BEST MINI TOPIC EVER!!!  I saw the title and immediately thought, "Oh, I hope they're actually talking about having sex with cartoons and it's not a misleading joke title."

I remember having a whole conversation about sexy cartoon characters with my friends back in college and it was all going fine as we were talking about, like, Li Shang from Mulan, but then once I brought up Robin Hood (the Disney version) my friends were all like, "Um...he's not human.  He's a fox."  To which I could only reply, "Yeah, a sexy fox."  I'm not sure they ever looked at me the same way again.

I thought about my response to this because the character I'm thinking about has had all sorts of hate heaped on her. I don't hate her, I'm just very indifferent and wish for something/-one more dynamic.

Trade Laurel Lance from Arrow for either a real canary of whatever color or Quick Draw McGraw (Baba Louie optional.) ( We get a gender switch and she is a horse, for those not up on old Hanna-Barbera cartoons. A horse that does fight crime, so still like regular Laurel.)

Heh. I don't know if this topic was inspired by Eddie Redmayne's and Anna Kendrick's confessions on a recent Graham Norton show, but you folks are in good company, in your handbasket.

Edit: Ack, didn't see that helent linked to the same thing. Probably because I was BLINDED BY LUST (for an Archer character, but not the one you think. No, not that one either. Or that one).

By the way, I'd watch Lisin's Banner/Stark STEM show.  The Marvelverse has tons of science nerds that could drop by.

"Bruce and Tony do science/ what's in the lab today?" (?)

My husband just made the suggestion that for the comic relief or the Bruce and Tony do Science there could be an act break where they go upstairs (he decided this all takes place in Tony's lab in Avenger's Tower) and check in on Steve Rogers who's in the lounge catching up on pop-culture and he gives his reviews of things from The List from Captain America Winter Solider. Apparently we just want to watch a bunch of superheroes being not super. I'm ok with that.

And smrou, you are not alone in lusting for foxy Robin Hood: http://jezebel.com/one-of-the-best-things-about-jezebel-is-the-fact-that-t-1674053019

I am thrilled to know that Anna Kendrick agrees with me!  Clearly we should be best friends and hang out all the time.  (Also, Eddie Redmayne's reaction when Bradley Wiggin mentions Cheetara is the greatest part of that all-around-great video.)

During our Friends rewatch, we're finding it hard to believe that Jennifer Aniston is the one with the big movie career. I guess she's....fine? But since she and Ross were always the Pierces of this show for me, on rewatch I'm even more puzzled by the trajectory her career took (even if her movie roles were mostly dumb rom coms).

Myself, I figured that Lisa Kudrow was the one due to hit it big. I remember she had a couple of well-received indy movies out by the time Friends ended (and that's not even counting Romy and Michelle's High School Reunion), and I was sure she would be the big breakout movie star.

For the GG episode, wasn't one of the reasons Emily and Richard initially took Rory in was because she stole that boat, and they thought their connections could lessen her punishment? I feel like was when I started to lose interest in the show because Rory was just becoming insufferable. On the other hand, I did quite like that "It's probably in Fiji by now," line.

Also, I'm extremely disappointed to hear that Scott Patterson kind of sucks! I really liked Luke, and was very pro he and Lorelai.

Is the PTDP in effect? If so, is it "old [adjective] mouth"?

Good call with The Crazy Ones. Goes to show how much of a hack David E. Kelley has become, when he can't make a show work with a cast like that.

My pick would have to be The Millers. They had Will Arnett (one of my favourite comedic actors), Margo Martindale (a friggin' Emmy winner!), Beau Bridges (who's rarely had a performance I didn't like), Jayma Mayes (who I've had a mild crush on since the first season of Heroes), and JB Smoove (who can be pretty darn funny), but I couldn't even make it past the pilot.

Christmas already has tons of special episodes, specials and events. Maybe do April Fool's Day/Mardi Gras/Labor Day? Warmer weather can lead to equal-opportunity skimpy wardrobes...  Still, these might work at almost any part of the year.

*Sherlock/Elementary: Something weird, but not exactly murder-y has gone down at Coney Island. Sherlock and Joan ride on the Ferris wheel to ponder/ look at the crime scene. In London, something unusual, but not exactly murder-y has happened at The Eye. In order to better observe and rule out options, Sherlock and John take a spin. Both wheels are stuck for a time, when the duos come back to the ground, they aren't in their cities!

*Justified/Luther: Ellstin Limehouse is shot, but not killed. His English relative, DCI John Luther, comes over to see if he can help his cousin. Raylan, not thrilled to be Givens'd, comes to work and grudgingly respect the inspector. Their prey? A one-armed man with spooky light blue eyes.

*Mike & Molly/New Girl: M&M splurge and book a loft on airb&b- esque site, but the bookers have overbooked the actual loft and look outside their offices and use the building across the way's address. Mike & Molly end up knocking on the door to the New Girl gang's loft! Hijinx ensue! (Mike, Nick and Molly being Chicagoans, find common ground, at least.)

So hard to choose. I can think of 3 from just this season:

1st, Madam Secretary. I lasted 3 episodes, and they were wasting BeBe Neuwirth and Tim Daly and so many other good people.

2nd, Forever. So disappointing, despite a few people I really enjoy from other shows I watched (Numb3rs, L&O Mothership, Bones).

3rd, State of Affairs - I dislike Heigl, but it's a shame to see Alfre Woodard trapped on that show. Should be canceled though, so let's give her something better!

But finally, Waster (Wasted Waster?) of the Decade goes to Aaron Sorkin, for torpedoing the brilliant cast of Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip and then trapping all those good folks on The Newsroom.
