I do not think we are giving Jackson enough credit you guys. He cuts up those watermelons all by himself. This is likely the first time he's ever had to do it because doesn't his mommy do it for him usually? He's a big boy now!

Also should he be eating all that watermelon? Don't gastro-intestinal issues usually crop up when one eats massive quantities of fruit? Maybe not watermelon. I'm not a huge fruit fan so I'm not sure. I do not want to think about Jackson's intestinal tract.

I desperately want someone to take some of his watermelon, sit in front of him to eat it, decide they don't like it, and throw it out! (I do not condone wasting food unless it's a small amount and it is for my entertainment.) Want to see Jackson go all Hulk Smash!

Cliff just told Jack that he isn't voting to keep him.

Damn it, Cliff! Is one simple yet amazing blindside too much to ask for?

Now watch Christie and Tommy flip.  I don't think it will help them, though.

Jack says he wants to trust Kat and that he knows Jess is special to her, also that Jackson and Holly are special to her.  He's telling her that he would love to move forward with Kat in this game.  Now he's talking about Kat being the mole.  Kat wants to know how that's relevant to what's going on now.  He says he doesn't want Jess to know about it because he wants to be able to move forward in the game with Kat with Kat still having Jess's trust.

Jack:  "I don't want him (Jackson) to blow up your game.  I want to move forward being a shield for you in this game."  This is laughable.  I wish she would just laugh in his face.

Jack:  "I just gave you the entire game on a platter."  He's so ridiculous.

Kat keeps asking Jack if he's sure that Cliff isn't on his side.  She says she could have sworn that Cliff was voting for Jack to stay.  He's trying to say that nobody would be on a totem pole in this new alliance and that he'd be the first one out.

I never understand how everyone can keep a straight face in scenarios like this one with Jack and Kat. I admire it a little, because I know I wouldn't be able to control my reactions at something so ludicrous.

More talk of "I wanted you to be 7 but Jackson said no."

Jack says that if Kat says she'll keep Jack, Nick will join in voting out Jackson and then it won't be a tie vote.  Jack says he's not offering her weeks, he's offering her an alliance.

Jack:  "If you want, I can bring Nick in here right now."  Kat says she needs to think about it.  She says she didn't realize her vote counted for so much this week.  She says she's a little nervous.

Jack:  "I want to work with you and I want to protect you."

Kat:  "Can I talk to Jess about it?"

Jack:  "I wouldn't."  Jack says he wouldn't want Jess to be in a position where she's going to feel left out.  He says Kat is more than welcome to tell Jess how she's voting.

Granted I'm not able to watch this right now, but how magnanimous of Jack to give Kat permission to talk about her vote with Jess. *eyeroll*

I was really hoping for a split vote and an epic blindside.

I remember BB doing similar for Frankie, bringing him "his" fish because he's a pescatarian, and other HG's getting mad because their requests for food were ignored.

One thing that COULD be happening BTS is that Snackson's mom is ordering food for him on Seamless? If she's paying for the watermelon deliveries I could see why he looks for them every night.

Who is Patton Oswalt?

Award-winning stand-up comedian and actor. Perhaps still best known for being a supporting cast member on King of Queens for years (it's obviously far from the top of his career, critically, but it was a really popular show that ran for years and still airs in syndication, ya know?). He is currently the narrator on The Goldbergs.

Cliff DOES look like him that bit earlier, doesn't he?

Christie is telling Cliff that after noms Holly was telling Christie to use her power to put Cliff up.  She says that Jackson and Holly aren't trustworthy.

Jack is telling Tommy that Nick is burying him all over the place.

Watching Kat bob and weave through the whole conversation was torture. You could practically hear her scream inside her head "get me outta here!"

Thanks, Brian Cronin. I've heard of (and seen commercials for) King of Queens but I've never seen an episode of it. And I've only barely heard of The Goldbergs.

No, I don't watch much TV, so yes, I pay too much for cable. I need to do something about that.

Analyse:  "I'm so mad I'm shaking.  I can't do my makeup."  Jack told Analyse and Tommy that Nick has been playing him since day 1.  Tommy said that Nick's been playing both sides.  Jack said everyone's playing both sides.  Jack:  "I'm leaving because I don't fucking play both sides.  Sorry.  This is a fucking game of worms.  It's fucking stupid.  Bunch of liars and fucking cheats."  Then he stood up and walked off all mad.

Jack is blaming him getting booted because he stayed loyal to one side.   Jack: "Man, I'm stupid.  I might be the dumbest player to ever have played this game."  Maybe Jack's alien friend was on to something when he made Jack's tattoo say, "My name is Stupid"

From Joker’s:

Thu 1:58 PM PT Christie.crying that there is all this bad energy. Asks why Kat is so Happy?

Does anybody else find this as (unintentionally?) hilarious as I do?

Christie (crying): Why is all this bad energy surrounding us!?!?

Anybody else:  What do you mean, “bad energy”?

Christie (crying even louder): KAT’S HAPPY!!!

😂😂😂

It really is interesting how the "energy" shifts. Kat, Holly, Jess, Nicole are practically giddy. Just for fun I am now pulling for Tommy or Sis or Christie to win HOH. I'd rather see power go back and forth vs. either side too cocky.

It is crazy how quickly people adjust to being in power, right? It seems like everyone goes on a power trip, no matter what.

Only if Production can guarantee Jack’s feet going THROUGH the table before he makes it across. I mean, Cody barely made it across the table without it giving way - and Jack has to outweigh Cody by some 40+ lbs at least....  😄

I don't remember it almost giving way. I will have to google to verify. Also, Jack is way taller he’d probably hit the lights.

Christie was contemplating to Analyse who she'd put up if she wins HOH.  She asked Analyse what Analyse would do.  Analyse said, "I'd go after fucking Cliff and Kat."

Analyse says Cliff is a fucking pussy.  Rage on, Analyse, rage on.

So Jack said to Jackson that his biggest regret is betraying his trust. And Jackson said it blew up everyone's game. Two questions:

1) Didn't Jackson betray Holly by telling Jack about Holly and Kat?

2) Did all that happen before or after both Jack and Jackson were on the block?

Will Jack get booed tonight?

Unfortunately the studio audience is made up of fan-sheep that are told when to applaud and obediently follow orders and/or behind the scenes workers that are thrown out to fill in as the audience and applaud everything.

I know production wasn't happy about Jack though so maybe they won't light up the "applaud" sign for him since it would make for good TV and get Grodner a little off the hook if people didn't worship Jack when he exits.  (Well I can hope and dream that anyway).

They are NOT blind to them.  Do you not get this is a game.  You use other people to get you to the end.

Don't worry about it.  I never heard of the guy either and I never saw either show nor intend to do so.

Eh, from what I've read here the outsiders aren't running around bullying people and rubbing Jack's nose in it.  They just seem happy that they FINALLY have a few days without being bullied themselves or being on the block.

You know, their first days of real happiness since coming into the House.  Don't think that is a power trip.  More of a "I forgot what it was like to be happy and now I remember" trip.

Kat has a very similar personality to BB8's Jen. Ditzy, sort of self-centered, but not malicious. It's weird how in this house she's generally well-liked while Jen was treated as the house cockroach.

And they both just roll with whatever comes their way, not getting caught up in their ego if/when they have to change gears (Jack).  I think if Dick hadn't demonized Jen, she wouldn't have been the house cockroach.

Yeah, it felt like every time I turned on the feeds this week, the "Outsiders" were roasting Tommy/Christie/Analyse/Jack. Which is fine! There are lines, just like in real life, but everyone talks about everyone else and, for the most part, I don't think either side is evil for doing it. We do it! Nicole complained that they left her out, which, you know, is what happens when an alliance is in power. It's what's happening now - they're the cats and Jack's been their mouse. The, "We're the good guys!" gets tiring, but they've all done it (although Christie and her energies and Universes are another level, but a level I get giggles out of).

The only thing that exhausts me is that every season we have to decide who is a worse person for saying this about who, or who deserves it or who doesn't. Who is morally corrupt for lying and manipulating and playing a game.

And I have the HGs I like and dislike, but for the most part I don't think HGs in Big Brother are genuinely terrible, awful people. What they do in the House seems to get taken so much more personally by the viewers than the actual HGs, who seem end up on mostly good terms once the season ends.

I know Jen says she never wants to do it again but I wonder how she would have fared on a different season. I have a feeling the new generation of BB players would really like her. Back then I remember that they were shocked and offended that she was recruited. Nowadays almost all of them are recruited.

Anyway one lovely little follow-up for Jen: she attended Daniele's wedding to Dominic. So she's a way more forgiving person than me.

Okay, we can work with this... adjusting the mental visual forecast... and... ACTION!

Foreground: tight closeup shot of JACK and JACKSON in the Block chairs as...

CHENBOT: By a vote of 5 to 3... Jack, you are evicted from the Big Brother House.

JACK jumps up and takes an initial striding step to cross the coffee table a la Cody.  As JACK steps up onto the table, unfortunately, his head makes sharp contact with one of the lower-hanging light riggings over the LR setting.  JACK is knocked immediately unconscious and falls backward onto the LR coffee table. The other HouseGuests, still in their original seated positions, gawk at JACK’s prone form on the table in front of them.

JACKSON (reaching forward and giving JACK’s shoulder a little shake): Uhhh, duuuude...?

CHENBOT (off-camera, to Production staff): Well, you guys want to go in and get him out?

<indistinct muttering heard>

Dammit, I don’t care - just GET HIM THE HELL OUTTA THERE!!!

<microphone adjustment sounds>

Uhhh... all HouseGuests please report to the HoH Room.

ALL HOUSEGUESTS (as a chorus): IT’S LOCKED!!!

CHENBOT: Oh, for... We’ll be right back....

(Cue THEME MUSIC)

(fade to black)
