To be honest, I haven't even seen CCB on The View yet, so no opinion just yet.  But I do have opinions on the two previous conservative panelists.  I disliked EH and her views  because she was strident, dumb and shallow.  NW shared many of EH's views, but while I didn't like NW's views, I like and appreciated NW as a panelist.

Remember this photo of Candace Cameron's brother and his birthday party with a case of the sads :)  It's hard not to wonder if he's hiding some subversive behaviour behind his ultra-ultra evangelical facade.  And the Subway sandwiches on the table is a lead-in to another fraud.  When Jared Fogle annouced he was getting married years ago, I distinctly remember Subway re-branding him as a church-going family man and "a great role model for kids."  All the while he was paying for, and having sex with, children.  His business partner was actually filming child porn in his house.  I could disintegrate just typing that.

The poster family for "keeping sweet" and "only God can solve, forgive and provide answers" produce, Josh Duggar.   The ultimate pig runs the Family Research Council who are anti-abortiaon, anti-gay marriage etc..  Again, with the audacity to rant about family values, God, and purity when he himself is a pedophile, online predator, and flying to different cities to stalk strippers and prostitutes.  A few of these woman have come forward and stated that he was sort of crazed and the act was very rough and horrible.

And of course the latest with Kim Davis and her religion's definition of holy marriage.

I read a story years ago, well over 10+ years ago / pre-cell phones w/ cameras era, about someone taking a photo of Kirk Cameron at a gay bar.  I guess Cameron was livid and demanded the guy give him his camera and when the person wouldn't Cameron harassed him for awhile then Cameron eventually high-tailed it out of there.

Especially when the husband #2 and #4 shows up for a presser dressed like this...

You photo-shopped that, right?  :)

Well, there you go.  And then he spews such anti-gay hate.  One of the worst, really.

I really hope the reason Candace got a separate intro has nothing to do with the Kim Davis discussion. How is she going to do any Hot Topics she disagrees with if that is the case? Kim Davis was just on the news and that woman appears to be totally deranged. I'm a democrat who has spent a career working on Capitol Hill and working with Members of Congress but the Elizabeth Warren love escapes me.

Oh thank god Joy is back.    The average IQ at the table went up.

I found Michelle's comments about Kim Davis' looks offensive.   If she had something funny to say that isn't insulting someone's looks, that's fine but what she did say had nothing to do with why Kim Davis is in the news.  You know it's bad when even Whoopi knows it's offensive.

Interesting that CCB is the new conservative but they didn't have her on for the political guest.   Thank goodness Joy will be there to talk politics.

Wow! ET just had a segment about the first day at the new View, the reporter was talking to Joy and Whoopie. The reporter said she heard Rosie O was coming back as a guest, Joy perked up and said, Oh, she is?" Like she was pleasantly surprised. Whoopie very firmly said, "No. No. It's not happening,". And looked pissed off that the subject came up.

I'm guessing if Rosie appears, it will be on Fridays or on days that Whoopi calls out "sick" or is filming some movie or television program.  Stay classy Whoopi.

Elizabeth Warren is against all the big money in politics. (overturn Citizens United) She's smart. She's ethical. I get the Elizabeth Warren appreciation. I don't get all the Trump questions directed her way during that segment. (What's up with that, Paula?) He is the antithesis of everything she represents.

Raven's hair-  She got,  a whole shaved side, then new blonde extensions, I guess?  It's less bizarre than some of her previous hairstyles, but still pretty weird.

Whoopi, on the other hand, looks like she got a makeover.  Her hair seemed dyed, and those weird bald spaces are better covered.  Maybe she got some extensions, too?   She also seemed to have on nicer glasses.  But the most noticeable thing to me, was her complexion.  She got a facial, or botox, and trying some new makeup, I can't tell.  But she was glowing.  She actually looked better than she had in a while.

If only she could stop talking about farts, boobs, and vibrators.

Look at all of the facial expressions in this pic. I haven't seen the episode yet but catching moments like this can be telling sometimes. Jason doesn't look like he was enjoying himself much.

I didn't mind the show today except for Michelle Collins.  It was good to have Joy on, but I might tire of her because I did when she was on before.  I always thought it was Raven who was the giggler, because I noticed it last season, and I also thought Rosie Perez had an obnoxious laugh,

Yikes - I just saw that. Whoopi was deadly serious about that! What a bitch. Joy looked stunned.

ETA - I guess NOBODY puts Whoopi in the corner. All co-hosts and contributors - tread lightly around WG, lol.

I'm sure this will excite everyone. Will be glad when we can embed tweets instead of screenshots.

I've been trying to find the perfect nude/pinky/beige lipstick.  This one looks pretty good.  Can someone please ask Mr. Trump what shade this is?  Great. Thanks.

I got the bitterness behind Whoop's comment about the coffee mugs.  I don't know when it stopped, but The View had a tradition with the start of the new season, coffee mugs with photos, drawings, or cartoons of the hosts.  I guess the show can't commit to putting any of these hosts on a mug, since any of them could be gone in a month.  I believe that this was another lame attempt by Whoopi to poke at her employers for telling her to shape up.  Putting her face on the new season's mug would be too much of a commitment that she's going to be on the show for the whole season.

Oh - and Raven's little rant about the Hampton's -  they wouldn't let her into a club, she had to tell them she was FAMOUS, "I'm on the View!"

Did she really think that was the right story to tell on TV?  Is anyone in the audience in favor of entitled bitches being able to cut to the front of the line?   I've never been to the kind of club where you have to be "somebody" to be let in, but there was still something about the way she told it, that I didn't believe.  Then she said "I Paid".  Does that mean that she was trying to get in FREE because she's famous?

Raven - if you have to TELL people you're famous - you're not.

Joy makes all the difference for me, in that I can watch if there's one person I like at the table. Couldn't watch the Jenny season, couldn't watch last year after Rosie O left. Just one person I like and can relate to, that's all I need. Thank you, show, for giving me back Joy (pun intended).

That (and the bigger table) is enough for me to give this show another chance. For now.

Yes, the kitchen table worked the first time yet the not the second time.

This newest table works and I like the couches. But I especially love that they contain the (vast) number of co-hosts.

Especially the couches as it will hinder SS when she "contributes" 50 times mauling the guest.

New hosts- kissing up to Whoopi...

Our four newest co-hosts shared how they feel about taking a seat at the table with the legendary Whoopi Goldberg:

https://www.facebook...?type=2

I think they are betting on the wrong horse.  Whoopi isn't the queen she thinks she is.  The whole Cosby thing really hurt her with ABC.  She has been giving a big fuck you the viewers and the company signing her paychecks these past few years with her obnoxious I don't want to be here but I have to be attitude.  Whoopi can be admired for her (early) comedy and (some) of her acting roles but as a moderator on the View I don't think so.  She is horrible. A moderator is supposed to facilitate a discussion not dominate with "this is my view, I'm right and you are wrong" rant.  Which is what Whoopi does.

Is Whoopi in charge of who appears or doesn't appear on the View?  I think Whoopi is starting to feel like she isn't wanted anymore.  But hey what can she expect?  It's been pretty obvious she hasn't wanted to be there so she really can't be all that surprised when people start wanting you to just go already.

In all reality, I wasn't questioning whether someone's rights are violated in terms of their opinion, but what I was wondering is why all the vitriol against CC Bure?   For that matter, the same vitriol against any of the conservatives that have been on the View. There has been a history of people bashing her for what I assume are her views, and I was wondering why the total dislike ?  Is it just because you don't like her conservative positions or because you just don't like HER?

Honestly I dont know enough about her to like or dislike her..... I do know she is extreme on her views...... and I am uncomfortable with extremists... no matter which side they are on...... Ill watch the show... and if I disagree Ill comment and try to explain why..... but if I agree Ill mention that too.  We shall see how it goes  :)

First off.... the email "scandal" is just foolishness...... is someone going to actually say.... I agree with Hillary Clinton about everything..... I think she would make a Great President.... but those emails.... Im gonna have to vote for the Republican...... it just is not realistic.

The poll criticism is foolish as well..... they are comparing polls when she was the only one running to now.... besides... polls mean nothing until voting day

Bitsy this morning on Fox and Fiends groused about the View making fun of Kim Davis's looks - "a show that supposedly cares about women making fun of a woman blah blah" - which taken on its own is a fair criticism except coming from her - Erin Andrews anyone? - is a little rich.

Then she insinuated that not having Candace Cameron on to discuss this issue was a liberal conspiracy. I thought it was crazy but apparently that's the Fox line:

http://www.foxnews.com/entertainment/2015/09/08/candace-cameron-bure-left-out-heated-chat-on-1st-day-at-view/

In other words, Bitsy can't even come up with the crazy on her own.

Buck Fitsy. I guess now that she's an accomplished journalist, she also qualifies as a wise sage and wannabe news producer/consultant now. She made more sense when she was getting advice from her daughter Grace.

I have very little sympathy for Kim Davis. I missed Michelle's remark about her yesterday and Michelle mentioned it today but the cross-talk derailed her before she could explain herself.

Raven seemed very excited about reading the live Tweets. [/sarcasm]

Welcome to newbie duties, Raven.

So glad joy is back. I'm hearing BW is thinking about returning. Please NO!! If. Rosie would tho and Nicolle too that would be excellent.

I wish someone would make whoopie an offer she can't refuse. Between her mumbling incoherence and Michelle's speed talking its painful to watch at times

Wow. Whoopi really does not understand the Clinton email thing yet she insists on being the authority.

Joy did not seem happy with the show. Between the irrelevant cross talk and the stupid tweets she was losing patience trying to get her point out.

I watched Hot Topics again today.  This has always been a problem but the cross-talk is so bad!  Why can't they do what The Talk does and throw the topic to one person, let them speak, throw to another, an so on.  The Talk still has cross-talk, but nothing like The View.

Anyway since this week is the first I've watched for longer than 2 minutes at a time since Rosie left, this is the first time I've really gotten to see Raven and Michelle, so they are newbies to me, just like Paula.

Having never seen Paula before, I find her coming across as likable and intelligent so far.

Raven seems less annoying than the few glimpses I saw in the spring. Though of course today she was consumed with the i-pad and Twitter!

I've always enjoyed Joy, and she continues to come across as intelligent and smart. Can't wait for Friday with her moderating.

Yesterday I softened on Whoopi with the puppy story. Today I got annoyed with her getting annoyed with the teleprompter person, and couldn't stop thinking that was the ugliest outfit she's worn yet.

And right now, Michelle is the co-host I dislike the most.  She seems too giggly or something.  Not sure, but I'm not really liking her.  Wish they'd kept Nicolle instead of her.

That's what brought me here today, Dahlia.  I saw this article about Julie Chen's comments, and groaned while reading it.

Good Lord...BaWa seems to think she's the ultimate View savior, if she rides in on her white horse (or in a white limo), but all she'll do is depress it more.  Some things are best left retired!
