  1. I don't think Dayton is being cryptic at all. I think she means what she says, ie. she doesn't want all the microscrutinizing and business put on full blast, which is what happens with the CMT show, social media, boards, etc., so she won't audition while the show is on. IF that means never auditioning again, then OK.
  2. I think it's great that Shelley could accompany her daughter for a vacation while Dayton also interviewed for a job. My husband gets to travel more than me for work, and he takes his dad or my dad, who are both retired, more than he takes me. Honestly, I love my family, but I look forward to when our girls are old enough to be alone in a hotel room or explore a little bit while my husband is in conferences. I don't think accompanying your family member on an over seas interview is helicoptoring, and honestly, I feel when parents have zero involvement or interest with what their kids are doing. Eighteen means legal, not abandoned. Shelly and her husband are raising an accomplished, independent, well mannered young woman, and I hope my girls turn out as well as hers has.
  3. As a mother myself, I'd be done. I completely understand the first cut, and that was deserved. They admit she wasn't prepared and sort of wanted to see what might happen. But I could not watch my daughter's heart be broken a second time, after she'd prepared all year, being featured on a TV show, then cut again. If my daughter wasn't ready for it, I'd fully expect my decades long friends and co workers to politely suggest she prep for another year in her area of weakness, or just let us know she'd be a better fit somewhere else.
  4. The whole thing looks to me like Brooke pieced together some old DCC moves, and then didn't pratice them enough.
  5. Brooke may have been an amazing DCC, but she's no Judy on the choreography level. That routine looks rough.
  6. KEEP UP THE EXTRA, MARSHALL. It's not a bad thing. Loving the kilt and Braveheart dreads BTW. Well, she officially lost me as a fan. Her whole income now is based on social media and reality shows. She's making bank on her looks and her relationship, so she really needs to make sure she doesn't sound like she's unappreciative or resents fans, or she may have to get a real job.
  7. It looks like the head is photoshopped onto a different body.
  8. That train left the station at least a year ago LOL. I tend to hope VK surely has enough sense, that if Kelli did say that, VK would keep her mouth shut. My mind wanders into a scenario where somebody asks VK if she thinks she'll make it, or if camp is hard, etc., and she says "I'm not worried" just because she's confident and prepared, so not nervous, but not because she thinks she's made the team already.
  9. Margaret is beautiful, and prettier or as pretty to me as Madeline, little Heather, Milan, Allie, Amy L, Keyra, Selina, Rachel, I could go on an on if we went back further.
  10. Marshall is beyond Extra, but I love to see the looks he comes up with for himself far more than what he does to the girls.
  11. She really needs to up her game if she plans to do that. Cassie is probably paying her so the heat will be off her.
  12. They're not out in public. They're at work inside the stadium, wearing what they were instructed.
  13. In sorority, 20 years ago lol, legacies were considered the daughter/granddaughter/niece/sister, sometimes first cousin or goddaughter. I'd personally consider Kitty's daughter in law a legacy, as I would Crystal Trevino as a sister, and possibly Keyra as Jacie's cousin. But for the DCC, I think they call daughters, and then probably granddaughters eventually, of former teammates legacies.
  14. Don't leave because of my comment LOL, it wasn't directed at you or anyone. I'm still not sold on Christina, just hadn't kept up with what was wrong with her besides her dancing.
