Everyone knows Ensley does not have Down syndrome. Posts suggesting that she does will be removed and warnings issued. Posts such as these leave the impression that an arguably unflattering picture could somehow be construed as a child being disabled is considered ableist and is against the rules of the board.

Rewatching Nathan anf Jenelle's little sit down where she tried to negotiate visitation with dropping her assault charges. During that whole exchange, even when she started crying for pity, I don't think I ever heard her apologize. I really shouldn't be surprised, but I guess I am. She really is a sociopath.

I'm 4'11"-- so true! I've had people say, "whoa, you lost a ton of weight, what have you been doing?" And all I did was eat lightly for a couple days. Unfortunately goes the other way too...two big meals and I look like I've gained 8 pounds.

I can only imagine what it would take to disturb Dr. Dipshit. While I wouldn't wish abuse on anyone, if it is abuse, I really hope the target was Jenelle, not one of her kids.

If you want to spend more money, you can research individual cases further but most agencies don't bother.

 

So, as we sit here today saddened that she wasn't held accountable AGAIN, we can turn that frown upside down knowing that any prospective employer is going to get a page showing 16 arrests for multiple drug, breaking and entering, trespassing, violating no contact order and assault charges. And, they won't give her the time of day to attempt to explain any of it away :)

Oh, i fully agree. the last person you'd want as a surgical tech is someone with a drug abuse background.  Can you imagine?

Knowing how ass backwards his opinions and advice always are, I'll wager a guess it was something sensible Barb did, that they decided victimized Jenelle.

In that picture, Jenelle sort of LOOKS like she's holding Kaiser, but she really isn't.  His leg is twisted sort of back, he doesn't look comfortable or cuddled, and all she cares about is the picture. She's just the most uncaring Mom I've ever seen, and every single picture confirms that.

Someone needs to take Kaiser outside to play, and fix him some nutritious foods.  And someone needs to take all three of these children far, far away from the adults who begat them.

It looks like she has stopped working out and now has mom arms.  Wouldn't be surprised if Uncle Dave doesn't want her at the gym where she could talk to other men ("You're with me now!"). 

I bet Jenelle is nicer to his kid than she is any of her children.

I was wondering about that;  it sounds like his kid, and his sister & her kid(s?) are around a lot. She doesn't seem like the "family time" type, I wonder what the hell that's like!

One theory on Jenelle and "family time" - maybe she's trying to recreate a childhood she never had? But she's so fucked up and unhealthy that instead she's making it an even worse one for her kids? Nah...that would have to mean she actually cared underneath and sociopath, so no. She's just doing what she thinks she's supposed to. She also knows it looks good for her "fans/haters" etc. She likes the power over others her kids have gotten her and the money only in reality.

I want a body language expert to examine pictures of her, with her kids and with her various soul mates and tell us what is revealed.

IMO it's almost guaranteed.  Jenelle does keep trying to recreate the "perfect family", although Lord knows she's one of the most ill-equipped "mothers" I've ever seen.

Debating if Jenelle could be pregnant, of course it's always a possibility. But I'm also stuck on how long can she (and the girls like her) stand to keep popping out babies to keep a man? Jenelle is 24, right? She's got another 10 years of fertility, easily. If she keeps with a 3ish year pattern, that could mean she could wind up with 5-6 kids. Also, the dating pool will go way down with each kid she has.

I think that Jenelle knows that more babies puts her dating market value down, especially if she does keep custody of the Roll.  When it was jut Jace she was essentially a single pringle since she wasn't actually living with any children.  If she has two kids living with her (the Roll and potentially Dave's rugrat) not even wannabe D listers like Dave and Javi are going to be interested.  

That said, maybe I'm giving Jenelle too much credit and she will just keep popping them out for years to come...one can only hope not!

I don't think having more children will inhibit Jenelle from attracting the type of "men" (and I use that term loosely) that she wants. As long as she is offering drugs and free sex the scum of the scum will always be around. I do worry that any subsequent children she has will be neglected while she is "having fun" or be subject to abuse at the hands of these guys-that really worries me. I know there are many loving stepdads out there, stepping up and providing for children out of kindness rather than obligation, but all the stories of abuse you hear that start with, "my Mom's boyfriend/husband".....I shudder. 

 

 I could see her having 4-5 more children without issue and most of them ending up with paternal grandparents/the system. One of these days her criminal behavior will check up with her and doing time is a real possibility. Janelle will look up at 45 without custody of any of her children and wonder why those "ungrateful brats" don't understand all she gave up to "raise" them.

Unfortunately I think Jenelle will keep reproducing until she has a daughter. I remember when she was pregnant with Kaiser Nathan really wanted a boy and she really wanted a girl. I have a family member like Jenelle (multiple kids with multiple dads; addiction/personality disorder) who had several sons and one daughter. The different sets of paternal grandparents raised the boys and the girl is the only one she really took any interest in raising (although she did farm her out as often as possible).

I remember wondering why Jenelle wanted a girl so much, aside from the obvious "she already has a son." I think a lot of it has to do with her not having a great relationship with her mother, and wanting another shot at the mother-daughter bond. Partially just to rub it in Barb's face, and try to make it seem like if she can have a good relationship with a daughter, then she's not the problem in her relationship with Barb. Unfortunately, when I imagine Jenelle with a daughtern, all I can see is the continuation of a cycle of dysfunction.

My first (and only) was born on my 38th birthday, and I'm pretty sure I could have had another within a few years after. So you're being very conservative. She could turn out to be another Michelle Duggar (Oh please God NO).

Oh absolutely! I know many women are able to conceive and carry babies well into their 40s, I was just giving a low estimate. Wishful thinking :)

Of course she is! She is the type who will get knocked up because she's been stable and " in a good place" for about a week. She did that with Kaiser. She was in school for her useless medical certificate and dating Nathan and hadn't been arrested for anything so it was obvi.  a good time to get preggo!

I would think normally, anything that's going to screw up her chances of landing a new boyfriend will force her to exercise some caution and some additional effort of contraception (you know, the kind of caution and effort she can't be bothered to apply to her family, her schooling, her professional life, her legal issues), but- the problem is, Jenelle has no capacity for learning. She thinks every guy she meets is going to be the one that stays, thus she has no fear of lowering her dating prospects by getting pregnant again, since she assumes she won't need dating prospects. If she's not currently pregnant now (and maybe it's a poor angle but she appears much more bloated than she did on her instagram photos from last month), then I give it 6 months, assuming they don't break up before then.

 

Out of curiosity, after reading the latest episode thread about Nathan and his ex and daughter, I googled the ex and got linked to her twitter account by a Radar online article, which I assume means it's legit. She posted her visitation agreement back in 2014. Neither she nor Nathan are allowed overnights, and Nathan is supposed to be with his parents when he has his daughter. Depending on the parents' schedules, that may  explain why Nathan doesn't see her more. There is specific language in the agreement about showing up drunk, so I am guessing both Nathan and his ex have pretty serious substance abuse issues, that likely led to safety concerns for their kid.

She didn't get free sunscreen, so we know the kid went without protection.  Also, it's not even summer!!  You only need sunscreen in the summer. Yeesh.

I'm genuinely curious, what is wrong with the floaties and weird belly band thing Kaiser was wearing on the boat?  I'm young and I don't have kids, so I'm not really current on the latest in water safety devices for babies.  I've never seen one of those belly band things before, is that a new thing?
