  1. Absolutely serious. Two off the top of my head, Ewan McGregor in Velvet Goldmine, Fassbender in Shame. You might enjoy this Vanity Fair article, A Year in the Life of Michael Fassbender’s Penis. http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2012/03/michael-fassbender-penis-shame-charlize-theron
  2. You're watching the wrong movies. ;-) The Europeans don’t seem to mind letting it all hang out – see Michael Fassbender, Stellan Skarsgard, Christian Bale, Ewan McGregor …
  3. Wendy joins the Kanye, Wiz and Amber party reminding Kanye that the first time we met his wife, she was on her back! http://www.nydailynews.com/entertainment/gossip/wendy-williams-mocks-kanye-west-feud-khalifa-rose-article-1.2512771
  4. Any day now she'll get a gluten-free cooking show on Food Network. I don't believe there's a gf cooking show on FN right now so if her agent is worth a dime, they should be shopping her around as an Emmy-winning gluten-free expert and cookbook author.
  5. Adding Fortitude to the list. Thanks! That's Nicola Walker. She's the lead in another show I just started watching, the Unforgotten. She was great in River. A tip - don't read any reviews of River before watching the first episode as they all give away a piece of info that's worth watching.
  6. News flash, some of us actually seek out programming from outside the US because we know it's better! Word! Any other recommendations? I just binged River and it was excellent.
  7. The outfit http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2015/12/18/06/2F79738D00000578-0-image-m-38_1450419354821.jpg
  8. Sherri is looking a bit different these days. https://www.instagram.com/p/_IluBNILlJ/
  9. Did I miss something or was the finale poop-free?
  10. Niecey Nash and Mel Rodriguez both received supporting actor noms from the Critics' Choice Awards, but nothing for Laurie Metcalf. That's bloody criminal. :-(
  11. Greenwich is an interesting place - I was going to say it's a combo of old money and new money, but I think ‘elitists’ is a better descriptor. I doubt that they are thrilled to share fences, or cookies, with Bitsy.
  12. Oh, brother! I’m having some “stomach ailments” just reading, “About Elizabeth” on that http://www.nogii.com/about/link. I do have a prediction for her next gig, tho… She will either pair up with her great ‘friend’, Sherri, for some Christian cooking show (The Christian Cooking View) or, she’ll get a gluten-free cooking show on FN or the CC. There’s a market for both, for sure. ETA: Ugh!
  13. One-hour shows can qualify for comedy or drama, while half-hour shows can only get noms for comedy. Strange categorizations! “To clarify the difference between a Comedy series and a Drama series, any show where episodes average a length of 30 minutes is eligible to enter as a comedy and series with episodes that average a length of 1 hour is eligible as a drama. There may be exceptions to the rules, however: producers may formally petition to a new Academy panel to have the show be considered for the alternative category. This panel, consisting of five industry leaders appointed by the Academy Chairman and four appointees from the Board of Governors, will vote on a decision. A two-thirds vote was required for the show to be considered for the alternative category. So far, three petitions have been successful: Glee, Jane the Virgin, and Shameless were voted as eligible for "Outstanding Comedy Series". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/67th_Primetime_Emmy_Awards
  14. I thought it interesting that Jenna introduced Dawn to Pippa and Sister Flixta saying, “This is my Dawn.” I felt like this episode was the “dawn” for some of the characters – Patsy has decided he’s gay; Jenna realizing that people think she is uncaring and that her research work is not appreciated; Birdie passing. I’m not sure about DiDi and Dawn’s dawn yet. Anyway, I’m probably reading way more into it than is there.
  15. A good read from Vanity Fair. http://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2015/11/getting-on-season-3-premiere Fingers crossed that the Netflix idea might come true,
