  1. I mentioned this after the first part of the reunion, but it looks to me like Dorit had a nose job. Does anyone else see it? I used to think Dorit had a beautifully unique, if slightly imperfect nose. It gave her so much character and a natural beauty.. Now all I see is a perfectly aligned, if slightly swollen, line-for-a-nose on her 'barbie' face. She is still very pretty, don't get me wrong, but just in today's more generic, Kardashian perfect way.
  2. Looks by group. Erica and Garcelle look absolutely gorgeous. Kyle, Rinna, and Teddi look especially good. Finally Denise, Dorit, and Sutton look very good, but not their absolute best.
  3. Did Dorit get a nose job? Her nose before appeared more unique and gave her a certain individual beauty I do not see now. She has a more generic beauty at the reunion.
  4. She has had an excellent rhinoplasty procedure, imho.
  5. In my opinion Kyle's conversational invitation for Aaron to discuss his work is a real mean girl's parlour game. The dinner party's invitees are an arguably well-off, successful, and 'educated' (again, it's arguable) group of people. It's not like Kyle is asking a Caltech professor to discuss his invention of embedded biometric sensors in fabric. That would be an interesting dinner party conversation. Instead she is asking a (probably nice-enough guy, but) rather dimwitted Aaron to inarticulately discuss some gobbledygook, and she knows it. If you mute the television (as I did halfway through Aaron's cringe-inducing explanation), you can see that Denise's body language reads as someone who is deeply uncomfortable, even embarrassed, and trying desperately to extricate herself from the situation. She knows that Aaron is spewing nonsense and digging himself into a fool's hole, and can do little to stop it. (At least Mauricio was politely stoned/drunk enough to make it seem like he understood and cared.) No wonder Denise (and I am no fan of hers) did not like these ladies, carried some animosity, and talked behind their backs -- they appear to take pleasure in purposely creating a set piece for her husband to humiliate himself. And the sad part is that Aaron doesn't even have the self-awareness to know that he is being played. I don't know about place cards, but I do know that a polite and good hostess does everything in her power to steer the conversation away from topics that will cause her guests any awkwardness, embarrassment, or discomfort. So I guess Sutton was right in her initial assessment (or "first impression") of Kyle's skills as a hostess.
  6. Meredith is gorgeous and has the DCC look. She really should make the team, the dance perfection will come. And, fyi, one of my all-time favorite DCCs remains Selina for her beauty of spirit and character, so I really do appreciate the different strengths any particular young lady brings to the team.
  7. Whitney is looking good this season due to some very well done and subtle cosmetic procedures. A mid- and lower facelift perhaps? An upper and lower blepharoplasty? Fillers? Botox? His beautiful mother Patricia has clearly also benefited from some excellent "work" over the years. They likely use the same surgeon(s) and dermatologist(s). (If either one reads these boards, I would be grateful if you could please recommend your cosmetic surgeon(s) for a "friend".)
  8. I love, love, love that Jinelle and Katy can be open about their relationship, engagement, and love. These women are shattering so many preconceptions, stereotypes and assumptions about what it means to be LGBTQ, feminine, feminist, and part of the DCC organization. I have a whole new respect for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders organization and the support and embrace they have shown these two beautiful women. (I think Katy is the woman who allowed my daughter to register as a walk-in and participate in the DCC camp at Oxnard a few summers back. So she is good in my book.)
  9. You should come to Saturday's game anyway @go4luca! But since you are fortunate enough to live in L.A. full time you can always begin your live football experience next fall with a UCLA or USC home game at the Rose Bowl or the Coliseum respectively. I will keep my eye out for any current or former DCC in the stands ;)
  10. I will be in L.A. this week, and am taking my son to Saturday's Cowboys-Rams game at the Coliseum. It will be our first NFL game ever. Too bad the DCC do not travel to away games, but at least I will get to see the Cowboys and Rams play a (hopefully) great playoff game.
  11. Hey now, no need to condescend about Kentucky Burgoo. ;) Shout out to Kelli's Givenchy Antigona handbag(s) for making another appearance in this episode. I first spotted one on her arm two episodes back during the team bonding trip to Billy Bob's. Tres chic. To Charlotte Jones: Please get the ladies in DCC management -- all of them, since you can afford it -- the personal gift this holiday of a Prada Small or Medium Saffiano Galleria bag. It is a good professional look. Also, please do not lose any more weight! I personally think that Charlotte would look beautiful with an extra 10 pounds, more like her lovely daughter. This message board gives Victoria Kalina more attention and scrutiny than the actual show. Yes, she is still immature, irresponsible, and unprepared, but so are many other young women at that age. I know I was. My heart went out to Victoria in this episode in one scene, I think when Kelli dismisses the TCC after a practice, where she sort of wanders off by herself as the other girls all pair up with their friends. In my opinion, Victoria is insecure, and the other girls appear to shun her, at least in that scene (perhaps for valid reasons, but still). I wish they would understand that Victoria is really - in terms of maturity - a young, insecure girl -- struggling with the pressure and expectation of being a legacy candidate -- and would show her some compassion.
  12. I love the posters on this forum! Yes, we sometime post things that are snarky, outright mean, or argumentative, but more often we are insightful, intelligent, funny, and informative. Importantly, we are rarely - if ever - hateful or bullies toward one another. Y'all are quality people. I followed up on Courtney Cook through Google search, and I am happy to find out that she appears to have married well. That is an old-fashioned sentiment, I know, but her husband works for his family's construction company which does large, prominent commercial and instutional projects throughout Utah and the Southwest. She seems like a sweet person and I wish her a happy future.
  13. Kelli, Jacie, and Nicole all rocked their dresses in this episode. Victoria is winning me over by being her real self, which at this point in her life is a slightly immature, over-enthusiatic, 18-year-old girl, and that's okay. Dayton looks to be so nice and is such a beautiful girl, but she appears to struggle with the fast pace of learning the choreography (or at least is edited that way). Kristin and blonde Taylor are both very pretty, but perhaps a bit timid. And Marshall and Courtney both have an anxious energy about them.
  14. Alanna has the best figure, and Madeline Mo. the prettiest face, among the rookies. They both have fantastic hair. Madeline Mo. is very photogenic, but oddly not so telegenic.
  15. So far, the audition candidates are #sedate this year, as in quiet and rather dull.
