-- JDJ: "Without giving too much away, like, I've - 'cause there's so many Easter eggs in this crossover this year, I've had to like read my scripts with the Wikipedia. Um, and I'm just like, 'what is that?' (Miming looking back and forth at different pages) 'Oh, [unintelligible word] 75.'"

I saw that on twitter too. Canadagraphs hangs around the set, so it's most likely real. I'd love to see a scene between Constantine and Luci.

KP has confirmed it. I trust his info.

Given who is filming, I wonder if Oliver is already dead and Diggle and Mia are trying to bring him back.

ETA: KP also said that most of the crazy guest stars aren’t just cameos.

I tend to agree with his opinion that its just too much,even with the extra episode they have. Especially with most of the guest stars taking up significant screentime. The Tom Ellis appearance just seems random and unnecessary to me.

I don't remember any press about LaMonica Garrett being a multi-show series regular; but he was listed with the regular cast instead of the guest cast in The Flash's season 6 premiere, BTW.

I thought it was interesting because I doubt he's making more than one or two more appearances on the show, outside the crossover.

CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS - Supergirl AND Legends Of Tomorrow - October 10 downtown Vancouver filming
*  *  *
On this day, Supergirl was shooting a variety of scenes in downtown Vancouver, that also included a short scene for Legends Of Tomorrow's episode that was being piggybacked off their unit to save time & $$.

At 1 location, there were scenes inside the Butcher & Bullock Pub. They shot scenes in there for Supergirl AND Legends. Essentially with the same cast for all of it with 1 slight change between the two shows scenes. The pub was on Earth 1, and in Star City.... but I didnt catch if it had a name.

In the opening scene they shot, Caity Lotz as Sara Lance and Brandon Routh as Ray Palmer (not Superman) were sitting in a pub playing trivia when Audrey Marie Anderson comes in as Harbinger and recruits them for Crisis. This scene was for the Supergirl episode.

The later scene had Ray & Sara still there, but this time David Harewood as J'onn J'onnz was there with the pair, still in the same pub, just with J'onn there now instead of Harbinger. This scene seems like its after Crisis has ended, and maybe the pair were put back where they were found? But why is J'onn there now? This scene was for the Legends Of Tomorrow episode.
*  *  *
Over at the other set, which was much more public. The early scene, which I missed because I was busy trying to cover off that other location, plus I had to leave for half an hour to cover a non-filming related thing, had a scene I sorely am disappointed to have missed. I saw the rehearsals for the scene, but the on screen actor was not there for it yet, just a stand in, with a large dog. Thankfully local set watcher TheMysciraBound caught the scene, and was generous enough to allow use of some of her photos below.

The original Robin from the Batman TV show in the 1960s. Burt Ward was on set. He was decked out in Robin colours, and I am sure a lot of people want to theorize that hes a retired Robin living the good life walking Ace the Bathound. But I found out, his character name is literally "Burt Ward". He is on Earth 66 (the same year the series debuted... this will be a recurring theme I suspect as we already know 90s Flash came from Earth 90.... and another easter egg in the next scene descriptions below.). He looks up in the sky while walking a dog (no name for the dog was heard), and blurts out "Holy crimson skies...." (there was more, but the person I got the details from didnt hear it all)... and that was it. Burt was done for the day, and possibly the series.

One other detail I can confirm about this scene. It will be in the first few minutes of the episode, as they show things going on with the different earths.
*  *  *
A scene was then done out in the middle of the street at Oceanic Plaza (a very busy & popular filming location) that consisted of Ruby Rose as Batwoman fighting members of a gang in bunny masks. At some point she gets the upper hand, she has a gun type decide pointed at the gang as they are running around being a menace. We then find all the bunny guys on the ground motionless as she moves in towards 1 of them, a bright light appears and Harbinger is there. She tells Batwoman she is needed for the Crisis, and BW chalks her up to just another crazy and throws some batarangs at her, which do absolutely nothing. A few of the Harbinger shots at the beginning come from an anonymous fan who allowed me to use their photos. They had a much better vantage point than I found, so I am grateful for their efforts.

A bit later, they did a stunt, and while they were prepping to do that stunt, on a different part of the area, they did a small quick scene with Robert Wuhl reading a newspaper, and he looks up into the sky. This scene takes place on Earth 89, and if you are confused by why that is, you obviously did not watch the 1989 Batman movie. Robert plays Alexander Knox, a reporter in that movie. I unfortunately was too exhausted to wait out that scene, but I did see them rehearsing it with a stand in sitting on the bench in his place. But it looked like they might be awhile till they were filming it, so I called it a night.
*  *  *
Lastly, a little bonus. I am sure some fans want me to talk about the scoop I broke that honestly, crippled my twitter mentions. I'm aware theres a rabid fandom for this show & character, but really, I did not expect anywhere near this impact.
*  *  *
So, by sheer fluke I stumbled across The Flash filming at a studio that Arrow uses. While much of the crew there were terrific, one particular driver there decided they were going to flash their high beams right at me and a crew member when the cast was leaving theer trailers to get into the vehicle as a way of trying to prevent me from seeing them.

Well joke was on them, because I had actually seen the scene shot in part a couple takes inside the alley way they have at the studio. In it, I saw Matt Ryan as John Constantine, and Katherine McNamara as Mia Smoak there with of all peopel Tom Ellis dressed as Lucifer Morningstar. If you are an Arrowverse fan unfamiliar with Lucifer Morningstar, he is a character from a DC Vertigo property named "Lucifer". I also saw David Ramsey at the set, but from the angle I was at, I never actually saw him IN the scene. But there was literally no other reasons he would have been there, so I have to believe he was in the scene from an angle I could not see from the 2/3 of a city block away angle I had. All I know of the scene is, they walk out of a building that has a sign above it that says "hotel". I am sure some want photos. But its a private business, and shooting a scene in there would be at the least, a small problem morally, and depending what argument they wanted to go with, legally... So all I can do is report on it. ONLY reason I reported on it at all, is because of that 1 driver. I was completely willing to let that this slide by since I had no photos of it, but he tried to be a jerk on purpose, so, there it is.

I don't remember when it was but I remember LMG posting something about closing a deal and tagging not only Arrow but all the other shows as well. So it's possible he has a multi show contract, it would make sense even if he only appears once or twice on the non COIE eps.

FWIW, Pagey is spoiling that the cast from DC Universe's Titans series has already filmed a short cameo for the COIE crossover. This scene takes place in Titans Tower at night and just involves them "standing in some hero positions" and looking out the window. However, the specific Titans members in this scene are still "to be disclosed."  Pagey claims to have "physical proof," which he cannot share...

The DC Titan's cast have said they are not involved in the crossover. If anything I can see them just getting permission to use a scene from the show and add it in as a glimpse of their Earth. I think their cameo will be like the Michael Keaton Batman cameo which is just a newspaper.

Now I wonder though if that's the newspaper Sara is reading in the scene with her and Barry.

I'm wondering if some of the worlds destroyed could be represented by clips from DC's other/past TV shows. They may not be able to get actors back for all the worlds they want to include, but would they be able to use footage from WB/DC's other properties? It would be another (cheaper?) way to get more cameos.

In an interview with MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), David-Jones gave us some exciting teasers about Connor's journey in season 8, his relationship with Mia Smoak (Katherine McNamara), and the upcoming crossover 'Crisis on Infinite Earths'.

"I can't give too much away about 'Crisis,'" he said. "Only to say that after it happens, everything is going to change. I mean obviously, you know Arrow's coming to an end, but it's going to affect everything. The whole world of the Arrowverse is going to change because of what it is. I just know that it's going to be nuts, man. Just amazing."

A Stephen Amell Tweet Is Driving Speculation He Might Play The Spectre in Crisis on Infinite Earths
By RUSS BURLINGAME - October 14, 2019
https://comicbook.com/dc/2019/10/14/stephen-amell-spectre-crisis-infinite-earths/

Quote

After a curiously-worded tweet, Arrow star Stephen Amell has some fans wondering whether The Spectre could be playing a role in "Crisis on Infinite Earths" -- and one fan site is even reporting that Amell himself will be the one to step into the role. The Spectre's presence in "Crisis on Infinite Earths" would not be entirely surprising -- after all, the character played a brief but very significant role in the comic book miniseries on which the event is based. The decision to put Oliver Queen under that particular hood would be a little more surprising -- but something that might make some sense to longtime comics fans.

The Spectre is basically God's avenging angel. While the traditions of superhero comics prevent him (usually) from saying outright what God he works for, The Spectre is divine wrath personified, with some definite Judeo-Christian aspects to his backstory and characterization. The Spectre, also, is a powerful force that needs to be tethered to a human.
*  *  *
Such a trajectory is not impossible to imagine, either for the Oliver Queen we have always known or for another Earth's Oliver Queen who may have been a spoiled rich kid whose act of redemption was the kind of heroism that has defined the later life of our Ollie. In fact, Heroic Hollywood is already reporting (based on an anonymous source and prompted by Amell's tweet above) that Amell will play the role). Written well, it could be pretty poignant -- and it could play into something else we all learned this weekend.

Over the weekend, fans were told that Tom Ellis would be playing the role of Lucifer Morningstar (his character from Lucifer and the literal devil) in "Crisis on Infinite Earths." He was reportedly taking part in a scene that also included Matt Ryan's John Constantine, suggesting some magical elements. What if, then, Lucifer was representing Hell and The Spectre was representing Heaven in reality's conflict with the Anti-Monitor?

During an interview with ComicBook.com last week, we asked Amell to address an old theory we came up with -- namely, that Oliver Queen would not die in the Crisis but would be removed to a pocket Universe with Felicity. Asked whether he would prefer death, or a fake-out death like that, Amell teased, "I have a third idea, but I can't tell you what it is."

In the original comics, The Spectre appeared and was one of the beings who came the closest to defeating the Anti-Monitor one-on-one. His inability to do so put him into a coma, and left the villain significantly weakened. It was later established that a hand seen at the dawn of creation -- a long-running mystery of the DC Universe -- was likely that of The Spectre.

Arrow’s Stephen Amell To Become The Spectre For ‘Crisis On Infinite Earths’

Arrow star Stephen Amell will have another DC Comics character under his belt as the actor is set to become The Spectre in Crisis on Infinite Earths.

Stephen Amell’s choice of words is very interesting as we can confirm that he will be playing a version of The Spectre in Crisis on Infinite Earths. According to a source, Stephen Amell will become The Spectre at some point during the crossover, but it is unclear if it will be as Oliver Queen or another character, such as Jim Corrigan.

This crossover is going to all sorts of weird places. It was already weird from the source material, but then they're incorporating all the current TV versions into the story, and then guest stars, cameos, setup for the rest seasons and spinoffs.... I'm not expecting this to make much sense in the final edit. (But there'll be "cool stuff" galore!)

Ouch.  So that means Harry Wells from Flash season 2 and his daughter are both dead?  😕 But that’s definitely starting things off with a bang.

It’s kind of starting to sound like we need to watch this season of Arrow, at least, if not the other shows, in order to be caught up for the actual crossover.  Not sure how I feel about that. 🤔

I'm watching both The Flash and Arrow the season (as soon as they hit the app any way) but not Supergirl or Batwomen. I hope people here share any crisis related stuff on those two shows. I wish Legends was on 😔 I can't wait to see Arrow tonight! Earth 2 destroyed 1st is interesting because it's the other world we know most about maybe even more than Supergirl's world.

  • Love 1

After browsing through the live-viewing thread, I’m willing to be convinced regarding Arrow, considering the special circumstances.  Flash and Supergirl would be harder sells, even with the Crisis buildup.  I left both shows behind after their second seasons and haven’t really looked back.  Batwoman.....I haven’t even gotten around to watching last year’s crossover yet, though it’s on my to-do list before this one airs.   I’m missing Legends a lot right now though.  I can kind of see why they might not have wanted to use most of their season for Crisis build-up; on the other hand, it would have been a lot of fun to see their take on it. 😕

Probably unless they escaped to Earth Prime when the red skies showed up.

Flash had some stuff in tonight's episode but I think the bulk of it will be on Arrow. So far there's been nothing on Batwoman and Supergirl. Batwoman is probably focused on getting to the present (at the moment the show is pre-Elseworlds) and I bet Supergirl will do their usual thing of having a crossover connection the episode before.

Always.

I don't remember if we got any info on who gets Mia or why she's brought into the present for Crisis but, until I know otherwise, I'm hoping it's because Sara learns Oliver is destined to die and sends for Mia so he can get to know her. At the very least I want Oliver to tell Sara his destiny before the fighting starts. Felicity and Diggle are the first to know, and they should be, but Oliver loves and trusts Sara almost as much (I'd say just below them if I were making a list), and knows she's the same with him, and absolutely needs to tell her. Plus it will give me Oliver/Sara goodies and we're running out of time for those.

  • Love 2

 There's nothing Crisis related on Batwoman right now.   It's set before last year's crossover.   I don't know how far before or how/when they plan on catching up to the present before Crisis.  Supergirl hasn't had anything Crisis related either since last season's finale.

  • Love 1

Welp - was hoping to see some Earth-2 heroes show up in the crossover. Guess not.

As for Crisis teases on The Flash, Barry saw "billions" of scenarios, and the only one where everyone is saved is the one where he dies.

They also showed a few glimpses of the antimatter wave disintegrating Flash characters.

  • Love 3

I only watch The Flash so this thread will have to be my source of what is happening on the other shows that impact Team Flash.

So Earth 2 is gone. That means losing Harry, Jesse, Iris/Barry/his parents, and Solovar and the other gorillas escaped somehow. I am going with the scenario that they escaped through a breach somehow.

They are time travelling Mia/Oliver. RME. This crossover crisis is so ridiculously over dramatic.
