Nobody is saying anything about what you said other than it is shocking. Nothing to do with you at all. We appreciate what everyone has to say on here. Just crazy how they can cut one person for weight, yet let others stay. Same for cutting people for other reasons. No consistency. I also want to know why in the previews, they show Selina sitting in the seats waiting to hear about TC. I thought she was cut last year???

She was cut at finals this year due to weight which she was warned abt last year

Seriously though- poor Scott did not get the memo!   It reminded me of the movie Mulholland Drive, where the mobster guy is telling the Justin Theroux character that he must hire a certain girl who has auditioned for his movie-- "This is THE girl."

I figured since it was such a late dinner after practice that there had to be a big reason why almost all vets were there. They have late practice nights all the time, so why this time decide to go to IHOP at 3am when many girls have camp DCC the next morning? Clearly it was something serious and likely unexpected, not something like a vet voluntarily quitting. It makes me happy that the vets are all so supportive of each other!

They have 100% say on everything . The show is NOT about quality dancers, skilled persons or even showmanship despite what CMT wants everyone to think .  It is about ratings, drama, degradation.   Think about it,  really Kelli is always shown positively and gives a fake vibe she cares about these girls ....

Rewatching last weeks episode it's all just too much, Kelli tearing up at the very sight of the red clad muppet girl and then later when Kelli showed Charlotte a picture of VK, Charlotte literally coo-ed.   Yikes compared to the tepid response to Dayton.  Objectively judging your best friends daughter or your daughters best friend, I don't think so.  This makes the selection of Cassie look downright impartial.

I do feel bad for Victoria. I hope she doesn’t read this forum. Although, I am not a fan of her style of dance, I do think she has really put in the time and effort to become a dcc. I truly believe she is passionate and full of excitement. I wish the best for her even though I do not think she is the best out there.

Can someone update me on who’s still in training camp and who’s been cut but with pictures possibly?? I’m still learning names so it would help if I saw faces. Also does anyone know if Meredith the girl with the really light eyes who Kelli said she had the girl crush on make it to training camp and if so is she still there?? Thanks in advance

This is the saddest thing. The show, while the reason we are all here on this forum, is what ruins the DCC. Everything is story driven. Cutting a vet who didn’t commit some heinous crime,  so close to the end, is unforgivable. Weight to me, is not a crime.  And the whole making or wanting judges to say one thing or another? insane.

This! There better b a damn good reason that most of us can agree on that Tara got cut cuz TPTB r slowly losing all the respect I had for them when this show first began. World Class? That starts at the top, don’t diminish the brand for ratings please and thank you.

I think Tara had weight on her at the swimsuit shoot. But now I can’t remember because I just don’t pay attention like you guys do (no shade intended). I watch the show and read the boards but don’t really care who makes the team since I just find the girls so boring and I don’t live in Texas or know the dance world. The behind the scenes has become way more interesting than the actual show...it was never like this when I first started watching back in 2007. If there was drama, it was hidden because the girls were just so great. Just my two cents.

With the news about Tara coming out before the show, I was looking for her and didn't see her at all.  The cameraperson didn't show everyone that was on their right at the vet rehearsal (while the girls were sitting and when they stood up). So I wonder if she was on weight warning and was pulled for the NFL Draft performance? I thought I saw her once from the back in the locker room, but it was hard to tell. 

Did anyone see her?

As I said previously, we know they can and will edit anything to make it look a certain way and since they mark sometimes, can make it look like a girl isn’t presenting power or is struggling.  If you take someone to training camp and you had a season to see how they performed, then don’t insult our intelligences by saying  they were out danced.  I have specific trouble since she had all judges saying yes last year.

She’s in the main wall calendar and the sideline calendar.

I really hope Scott Padgett of CBS 11 doesn't get released from being a judge per his comments on Victoria. That forum should be without any bias.... many people see things differently than others. Different points of view should always create the best team for DCC.

I have a thought I’d like the boards opinion on. When Cassie was trying out I remember Judy excusing herself from deliberations by the panel of judges. Does anyone think C&K shud have stepped out and let the rest of the panel discuss VK?  Then they cud look over the responses. They may have then gotten a truer feeling of how VK was being perceived and what needs working on. I’m not saying it wud have changed her getting into camp/making the team but C&K just forcing everyone to say she’s the best ever isn’t doing anyone any favors. Also I’m starting to believe Dayton was a pawn in this so they can always say ‘See, we don’t just take any legacy. We’re impartial.’

Oh FFS Tara has zero weight issue. I mean do not be shocked if K&J call it a weight issue, but she has no weight issue. And she didn’t have one at calendar — she is in the cakendar.

This is so obviously a show storyline based decision. You know K does it because she thinks it adds “drama” but these things actually make her look like an idiot and really really bad at her job. I mean, if Tara really actually had a weight is — K is a moron for putting her in the calendar and keeping her this long. Be better at your job, K.

Also, I know Shelley said she was “taking a break” (as all employees do at busy, important times of year?). Does anyone know if she is back? Man, I hope she just leaves them out after the Dayton episode.

Also, it is obviously super sad if Tara left/got cut. But the fact so many of them were at practice so late THEN at IHOP in the middle of the night on a Wednesday into Thursday is yet another little nugget indicating that none of them really any have sort of actual full time job like they want you to believe.

Long time lurker, first time poster.  Shelly was at practice last night and posted an Instagram story. I have no idea how to share it. They were doing their field entrance with over the PA system announcing them. Not sure if they would announce the team like this or they were just practicing.

Agreed.  Tonight I stopped watching the show after the second commercial break because, for the first time since the show began, I found myself completely uninterested in the new candidates.

If the team was announced last night, that suggests they took a team of 38 young women, as I doubt that K&J would cut 3 on the last night, particularly after a cut as emotional as Tara's (a vet, late in camp) must have been. So who was the final one cut?  Please, not Brennan.

It amazes me that TK is loud, attention seeking, and just all around lacking class and she produced an offspring just like her. Shelley is beautifully elegant with a lot of class and she produced an offspring just like her. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Since Kelly and Charlotte were so close to VK and her offspring, she should have exclude themselves from the judging so that a serious conversation could be had. That's what Judy did when Cassie was trying out. It's obvious that they let there emotions rule and would be willing to lower the standard. If you lower the standard for VK, then you can't pride yourself and the organization for having high standards. Either the standards set are for everyone or you have no standards.
