How is Ramona's "Are you kidding me," not yet a meme on this board?  C'mon savy meme people, let's see something clever!

I think because we used it all up last week, but I'm going to quote myself for you.

Quote

ARE you kidding me?!?!?!?

Are YOU kidding me?!?!?!?

Are you KIDDING me?!?!?!?

Are you kidding ME?!?!?!?

Do you know where tinsley ended up?  I was surprised she was looking at rentals, I thought she was buying an apartment.

If she really wanted a new start she would change her look. She is the youngest one on the show but she has the most dated look.

I don't know where she ended up. I found the video below, but I'm not sure if it's her new place or her High Society place. I'm pretty sure it was the place she had when filming High Society, but that show was so awful that I'm not putting my eyes through that again just to confirm. It looks like she had her mom decorate it.

Tinsley is in a rental because she's still an event planner in Florida.

FYI background about Socialite Rank which helped fuel Tinsley's thirst

Did Dorinda have help at last year's Berkshires Christmas???  I don't remember seeing anyone cooking in the background like this year.

I think it was the same old Asian lady! I saw her last season!

You know what?

yes her childhood was difficult but having money helped her tremendously.

Her parents could have been poor and abusive. THen what? She calls 911. The cops come  and she is sent to Foster home or worst?

I feel like those who like her, say that money means nothing and  then take that wealth for granted, were never poor and in abusive situations. Now that is true hell.

In any case, she is pushing fifty, she has to forgive her parents somehow, if she hopes to find peace and raise her daughter in a responsible and kind way.

I envy Lulu's family. She had loving parents.

Exactly , money helps, can you still have a crappy childhood of course. if you are poor but had an amazing childhood that's great, but having money and connections is a huge deal, it just is.

Bethenny is succinct in delivering her vitriole.  Ramona is not.  Those differences aside, they are each extremely unpleasant in their own ways.  That being said, I dislike Bethenny more because I view her actions as being far more calculated and cruel than Ramona's.

I was wondering about the scene that had Dorinda going through her wardrobe racks and unzipping all the garment bags.  Do you think she was checking to see if something else was 'borrowed'?  I mean Ramona was in the house.

Dorinda was back in her NYC apartment when they showed her going through that garment bag. LOL

This nearly made me weep. I don't like the decor at Bluestone Manor, but it was Dorinda's home that she put her money, time, and heart into it. You don't disrespect peoples spaces like that. That was disgusting behavior and I'm sure that seeing Sonja wearing Dorinda's pajamas didn't help things. Are these two bitches Rick James?

Who fucking does the shit they did?

Drunk/druggy idiots in high school who have parties in their parents house while said parents are away.  I would have KILLED Ramona and I would have told Sonja off in the strongest terms possible.  They are both insconsiderate, entitled, oblivious, narcissistic bitches who don't have a shred of empathy.

I agree with those who have said Dorinda is an amazing hostess. However that is sober Dorinda. I would love to have seen drunk Dorinda take on Sonja wearing her dead husband's gift to her. Though that would have caused drunk Dorinda even more pain, so maybe not.

I think drunk(er) Dorinda would have acted the same to house burglar Sonya because Dorinda is "old school" when it comes to house guests and she has shown she walks the talk.  She was an amazing hostess right to the bitter end, even managing to keep her sense of humor.  A while ago Andy was asked which 5 hws he would like to curate a dinner party with and Dorinda was one of them.  Also funny that during her THs she's flawless but shoeless! When she pantomimed kicking drunk ass Sonya into her room she was barefoot.  Love her.

Ramona is the same narcissistic, rude, self centered, violent toddler she's been since the start of the show imo.  She's the reason I stopped watching when the show kept her and let Jill Zarin go.  She's horrible to everyone eventually if you give her enough time  and the only reason Sonya can stand her is Sonya is sloshed most of the time as well.  She hasn't changed she's just drinking more and possibly taking prescription pills. She treated Dorinda's home like her personal playpen, sloshing food on chairs, trashing her bedroom and probably a lot of other stuff we didn't see.  Too bad they didn't have cameras going when she went to her room and ripped the lights off the walls.  She needs to take a break from the show and go to rehab.

I loved seeing Jill and Bobby.  It was glorious to see a group of friends have dinner.  Actual friends that would have had dinner even if they weren't filming. Personally I would love it if Jill came back.  She brings the drama without having to get hammered and incoherent.  Bobby's toast was the icing on the cake; "Here's to those that wish us well, the rest of them can go fuck themselves"!

I think Ramona just became the person I want to watch most. All the layers of hurt and jealousy, combined with the delusional self-involvement...she's a comparatively complex character. I couldn't believe her reaction to Dorinda bringing up damage to the house. Last year she let her dog crap everywhere, and even if she figured production would pay it surprised me to see how dismissive she was when the she caused damage again.

I think I'm generally more team Bethenny in their argument. But, I also believe that if you don't want shit to come up on TV don't go on TV. I guess they both kind of suck in this situation.

I wish there was more of the art show. And production should keep rolling after Bethenny leaves. I feel cheated out of the drunk Sonja part.

I think Ramona bringing up the movie irritated Bethenny, but bringing up the movie in context to Brynn made Bethenny go nuclear. It's because of Ramona that they have the kid agreement. Yes, Ramona wasn't really talking about Brynn, but Ramona was trying to imply that Brynn should be upset because her mom is/was a whore. And Bethenny called her out on it because Ramona had the same opportunity to imply that Bethenny was a whore when she visited when Dennis was over. Ramona wanted it on camera and she specifically used Bryn because the same allegation with Dennis is stupid because he knows the difference between acting and real life. If Ramona had any sense, she should have asked if some of her business partners had an issue with the movie. Some of these wholesome brands might feel like that movie is contrary to their image.

The last thing Ramona needs is to retire. She's got no husband or kid at home. She's got tons of lonely hours to fill. She is pickling herself in anger, loneliness, jealousy, and Pinot Grigio. Her fixation on the sex scenes makes me realize that she's still the same old prude that she was in season 1.

I wish we had seen more of the art work. I liked when they did that little showing of Victoria's work.

I say this all the time!  Her hair is badly in need of a more modern cut and a better color.  Her makeup is way too harsh.  She is too young to look dated.  Even her mother looked more contemporary than she did.

I pointed out the exact same thing last week.  Of course you can be wealthy and be in an absolutely horrible situation, especially as a child.  But if I had to pick between two evils, I sure as hell would pick that over the same exact horrible situation while being poor.  The only people who say money doesn't matter are rich people.  Period end of story.

Speaking of money.....

Exactly how much does it pay to go on a television show and come off looking like a total fucking chump?

You have money coming in from selling swill and other stuff with your name on it, yet you need to go on a reality show to let us know that 10 thousand dollars isn't too much to spend (and mention) for pest control, on air. Buy a fly swatter for a few bucks and get rid of all that fucking hatred you wallow in..........Yell "Jason" every time you make a kill?

Ramona is retired. Why not book a cruise or do some traveling. Go on a safari, ride the elephants and complain that you have to shit into a bucket inside your tent. Live a fucking little?

Do could work in John's business, checking in clothes. That way she could get her pick and fill out the insurance forms for any items she wants?

Sonja........Uh.........er.........The Vagina Monologues, off Broadway, of course!

Lulu..........everyone loves a wedding. who cares who is getting hitched. It's an open bar!

Tinsley......she is too new to get a good read on. Of course, we need to factor in that she lived with Sonja for two months, that accounts for something, what it is, I am not sure.

Carole......Journalist, model and remora.

This just reminded me...  Last night when Carol was telling Tinsley about the art show, she included herself as one of the "beautiful" women the artist used as models.  Yeah, yeah, positive self-esteem is great and all that, but describing oneself as beautiful (as though it is a matter of fact which is universally agreed upon) brings things to an abhorrent level in my opinion.

I had no idea if your parents were rich and you were educated and had a car they are automatically good people and your struggles don't count. You therefore can never be self made unless you were born poor. Noted.

Beauty IS in the eye of the beholder, unless they are looking into a mirror.

That is just vanity - everyone knows that too much is a sin?

I found it quite refreshing!  I think as women, we are conditioned to put ourselves down....'ugh, I'm so fat', 'I hate my (fill in the blank)'.  Add that to all the negative commentary from other people (how many times has Carole been put down with regard to her looks??).   I find the fact that she thinks she's beautiful and being willing to say it loud and proud to be inspiring!  You go, girl!

...and those paintings of her were stunning!

It was too small for Sonja too.  Satin is an unforgiving fabric  and when it is basically acting as sausage casing, it isn't a good look.

I thought Crazy Sonja looked pretty fantastic in all that lady finery, stolen from a widow -- I bet she brought the lingerie home and demanded Connor bring her the best chair in the house to sleep in.

Quote

Bethenny didn't apologize to Luann in the Berkshires, she apologized for Luann causing her to look bad.

Exactly. Bethenny apologized to herself for letting herself down - by engaging herself  in behavior "unworthy"of herself -- and so by taking ownership of herself for hurting herself, she thinks she came out on top.

I noticed that tool. I like Carol but she has one of these weird faces that can be super ugly or uniquely beautiful...it seems pretty clear she considers herself to be beautiful but I don't think she meant to say "I'm beautiful", her comment seemed more of a Freudian slip.

She also said interesting. I suspect that she was using the artist's description of the project. Regardless, the work was stunning.

I did too. Just because someone else might not think I'm  beautiful, doesn't mean I have to agree.

I'm very pretty, I don't go around bragging about it(except now lol)   but I'm not going call myself unattractive to make other comfortable.

I dislike false modesty. Like stunning actress who  down play their looks or say their fat and are obviously not. ... Please,  own it,  be proud of yourself.  Looks are of course superficial and every one should strive for more than looks.

imo Bethenny and Ramona deserve each other - they have the same personality disorder and use the same tactics - it's only their styles that differ.

Actually, yes. I'd agree with that. Bethenny has changed, and not for the better. Ramona is still nuts but the two of them give as bad as they get. Shut them in a room, lock it from the outside.

I've always loved B, but what's with her Godfather attitude all the time? Sitting back in her chair, chin up, Marlo Brando'ing the shiz out of situations, as though she's in charge. She created a brand and pushed it heavily on the show and it took off. Hey, cool. But now she always has a bitchy, nasty comment, not funny and reflective like she was before, now she's just nasty and condescending.

And I really resented her yanking the pants down on her assistants. "They think my calendar is just a bunch of words". Fuck her. She's probably impossible to work for. The Devil Wears Prada crap. And her takedown of her assistant about the damn moth "I'm not sure how far you got in school". What an asshole.

The old Bethenny would hate this new bitch.

So Ramona is telling everyone that Bethenny went for her. That she was just defending herself. That you know how Bethenny can get. She was doing damage control all over the gallery show. Her talking heads indicate she may have drank the koolaid and believes it herself. I wonder what everyone thinks now that they've seen the episode?  Bethenny absolutely aid she wasn't a good friend but the only one losing it is Ramona

Ramona doubled down in her blog saying B's talking heads were even worse than what she said to her face.

I don't think the old Bethenny was real. I think she was the creation of a savvy PR team that Bethenny already had. Housewives wasn't her first trip to the reality show circus.
