What makes her super accomplished? Other than becoming a Doctor. That is a great accomplishment in itself, but I was wondering if there was something else. I have several friends who have done Fellowships at very reputable hospitals and 2 or 3 of them are exceptional people as well as incredible Doctors. I also know a couple who are complete Egotistical Jerks and not so great Doctors.

Anyway, I hope that they get Hazel all fixed up so that she can have a full enjoyable Life without ant major eye issues.

Hazel with her crazy eyes and Beet red face over the friggin Easter Bunny is some great TV. Then they all Lie about it. Real Nice. I hugged the Easter Bunny. The Easter Bunny is my Friend. 2 minuted earlier you thought they were gonna die in fear. LOL. Parker and Riley are the worst. Riley is in for some Mean Girl Texas sized Ass kickins in her future. She can steal from and boss around her weak sisters, but wait til she pulls that in school. She has some blood and black eyes in her future for sure. Friggin Parker trying to hide behind a 1 inch thick broom handle when she sees the Easter Bunny.

My grandfather plays Santa in a Los Angeles area mall for 22 years now and I have been one of his helpers for over 10 years so I have seen a few freakouts when very young kids see Santa for the first time but nothing like these 5 girls. Blake at least acts normal.

The crying and whining is just too mush with these girls but they get their way when they whine enough so I guess they figure why not. It works.

I guess thats what you get when you have 5 kids trying to grow in the space reserved for one. Hazel got the flat face and Block head since she was squeezed on the bottom with her 5 sisters holding her down

Parker needs to get off TV and into therapy. And no, 4 is not too young. She may need anti anxiety meds. My grand daughter did at that age, and it completely turned her life around.

I'm sure that Dr. Megan is a qualified ophthalmologist, but even within specialties there are specialists.  For Hazel I would look for someone  who specializes in her specific condition.  And I'd probably get more than one opinion.  This isn't something to take lightly, as it could mean the difference between her being able to see as an adult or being legally blind.

Thank you! You read my mind, as I can't imagine not giving my kids vegetables from the moment they can eat regular food. I would start with raw veggies and dip, which introduced them to cooked vegetables. If they preferred raw veggies, that is fine. But NO veggies...?

To be fair, I have never had an issue with bedwetting, thanks to my mother. She had 6 kids, and the firstborn boy (my bro) wet the bed until age 12 and it emotionally bothered and embarrassed him. My mother assured him he was 'normal' and shared that my father was a bedwetter until age 11. NEVER intentionally. Something to do with having such deep sleep... and then they dream they are in the washroom until they wake up to wet. Lastly, my firstborn son wet the bed until he was 12. I just taught him how to strip the bed immediately and put new sheets on. (The mattress had a protective cover so it was never a big deal.) Accidents happen, and I don't think for one minute a child would purposely pee their bed.

I have to agree with much of your post. I wonder if Danielle and Adam's habit of openly typecasting the girls has encouraged them to live up to their assigned behaviour. The girls are only going to behave in a way that meets their 'needs'. If throwing a tantrum, or hiding under a bed gets them some one on one time with their parents, then have at 'er. Adam loves how Parker only wants to be with him, so he feeds her anxious behaviour with immediate attention. Another example is Hazel's recent defiant behaviour. Did she watch some of her sisters be successful with this attitude? Now she's doing it and her parents appear baffled. Don't Adam and Danielle watch the show?

I have to say, you are entitled to your opinion, and yes, I see some of the issues you point out. However, I can honestly say that I do not believe any child is "ugly". People seem to appear ugly when their personalities are ugly or mean spirited. Just as plain folks get better looking when their personalities are beautiful. I've met drop-dead gorgeous people who slowly become unattractive if their ways are ugly.

I doubt that Adam and Danielle will be able to wrangle in the quints rebellious testing of the limits because the girls know that their parents are unable to be consistent. When you have Riley pointing out that mom and dad aren't following their own consequence countdown, then you know they aren't buying into it. If parents can't buy into a discipline approach, then the kids won't buy into it.

It’s generally an issue of a child’s body not making enough of the hormone that’s supposed to wake them up to go pee.  They can’t help it and shaming and/or punishing them is cruel and pointless.  It definitely shouldn’t be a competition amongst the siblings.  And, for the record, I don’t find a matter of fact expectation for kids to change their sheets to be shaming or punishing.

Hazel will always have nystagmus since it can't be cured.  Certain things can lesson the back and forth eye movement, but she will always have it.  The head turning is a separate issue.

In the last episode Adam sat there fiddling with Riley's hair for the longest time after he already had it combed and in a ponytail.... meanwhile Hazel fussed and screamed with her hair sticking straight up in all directions like a crazy little chicken with bright orange feathers...... Good grief Adam...Comb her hair!   

Her eyes were darting around and her face and nose were bright red... She was acting like a baby or 2 yr old..... Why do these girls scream so damn much?

I notice uncle Dale goes out of his way to pay attention to Hazel and cuddle her so there's that but he isn't there all the time.

Yes, I think it was that they needed to buy the new house or they would lose the $20,000. But they made it sound like buying the new house wouldn't be an option unless they first sold the mold house, and apparently that house was never even put up for sale. I read that some of the homeowners in that subdivision who also had mold have begun filing lawsuits against the builder so I wonder if they are holding off selling to possibly do the same?

Can’t watch the show anymore.  Sick of listening to Danielle complain about money and complain that Adam is working too much.  For a young couple, they have new vehicles, a Huge house, Louis Vit. Bags, and spend way more time going on trips and having parties than I ever did with 2 kids.

i agree that Dale is the cool one in the family, Adams bug eyes get on my nerves and Danielle is spoiled

btw, did they ever pay off their million dollars worth of hospital bills that they had in the first season.  Give me a break

So they moved out of the mold house, packed everything in cardboard boxes, so the boxes probably have at least some mold spores on them.    Then they threw the boxes in the garage, and kept them?     Now the kids play in the boxes?   Terrible idea.

I believe Adam and Danielle love their kids, but I’m not sure they’re willing or able to do the often tedious, day-to-day hard work of raising them.  Blayke seems like she was an easy, undemanding baby who probably gave A&D the freedom to travel with her and go about their lives without too many interruptions.  They thought they’d have 1 more kid and go on their way, but they ended up choosing to have 5 kids all at once.  That’s a huge commitment and I’m not sure they had a sense of the scope of it and the amount of back-breaking effort it would take.  I understand that D wants something for herself, but she’s got a FT nanny and travels a great deal for someone with so many little kids.  The girls are almost in school all day, which will free her up considerably.  Can she really not hang in there?  They both seem immature and unfocused on laying a good foundation for their girls to grow on.  I know it’s probably overwhelming to have so many kids, but it’s their moral obligation to do the work of raising them.  I think we’re seeing D acting like Mimi.  I sincerely hope they’re able to figure it out soon because it’s not going to get any easier and the stakes will only get higher.

I watched the Mothers Day episode last night.

Can Danielle ever stop crying? It seems like in almost every talking head, she starts blubbering. It's not normal.

Well, they've done better with a chore wheel for 6 than I ever did for 2! I can sympathize with Danielle because I would read about some technique to get your kids to do x better, be super jazzed to try it, and then watch it crumble in front of me minutes later. Multiple halfhearted attempts later, I'd abandon it for good. Granted, I worked full time and was a (divorced) single mom, but young children are really mentally exhausting.

I get the crying because I had tremendous guilt too, especially after losing my temper (I always apologize to my kids as well!)

Since my ex had the kids every other weekend, I guess I got breaks too, although it definitely wasn't to go on vacations! Adam seems like more of an obstacle than help most of the time. IDK, she seems sincere to me and just has the usual mommy guilt/overwhelmed-with-it-all burden 🤷‍♀️

so in a few weeks are we going to see the sister and her family move in with the busby's since they now have a bigger house and a pool ?

and another commission (I'm guessing she gets some $$ for finding someone to rent or rent-to-own) for mimi ?

Mimi got the commission in February when they purchased the house.

Soooo...Adam has to work and he gets a bitching at from Danielle for leaving town once a month and being in his office. But she wants to work on her business and he must keep the kids out of her hair?  Why does she get quiet time to work but he can't?

I felt bad for Riley when she came down and Danielle and her sister said, "of course it would be Riley...she's so nosy".  She's 4 and highly curious!  I did think it was funny when Riley said she doesn't like her mom during the Mothers Day video.  It was a cute video.

When they sell the mold house I'm sure Mimi would get the commission from that house too. Maybe this is why Mimi got her realtor license in Texas just so they could help support her with their home sales. They had said in earlier episodes that the house Mimi was living in when she moved to Texas that flooded in the hurricane was owned by Ashley's husband so there would definitely be commissions to be made just within the family. However, recent Instagram pictures from Mimi's account show her working in a school again so maybe she has already given up on working in real estate.

When a realtor assists in bringing someone to rent , rent-to-own or lease a house, where they are working with the owner (with or without an agent) -- don't they get a commission too?

If not what's in it for mimi to talk to the owners when danielle was first thinking  about staying? Mimi also closed the deal when they moved in the 1st place 6-7 mths ago.

I don't know how it works with commissions on rent-to-own or leasing. I thought it was odd that Mimi was the go-to in leasing the new house but I figured it was just a scripted thing for the show. She may have gotten a commission for that as well though.

I think Mimi was just there for some homecoming event, and received her first Mum corsage (not all schools do the big Mum, and ribbon corsages.) .    I think she's still doing real estate.  

I think the top badge is her Keller Williams badge (or whatever company she works for), and I bet the lower one is a visitor's or other ID badge, but it's hard to tell.  I bet her real estate company was there for career day, or sponsored homecoming events or something like that.

At the vet's office the tech put down a treat, and to distract from the thermometer, and shots the vet put spray cheese on the table, when Beaux was lifted up, he became very aggressive.    A food aggressive dog is not one to have near little kids who have no discipline.    They should have bought an adult dog, already trained, and used to kids.   It's not fair to the puppy to bring him into that house full of out of control kids.   And French Bulldogs are not safe in pools, but the Busbys think him 'swimming' is a good idea?   How long before he gets lets out, gets in the pool, and that's the end of him?   

This dog breaks my heart.  You don't bring a puppy, never mind a Frenchie, into a house with five unruly four-year-olds.  The puppy is probably an impulse pet store purchase, which means he's a puppy mill dog, and of questionable breeding.  It is only a matter of time before that puppy bites one of the kids and is euthanized (whether right away or after they turn him into a shelter is immaterial).  And then the kids learn that when you're bad, you get abandoned or put to death.  What a great (not) lesson to teach the kids.

Also...what happened to the bunny that was another impulse pet purchase?  Did they get bored with that pet too?

A million curses on TLC for promoting this.  It's animal abuse, plain and simple.

The house story was lame.  They bought the pool house back in Feb and never had any intentions of returning to the mold house.  They moved into the neighborhood Ashley and Nick live in.  They are probably part of the class action suit against the builder, Taylor Morrison, for the old house.  Hundreds of homes were affected by the mold and it kept returning with no permanent solution.  IMO getting a dog was a giveaway also.  Who gets a puppy at the last minute in a rental home?

Why is everybody so perplexed about Mimi's job or not job?  I don't really know anything about the Texas real estate market.  But I know several real estate agents who it's just side work for because you only get paid commission once a house sells.  They can't make an actual living at just real estate so they actually have two jobs.  Could be the case with Mimi.

With Mimi, I think the commission from buying the pool/rental house was substantial, and just with family connections, she's going to do pretty well this year.      Then there is the publicity of doing the show, being a professional this season, and I bet some people will want her to find houses for them.     If any of the Busby clan are buying properties for investment to rent out, then Mimi will get that business also.     

I believe Adam said Bun-Bun the bunny didn't work with the little kids, so a neighbor wanted him.     Sadly, I bet poor Beaux will be the after thought, and he better stay really cute, or he'll be off to a neighbor's house too, which could actually be a good idea.

• If Mimi has finally re-found herself by working in school, which appears to be her passion / experience,  and doing real-estate on the side. that is great. 
• If she has finally re-found herself by doing one or the other profession, that is great.
  • Maybe just by volunteering/sponsoring homecoming events as an realtor, will allow her to keep an eye on position opening, make contacts,  while also being around students. Or at least finding out what she needs to do/obtain to get a position in a school setting.
  • If she's in a full-time budgeted school position, as least now she has something on the side, should she get cut from the budget.
• If she still trying to find herself, then that's not so great, as its been years.  I doubt she was told on the very last day of summer vacation that her position was not-renewed, as portrayed in the 1st season.

Beaux's fate with the Busbys will probably depend on whether he can generate any income.
