?" segment. He's "shining his light" on others- and he is GOING to get his psychology degree (not even there yet)- and I have a kid with a psych degree and there's no counseling or therapy you can do with the bachelor's. Then we see him talking to the poor captured seniors, and as he talks about "enjoying the ability to talk on big stages" the camera pans to him standing in the nursing home activity room with a giant poster of himself, in the penultimate pose, on the wall.  It was hilarious.

I also rewatched the green room scene and honestly, Jesse gets cred for completely keeping his cool (but he lost points when he called Avery "sweetheart" and then, after patiently trying to explain himself asked "what's your name again?"). The one who lit up very quickly was Tim. He has a very, very bad habit of talking over anyone who tries to have a conversation with him (as he slips his vape pen around). Ben kind of tried to point that out, but Tim and Avery talked over him so that point was lost.

Angela and her non-apologies. It's like if someone trash talks you and then says, "I'm sorry if that hurt your feelings." That is not an apology.  So just like with Michael's friends (the goofballs) she used the same tactic: "I'm sorry how I acted but I'm not sorry for what I said." As a reminder, she said "you don't listen; you're a grown-ass woman and can defend yourself; you're not acting like a Muslim; shut the fuck up; sit down; kiss my ass." But hey, she's sorry for how she acted. She really showed how simple stupid she is when she didn't quite get that if her daughter's egg is used to make a baby with Michael's sperm, it would be her daughter's child.  Duh.

Lots of scenes of limos and people carrying their clothes. If I am going somewhere and plan to change, I tend to put my clothes in some sort of bag.

I imagine that there must be legitimate, more or less, international dating websites, similar to Match or Tinder, where one pays a regular fee in order to participate. I suspect that Caesar started on one of those, and either got no responses, or the responses he got were not "vanilla creamy" enough for him. He then switched to the Anastasia site, where one pays for every interaction, and is the equivalent of those 1-900 phone sex lines (are they still a thing?). And he is deluded enough to think that Maria was really interested in him.

The whole Jesse segment irrates me, because there was no reason for him to be asked to be there or to accept.  They didn't just film him in studio, they followed him around to do a montage of his life (why???).  I don't blame Avery and Tim for questioning him.  And I sorta hate Avery and Tim, but they didn't yell at him or bully him- they just stated how they felt.  They were both on this season so I feel they have more right to speak about it than he does.  Avery went on too long about it, but I think she was trying to understand b/c he wasn't on this season.  Angela interjecting herself was totally not needed.  Jesse is a grown man and can defend his own self.  Jesse LOVED that people were fighting over him or about him.  And for all that went down , he sure didn't put himself out in asking Angela if she was okay after she fought for his honor.  Anyways, he wasn't part of the show this season, no one wanted to hear about his life, and no one needed any segments about him interacting with this season's cast.

Watching how Angela uses her volume, quickness, and physicality to intimidate other cast members engaged in something that was NONE OF HER BUSINESS gives us a sad look into what the lives of her children must have looked like growing up. If this is how she is on TV in front of the world, imagine what she was like when her kids pissed her off in the privacy of their home.

The worst offender, imo, was dweeb Cesear. Every item of clothing, including his nasty shoes, was loose and piled up in his arms. He looked like a servant off to wash his master's laundry.

Has this simpleton ever traveled anywhere on his own? Okay, he managed to get himself to Mexico, with a TV production company, who probably had to babysit him the entire time, so that doesn't count. The Caesar/Maria segment really annoyed me. He is playing his "poor pitiful me" role to the hilt. I just don't buy it. He just stares blankly when people say "dude, you were snookered." He MUST know. Yet he persists with the "I still lurve you; I just wanted you to know I loved you; I wanted to show everyone you are a good person." How valiant. He dragged this shit out to be on TV. And the others, mooning all over him like he's a wounded animal.  Oh-so-worldly Avery saying "breathe, Caesar!" and Rebecca patting his knee with her twisty-faced look of sympathy just irked me.  It's like they all know they are fame-seeking oddballs- so when they find someone stupider than themselves they puff themselves up, all full of sage advice about love and relationships.

So now Caesar ambles off, head down and a tear in his eye, to "walk the world."  I give very few shits for his sad sack act.  Anyone who goes on an international "dating site" and pays for tokens to see a pretty girl knows the deal. Stop acting like you knew anything about her.  At all.  I don't see Maria doing anything wrong- she was  riding a wave with a paying customer as long as she could.

So, I don't have strong feelings about Emma.  But one thing she and tom alluded to, that really struck me was that Darcy expects support but offers none.

I think this is true and I could see how annoying that could be.

I had a friend who would do this.  I generally didn't mind listening to her drama, but one of the few times I called her and needed support she just turned the conversation back to what was going on in her life.  I finally had to tell her about it because it was annoying.

And she was just my friend.

I cannot imagine a relationship where you get drunk called at all hours and subjected to Darcy's every thought on how poorly she was treated by Tom and have to be supportive through YEARS of that.  But when you need someone to vent to, Darcy just turns everything back to her.  I don't think Darcy is a bad person, but I think this is her MO.

I don't blame Tom for wanting to avoid her.

Darcy is still obsessed with Jesse. I think she was looking forward to seeing him. Especially with Tom next to her. I can just see her sidling up to Tom on the couch and trying to act as if Jesse means nothing to her. The real affect he has on her would be later after the filming when she’d guzzle a bottle of wine and cry on Toms shoulder, begging him to sleep with her cause she can’t bear to be alone.
I liked the way Jesse handled himself. He’s self absorbed and arrogant.  However,  after observing the  black hole of  neediness and emotional immaturity that Darcy is, I’m not putting the blame for all that on just one person.
They shouldn’t be together. It’s toxic. clearly TLC wanted a confrontation. He wouldn’t have been there if they didn’t. I do believe him that Darcy has been in contact. And that he has generally ignored her.  Avery and  Tim were way out of line to jump all over him. I wish he had turned the tables and thrown some of their own crap back. Called out Tim on his “pussy- ness” and Avery on her disrespect to her mother.
