Jules airs her grievances about Bethenny's abrasiveness during a Hamptons getaway. In other events, Ramona at last tells Sonja why she has avoided her, and Ramona hosts a birthday lunch that is marked by a re-gifting blunder and a confrontation.

Yeah, that was disgusting. Loved when Skinny Cow called Brin, "Minnie Me" and then proceeded to bloviate about how great, perfect, awesome, and wonderful she is. And Crazy Eyes is like some kind of mimic/robot. When she was at Sonja's, she essentially barked every word that Skinny Cow said about Dorinda and applied it to Sonja. What a dirty ape Crazy Eyes is. SO glad that Sonja set it straight that she's been holding that pinot grigio swilling hag upright for twenty years! Game, set, match: SONJA!

I think Bethenny may be coming off worse on this than she did her own spinoff? Didn't think that was possible.

She is nauseating on Twitter. I don't think I've ever seen someone buy into their own hype this way.

It's so sad/satisfying to watch Crazy Eyes sucking Skinny Cow's butthole only to be dismissed and treated like poo poo on the bottom of her shoe. Hee! Also hilarious that these hags are trying to ice out Sonja and LuAnne and every time the latter show up, they bring a lightness and energy that make these nasty creeps (Skinny Cow, Crazy Eyes, Carole) look even MORE boring and lame than usual. I thought that was tacky and wrong too. But then I think most things Bethenny does are tacking and wrong.

That turned into a really nice talk between Jules and Bethenny.  I especially liked Bethenny taking the argument against herself since Jules was too nervous to spit out a word.

I'm shocked about Ramona saying that she can't afford to be seen around town with (basically a drunken slut like) Sonja.  Wow.

Wowza at Luann being so desperate.  She must have seriously needed some money to beg Bethenny to get her an appearance on RHBH.  Also, interesting that Bethenny kept saying it wasn't HER party, it was Kyle's.  Yes, Kyle's redemption filming, so she could cry about Kim to someone who would make her look like a good person.

Bethenny's geisha & matzoh ball "joke" fell very flat with me.  True, Jules does always mention being Asian & Jewish.  But sheesh, what is so fuckin' horrible about that?

Bethenny is simply exhausting to be around.  You have to be constantly on your guard, to withstand her attacks -- that is, unless you live in her asshole, as Carole and Moaner do.  Btw, I don't believe Moaner has abandoned Sonja for any other reason than she's following orders from Bethenny to avoid her.  It's really nasty of Moaner & Bethenny, but typical of those 2.

So you think Bethenny is nice, do you, Jules?  I wanna see Jules on WWHL & see if she still thinks that -- particularly after Bethenny has slaughtered & criticized her & her husband in zillions of TH's. Oh, and then there are the endless eating disorder accusations.  I'd like to see Jules' reaction to Bethenny's nasty crap about her on the show.

Jules needs to get a thicker skin if she's going to hang with these women.

I'm surprised Ramona was so critical of Sonja. Sounded like it was a wild summer in the Hamptons. Wish they had filmed and showed all that.

Something is off to me so far this season. Too much Bethenny and John drama. Hope it gets better.

Watching LuAnn interact with Bethenny during the last ten minutes of the episode was really disturbing. LuAnn was peeing her pants in fear like Bethenny was Tony Soprano ready to chop her head off.  Like another poster just said above, Lu must really need this gig or else she would not be groveling like that on national TV. I have never seen the Countess behave like that and I usually like her very much so this is NOT a shot at her.

I agree with Umbelina and Gaily, Luanne was practically cowering in Bethenney's presence. She must really need the money. No wonder she is getting married again ASAP.

If this season is going to be everyone else as viewed through Bethenney's filter and whether they are up to her standards, I'll pass.

I swear, I thought Bethenny was gonna start bawling (and make this moment all about herself -- um, for a change?) after Jules said she has suffered from ED's in the past.  Seems to me like Bethenny is dancing around (but clearly avoiding) saying she has suffered ED's herself (and maybe/probably still does).  And if she has, her comments about Jules, thus far this season, have been reprehensible, awful, hypocritical & just plain cowardly as hell.

Bethenny's comments in support of Jules, after she admitted to suffering from ED's, were ridiculously disingenuous, phony & insincere -- especially because we've seen Bethenny throw these endless nasty accusations & in an icky/jokey way.  Ew.

Every ep so far this season I have the same reaction to Bethenny.  She's non-stop unbearable, awful, hateful, combative & horrible.  And yet she seems to be so in love with herself & her own biggest fan -- second only to Carole.  Carole made me wanna vomit with all of her Bethenny butt-smooching.  Oh Carole, you are officially useless on the show.  Get the fuck offa my TV immediately!

Did anyone notice?  Jules got in some great Bethenny digs!  Yay, Jules!  Gave me my only chuckles from this ep.

Oh, Carole. You used to be my favorite NY Housewife, but you are so, so far up B's butt. I don't even mind Bethenny as much as some but Carole is exhausting right now.

Interesting that Lu was pushing hard for an appearance on RHOBH. I'm glad she didn't get it, though. I can't stand Lu. Can't stand her when she's doing the phony, pretentious Countess thing. Can't do it when she's doing her nasty, petty mean girl thing. I don't think Luanne has a sincere bone anywhere in her body, personally. Bethenny sounded a little silly bringing up something from several months ago if she's seen Luanne since and said nothing about it then.

Red is now Ramona's color. Guess Ramona Blue is out this year. Sonja's talking about pubes in the first 5 minutes of Ramona's party. Feels like old times.

If I never hear "own your stuff" again, it would be too soon.

Agreed about the conversation between Bethenny and Jules, and Bethenny's talking heads during that exchange were everything! I am also digging the relationship between Carole, Bethenny and Ramona. It was a good vibe.

Sonja and Luann are looking rough, and that scene with Luann was painful. Oh how the Countess has fallen!

Meh, Luann was a stuck up, hypocritical, phony mean girl for years, and the chickens are coming home to roost, EX countess with the arranged marriage.

I might feel worse for her if we didn't already know that in spite of her drunken and adulterous one night stands, she's engaged now.

Right on!  Count me as one who never cared for Lu's ridiculous snobbery & phoniness.  I never tire of anyone pointing what a social climbing phony she is.  Idk, the dust-up between Lu & Bethenny fell flat to me.  OK, I liked Bethenny revealing how Lu begged to get an invite to the BH party.  But then it went nowhere, with Bethenny bringing up old grudges again & trivial slights from Lu from months prior.

That was a weird scene.  Started with Lu giving her a birthday gift, when it was Moaner's birthday party.  Birthday gift, my ass.  We know exactly what it was.  It was a kiss-the-Queen's-ring (or um, ass) gift.  Sure, it was a nice bag, but Bethenny can buy her own pricey bags (and does).  She was clearly puzzled by it -- and didn't appeciate it.  Wasted effort, Lu.  And I wonder if Lu had to sell off some of the jewelry the Count gave her (which may not have been much, since I suspect the Count was/is a cheapskate) to get that bag Bethenny didn't even appreciate.  Hmmmm.

Moaner gave me a few chuckles.  Her reaction on Lu's gift was a hoot.  And the talk of Lu's late nite antics were fun.

It's truly exhausting watching everyone kiss up to Bethenny. This used to be my favorite franchise, but it's become a chore and a bore to watch. If I drop New York, (I've put down NJ, ATL, and BH in that order) I'll be officially done with the Housewives.

Luanne's phony ass is desperate and begging and oh so gauche, darling. She's coming across as thirsty as Alex McCord. Don't be uncool, Countess.

I miss the crazy Ramona who gave no fucks, the chick who made Bethenney cry on that bridge. I need THAT Ramona back. She reeks of fear in her quest for another man, as well as her need to remain on the show.

When Bethenney was on WWHL this year and Andy asked about an All Star Housewives, Bethenney named no other NYer beside herself. She's a hating ass hater because she knows that back in the day, Ramona Singer brought the stinger. The thought of Ramona being inappropriate and too forthcoming with the calculating Lisa Vanderpump makes me gasp for air. Those two would be television gold.

I don't care that Sonja's a messy old ho. I've never seen her be intentionally mean to any of these women--even when they deserve it. Plus, she tickles me. I like how she politely and drunkenly accepts none of Bethenney's shit. She ain't receiving what Ms. Frankel is sending. Part of me wishes Sonja would step it up. But if she did, she would lose exactly the quality I find endearing. I despise women who bitch for the sake of bitching.

Jules may be in for a rough Reunion episode.  I can't remember seeing such a discrepancy between in-person interactions and THs before.  The Old Money vs New Money thing may come back to haunt her in the reunion, since it attacks more than just Bethenny.

I felt very badly for Luann during her conversation with Bethenny.  I thought Bethenny was acting like a bitch to her - especially about something that had happened more than four months prior.  It was one incident, and Bethenny blew it out of proportion (when speaking with Ramona and Carole), making it sound like Luann was stalking Bethenny all summer in the Hamptons.

I like Luann, for the most part (well, after she came down from her Countess high horse), and she really seemed shaken up and emotional over a lot of stuff.  I felt badly when she commented several times about just wanting to be included and not be excluded.  I think she was lonely this summer.

Oh gosh.  Sonja is still in her fantasy world.  And so is Ro and Lu.

It's really bad when you can't give an ounce of sympathy to someone when they tear up.  I'm looking at you Beth and your sorrow about your mother.  Ya know....  The mother you won't talk about and said you hated.  The woman who, according to you, had an eating disorder and was the victim of spousal abuse.  But it's always about 'you'.  Of course Beth congratulates herself in her blog for writing naturally thin and how sensitive it is to her.  Too bad she won't give her mother any sensitivity.

http://www.bravotv.com/the-real-housewives-of-new-york-city/season-8/blogs/bethenny-frankel/bethenny-frankel-i-have-no

I'm glad Jules admitted her issues with an eating disorder.  Too bad she just verbally fell over herself about her justifiable issues about things Beth said about her house.  Don't get me wrong.  I'm weary of the Kosher thing already and how many episodes are we in?

Lu continues to look much older this season.  The woman is gorgeous but she's looking rather haggard.  The 'present' situation was not good.  So obvious as to who she's sucking up to.  And Beth was right in not inviting her to Kyle's party.

Carole - you're such a disappointment this year.

Dorinda - stop talking with food in your mouth.  It's not attractive.

Jules discussed her eating disorder on WWHL tonight, and while her candor was very heartfelt, I cringe at how she's going to fare at the reunion. She's a little too sincere and slow on her feet for the HW shows. Even her jabs are a little awkward because she's constantly backing down from them. When asked about the "old money, new money" comment, she was apologetic but so inarticulate in her embarrassment that it was tough to watch.

The Lu/Bethenny scene was interesting for the subtext. Lu's tears seemed more out of fear and desperation that she's not making any inroads with Bethenny and that her position may be in jeopardy as a result. It was pretty revealing, although not for the reasons they were claiming.

I am confused at Jules' assertion that her money is old money. Didn't she marry her money, which would in fact make it new money? At least to her? And don't people with 'old money' generally not flaunt it, whereas those with 'new money' tend to go through it like water, often for show? In that case I would say Bethenny acts more like she has old money, and Jules more like new with her 9600 sq foot monstrosity of a construction project.

Wow, the countess grovelling is not a pretty picture. I hope she is marrying money of some sort cuz homeless Lu is no fun at all.

I had to put my hearing in high gear just to catch all the conversations. Geeze, these women can talk fast, especially Jules and Bethenny.  I am a little weary of all the Jewish references that Jules makes. As Bethenny said 'just put her in a kimono carrying a matzo ball'. We get it, you're Jewish and keep a kosher table. But, we really don't care and don't need to hear it continually. It reminds me of one of my sisters, she's never easy to go out to dinner with, she has too many requests like "is there onions in that? I can't eat onion"  "can I have the sauce on the side?" "Is your red sauce spicy? I can't have spicy food".  It's annoying. I feel that Jules she makes it a point to let people know she keeps kosher with food in order to stand out and be unique in some way and get attention. I don't know, but it's getting annoying.

Carole with her Skype call with Adam was sort of pathetic. She was trying to lift up her forehead and eyes before the call connected, she's feeling and looking her age. Adam felt forced to tell her that she looked beautiful but I saw him blink when he said it so I don't feel Adam was being genuine. I don't think their relationship will last much longer.

This show is suffering without Lu and Sonja.

I'm out though. Bethenny is a screeching asshole and I'm not here for it. I AM DONE. CPT ?? Really? Did you not hear POTUS say specifically that's not a joke white people should make.

And what was with Carole making fun of Jules' home? What an incredibly rude thing to say.

There's nothing enjoyable about this show anymore. Bethenny is officially worse than Jill Zarin and Carole has sold her soul for a place in Bethenny's ass.

Wow I'm down to Melbourne and Atlanta. Almost kicked the Real Housewives habit.

Carole was doing exactly what I do whenever I Skype or Facetime.  Have you ever seen what you look like in those calls?  Those cameras are very, very unforgiving, and especially so if the laptop or phone is below your face or at face level.  If it's below your face, everything is drooping downward.  No matter how good I think I look, in those cameras, I look like the worse example of a "before" picture for an advertised facelift procedure! It reminds me of a scene between Dorothy and Blanche from the Golden Girls, where Blanche looks downward at a mirror and was in shock at how she looked.  Dorothy told her "at our age, only on your back, Blanche".

I am right there with you. I find Bethenny amusing and she is one of my favorites too. I do not take every comment she makes seriously and like her sarcasm. I tend to lurk more in this thread, because I thought I was at a table for one with me liking Bethenny. I agree that Carol is not up Bethenny's ass. I think Carol has no problem telling people she does not agree with them. If she is friends with someone she can approach it in a calm manner one on one and not in a group setting. Now if she isn't really friends with a person I do not think she cares that much.

Can everything John related be done with? Please?

I pretty much like all these ladies. They all have their faults, but overall I do kind of like them all.

I like all of them at times, and at other times, I dislike all them just as much.  Unfortunately for me, so far this season, I am disliking Bethenny more often than I am liking her, and I think because this season seems to be extremely Bethenny-centric.  I like her in small doses - not in almost every scene and overtaking all of the scenes that she is in.  This show is the Real Housewives of New York, and should be focused equally (or as equally as possible) on each of them.  It is not a remake of "Bethenny Ever After".

While at lunch with Carole and Dorinda, Jules said in her POV "Bethenny is new money and we're old money". I don't know much about Jules and Michael except what I've been able to find by googling but from what I've read in every article, they aren't from 'old money' at all. I don't know what Jules idea of old money is but in my definition is inherited money from old established upper class families. The Vanderbilts, the Astors, Duponts, and Rockefellers are what I'd consider to be 'old money'.

Add in The Morgans~~Sonja's ex-husband's family.  Sonja is probably the most "old money" connected then all of them and she traveled and socialized in those circles way more than any of the other housewives ever did or will.

Add me to the table that enjoys Bethenny. Now, that doesnt mean I don't think she can be very rude and self-absorbed. I absolutely believe that she can be. But she amuses me. She's quick, smart, witty, and makes me laugh. But yeah, last weeks antics at her own party and the brunch were horrible. This week, I thought she was genuine with Jules (who irritates me).

Was also surprised how Ramona "went there" with Sonja at her place. And I love how Sonja just takes it in stride (when she must be reeling inside).

As for LuAnn, she definitely looks a little haggard and she is a FAR cry from the put-together, authoritative, self-assured, snobby Countess I remember from Season 1 or the mean girl from Season 3. Quite the 360.

Sonja, you need to house train your dogs! That is so nasty with their poop on the floor (and this is not the first time we've seen it).  I have the same poodle she does and they are so smart; mine learned in half an hour (thank you Poochie Bells!)  She should get one of her interns to take the dogs outside regularly.

Bethenny was like, Jules's eating disorder is a secret that is hers to share. What secret?? Just looking at her it's obvious there's an issue. The producers must have been desperate to find someone to cast, because Jules is wholly inarticulate. The choice doesn't make sense.
I'm betting that Bethenny has more money than Jules's husband. Who takes 7 years to build something other than it be a financial thing?

See, that's what I kind of like about the NY ladies. That they actually do hang out when the cameras aren't rolling. I know sometimes these shows fall victim to OffCameraitis, but here I think their off-camera interactions lend a little bit more authenticity (yeah I know a lot of it is faked/exaggerated/reenacted) in that these women interact as more than just cast members during filming.

Case in point being the strange Luann/Bethenny convo at the end. I got the sense that they are more than just co-workers even if they aren't outright friends, and that added another layer to the whole "Luann felt excluded from the BH gathering." It's kind of fun speculating the real intent there, even if I tend to think Luann was butthurt because she was thirsty for more filming opportunitie$.

Idk, I was disappointed with Jules' appearance on WWHL.  Actually, she totally confuses me.

First off, I absolutely do NOT buy Bethenny's nasty-as-fuck digs on her -- that she's a complete & total moron & inarticulate as hell.  In her scene with Bethenny, she seemed (to me) more tongue-tied & nervous/anxious than inarticulate.  I mean, seriously, this is Bethenny the annihilator, after all.  Who here wouldn't be anxious -- face-to-face with horrible Bethenny, who always is at the ready to attack with vitriol & hatred?

OK, so back to Jules on WWHL -- I didn't get Jules not being angry (at all) with Bethenny's comments on her so far this season.  She seened clueless.  I didn't get it all.  Satan Andy said Bethenny's treatment of Jules was touching (or some such nonsense/bullshit). Of course he would say that about Bethenny.  That I got.  He's either terrified of her or he's pushing the loony notion on us, how we're supposed to love, love, love Bethenny no matter what & how much hateful shit she throws off.  Well, maybe the Bethenny super fans buy that crapola.  Not me, Satan Andy, not me.

I think Carole is kind of photogenic.  In her Skype call, she didn't look so hot on camera, but her image on the laptop was quite pretty.  I want to know that trick.

Some commented on Luann's voice in previous episodes.  I didn't really pay attention.  I usually FF through the opening tag lines, but was listening tonight.  OMG, Luann sounded just like Heather's husband.  It was a WTF moment.

I'm not saying this is the case with Jules, but people with EDs frequently lead with food exemption reasons (food allergies, celiac disease, veganism) when they find themselves in eating situations.  It's the perfect excuse to avoid or limit food intake.
