It's rather ironic when Meghan gets involved in the "likable/unlikable" discussion considering that she is one of the most unlikable panel members there ever was.

And she even said that something along the lines of Hillary would have been more likable if she had been aggressive and told Trump to back away from her during the debates, because she (MM) is aggressive all the time.   She pretty much proved Whoopie's/Joy's point.  LOL

I’m in love with Kamala. I don’t know much about her except what I’ve seen in hearings and today. It may be enough for me. ❤️  She’s got my vote.

I really like her too- I could vote for her!!

Me watching RBM sit there like a deer in headlights when Senator Harris gave an answer on AOC that didn't involve dragging her nor her ideas.

RBM just knew she was going to get something that would allow her to go on and on about the left for weeks.

And what an answer KH gave!  Production should replay the audio everytime MM brings up 'the socialist wing of the Democratic party'!

It occurs to me that MM perhaps is realizing there is not one powerful woman in the GOP Congress. Plus, I LOL because she retweets other's ideas and rarely posts her own opinions, if ever. You know, being a political pundit or political commentator.

And she’s been in politics her whole life...even in the womb. Ugh!

Suppose that Meghan might be considered fun, interesting and happy in her life?   If she is, it seems she'd be able to believe Joy's description of the real Hillary Clinton.

Billy Crystal hosted 8 times. And Bob Hope, 18.

...and I'd take either one of them several more times.  I meant FOUR is my limit for Ms. Goldberg.

Joy was probably biting her lip hard to not say to Meghan… "that is why you are so unlikable!"...LOL

It was hard to follow what Whoopi's was getting at but it sounded like she was saying there have been multiple (>2) Oscar hosts in the same year/event.  There have been pairs, like Steve Martin & Alec Baldwin, but not 3 or more cohosts that I recall.  It would spread the blame, but at this late date would be hard to coordinate.  How about no host, just the presenters and the announcer guy.

I kind of remember one year when they had four hosts, and I believe one of them showed up late due to traffic.  Maybe Clint Eastwood.  Was it the same year as David Niven and the Streaker?

But it appears Whoopi was right about multiple hosts being used to host the Oscars.  Including 33 hosts one year.  This is the stuff she knows, as she hosted four times.

Lord knows I thought about the pot calling the kettle black when Meghan uttered those words.

I would think most be in the public eye, politicians, celebs, have a public persona and a private persona.  Hell I think all people are like that.  I don't act radically different in public than I do in private but there are differences.

When Meghan said she liked Michelle Bachmann (there is a horror from the past) more when she acted aggressively Joy pointed out her poll numbers went down.  I don't for one second believe Meghan would have liked Hillary if she had been more "aggressive".

Meghan was polite and friendly to Senator Harris  yesterday.  Let's see how quickly she changes her tune if Harris announces her candidacy.

Whoop's ratty gray scarf is back.

Here we go again with the AOC bashing.

And the Obama whataboutism.

Ah, new year, new update to the MM drinking game. Chug everytime she mentions AOC.

Every day she just comes out of the shoot unpleasant and pissy about everything.

I haven’t watched in a while now(just coming here to see you all’s amazing comments 😁), so I’m relying on you all to let me know how Megan “megsplains” Trump’s self serving statement last night. I’m guessing a whole lot of “but Obama/immigration crisis/if Dems wanna win/his base” crap.

Megan is obsessed with Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez and her shot at Steve Schmidt was lame.

The usual Obama, Obama, Obama! was in full force defending the indefensible separation of children from their parents at the border.

Her rant was filled with inaccuracies, falsehoods and for the last time Megan, the Democrats do not need your advice on how to win 2020.

And certainly not HER advice.

Oh, for FUCK'S SAKE! Someone needs to play that clip of hers when she was on Real Time, and telling Begala and Bill to stop saying that the recessions "was started under Bush" because, well, he was no longer president, Obama was. But then she'd probably get all splotchy if she sees how she was SCHOOLED by Begala, who exposed her UTTER IGNORANCE.

And Bill has to feign protecting her from big mean Begala, because she looked like she was going to cry when he turned her potshot at him right back around on her!!  I loved it

Dear Meghan, An army does not contact their enemies' generals to ask how to win the war.   Democrats know better than to take your laughable advice.  (I'm not in the game, so I can school her.)

She's like the kid who sits at the dinner table while the adults discuss important matters.  Then she trots off to school and pretends to be an expert...but missed most of the details.

They're politicians, they know what they're doing, they have people around them who know what they're doing - you don't, Meghan. Don't worry about the democrats, they'll be fine without your unsolicited advice.

First of all why would any Democrat running for office listen to Meghan?  She plays for the other team.  She has a pretty big fucking ego if she thinks any politician Democrat or Republican would ever seek out her advice.

It seems to me, and please correct me if I am wrong,  but isn't Meghan a family member of a failed presidential candidate?

I’m not sure that they are aware that he lost.

I’m not aware of any Republican campaigns out to recruit her either

The dour Mrs. Domenech generally screeches over any attempt to go to an ad when she's wound up, but, today she was desperately trying to cut the Paul Manafort segment.

I have no clue what Whoopie was trying to read.

Her entire career of what?  Living off her family's name?  Just once I would like for her to acknowledge she would not be where she is without her last name.  The only reason anyone has ever asked her opinion on anything political is because she is the daughter of a politician.

Can you imagine Meghan's eye-rolls and apoplexy if someone mentions Jedidiah's "entire career" and compaares it favorably with Ms. McCain's?  Don't they have similar track records, yet Meghan considers herself one of the nation's top pundints, political commentators/strategists, campaign managers, etc.?

I believe Meghan is delusional enough to think she more of a political pundint than Nicolle Wallace.

And while I'm thinking about it so does Meghan identify herself as pundint or strategist now?  First she is analyzing politicians and now she is wanting to strategize for them.

Abby isn't that much older than me, but she makes me feel old especially when she asked what a mortar and pestle is. I saw that and thought, "Wow I feel old, how do people not know what that is." Then I looked up her age and found that she was older than me lol. That made me laugh.

Speaking of which, I thought Abby was great in the first conversation today. Abby, Joy and Sunny have a comfortable vibe with one another where they can state their views and still joke with one another. Whoopi and Meghan......they can get better at it.

Omg. This is the PERFECT description of Meghan's "political career" and "expertise". It also explains why she's so thrown when people don't conform to stereotypes, particularly political stereotypes (What? You mean people have layers? And their political party may have no bearing on their home decor? Crazy!).

That made me roll my eyes so hard, but then I decided to cut her some slack because of pregnancy brain.

I heard Meghan's disdain for Steve Schmidt.  So she dislikes him why exactly? Because he admitted Palin was a horrific choice for VP?  Only in politics do you get chastised for telling the truth.

I was wondering that too. I know Nicole Wallace and Steve or (was it John Heilmann? )both talked about not being invited to the funeral. They told the truth. How reckless 🙄.I would guess it was a loyalty thing, in some twisted way. Remember MM said the other day her father could kill someone and she still defend him. Great moral compass there.
