On a side note...I think someone mentioned it a bit ago but on today's travesty of entertainment Dr. Phil's breathing is very noticeable.  It's borderline wheezing.  You could actually hear every breath he took.  

He really needs to get that checked.

I think he’s ill. He’s drinking water on stage for his dry mouth, breathing heavily, repeating himself, forgetting his words, reading off of the TelePrompTer more and more often, walking like a 90 year old man, etc. In addition, his shows are becoming more and more trashy like Jerry Springer, although certainly not as trashy as that! It’s time for him to retire and enjoy some of his billions of dollars. Let Robin and my son Jay sink or swim on their own.

He is 67, overweight and diabetic, that could slow you down.  He is very sharp and witty in a talk show interview.  Memory starts to become a problem and that is why he is relying on the TelePrompTer more.  

This show needs a tweak in format, it has become dull and predictable.

Many times he's not actually saying anything. He starts on a sentence but doesn't finish it.  Either the teleprompter is slow or he's losing track of his thoughts.  He used to  make good points at one time and actually tried to help.  But he's winging it now I think and relying on the shock & awe of an issue that turns out to be nothing in the end.

I think the last time I actually got invested was the weird woman who wanted to leave hubby and 4 kids and go live in Kenya with 22 yr old boyfriend. She was so weird.  The episode really didn't go the way Phil or the rest of the audience thought it would. But most of the time it's predictable and format.  I wonder if she went?

Time to retire and enjoy life, Phil.  Robin could even start eating again.

Dr Frieda Louis Hall (black woman with short gray hair) who we see occasionally is master of the obvious.  No reason for her to be there EVER.   Her subject matter always insults the audience.

OMG people. The Robin shilling just gets worse and worse. At the end of today’s show, Shill walks over to her and asks her why she has a sad face. Then she tries to do her “acting” and says after the holidays are over, she’s sad about no more presents. He pulls his pockets out to show her that he’s broke. She says she’s not sad about not receiving presents but not GIVING presents. Click. Can these two people get any more fake?! They have to be embarassed to do this phony crap all of the time. Or I guess not or they wouldn’t continue to do it. And who writes this shit? I’d hide my face in shame if I had any role at all in this sham. Of course, we can’t even see Robin’s face anymore. She’s a wax figure now.

  Ok, I fast forwarded it and it was..........unclear. Seems like the experts were saying that a lot of the family has been hacked/have unsecured social media. They suggested the whole family get off of all social media (I couldn't do it.)

Yeah, I was on the phone with the program on mute for most of the show, but I unmuted at the end and saw some woman who was patched in to say that the years long harassment was just some kind of long running prank.  Then she said that no one on the show had any real protections on any of their social media and said that it would probably all go away if they just shut down their SM accounts.  I couldn't believe that anyone would go through all that and no one would think to shut off their FB, instagram, and whatever else they had going on.  Those people are way too invested in living online.

Then I got another phone call and when I came back the boyfriend was acting like his life was over because I guess $hill wanted him or his girlfriend to go into rehab.

Then it all ended with the really bad acting so Robin could barely articulate that she wanted to give out night cream to the audience.  Seriously, she sounds like someone who's talking covertly to 911, "I'm being held hostage at Studio 29 on the Paramount Pictures lot.  Send help!  And I'm really sad because the holidays are over and I miss giving out presents.  I just want to make sure the audience gets some of my Revelation Hydra Qwench Moisturizing Night Cream.  It diminishes the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, hydrates skin and firms and tightens sagging skin.  The scary old guy wants me to walk off with him now.  Time to smile inanely and childishly wave.  Bye now!"

I have never been so pissed off by a Dr Phil episode as I am by today's (with the dad who ran off with his daughter's 16-year-old friend). This man is a fucking sexual predator but the way Dr Phil and this IDIOT WIFE are talking about it, they're a typical cheating couple. The wife talking about how jealous she was that her husband was ignoring her for this girl...oh man, my blood is boiling. The entire focus of this interview is on the cheating and not the fact that HE IS A SEXUAL PREDATOR. Absolutely nobody was looking out for this clearly troubled 16-year-old who was vulnerable to adult male attention and was (obviously sleeping) with a man who she called Daddy. This is so fucked up.

I saw the show segment and I had concluded that there must be a financial arrangement but I can't find one.  There has to be a reason she is on as a filler with nothing new.  Maybe just mentioning Pfizer is of a benefit to the company for PR?  What is Dr. Phil up to?  She is a psychiatrist by training so she could say something meaningful about any of his shows.

Me too... so happy my doorbell rang after the 487th “I’m a Mamma Bear, OK?” statement.  I missed the majority of this useless episode.  The entire clan involved looked like they are missing several chromosomes.  I would guess the cumulative IQ of Mamma Bear, her 2 full grown “cubs” and the interloper is hovering around 98.  All 3 of the women must have taken the talk show prep course for attention seeking asshats “Speaking  Louder Than Everyone Else in the Room Makes You More Righter!” What was with the sister’s incessant fake crying and whining about her miscarriage....the one she “didn’t want to talk about publicly”?? I had to turn off that smirking Jilly Juice woman - she has no scientific background but is still gonna sell her salt kraut crap to anyone who asks for it.   She reminds me of this woman I heard on the radio who swore up and down that she was married to Steven Seagal(!).  She had back story about their lives, children, etc.  and no amount of common sense could tell her otherwise.  Delusional, right?   I think Jilly has some voices in her head and she believes what they're telling her, too.  The bad thing is that there are desperate people who want to believe and she's selling her crap to them.

Tomorrow's episode seems like it's going to be another doozy: a woman who quit her job to become a cuddle buddy/escort (warning: it's a two-parter).

There was a statement at the end of the show that said the crazy man just wanted that Jilly Juice. Good thing Shill has such good security in the studio. Who knows if that’s the truth or not. So much of this show is faked and I don’t just mean the results from Robin’s miracle cream. I swear, her face looks more pulled and stretched every day. They really need to do away with that commercial showing her in the animal print top. She actually looked kind of normal there but the contrast is really startling.

Desperation in the chronically ill will drive them to try something, anything, to get rid of the malady.  When traditional medicine fails, these folks will look at anything that promises relief.  I don’t suffer any chronic illnesses, so I can’t understand that thought process.

On the other hand, the charlatans like this one and any of the others that promise miracle cures should immediately be investigated and shut down.
