This is a final reminder:

Other teams have much shorter training camps or have it after selecting the team, at least then you know it won’t be worth nothing in the end. 

The show and social media have probably changed the way hopefuls view the process of becoming a DCC and compared to some other teams becoming a DCC looks like a huge time commitment (as well as costing a lot of money and nerves). My guess is that it’s a combination of all three things. Plus i think some other teams are catching up to the DCC in terms of being attractive to audition for. The Dolphins cheerleaders went to London last year and did a cruise this year. That’s pretty exciting. 

And here in Ohio we have the Browns who have never had cheerleaders. We can't even get players to come to our team. You'd think the least they could do is give us cheerleaders.

Lacey, Madeline, Heather, KaShara, Tasha, Kelli, Lauren, Gina, Khalyn, Tess, Lexie and Alexis.  Sorry..I have never been a fan of Amy...she's just meh to me :)  And...just by the rookie candidate solos I saw: I would add Madeline M. and Rachel W to the list, as potential alternates, provided they make the team.

Not a criticism of VK specifically, but a bit WTF to girls in their 20s lately and these massive false eyelashes. I wear falsies sometimes for volume, but I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be able to see with some of the blankets these girls are wearing on their eyes. Am I alone here? Am I getting too old?

Botox doesn't relax muscles, it paralyzes them.  The reason it works for a gummy smile is that the muscle paralysis minimizes the upper lip from pulling upward & showing too much gum.

I had more of the Jenna overload then KaShara overload last season especially with the poor me I am being tested crap from Jenna at the end. She broke the rules more than once, and she probably ratted out Erica to save herself, so I do not feel sorry for her at all. I do wish her well and hope she can step away from the DCC Organization in order to have a happy life away from the organization.

I don't know anything about VK except what I have read here...so I'm certainly not going to degrade the young lady in a public forum.

Jenna...I've been a fan of hers since the season she made the squad, but got tired of the drama with her and Holly last year.

Some are quite garish and look like  drag queen lashes...False lashes can be quite lovely when they are used to enhance but these HUGE lashes just look cartoonish. 

Looks ok in a drag show but not on the big jumbo-tron :)

I know Kelli would rather die than change the uniform but they are way overdue for a design tweak on the shorts. Ultra low rise went out of style more than a decade ago. It's ridiculous to put perfectly fit women in those unflattering shorts. They make even the tiniest of DCC look wide across the backside.

I think they are trying to do this,but veery slowly. Last season the rookies got slightly bigger shorts, or at least it looked like it.

That's my take as well over the past couple of seasons.  Maybe I'm seeing things but if you look at the low cut of say Jenna's shorts compared to the last two seasons, the newer verson do look like they've been making them a bit taller.  At least on the sides of the shorts.

Can we all agree that when anyone says “fat” they don’t really mean fat. They’re talking for dcc standards. Personally I don’t like to use that word, it seems harsh, but I can certainly get that when someone says it they don’t mean it in a literal real world way.

While the DCC shorts look like diapers at times, I remember a picture someone posted of the shorts another NFL team had at one time.  The shorts were SKIMPY, as in basically only enough coverage to avoid showing anything X-rated or above and even then, I was scared of what would happen if the girl had a wardrobe malfunction due to the extremely short shorts being TOO small.  After all, there was MAYBE 2 inches of fabric across the front and just enough in the back to cover the booty.  Basically, the shorts were a pair of underwear pretending to be a pair of shorts.

Kelli's hair is pushed forward to cover her forehead, plus probably hairpieces, so it doesn't look so thin. I like that Kelli looks more mature than the teenagers, but no way I'd believe she's not 35-45 if I didn't know better.

There's also too much tension in her shoulders and neck.  She might also be clenching her jaw which would add to the overall effect.  If she just relaxed into the pose, it would be much better.

Some girls got together and tried to be the Browns cheerleaders a few years back. I don't think the group lasted though. I'll dig up a photo or vid to put in the other squads thread if anyone is interested.

The thing I love about Kelli and one of the reasons she's my favorite is because she has such a unique look. Here she looks like all the other blondes. Are we sure this is her? Lol

Can people stop saying balancing for race is like hair color. ANYONE can change hair color in a couple of hrs. That's apples vs. spaceships.

WE ALL KNOW DCC IS NOT A STRICT MERITOCRACY. That is why we will never see long clips from everyone's auditions. However,  when discussing black women, they have the wrong body type or aren't talented enough.

Anyway,  I didn't come to change minds, just state my opinion.

I’m excited for this season. For my part, I like the stories of mothers and daughters, we don’t see enough mother- daughter stories where the mother has a career and is supporting her daughter too. We don’t have enough stories of women as friends and co workers in a high profile ,high pressure work environment.

Okay so unpopular opinion: a quick review of the DCC photo shoot on IG and I think the photographer sucks. How do you have all of these beautiful and fit women and you take the least lovely photos?? They literally make a photo pretty with their faces and you (photog) mess it up?? YOU HAVE ONE JOB. I detest sorry levels of photography. It looks like amateur hour and poor use of lighting tools. Sorry not freaking sorry.
