There is no such thing as an 'open' adoption.  B&T are Carly's parents and can communication any way they want (or not communicate) with C&T.  It's not a legal agreement.

Farrah's date was totally producer shennanigans, but I feel like it should be used as a cautionary tale for how NOT to act on a date. Rule #1 - Don't accept a date when you have to be on a plane in an hour. Rule #2 - Don't tell a guy you're going out with for the first time that you are currently "TRYING to get out of a relationship". It's bad enough to tell someone you're fresh out of one, but the word "trying" implies it's not completely over. Crazeballs, that one. 

 

Maci and Taylor's therapy session was a load of BS as well. Could they not even change their clothes to it at least LOOKED more organic? And maybe, I don't know, stop laughing the entire time? 

I'm about over Maci embarrassing her son on national TV. I know it's probably easy to forget the cameras as there, but COME ON. Almost every week she's outing him for something private. Why, WHY would you call out his refusal to poop at school on camera??? She mentions that bullies pick on kids who poop at school. Well, how do you think bullies are going to react to seeing this? Sheesh. 

 

Oh look, Amber and Matt are pretending they actually care about their dogs. Internet FU! 

And Matt totally had a DGAF look on his face when Amber swooned over Leah calling him her "step-dad". I have spent entirely too much time this morning trying to think of what else Leah was trying to call Amber other than her "lead", cause ain't no way anyone would follow in HER footsteps. 

And, once again, we have Amber picking on Gary for no fucking reason what-so-ever. She pulls up to his house and immediately starts ragging on his hat. WTF was wrong with his hat? It's cold, that's a warm hat. They're cute, too, IMO. Amber acts like she's some fashion authority, but she really just looks like she should be hanging out with the drunk, sad divorcees in Palm Beach. 

Then she starts whining about having to bring Leah back at her regular time. "But I lost my weekend because I had to go to Puerto Rico". HAD? Bitch, the only things you have to do is pay taxes and die. No one forced you to go on vacation. You couldn't have insisted on a different date, so you wouldn't have to miss out on time with your daughter? Oh, that's right, because you don't care. When she's at your house, all you do is get fast food and let her watch Netflix in her room. Oh, and give her "baby hooker" make up. Real nice parenting there, Amber. 

Look how she couldn't even be bothered to take the kid home because she was mad at Gary. So that meant she didn't even take Leah to Karate? WTF? If Gary is successful and happy, that bothers Amber. If Leah loves her dad, Amber is threatened. It's pretty clear where Leah's home is, and that's with Gary. Just because she visits Amber doesn't mean anything. Leah is learning already how to placate her mom. She just drops some kind of faint praise her way and Amber thinks she is mom of the year.

If  was B and T, I would take legal steps to ensure that my child or my child's name was not associated with some fake foundation. I'd also be consider some sending a cease and desist letter telling them to stop mentioning my child on TV, in the media or through their social media. I would also insist that all images of my child be removed from places where they can be seen by the cameras, as well as in all social media accounts that they control. If they don't stop, I would go to court and have the court compel them. B and T certainly have enough evidence by way of harassment by C and T's fans to warrant such an action.

You guys have said it all.  Ambie is totally jealous of Gary.  That's sad that she didn't see Leah's reaction to the new house. I liked that Gary called Leah Chuck Norris, when she was in her Karate uniform. The house looks nice! I am happy for them.

I wish he would lose it without surgery, but at his weight and with the health problems associated with being morbidly obese,  any way he can lose weight will have a positive effect on his health, even a surgical intervention. Gary is young and probably hasn't had many major health problems yet, but in 15 years, he will feel the long term effect of carry around all that weight.

Let me start with Amber.   Her make up line -- I have a feeling it is just a generic make up line that anyone can "design" by picking which colors they want in "their line" and they customize the packaging.   Indeed she thinks she is on par with Estee Lauder with that junk.   It is doubtful Amber's "businesses" will be around in a few years for Leah to "take over" but Gary's rental empire will be booming.  That's what Leah will be running.

Amber's narcissistic delusions about Gary were just that...narcissistic delusions.  Nothing she said made any sense; except it was telling when she said "What does Gary know about farming and chickens?!"   She is so emotionally stunted and ignorant that she thinks other people can't learn, grow, and change because she doesn't.  Amber sounds so ignorant mocking him because he clearly has way more business sense than her.  I think his 90 chickens will be for tax purposes for his new property.  We have a friend who does that with the rural property she lives on.

The surprise move may have been upsetting for Leah.  All kids have different levels of tolerance for different situations, but generally moving is stressful for kids.  It is stressful for me and I'm an adult!  A surprise move might give me PTSD.  I grew up in a stable home with my parents married so I don't know what these kids go through.  I just imagine it has to be hard on Leah having an absent mom.

Maci needs to stop embarrassing Bentley, and I also blame mtv because they could edit this stuff out.  Poor kid.

Catelyn and Tyler with their foundation is frustrating to listen to.  They were saying they want it to be for minors because there aren't any.  There has to be a reason there aren't any!  It doesn't have to be named after Carly.  It could be named anything, but whatever.  They still keep up with this delusion that Carly will come running to them when she is 18.  I've mentioned before that I was adopted at birth.  As a child, I would have been horrified if people like the Baltierras had come around; especially crackhead Butch.  They look dirty, and you know they stink!  Their house is a pigsty and I imagine they reek of dog piss, crap, stale weed smoke, and cigarettes.  I'm gagging thinking about it.

Let me say it again...let's hope when Carly is old enough she sees how poor little Nova was raised and realizes Brandon and Theresa adopting her was on par with hitting the powerball lottery of life.

I agree. I would hire an attorney and send cease and desist letters to Cate, Tyler, MTV, the production company, Dawn and that Bethenny agency. If they disregard the letter I would pursue any legal remedies available. Cate and Tyler (and all others involved) need to be held accountable for the consequences of their selfish actions.

Amber got some new makeup in, so she said she was going to try it out on Leah. She then proceeded to tell her daughter she was going to make her look like a "baby hooker", as if that shit is funny. I found it very distasteful.

Yeah, she didn't even tell him she was pregnant, and didn't want him involved. Cut to a few years later, and suddenly he was her "true love", the one that got away", and now Sophia's imaginary friend. It's creepy revisionist history, but I'm at least glad "Daddy Derek's" family gets to have some involvement with Sophia. 

Thank god I had finished eating before seeing Nova with the poop. It literally made me nauseous. And Tyler comes off as so fake to me when he acts like he's just DYING to see Carly.

Hey all! Long-time follower, first-time poster! I have been hopelessly addicted to this terrible show since the beginning, (guiltiest pleasure) and I take great solace in knowing others love to hate-watch as well. I seriously love reading what you guys write in this forum, and I just graduated college so I finally have some wiggle room in my schedule to participate in the snark-fest. You guys, I have been holding it in for so long!

Ah, this episode didn’t disappoint in its reel of eye-roll worthy parenting fails, like springing a huge life-changing event on a young kid by “surprise”-moving, or threatening to “pop” your baby for acting like (um) a baby while attempting something as whack as applying nail polish on a 1-year-old. Why not instruct our other kid to swear in elementary school while we’re at it. Oh, and let’s not forget repeatedly announcing our intention to create a Booboo Baby Hooker out of thin air and rouge, (guess that makes Amber her “lead” hooker?)

But what more can we expect from the group of geniuses who I’m pretty sure booked an entire vacation based on the thumbnail images? How is it possible to get off an airplane in a faraway place and spend an entire weekend with literally no idea of your location on the planet? Wonder if Cate was disappointed when she couldn’t find any “Spanish” food. At least the island had Dijiorno.

Major props to noVUH-LEE for immediately giving adoption-Dawn a true peak into to her “little environment” by not missing a beat and showing off her turd collection.

Sure Amber, Gary’s totally trying to rub his glamorous 90-chicken life in your face. And your stink face is genuinely due to concern for his potential for lawn-mowing sunburn. Homegirl just can’t stand seeing others happy because it threatens her high horse fantasy of being the classiest ex-con-sprawled-out-on-a-floral-chaise-lounge the world has ever seen. We know, you’re just ever-so mature and evolved thanks to your stint in gel, but do you really think you’re fooling anyone with that strange old-money southern debutante persona you’ve adopted? We all know you’re that awful 16 & pregnant girl who we all watched act like a psycho biatch to her boyfriend and lose custody of her only kid, in between segments of Jabba-the-hutting on the couch. You’ve done literally nothing with your life, and no one sees you as a “boss-lady.” That won’t change no matter how much you call adults around you “sweetie.”

Oh Maci, how DO you do it? So effortlessly cool and “chill.” Just smack her on the ass and call her Susan, ain’t she just every man’s dream. We get it, you’re so “not about the drama,” we can tell by the way you incessantly complain about every in-and-out of your boring life, but manage to do so in a monotone voice. So very zen. Pass her another beer, and call her a curse word as a term of endearment, she’s not like “other girls.” What more could a tall bearded baby ask for?

Note to self: when perusing dating profiles, award extra points for “long words” you wouldn’t think of trying to pronounce on camera. She’s not totally off the mark by seeking out a psychologist, though…

Over-all this episode left me with more questions than answers. Like when did Cate hit middle age? Does Ryan really think that a typical wedding party consists of a dad best man, mini best man, and flower-boy? (What’s a reception?) AND WHAT ON GOD’S GREEN EARTH DID THAT HYPNOTIST DO WITH THE REAL FARRAH?!

Guys, I need answers.

I also saw a cup from Subway on her make-up counter. Eating out all the time. That is why Amber remains heavy. 

Amber is upset because the life Gary is living and the material possessions he has acquired (farm, bigger house, rental homes, etc.) are things she could have had with him. Instead, it is Kristina who is enjoying that life. I came to this conclusion when Amber mentioned (paraphrasing) how her decision to go away (prison) changed her life, but not for the better.  She thinks if she hadn't gone to prison, she and Gary would still have been a couple. It was the first thing she said when she was released from prison and found out Gary moved on in his love life. Amber is off the charts. I think she is mentally losing it, more than she already is. She is delusional and her thoughts are irrational. I am not giving her excuses, just an observation. She doesn't have stability with Matt as much as they love to paint that picture. Gary has stability. Amber pushes the idea of stability by talking about the flipping houses business, the business that no longer exists. Gary buys homes, renovates them and rents them out. Matt and Amber buy homes while they can't even own their own home. Gary is set for life. Amber owns nothing. 

Dawn said, "Let's wash your hands" to Nova. Cate said, "Let's wipe your hand" after the turd moment. Fucking filthy people.

That was not a lowercase L and E. If you squish them together, you will see it is actually a lowercase B, as in, "my mommy is in her BED".

So Nova carries an artificial flower around with the wire end near her eyes, picks up her own poop, seasons raw meat, did she wash he hands before or after that.......what else? Hygiene is important people!

Btw just as a little aside, when a child is involved, it's a good idea to put the seasoning in something that can be washed after. Kids don't get not touching the food with the container.

I liked that Dawn was subtly trying to advice Tyler and Cate to help/volunteer at an already existing charity instead of starting their own "foundation" and Tyler basically bulldozes right by that advice. It's so egotistical to want to start a charity on your own when you have no fucking idea what you're doing and it's basically just a vanity project for them. Bill & Melinda Gates they are not.

I think it was interesting that Maci mentioned to her friend that once the cameras were gone they started drinking and going crazy. I never really thought Maci had a drinking problem, but that convinced me there may be something to that theory. No one told her to have 2 kids in the span of 3 years or whatever the time frame was. That's extremely stressful and it's no wonder that they are snippy with each other.

Kristina has a daughter, Mackenzie has a son. They normally identify the relationship when kids are at Gary's. So far it's been cousins. No clue on this one though.
