Yep, I’m ready for another cat fishing story which seems to be the only other kind of show that Shill can do these days.

There's also the "mooching adult children" topic, most of them involving men who are also described as violent (the latest of those coming on next week).

Yes, I'm ready for a crazy in love geriatric sending his/her fortune to Nigeria.  It's been a while.

I'm not bothering with any more out of control daughters, 30 yr old moochers or the like.  Dr. Phil needs a shake up or new formula or something.   I wonder if ratings are still good?

I just don't get why dr Phil didn't ask her , " if being a sugar baby pays so well compare to that 9-5 job , why are you living in a homeless shelter with nowhere else to go ? " she sat there trying to make a point for 2 episodes how stripping and suga babying provides her with what she needs , but can't afford an apartment ?

I think a drinking game is in order for every time she says , " you left me in 6 inches of snow " ... oh dear lord

Dear Dr Phil,

What's with all the "Young, Beautiful and Wild" episodes?  Don't you know any ugly wild kids?  Equal time to all, Dr Phil!  What about "Old, Passable and Tamer than a Lap Dog?"

Where are all the "Young, Handsome and Wild" boys?   No mothers out there with a teen boy who is smoking, drinking, having sex, hanging out with the wrong crowd?  It makes me mad that so much focus is put on females.  It's an outdated double standard - girls are supposed to be basically celibate and nice and good and if they deviate, then they get all kinds of names put on them and "reputations".  Like the sugar baby this week - the word 'prostitute' was thrown around like crazy and with so much venom. Teen females get a lot of flak for their sexuality; boys don't get that stigma.  Teen boys on the show are only spotlighted for anger issues, mental health, being lazy, not going to school - their sex life is hardly ever brought up.   I think Phil's show is guilty of this double standard and he needs to even out the playing field.

My dream show would be a mother who brings in her teen son who is an escort on the gay hook-up site Grindr and see how it's handled.  I apologize for the rant, but so many of these shows demonize females and it bothers me.

Oh dear god! I almost died when she said "six inches of snow"!! That's like saying " you left me on a cloudy day".  I don't think I've ever disliked a Dr. Phil guest as much as this triflin' little bitch! Lol!

Yeah, she’s such a genius at 22 years of age with one child from a baby daddy and another on the way, no education, stripper, prostitute going no where and dragging an innocent, defenseless child (children) with her. Yep, she’s on her way to stardom.

After bragging repeatedly how lucrative her stripping/sugar baby career is and how she supports her child, I kept waiting for Dr. Phil to ask why she is living in a homeless shelter.  Nor did he ask why she probably wasn’t using birth control since she had no home and being pregnant would derail her “career.” If he did ask, I missed it.  It was hard to keep up through her manic ramblings, but of course all this was her parent’s fault for putting her out in the snow.

At the end it said she didn’t go to treatment.  I hope there’s an update, especially on the 2 children. I kind of think there’s more to this story we didn’t hear, but the kids definitely need taken away.

Splenda Baby doesn’t yet understand that CPS will take her daughter and will also take the baby when it is born. She doesn’t know that it is easier to get rid of bed bugs than CPS. They will be in her life for a long time.

There's no gossip like small-town gossip. I'm sure there are people who will go to their graves so certain that this woman murdered her sister. Part of it is wanting to be part of the story with their strong opinions and part of it is the lack of a resolution.  Also, if the reporting was less sordid in the era (as it may have been in a small town in the 1970s) the general public may fill in the blanks on their own.

That woman was a busybody of the worst sort. She wore a “dark” Halloween costume so she must be a murderer. I don’t know anything about this story but I hope they checked out grandpa.

The Halloween costume comment showed her character. I love Phil's facial expression when faced with crackers pot thinking.

It is well known that pimps keep their girls hooked on drugs to keep them from wandering away.  It sure seemed to me, Splenda baby was on something speedy like coke, crack or Adderall/Ritalin etc.  I think Phil knew that but bringing it up would only serve to push her further away.  Timing is everything.

I am confident that her daughter will end up in good hands (parents for now) but the unborn child is in trouble.

The episode was interrupted by YouTube killing. Did Splenda baby accept the help?

OMG, this AJ asshole has one skill - crying on cue when someone mentions his dead grandmother.

He doesn't need to be anywhere near his son and the rest of the family would be better off cutting him out of their lives forever.  He'll either end up on the street or in prison, but what are you going to do?  AJ has no intention of changing, he revels in his behavior, he enjoys it and gets off on making people afraid of him.  I think he also keeps his kid around only to use the child as a pawn to get his way.

Yeah, AJ will milk his random witnessing of grandma's assault scene for as long as his idiot mother goes along with it. And poor Archer; what must AJ's wife have been like if AJ got custody? But since we'll never find out, who cares, I guess.

Yeah that's for sure. Phil doesn't do much in the way of "where are they now". He just shuffles them to Dr. Lawless or some "ranch" and we never hear about those people again.

Four children with four different women?  Is that what he said?

Yes. That's what he said and I was extremely disappointed that Phil didn't ask him if he pays child support for all of his kids and if he participates in their lives like a true father should. But I guess Phil decided those questions weren't relevant.

The woman whose sister, Reesa Trexler, was murdered - their hometown newspaper did some stories about the case and in the comments the "best friend" Beth commented on one of the articles saying she and the other witch, Laura, still believe Jodie killed Reesa and that Laura only apologized to Jodie because she was "scared and intimidated." Totally vile. I am glad so many other people are posting the opinion that Beth and Laura are just horrible, horrible, people.

https://www.salisburypost.com/2018/04/10/dr-phil-show-exonerates-jodie-trexler-laird-through-polygraph-exam-in-the-34-year-old-unsolved-murder-of-her-sister-reesa-trexler/

The idea that Jodie killed Reesa is so ridiculous. The perpetrator would be covered in blood. Did Jodie dispose of her blood stained clothing? Where? Did she shower and clean up? Was their blood found in the drain of her bathtub or anywhere else in her house or between the two houses? Would a 13-year-old be that sophisticated? Was a 15-year-old just walking around naked in her grandparents' house? Would her 13-year-old sister force her to strip at knife point? The fact that semen was found inside the girl and Laura's groan worthy response that she had no idea what Reesa had been up to earlier in the day. Are we to believe that a 15-year-old girl wouldn't have fought back if her attacker was her little sister? The attacker stabbed Reesa 18 times with so much force that the knife blade broke off inside her body and we are to believe that this person left with no cuts on their hands? Ridiculous.

I also don't believe the grandfather had anything to do with it and the profiling that suggests this was a young man who did this would be my best guess. I would not say that it would be someone Reesa did not know. I wonder about the two boys that were at their house earlier and especially how Jodie said one of them in particular had been a suspect but didn't say why. I also wonder about the boyfriend that Reesa had recently broken up with. I hope the semen sample has been preserved and can be DNA tested. Laura is apparently the daughter of the guy who was police chief in Salisbury at the time of Reesa's murder and she seems to fancy herself a detective but it seems like neither her or her dad are/were very good at it. This story was so infuriating and could have very easily been an interesting 2-part episode. Maybe one of the Cold Case shows will do an investigation.

The episode for today where I'm at is "the woman who adopted me just stole my baby". The episode TresGatos is referencing sounds much more interesting! I don't think I can get through a "bitch stole my baby episode". I'll just watch I.D. channel instead!

Re: Laura on the show with the woman who’s sister was murdered 34 years ago. I just loved how Shill played that woman. Her observations and accusations were so absurd. At least she had the decency to stand up after the results of the polygraph were revealed to offer an apology to the sister. If she was sincere, she’d have said that she’d go back home with a tape of the show and have a town meeting to show this to everyone. Why the sister stayed in that town for 34 years after the murder is just beyond me. I’d have gotten as far away from there as possible. As far as today’s show, that 24 year old girl who wanted her child back needs a trip to OnStar or one of those other places because she’s just delusional. No matter how Shill tried to reason with her and show her the fallacy of her thinking, she just kept repeating the same old things. She’s not ever going to get that kid back because she really doesn’t want to. She just wants to punish her parents. Loser.

I saw part of yesterday's show with the 23 year old who said her mother 'stole' her son.  She had the baby for a year, and I didn't get how the grandmother and step grandfather saw the child was in jeopardy.  He had a severely infected ear, diaper rash, eczema, skin rash, diarrhea, vomiting.  They were like that's enough and got guardianship of the child.

Apparently, the 23 year old was adopted and kept saying she wants my son because she's jealous/couldn't have her own kids.  She expected her mother to give her money so she could take them to court (grandparents) to get her son back.  Phil was just incredulous.  She didn't see where that was wrong.  For his help, he offered doctors on demand, maybe something else, but damn the girl just needed to grow up.  She'd had 6 jobs within a year or so, lived 3 hours away (blamed mother for that - I can't get there, I don't have a car), hadn't seen her son this year at all.  I think she'd been spoiled and enabled forever, and her mother finally said enough is enough and stopped the gravy train.

I went to Phil's facebook page, and there were so many people saying the grandmother just needed to give the child back to the mother.  Rich people always take advantage of poor folks.  Say what?  And you don't need a car to get around town.  True, but they lived somewhere in Indiana.  Not every town has bus service.  I tried to search to find out where they lived because I'm originally from Indiana.  I haven't found a thing thus far.  But anyhow, you do need a steady job, ability to parent (Phil had an entire list of what was required on the screen) and all this spoiled child said was well I need to figure out child care or I need money for child care.  On facebook, people were saying how expensive child care was, but if she was mature, she would have tried to get some sort of assistance or look into any local programs to help.  Nope, she actually said at one point, something to the effect of what she needed (maybe she was sort of asking Phil) money for child care.  He just shook his head, but he really didn't offer much to help her.

She won't be getting that child back anytime soon.  And the grandparents said multiple times, they took him in temporarily or what they hoped would be temporarily.  Hells bells, I bet they did.  They don't need to be raising her child.  That's a huge job.  They looked like they were of retirement age, so I'm sure they wanted to enjoy their retirement.  Entitled brat is what I wanted to yell at her.  She needed a huge wake up call, but it's not going to happen.    The grandfather said everything to her was always someone else's fault, never took any responsibility.

I was just surprised he didn't offer some of Robin's skin care to all.  The end of the show is almost just an infomercial for affiliated Phil products.  Or would it be Phamily products?

The mother whose  child Is looked after grandparents, why didn't Phil ask about the father?  Why isn't the father paying for his child.  Maybe then she could afford childcare.

I hope the woman can get her baby back and the grandparents can enjoy retirement. However, she has made zero progress toward that happening other than “It’s my child! Give him back!”  So immature.

Moving 3 hours away with no car?  How does she get to work? I doubt there’s public transportation convenient to her situation in that area. And like was said, why was child support from the father not mentioned?

This was such a strange episode—that girl’s behavior as she was telling her story was bizarre.  She seemed to be so cheerful and smiling while she was talking about the man who was supposedly involved somehow in the death of Natalee Holloway who then went on to ATTACK HER and in the process, she KILLS him.  How is that a happy story?  It was just so odd.

Sorry I didn't notice this post by SEMISPHERE221 when it was originally posted.   I hope you have found some online or local resources to help you. I'm sure finding a good therapist/psychologist is like trying to find a good mechanic or attorney and I don't mean that in a disrespectful way. I've had to search for all 3 in my life  (good therapists, honest car mechanics and attorneys) and it's a daunting task.  You might be better off NOT getting accepted to be on dr. Phil. It's all about TV network ratings so appearing on his show might have been more detrimental to you than finding another path to  healing.

I hope you have found some type of support system Semisphere221. ❤

Yes!! I went to the facebook page and couldn't believe everyones comments about how the parents should just give the kid back to the mother. Believe me, I get how expensive child care is.. but the truth of the matter is.. if not having a car now is stopping u from seeing your kid , then not having a car is going to stop you from taking the kid to doctors appointments, etc. And if you can't afford child care, that is a huge problem. Also, she wanted her parents to pay her lawyer fees even though they were the ones taking her to court? That sounds so ridiculous. but apparently she deserves the child because she screams "give me my child back" every 2 seconds..

That girl talking about killing the Natalee Holloway guy seemed like a lifetime movie serial killer. She had this smirk on her face the entire time and if you've watched that youtube video of her talking to her friend Gabe while he was filming her, it's like watching the dumbest person alive speaking. I know that everyone handles grief and traumatic events differently, but the girl killed a guy who attacked her 5 days before , still hung around him after he talked about burning and disposing Natalee's body. Even if he was lying which i don't think he was, if anyone in my life made up that story, i'd make sure to not just get a restraining order against him but i'd probably move to another town because that's extremely creepy. And how did she not call the police? I don't know. I know a neighbor witnessed what happened with the attack but something is very wrong with that girl.

Because he says the same lines every episode. And how could he have blamed yesterday's parents for their adult daughter abandoning her kids and choosing abusive guys over them? They were there clearly because they cared about getting her help, and they seemed like genuine people.. yet because the woman's mother struggled when she was younger, it's all her fault that her daughter turned out the way she did? Well, she grew up, overcame the problems and changed her ways.. so now it's the daughters turn to do that. God, I am so sick of Dr. Phil blaming everything wrong with someone on their parents, especially when the person is a grown adult.

I just tuned in and Phil has a couple on where the woman clearly told the guy, not interested in seeing you until you are divorced.  He said he understood that, then lied to her saying his divorce was final.  They ended up living together for 18 months (not sure if he'd filed for divorce and it was pending), then loser tells the woman oh gee, I'm not really divorced.  He then tries to throw him under the bus by saying well she did this or that.........totally not owning up the fact that he purposely deceived her for 18 months.  Then Phil says, well because he's a decent dad (plus other crap he's observed) loser seems like a good guy, so I'd give him another chance.  Say what?  This guy has lied to you about something you clearly said was a deal breaker for 18 months.  He never owned up to a damned thing, but it's ok because he seems like a good guy?  WTF.  Honey, kick that loser's ass to the curb.

I couldn't watch today's show. I find these shows about women who have lost weight and are with men who criticize their bodies to be so exploitative. If a women or man is self conscious about their body, having them show their bodies to the audience is just a terrible thing to do. I assume they are pressured or feel pressured to do it in order to get free surgical intervention. I don't know. There are so many things the giant headed, tiny eyed shill monster does that are despicable, but this is one of the worst. I blame myself for watching this show. I call it hate watching. I do it with other despicable people and show so I can come here and complain. I feel as responsible for him and his scary wife as Oprah.  There is nothing new to see in these shows. If he says he is a court mandated reporter or is the most open minded , non-judgmental person in the world one more time....I cant.  He gives terrible advice. I have never seen him treat one person, looks like he should be called Referral Phil to me.
