  1. I tried to zoom in on her 2 ID tags on her shirt but I couldn't make out what either of them said as far as showing where she works.
  2. It doesn't say but from the homecoming caption it appears to be in a high school. And possibly working in the school office?
  3. I don't know how it works with commissions on rent-to-own or leasing. I thought it was odd that Mimi was the go-to in leasing the new house but I figured it was just a scripted thing for the show. She may have gotten a commission for that as well though.
  4. When they sell the mold house I'm sure Mimi would get the commission from that house too. Maybe this is why Mimi got her realtor license in Texas just so they could help support her with their home sales. They had said in earlier episodes that the house Mimi was living in when she moved to Texas that flooded in the hurricane was owned by Ashley's husband so there would definitely be commissions to be made just within the family. However, recent Instagram pictures from Mimi's account show her working in a school again so maybe she has already given up on working in real estate.
  5. Yes, I think it was that they needed to buy the new house or they would lose the $20,000. But they made it sound like buying the new house wouldn't be an option unless they first sold the mold house, and apparently that house was never even put up for sale. I read that some of the homeowners in that subdivision who also had mold have begun filing lawsuits against the builder so I wonder if they are holding off selling to possibly do the same?
  6. Looking at real estate records, Adam and Danielle still own the mold house as well as the rental house that they purchased back in February. Records for the mold house don't even show that it was ever put up for sale. So while we already knew they had bought the leased house before the scripted drama of trying to make a decision, the whole story about needing to sell within 6 months or lose 20K seems to have been scripted as well.
  7. Thanks Druzy! I try to keep up with the board but haven't posted until now. I agree with you that the kids are adorable. I get sucked into all these shows with multiples because of the cute factor. It irritates me how scripted it all is though.
  8. I did a little internet snooping last night looking for some info on whether Mimi is really a real estate agent in Texas as the show made us believe. While I was snooping I did find out that she had been a kindergarten teacher in Louisiana before her contract wasn't renewed. She is actually a real estate agent for Keller Williams Agency. I looked for how many houses she has sold but only found 1. And that one is the house Adam and Danielle were leasing on the show while the mold house was fixed. Adam and Danielle bought the house for $510,000. The sale date was 2/22/2019 which meant it was sold to them a couple months before last night's episode was probably even filmed. So it is definitely all scripted for Mimi to come late from work to pull Danielle and Adam aside to tell them the owner just wants to sell the house and they both freak out about whatever will they do now. They moved into the leased house at Thanksgiving and said last night they had been there 4 months. So they had already bought the house a month before. Any last hopes I had that reality tv isn't all scripted is gone now but I'm sure I will still continue to watch as I always do.
