I think she is referring to the 2016 lawsuit, when as a group the family won a case for having polygamy decriminalized.  On appeal, the ruling was struck down in Federal court, the judge ruling that they were never in any real danger of prosecution.  Not sure where it stands now, IIRC, polygamy is now officially decriminalized but I don't know if it was their suit/case that forced the issue.

When Meri refers to herself as an author, she is talking about their book Seeking Sister Wives.  At least she resisted the temptation of referring to herself as a "NYT Best Selling Author" as Robyn claims she is.

Always a proponent of people taking risks, living life and bettering themselves, but the level of embellishing and filtering of the wives lives continues to be the gift that keeps on giving. 2.  I noticed that too @LilWharveyGal, not a single mention of having a husband or sister wives.  After she mentions Pudge, her accomplishments and the things she is thankful for center around her BEST FRIENDS and her businesses.  Hmmmmmmmmmm.

3.  So according to her self-congratulatory birthday wishes, she confirms that Pudge finished her Masters?  So I guess she and Sludge will not be going back to Chicago?  Well, what does this newly papered social justice warrior intend to do with all this expensive education?  As far as I can tell, she is living off her mother and crowing very loudly at all of us wretched, soulless, unshorn, uneducated folks from her ivory tower.  It can’t pay very well, but she does get all the rice crispy treats and cinnamon roles she and Pudge can eat.

Meri's got Robyn's talent...rewrite the past.  Robyn erased her 'ex' and convinced herself that Kootie fathered all 5 of her spawn.

Exactly and I'm wondering how many of these "crowing from the rooftop" type of posts she plans on doing.

So far she's posted two of them and to me it sounds like someone who's trying to convince themself that they're HAPPY!!!!

Same here!  I haven't colored mine, but no retouches or cuts since last March.  Her hair looks greasy and fried all at once, like her ex-husband Kootie's.  I would think if she face filters, she would hair filter too!

I know that's the exterior of the place but jeeeez it's all dirty, stains on the ledge  and paint peeling off the walls....looks so run down... Not good.

And the decor.. Good grief,, she could have done a decent display with the old skis and sleigh then add lots of greenery but the stuffed moose sitting on a filthy little patio chair and whatever that white block thing is, it all looks like it was tossed together by a child.

Wasn't it just this week that Au-Drey laid claim to the title of graphic designer for all of Lizzie's Heritage Inn promotions, including photography?

Looks like they went to Michael's and grabbed anything left over from Christmas decor in the 75% off bins, threw some on the porch and others on that tiered table in the "front parlor" and called it a day.  If this is an example of Au-Drey's artistic talents, it leaves much to be desired.

Mixing dusty 100-year old snow equipment from the basement with junk from the clearance bin at Hobby Lobby doesn't automatically make something "vintage," Mere.  It probably also won't lure people to your location, unless there's a small subsection of skiers that love to sneeze and enjoy giant cinnamon rolls paired with syrupy and potentially random hair-laden pancakes for breakfast.

Hmmm, no, Meri - your life hasn't "happened" to you, hon.  You crafted it all by yourself.  You married into the plyg lifestyle, you made Janelle's life a living hell, you barely tolerated Christine and when those two ganged up on you, you brought in The Dark Wife, who stole your throne right out from under your keister.  Then you found love online with a banana, you refused to take any ownership, you pulled away from your "husband" but then when he did the same back to you, you cried "victim."  That's not a life of having things "happen" to you, you were an active and willing participant in all of it.
