Well if this episode was not a master class in narcissism (Kody), gaslighting (Robyn), and being a martyr (Meri) - then I don't know what would be. Christine handled all of the slings and arrows directed at her with more class and humility than I could have mustered. Maybe knowing she was breaking free of that toxic "family" was what gave her the strength to sit there calmly and let that porch of piranhas unload on her. She knows she stayed too long and this was her final act. Not fun but necessary. The rest of them will have to live out their days in misery. I'm undecided on Janelle. She looks like she wants to yell "Christine, I'm going too!" She just doesn't trust herself enough to pack her bags. Next week should be a doozy.

I think it is interesting how Kody views everyone else’s actions through such a distorted lens. Christine’s trip to the east coast for her daughter’s surgery was a vacation, her moving him out is Christine playing games, the boys working and going to school is a plot to undermine him, Janelle’s care for her children is a betrayal to him, Meri’s pain that led to catfishing was her deliberately destroying their relationship, etc. He has such an unhealthy attitude. Also, he's an asshole.

It's astounding how much damage 1 man can do to a family. This kind of mental abuse will be felt for decades by the wives and children. Except for Robyn. She'll be fine.

I haven't seen anything as raw and heartbreaking as that last confessional with Gabe. Kody does not deserve those children. It broke my heart a little that Gabe is at the point where he has so disconnected from his father. I hope that at that moment, Gabe promised himself he will never make those same mistakes with his future children. I hate Kody for the damage he's done to that family.

Well I could be wrong (I often am, lol) but don't airlines have weight restrictions? Maybe that's a thing of the past and I'm just showing my age, but I know they used to. I wouldn't think cookie dough and donuts would be good choices for that line of work. YMMV.
