Ok. The way Shannon acted when their daughter was getting the photos done and the boys came was just plain embarrassing for the girls! 

Didnt like the shade David thru onto Shannon re: eating bread. A lot of people I know dealing with weight issues only have a harder time when others try to control their diet. They rebel and eat more or become more self loathing because of the comments.

She was so pushy and then in her TH she acted like Peggy just opened up to her with no prompting. 

And no, Lydia, Shannon wasn't "yelling." Strident? Yes. Screaming and yelling? No (and the editors kinda agree I think). And to be honest I don't think Shannon is like Vicki. I'd be pissed if someone compared ME to Vicki, too. That's not precisely the way to get someone to warm up to you. Maybe she should have opened up by asking something about David's affair? 

And what the French... this week Kelly says she can relate to Shannon, next week she's back to regular Kelly. Yay!

This is Shannon's first season 2.0. Heather did the same thing that Lydia is doing: pushing Shannon's buttons, telling her to calm down and stop yelling (when she really isn't), etc. Next week looks insane. I'm not sure if it's healthy for Shannon to be on this show anymore.

Best part of the show was when Meghan was telling Jim about the friendship drama and he waited a beat before saying, "so what's for dinner?" lol

Lydia strikes me as someone who uses pronouncements of belief and a sing-song voice to always position herself as "right". The wide-eyed clutching of pearls while declaring Shannon had yelled & screamed at her was almost as annoying as calling a magazine "Noblemen".

She told Shannon that she shouldn't have brought stuff from the old house to the new house.  WTF?  What else would one bring with them?  Are you supposed to donate your belongings to some other poor soul so that you can buy all new things?  What would the feng shui expert say to the person who ends up with your furniture, clothes, etc. full of bad vibes?  Sucks to be you!  You've got bad feng shui now!  Sheesh!  I believe in good energy and that kind of thing, but her advisor was a little extreme, IMO.   Mr. Chat and I have been married 35 years and moved many times during those years.  We did just fine without a feng shui guru.

I like Lydia, but I sure wish she wouldn't have opened that can of worms with Shannon.  It was a very bad idea.  One that will haunt her the rest of this season!

The best part of this episode was no Vicki or Kelly at the party. 

We did get Brianna by proxy but she bailed out early thank goodness.
